This research used a qualitative approach involving 102 (one hundred and two) ECE-CFS teachers as respondents. Respondents answered 5 questions via Google Forms. Data were analyzed using the open coding and axial coding approach of the Corbin & Strauss model. The results show 19 (nineteen) types of best practices in developing tolerance in ECE-CFS. The dominant types include habituation activities, providing examples, and organizing special activities. The perspective of progressivism philosophy, the characteristics of an emancipatory curriculum, and the optimization of social capital are discussed to provide recommendations to develop tolerance in ECE-CFS.

Abstract

Inequality is a condition characterized by an unbalanced assessment process. Physical and psychological factors, both those measuring and those being measured, may impact assessment inequality. The purpose of this research was to highlight the potential inequity in the performance assessment of madrasas in underdeveloped areas. A quantitative research design was employed. The data were collected using a questionnaire instrument that had been proven valid and reliable.  Path analysis was used to determine both direct and indirect effects. The findings showed that measurement errors related to the instruments used have a direct positive effect on inequality in the performance assessment of madrasas in underdeveloped areas, as well as an indirect effect mediated through teacher quality. One alternative solution to reducing the imbalance in assessing the performance of madrasas in underdeveloped areas can be implemented through policy dimensions, including macro, meso, and micro dimensions.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the market of MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) platform providers in Indonesia using machine learning methods to analyse trends and user behaviour. MOOCs provide broad access to education, especially during the pandemic, where the need for learning flexibility increases. Although machine learning applications have been widely applied in the financial sector, their application in the exploration of the education market, particularly MOOCs, is still minimal. This research aims to address this gap by applying machine learning algorithms, such as clustering and decision trees, to understand user preferences and predict future needs. The study found that Duolingo leads the MOOC market in Indonesia with a 79.76% share. Although the market is dominated by a few big players, there are growth opportunities for new platforms through innovation and proper segmentation. This research also shows the importance of applying AI technology in processing big data to understand market dynamics more comprehensively.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the resilience of Gudeg micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Yogyakarta with a focus on the basics of resilience and survival strategies applied by business actors. Through a qualitative approach with a case study design, data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of a number of Gudeg MSME owners in the Wijilan culinary center area of Yogyakarta. The results showed that the basis of MSME resilience includes two factors, namely internal and external. In both factors, there are aspects of value, appreciation, consistency, preservation, culture, innovation, activity, and product. Meanwhile, the survival strategy includes the synergy of marketing mix theory with PESTLE Analysis. The findings underscore the importance of a combination of internal and external strengths and adaptive strategies in maintaining the sustainability of traditional culinary businesses amidst changes in the business environment. This research provides practical implications for the development of MSME assistance policies based on local potential and business resilience.

Abstract

Simpulan penelitian menegaskan pentingnya desain pembelajaran adaptif, visual, dan berbasis teknologi dalam mendukung keterlibatan serta optimalisasi potensi belajar Generasi Z. Analysis of Generation Z students' learning styles from a social cognitive theory perspective Abstract: This study aims to map the learning style tendencies of Generation Z students in digital learning environments and explain them through the lens of Social Cognitive Theory (SCT). A quantitative descriptive survey method was employed using the Index of Learning Styles (ILS) instrument, which was translated and culturally adapted into Indonesian. Data were collected online from 309 respondents aged 13–19 years in the Solo Raya region using purposive–incidental sampling. Descriptive statistical analysis was conducted using percentage distribution. The findings revealed a dominant visual learning style (54%) followed by assimilative tendencies, while the active–reflective and sequential–global dimensions scored low. These results indicate a strong preference for visual observation-based learning, flexible strategies, and technology-driven information access. Within the SCT framework, the learning styles of Generation Z are shaped by reciprocal interactions between personal factors (visual preference, self-efficacy), behavioral factors (self-regulated observational learning), and environmental factors (intensive exposure to digital media). The study concludes that adaptive, visually rich, and technology-integrated instructional designs are essential for enhancing learning engagement and optimizing the educational potential of Generation Z learners.

Abstract

Technological developments and global challenges in the digital era require education to provide creative and innovative learning. Creativity is understood as the ability to generate original and useful ideas, while innovation is the application of these ideas to create added value. This study discusses the concepts of creativity and innovation in education, the role of teachers and educational institutions in developing them, and the obstacles faced in their implementation. Various challenges, such as limited facilities, a rigid curriculum, minimal teacher competency, and an unsupportive school culture, are identified as key inhibiting factors. This study also proposes strategies for developing creativity and innovation at the school, teacher, government, and student levels. Synergy between all stakeholders is key to creating an adaptive, relevant education ecosystem that is able to meet the needs of the 21st century. Thus, the development of creativity and innovation is a crucial element in the transformation of education towards dynamic and sustainable learning.
