Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the influence of organizational commitment and organizational culture on employee performance through employee job satisfaction as an intervening variable. With the type of quantitative research used, the primary data source used to collect data by distributing questionnaires, populsion of 107 employees and a sample of 107 employees and the saturated sample technique used, the model of this research is a phat analysis, the results of this study are as follows: Organizational Culture has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction with a sample size of 0.687 and p values of 0.000. Organizational Culture had a positive and significant effect on Performance with the original sample value of 0.370 and p values of 0.003. Job Satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on Performance with the original sample value of 0.338 and p values of 0.002. Organizational Commitment had a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction with the original sample value of 0.237 and P values of 0.001. Organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on the performance with the original sample value of 0.198 and P values of 0.014. Organizational Culture has a positive and significant indirect effect on Performance through Job Satisfaction with the original sample value of 0.232 and P values of 0.002. Organizational Commitment has a positive and significant indirect effect on Performance through Job Satisfaction with an original sample value of 0.800 and P values of 0.014.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of human resource development (HRD), organizational commitment, and job satisfaction on turnover intention at PT. Langtuhut Karya Medan, with job satisfaction as a mediator. The results show that HRD significantly affects job satisfaction, but it also positively contributes to turnover intention. In contrast, organizational commitment and job satisfaction have a significant negative relationship with turnover intention, indicating that increasing both can reduce employees' intention to leave. Furthermore, job satisfaction proves to be a significant mediator between HRD and turnover intention, as well as between organizational commitment and turnover intention. Based on these findings, the study suggests that the company should focus on improving job satisfaction, clarifying career development paths, and strengthening organizational commitment by enhancing employee welfare and providing appropriate rewards. Future research is recommended to explore additional variables such as work-life balance, transformational leadership, and organizational culture for deeper insights. Abstract

Desa Klambir V, Deli Serdang, menghadapi tantangan tata ruang akibat pesatnya pertumbuhan penduduk dan penggunaan lahan yang kurang terencana. Minimnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam perencanaan ruang serta keterbatasan infrastruktur memperburuk pengelolaan sumber daya alam dan aksesibilitas layanan. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan memperbarui dokumen rencana tata ruang desa dengan mempertimbangkan zonasi pemukiman, ruang terbuka hijau, kawasan komersial, dan fasilitas umum, selaras dengan dinamika pertumbuhan penduduk dan kebutuhan ruang yang terus berkembang. Program ini juga mendorong peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat dalam proses perencanaan tata ruang serta pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal melalui penguatan UMKM dan pengembangan sektor pariwisata berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi dan penyuluhan melalui diskusi kelompok, seminar, dan lokakarya partisipatif. Pelatihan UMKM dan pariwisata alam turut menjadi fokus guna menciptakan ekosistem ekonomi desa yang inklusif. Hasil kegiatan ini mencakup dokumen rencana tata ruang yang diperbarui secara partisipatif, peningkatan kesadaran dan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pembangunan desa, serta penguatan kapasitas pelaku UMKM dan potensi pariwisata sebagai penggerak ekonomi lokal. Abstract

This study aims to find the direct and indirect influence of work loyalty and organizational commitment on employee performance through work discipline. The research was conducted at PDAM Tirtasari Binjai in 2025. The object of this research is all employees of PDAM Tirtasari Binjai which totals 258 employees consisting of 146 employees with the number of samples taken as many as 59 employees determined by the Slovin formula. The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling technique. The type of data used is primary-quantitative data. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The research approach uses an associative-quantitative approach with the SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares) analysis technique. The data from the questionnaire distribution was processed with the SmartPLS 3 application. The results of the study show that work loyalty and organizational commitment directly have a positive and significant effect on work discipline. Work loyalty and organizational commitment directly have a non-significant effect on employee performance. Work discipline directly has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job loyalty is the variable that most affects work discipline and work discipline is the variable that most affects employee performance. Work loyalty and organizational commitment indirectly through work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work Loyalty (X1) and Organizational Commitment (X2) were able to contribute 82.3% to the formation of the Work Discipline variable (Z). Meanwhile, Work Loyalty (X1), Organizational Commitment (X2), and Work Discipline (Z) were able to contribute 72.3% to the formation of the Employee Performance variable (Y).

Abstract

Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana variabel disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. PLN ULP Siborongborongmelalui variabel prasarana kerja sebagai variabel intervening.Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah 91 orang karyawan PT. PLN ULP Siborongborong, dimana variabel yang ada pada penelitian ini adalah variabel eksogen, yaitu variabel disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja, variabel endogen, yaitu variabel kinerja karyawan serta variabel intervening adalah variabel prasarana kerja. Hasil analisa data menggunakan analisis SEM dengan menggunakan software SMART PLS 4.0. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dengan studi observasi, serta penyebaran kuesioner ke responden yaitu karyawan PT. PLN ULP Siborongborong. Hasil analisa data dianalisis menggunkan analisis SEM melalui software SMART PLS 4.0. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut maka simpulan yang ada, yaitu secara parsial variabel disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, serta variabel prasarana kerja di PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Siborongborong, variabel prasarana kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Siborongborong, sedangkan secara simultan variabel lingkungan kerja yang aman, lingkungan kerja yang sehat dan disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Siborongborong melalui prasarana kerja sebagai variabel intervening.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh employee well-being dan lingkungan kerja terhadap peningkatan kinerja pegawai dengan reward sebagai variabel moderating di PT PLN (Persero) ULP Tarutung. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksplanatori, serta teknik analisis data menggunakan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) melalui bantuan SPSS. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 76 orang yang diambil melalui total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa employee well-being dan lingkungan kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Selain itu, reward terbukti memoderasi hubungan antara employee well-being dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan, menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang baik, dan memberikan reward yang adil guna mendukung kinerja optimal pegawai.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Alva Karya Perkasa Medan with the aim of the research to determine the influence of job characteristics and non-physical work environment partially and simultaneously on employee performance in carrying out their duties. The population is all employees working in the company as many as 120 people and sampling using the Slovin formula so that the number of research samples used is 55 respondents. The type of data used is primary data and the data source used is secondary data, data collection techniques using literature studies, surveys. Data analysis techniques are multiple linear regression, classical assumption tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the study show that job characteristics and non-physical work environment partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. There is a sufficient correlation between job characteristics and non-physical work environment with employee performance and the percentage is 16.3% and the remaining 83.7% can be explained by other variables not studied.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and education on employee performance with job promotion as an intervening variable at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 North Medan. This study is motivated by the importance of improving employee performance which is not only influenced by individual abilities, but also by job promotion opportunities as a form of appreciation and career development. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The number of respondents in this study was 69 employees selected through a purposive sampling method. Data analysis was carried out using Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) to test direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results of the study indicate that: (1) competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) competence has a positive and significant effect on job promotion, (3) education does not have a significant effect on employee performance, (4) education has a positive and significant effect on job promotion, (5) job promotion has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (6) job promotion mediates the effect of competence on employee performance, and (7) job promotion also mediates the effect of education on employee performance. Thus, it can be concluded that competence and education are important factors in supporting job promotion, while job promotion is proven to be a key variable that improves employee performance at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 North Medan.
