Abstract

Abstract: “Determinants of the Level of Application of National Standards of Education in Various Schools”. National Education Standards (NES) are guidelines for managing education in schools. High quality schools, apply NES well. However, it is suspected that many schools lack serious implementation of SNP. Therefore, the achievement of the application of NES is not good. In other words it has a less standard status. This study aims to describe the determinants of the level of NES implementation at various levels of school. The research method uses descriptive studies. The research subjects were principals, teachers, administrative staff, school committees, and support staff in elementary, junior high, high school and vocational schools in the Lubuklinggau region, Musi Rawas, and North Musi Rawas. Data collection techniques are collected by interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Techniques for analyzing data with “descriptive statistics” and "flow analysis" on an ongoing basis. The results of the study show that the application of SNP at various levels of the school has different achievements from one school to another. It really depends on the resources and potential of the school that is owned. In general, almost all schools have not been able to apply the NES effectively. This is determined by two main factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors such as concern for school residents, availability of resources, and availability of budgets. External factors such as the support of school committees, parents, communities, government, and donors.Key words: National Education Standards, determinants, various schools

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah penguatan pendidikan karakter (PPK) pada mata pelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri 06 Lebong sudah menerapkan kebijakan PPK dari Kemendikbud. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi evaluasi kebijakan dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru IPA, Kepala SMP Negeri 06 Lebong dan pengawas mata pelajaran IPA. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tabel cek, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah studi evaluatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam perencanaan pembelajaran mata pelajaran IPA hampir sesuai dengan kebijakan PPK dari Kemendikbud; pelaksanaan dan evaluasi kurang sesuai dengan kebijakan PPK dari Kemendikbud, karena masih terdapat beberapa hal yang belum dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah, sekolah, terutama oleh guru mata pelajaran IPA. Hal ini didasari fakta bahwa kebijakan penguatan pendidikan karakter telah lama digaungkan oleh pemerintah, sehingga sekolah harus melaksanakan kebijakan tersebut sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the strategy of increasing the perception-based character education teacher at junior high school number one Bermani Ilir Kepahiang Regency. This research apprach used is descriptive qualitative because they collected and analysis is more qualitative, which aims to understand the meaning behind the they looks.The results of this study stated that the strategy  of increasing the perception-based character education teacher done through the integration of character education into everyday learning. The school has tried as much as possible to improve the srategy of character education through the process of planning, organizing, implementation, evaluation and follow-up recommendation in order to approach perfection in accordance with the applicable procedures.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to describe the management of school’s library in Public Junior High School 01 of Pondok Kubang Middle Bengkulu Regency. This research is qualitative descriptive. Subjects in this research are head of library and staffs. The techniques of data collection use observation, structured interview and documentation. The technique of data analysis uses qualitative descriptive method. The results of the research show that this school has done arranging daily work programmes, short term, middle term and long term. For implementing all that work programmes, so the principal establishs the organizational structure of the library managers as the implementers of daily activities as well job description of each part/work function in there. The principal doing evalution with purpose to know the achievement of work from various work programmes have been set that will be as inputs to make improvements of the library management in the next school years.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe the planning of school strategies in improving the teachers’ performance. The subject of this research was the principal and teachers in Public Junior High School 1 Ketahun North Bengkulu. The method of this study was a descriptive qualitative. The data collecting technique was by interview, observation and documentation. The result of this research showed that: 1) The vision and mision team formuled by the environment considering; 2) The arrangement planning used by the several analysis; 3) the school applied the dicipline, good teachers administration and teachers partisipation; 4) The school improved the human resource development by completing the equipment and information technology.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the management of islamic religious education in public Junior High school 2 Muara Pinang. This research method using qualitative method, data collected by interview, observation, and decumentation. The subject of this study were head of shool, vice curricula, Islamic religious education teacher, and students. The results of this study are the teachers of islamic religious education at the beginning tool, the implementation of islamic religious education teacher learning using varied methods and classroom management, learning evaluation using the concept of cognitive, affegtive, and psikomotori, Islamic religious education teacher problem and conduct MGMP religious education of islam. Keyword: Learning management, Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

The objectiveof this research is to describe the management of clinical supervision at Junior High School Number 1 Talang Empat. The subject of the research were principal, teachers and supervisor. The data collected thorught observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis qualitative used the analysis of Milles and Huberman. The results generally show that the principal has been trying implementation of clinical supervision in improving the performance of teacher teaching at Junior High School Number 1 Talang Empat.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe the instructional management of English in writing skill at Junior High School Number 01 South Bengkulu. The method of this research was qualitative research. The data were collected by conducting personal interview, observations and documentation study. Then, data analysis used qualitative technique. The result of this study showed that (1) in planning of learning of English writing  skill, it was done well by English teachers, (2) in teaching learning process (implementation), English teachers used various and interesting  methods and media. (3) in evaluating and supervision the learning management, teacher had found appropriate method of measuring the students’ achievement, (4) in feedback of teaching learning process was done by doing remedial and enrichment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the management of libraries in SMAN 1 Curup, specific objectives are to describe: the procurement plan library collections and the library service, procurement activities of the library collection, processing library collection, library services to visitors, monitoring and evaluation as well as follow further to the monitoring and evaluation activities. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study is the head of the library, librarian, Teachers, students, and school principals. The techniques for collected data were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data gotten by observation, interviews, and documentation.and data analysis techniques in the form of reduction, data display, and verification. The results showed the library management has been implemented properly.

Abstract

The objective in this research is desevice the management of the curriculum in schools Basic Pilot of Lubuklinggau. The general objective of this study was to evaluate the suitability of the curriculum in primary school curriculum management Lubuklinggau in implementing the evaluation of learning curriculum specifically 2006. The method used in this research using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results of the questionnaire study states that the planner learning device KTSP scored 33.33, and on the implementation of the scores 34, and the evaluation results to get a score of 30 and an average of 32.44, it can be concluded already meet the standards. Researchers in this research can be concluded that the planning, implementation and evaluation of results have met the standards.
