Abstract

Fine motor skills in early childhood require stimulation through activities that suit their characteristics. However, in the field, children are still found to have difficulty coordinating finger movements and limited use of manipulative media. This study aims to describe the process of stimulating fine motor skills in children aged 4-5 years through clay play activities in Group A of RA Asy-Syuhada'. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with 9 children as purposively selected subjects. Data were collected through observation and interviews. The results showed that clay play activities can stimulate children's fine motor skills through squeezing, pressing, rolling, and shaping activities. These activities train the strength of small muscles in the hands, improve eye-hand coordination, and flexibility of children's fingers. Thus, playing with clay is proven to be effective as a medium for stimulating fine motor skills in early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of role-playing activities in promoting the social-emotional development of children aged 5–6 years. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed at RA Asy Syuhada'. The participants consisted of 15 Group B children and their classroom teacher. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that role-playing activities effectively promote children's social-emotional development, particularly in communication skills, self-confidence, cooperation, empathy, and peer interaction. Among these indicators, self-confidence and social communication skills emerged as the most prominent improvements, as children became more confident in expressing their ideas and interacting with their peers during learning activities. This study also demonstrates that role-playing provides meaningful and contextual learning experiences by actively engaging children in authentic social situations. Therefore, role-playing can be considered an effective learning strategy for supporting children's social-emotional development in early childhood education.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the concept of Al-Bayyinah in QS. Al-Bayyinah [98]: 1-8 and the concept of Zihar in QS. Al-Mujadilah [58]: 1-4, as well as to explore their implications for the dynamics of human actions through the lens of Maqashid Tafsir (the objectives of Islamic law). This study is a qualitative library research employing a descriptive-analytical method based on intertextual approaches to both classical and contemporary exegesis (tafsir) books. The results demonstrate that from the perspective of Maqashid al-Shariah, QS. Al-Bayyinah centers on Hifzh ad-Din (preservation of religion) and Hifzh al-’Aql (preservation of intellect) by emphasizing that all righteous deeds must be rooted in clear evidence (bayyinah) and sincerity to attain Allah's pleasure. Meanwhile, QS. Al-Mujadilah verses 1-4 reforms the pre-Islamic Jahiliyyah tradition of zihar as a manifestation of Hifzh an-Nasl (preservation of lineage/family) and Hifzh an-Nafs (preservation of soul/honor) to protect women's rights within the marital institution. This study concludes that both concepts imply the necessity of reconstructing human deeds, both in the theological-spiritual realm (sincerity in action) and the socio-domestic domain (linguistic accountability and kaffarah sanctions), to foster just well-being (maslahah) in this world and the hereafter. Abstract

Konflik kesiswaan adalah konflik yang melibatkan siswa, baik antar siswa, siswa dengan guru dan siswa dengan masyarakat yang terjadi karena adanya suatu perbedaan individual ataupun keterbatasan sumber daya dan ketidak sesuaian tindakan antara pihak yang berhubungan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, ada tiga pokok permasalahan yang akan menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: Pertama, Bagaimana peran kepala sekolah dalam mengatasi konflik kesiswaan di SMK Al-Azhar Azzayyadiyah Sampang. Kedua, Faktor pendukung kepala sekolah dalam mengatasi konflik kesiswaan di SMK Al-Azhar Azzayyadiyah. Ketiga, Apa saja faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya konflik kesiswaan di SMK Al-Azhar Azzayyadiyah Sampang. Peneliti dalam melakukan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data yang diperoleh oleh peneliti berupa wawancara tidak terstruktur kepada pihak yang bersangkutan, observasi (non partisipan) dan dokumentasi, dengan informan Kepala Sekolah, Guru, Waka Kurikulum, Wali Kelas, Staf TU dan beberapa Siswa. Sedangkan untuk pengecekan keabsahan data melalui triangulasi dengan dua macam triangulasi yaitu triangulasi sumber data dan triangulasi metode. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, dalam menyelesaikan konflik, Kedua, mengetahui factor pendukung kepala sekolah dalam mengatasi konflik kesiswaan di SMK Al-Azhar Ketiga faktor penyebab terjadinya konflik kesiswaan di SMK Al-Azhar Azzayyadiyah, disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengewasan guru, adanya kesalah pahaman antar pihak, dan perbedaan pendapat saat berdiskusi.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of CANEL (car number line) media in developing early childhood numeracy skills. The research background concerns children’s limited understanding of number concepts, number symbols, and basic arithmetic operations introduced through conventional methods. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Participants were 15 children aged 5–6 years. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with triangulation to ensure data validity. The findings indicate that CANEL media provides children with meaningful, concrete and more interactive numeracy learning experiences. Children were able to connect number symbols with quantities, understand number sequences, and perform simple addition and subtraction. CANEL media also supported children’s engagement, motivation, and self-confidence during learning activities. Thus, CANEL media can be used as an alternative for early childhood numeracy learning.
