Abstract

The Regional Head Election (Pilkada) is a democratic mechanism that allows citizens to directly elect their regional leaders. However, voter participation in Pilkada remains a challenge, especially in rural areas, due to limited access to information, political apathy, and a lack of political education. This study aims to enhance community participation through the 2024 Pilkada socialization program in Blorok Village, Brangsong District, Kendal Regency, Central Java. The method used in this community engagement activity is political education-based socialization, involving community leaders, neighborhood heads (RT/RW), and local residents. The stages of the activity include planning, preparation of socialization materials, implementation at the village hall, and evaluation of its effectiveness. The evaluation results indicate an increase in public understanding regarding the importance of electoral participation. Participants who previously had little knowledge about the voting process showed greater enthusiasm after attending this program. Despite challenges such as time constraints for participants and skepticism towards the election process, this socialization effort positively impacted political awareness in the community. It is expected that similar initiatives will continue to improve the quality of democracy and encourage active community participation in future elections.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the accuracy of determining sell signals and buy signals of IDX30 shares by using Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) and Relative Strength Index (RSI). The type of research used is qualitative descriptive. The population in this study includes stocks listed in the IDX 30 index for the period of May 2023-May 2024, while the sample in this study is 8 company shares collected using purposive sampling techniques. The data collection technique used is the documentation method. The collected data was analyzed using stocks that experienced golden cross and death cross for MACD and stocks that experienced overbought and oversold for RSI then put into the (W) Sign Test. The research results show that the MACD and RSI technical analysis indicators are accurate in predicting the direction of the resulting stock price movement. Thus, this research provides the accuracy of MACD and RSI technical analysis indicators in predicting the direction of stock price movements. which is included in the IDX30 index.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk uses the CAMEL method. The type of research used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study is in the form of financial statements of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk for the period 2019-2023. The data collection technique used in this study is a documentation technique. The source of the data was obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results show that the final value of CAMEL, which consists of capital, assets, management, earning, and liquidity in each period by multiplying the credit value of each ratio with the CAMEL weight that has been set by Bank Indonesia, is in the range of 81-100. Thus, it can be concluded that the financial performance of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk using the CAMEL method during the 2019-2023 period is in a healthy predicate.

Abstract

This study expects to decide the impact of capital construction on the monetary execution of PT Gowa Makassar The travel industry Improvement Tbk in Makassar City in 2019-2023. Abstract

This study aims to assess the feasibility of investing in stocks included in the IDX30 index using the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM). By analyzing 53 stocks from various industries categorized on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). through historical stock data for the period 2019 to 2023, this study evaluates individual return (Ri), systematic risk (beta/β), and expected return or E(Ri). The analysis results show that overall these stocks provide a positive return of 0.00658 which indicates that these stocks are profitable for investors. However, there were 19 stocks that experienced negative returns, where the stock of PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk. (WSBP) recorded the lowest return of -2.511%. In contrast, the stock of PT Bank Jago Tbk (ARTO) recorded the highest return of 15.902%. In terms of systematic risk, the majority of stocks have beta values less than 1 (β < 1), indicating that these stocks are defensive in nature with low correlation to the market. Based on the grouping using CAPM, 25 stocks are categorized as undervalued stocks that are worth buying and retaining, while the other 28 stocks are categorized as overvalued stocks that should be avoided or sold by investors. This research provides guidance for investors in making investment decisions based on CAPM analysis.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of leadership style on employee performance at the Class IIB Maros Correctional Institution. This research uses a quantitative method of an associative nature, with a population of 57 people who are also the sample for the study. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and for inferential statistical analysis using simple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results of this study indicate that the leadership style falls into the effective category based on indicators of decision-making ability, motivational ability, communication ability, ability to control subordinates, and ability to control emotions. The performance of employees at the Class IIB Maros Correctional Institution falls into the high category based on indicators of service orientation, integrity, commitment, discipline, cooperation, and leadership. Based on the results of simple regression analysis, there is no significant influence of Leadership Style on the Performance of Employees at the Class IIB Maros Correctional Institution.

Abstract

The study aimed to find out the prospects of Development integrated farming business of beef cattle and cashew nuts. The study was carried out from March to May 2021. Respondents of the study consisted of beef cattle farmers who also grow cashew nuts. Sample of the location were determined purposively for a reason that not all sub districts are located in Muna regency, only a few out of 22 sub districts in total. Samples of sub districts and villages were selected purposively on a consideration that there were both beef cattle cattle and cashew nuts in the selected sub districts and villages. Samples of cattle breeders were determined with a random sampling, meaning that all breeders had equal opportunities to be selected. Data and the study were obtained by means of direct interviews, which were analyzed by Feasibility Tally Sheet. Based on the research results can be concluded. The research results show that integrated cattle and cashew farming has prospects for development with each rating, namely technical (7), economic (7), social (4), financial (4) and factors management (6) .

Abstract

The study aims to determine how the financial performance of PT. Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is when assessed using cash flow statements and cash flow ratios. Data collection was carried out using Library research techniques and documentation. The population in this study is the 2019-2023 financial statements of PT. Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. The entire population in this study is also a sample. The research method uses descriptive analysis using cash flow from operating activities, investment, and financing as well as ratio analysis, namely the Operating Cash Flow ratio (AKO), Fund Flow Coverage Ratio (CAD), Cash Flow Coverage Ratio to Interest (CKB), Cash Coverage Ratio to Current Liabilities (CKHL), Capital Expenditure Ratio (PM), and Cash Flow Adequacy Ratio (KAK). The results of this study show that the amount of the company's cash flow during the 2019-2023 period shows that the company is in a liquid condition when assessed in terms of its operational activities. With the ratio analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that there is an increase in cash flow, especially in operating activities each year and the company's ability to overcome its current liabilities can still be overcome. This shows that PT. Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is in a fairly good position during the 2019-2023 period.

Thesis of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Supervised by Anwar and Uhud Darmawan Natsir.This study aims to determine the influence of work discipline on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 5 Tana Toraja. This research uses a quantitative associative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 56 teachers at SMA Negeri 5 Tana Toraja. Data analysis techniques used simple linear regression with the help of SPSS 24 software. The results of the study indicate that work discipline has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance. Indicators of work discipline such as punctuality, compliance with regulations, and commitment to carrying out tasks contribute to improving teacher performance. Additionally, a good work environment and support from the school principal also help foster high work discipline. This research demonstrates that improving work discipline can enhance teacher performance at SMA Negeri 5 Tana Toraja.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of companies in the transportation and logistics sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019-2023 period using the DuPont Analysis method. This approach involves the use of financial ratios such as Net Profit Margin (NPM), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Price to Earnings Ratio (PER) to evaluate profitability, asset utilization efficiency, and company equity performance. The data used was obtained from the companies' annual financial reports, the IDX website, as well as supporting data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and other relevant sources. The research results show that the average NPM, ROA, and ROE of companies in the transportation and logistics sector are above industry standards, reflecting strong profitability performance. However, the TATO is below industry standards, indicating the need for improvements in asset utilization efficiency. Additionally, the high average PER reflects positive market expectations regarding the sector's growth in the future.
