Abstract

This study examines the sustainability of implementing the P5 Worksheet in strengthening student character at SMAN 1 Terara, focusing on several related variables: cooperation, discipline, and responsibility. The research employs a descriptive approach with a mixed-method design, combining qualitative and quantitative analyses to understand the worksheet's impact on student character. Data were collected through classroom activity observations, in-depth interviews with teachers, and questionnaires completed by teachers to measure the dimensions of student character. The findings indicate that the P5 Worksheet is effective in enhancing student cooperation, despite challenges such as limited time, students' difficulties in understanding instructions, and the relevance of content to the local context. Additionally, limited institutional support was found to affect the smooth implementation of the program. Based on these findings, it is recommended to adjust the worksheet materials, improve teacher training, and strengthen support from the school to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of the P5 Worksheet in fostering student character development.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are one of four skills that students must have in the 21st century. However, several research results show that students' critical thinking skills in Indonesia are still very low. This research aims to test the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Flipped Classroom (PBFC) model assisted by e-Modules in improving the critical thinking skills of prospective physics teachers. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. The research was conducted at the Physics Education Study Program at the University of Mataram. The research subjects consisted of 52 prospective physics teachers who were studying Basic Physics I. Data was collected using a critical thinking skills test given before and after treatment. The results of data analysis show that the average score of critical thinking skills of prospective physics teachers in the experimental class and control class both increased to the moderate category with N-Gain scores of 0.63 and 0.48 respectively. Based on the results of the t-test at the 95% confidence level with the degree of freedom dk= 52 it shows that there is a significant difference in the increase in Critical Thinking Skills between the experimental class and the control class with a value of tcount= 2.21 with a value of ttable = 2.01 . Apart from that, based on the results of the effect size calculation, it shows that the effectiveness of the E-Module assisted PBFC model in improving students' critical thinking skills relative to the conventional model is different in the large category. In other words, the PBFC model assisted by e-modules can be used as an alternative learning in the classroom to improve the critical thinking skills of prospective physics teachers or students in general.

Abstract

Learning media is a container for messages that educators want to convey to students, which aims to achieve an effective and efficient learning process. Along with the development of learning media technology, it is necessary to continue to develop so that the quality of education can get better. One of the media that can be used in learning is videoscribe. This study aims to determine the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of videoscribe-based physics learning media that have been developed to improve students' critical thinking. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) research method with a development model consisting of define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. Feasibility was reviewed by 6 validators consisting of 3 expert validators and 3 practitioner validators. Practicality is seen from the results of student responses and the implementation of learning. Effectiveness is seen from the results of the trial limited to 1 class at SMAN 1 Alas Barat. The research instruments consisted of videographs, validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and observation sheets of learning implementation and concept understanding tests. Data analysis techniques consist of quantitative descriptive and N-gain test. The results of the study show that learning media is feasible to use with an average of 3.4 with very good categories and research reliability reaches > 75% with reliable criteria. This research is also effective because there is an increase in students' critical thinking with an average N-gain score of 60.24 with moderate criteria. The conclusion is that videoscribe-based physics learning media is feasible, practical, and effective for increasing students' critical thinking theory of momentum and impulse

Abstract

This study is aimed to investigate the effect of Learning Cycle 7E model on the physics problem-solving abilities (PSA) of students. This study is an experimental research with a non-equivalent control group design. The population is all students of class X MIPA SMAN 3 Selong. The sampling technique was purposive sampling in which class X MIPA 4 class as the experimental class and X MIPA 1 as the control class. The experimental class was treated with Learning Cycle 7E model, while the control class was given a conventional learning. Before and after being treated, both classes were given a PSA test which amounted to 5 questions. The results of the initial and final PSA tests were analyzed for homogeneity and normality to conduct hypothesis testing. Hypothesis test analysis shows that  is rejected and  is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Learning Cycle 7E model on students' physics problem solving.

Abstract

Learning during a pandemic requires every teacher to be able to improve literacy skills in terms of using technology to help the learning process. However, due to the rapid paradigm shift due to the COVID-19 pandemic, from direct learning to online-based learning. Therefore this activity was carried out to improve the ability of Madrasah Aliyah Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela teachers in using various learning support applications, especially the Ministry of Religion E-learning. The Ministry of Religion E-learning application is an application recommended by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia for use in the distance learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic at the madrasa level. The use of applications in the learning process is expected to be able to increase student motivation and enthusiasm for learning during the learning period from home and still pay attention to health protocols. Participants in this activity were attended by all teachers who teach at Madrasah Aliyah Plus Nurul Islam with a total of 36 people. In its implementation, this activity consists of three stages, namely 1. The preparation stage, 2. Implementation stage, and 3. Evaluation stage with each activity an evaluation process is carried out to ensure that the initial objectives of this activity can be achieved. Based on the activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that this mentoring activity is needed by teachers in understanding the use of the Ministry of Religion E-learning application with various supporting features and its implementation. Also, after carrying out this activity, teachers began to get used to the use of the Ministry of Religion's E-learning application in carrying out the learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of an e-module supported by Heyzine Flipbooks, specifically targeting the topics of temperature and heat integrated with ethnoscience, to enhance students' science literacy abilities. Conducted with 24 seventh-grade students in East Lombok, the research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, adhering to the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The results demonstrated a significant improvement in students' literacy, with average pre-test scores increasing from 29 to 77 post-test, resulting in an N-gain of 68%. The findings suggest that the e-module effectively enhances students' capabilities in explaining scientific phenomena, evaluating investigations, and interpreting data, particularly through the integration of local cultural contexts. The study concludes that digital learning media, when combined with ethnoscience, can foster meaningful science learning experiences

Abstract

This study aims to describe research trends related to the integration of Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Ethno-STEM, and Augmented Reality (AR) in improving students' critical thinking skills and digital literacy during the period 2016 to 2025. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the development of scientific publications related to the integration of the three approaches and their contribution to strengthening 21st century skills. The method used is descriptive analysis with a bibliometric approach using data from Google Scholar analyzed through Publish or Perish (PoP), Dimensions.ai, and visualized using VOSviewer. The results of the study show a significant increasing trend in publications discussing the integration of PBL, Ethno-STEM, and AR, especially since 2022, as well as the dominance of publications in the form of book chapters. In addition, keyword visualization confirms that the theme of developing innovative learning models, critical thinking, and digital literacy is the main focus in modern science education research. This study recommends further development of the integration of contextual and technological approaches to support improving the quality of learning in the digital era.
