Abstract

Anxiety in the elderly is a serious problem that can have a significant impact on the quality of life of the elderly. The aim of this research is to understand the treatment of anxiety in the elderly. The method used in carrying out this research is library research which uses 8 research journals related to anxiety and the elderly. The number of articles analyzed was 8 research articles related to anxiety in the elderly. The research results showed comprehensive treatment including psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy. Antidepressants are a treatment for end-of-life anxiety disorders, and psychotherapy, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, may be effective. The implications of this research can be used by family, friends, the community to manage anxiety, especially in the elderly.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the picture of happiness of new students. The research method used is the library research method which uses scientific articles as a source of research data. The analysis used is content analysis of the article. The results of this research show that t new students' happiness can be obtained from themselves and from their social environment. Happiness that originates from oneself, such as feelings of gratitude, health, a more optimistic outlook and a more positive attitude towards other people. Meanwhile, the source of happiness can also come from the social environment, such as the income earned, the quality of social relationships, social support and community. The impact of happiness on new students can have a positive impact including the ability to handle academic stress, as well as being more involved in campus activities.

Abstract

Parental divorce can lead to emotional and psychological disturbances in children, especially during adolescence. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between forgiveness and anxiety in adolescents with divorced parents. This research uses a quantitative method. The number of subjects in this study was 35 adolescents with divorced parents, aged between 15 and 25 years, moeslem students. The sampling technique used was incidental sampling. The instruments used were a forgiveness questionnaire and an anxiety questionnaire. Data were analyzed using correlation techniques. The results of the study showed a significant correlation between forgiveness and anxiety. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between forgiveness and anxiety in adolescents with divorced parents. The implication of this research is that it can be used to help adolescents with divorced parents become more capable of engaging in the forgiveness process regarding their parents' divorce

Abstract

Long distance marriage, commonly known as long distance marriage, is a type of relationship where married couples live geographically apart, often in different cities, countries, or even continents. This study aims to determine whether there is a role of communication intensity on marital commitment among moeslem couples in long distance marriages. This research employs a quantitative method with communication intensity as the independent variable and marital commitment as the dependent variable. The subjects of this study are 30 individuals experiencing long distance marriage. Data were collected using Likert scales, specifically the communication intensity scale and the marital commitment scale. The obtained data were analyzed using simple regression techniques. The results of this study indicate a significant relationship between marital commitment and communication intensity. The implications of this research can help couples in long distance marriages prioritize communication and strengthen their commitment to marriage despite being geographically separated

Abstract

This study aims to examine the academic resilience of Islamic boarding school students through a library research approach by reviewing national and international literature related to personal, social, spiritual, and pedagogical factors that shape students’ academic endurance. Findings indicate that academic resilience among santri develops through the interaction of self-efficacy, intrinsic motivation, self-regulation skills, and social support from peers, teachers, and dormitory caregivers. The disciplined, communal, and religious environment of pesantren strengthens adaptive coping mechanisms, particularly in managing academic pressure, demanding study schedules, and religious obligations. International literature highlights that interpersonal support and religious culture enhance students’ psychological resilience and academic engagement. Moreover, spiritual routines such as prayer and scriptural study function as emotional regulation tools that promote mental stability. The review also reveals that pesantren’s intensive instructional methods foster long-term academic perseverance, although they may increase stress when not accompanied by adequate social support. Overall, this study underscores that academic resilience among santri is a product of the holistic ecology of Islamic boarding school education. Therefore, strengthening resilience requires integrated strategies that simultaneously develop psychological, social, and spiritual capacities. Abstract

This study aims to analyze parental involvement in children's spiritual education as a key factor in their holistic development. Employing a library research method, the researcher explores various literatures on the concepts and practices of parental spiritual education. The findings indicate that active parental involvement, through the application of moral values, behavioral modeling, and open communication, significantly contributes to children's emotional, social, and academic development. The research reveals that children receiving adequate spiritual education are likely to possess better psychological resilience and more mature interpersonal skills. Although challenges such as economic pressures and time constraints hinder spiritual education at home, support from educational institutions and collaboration with the community can enhance its efficacy. The implications of this research highlight the importance of strengthening parental roles in spiritual education to shape children's character and moral identity, as well as to prepare them for future challenges. These findings provide valuable insights for the development of educational policies that emphasize parental involvement in supporting children's spiritual education. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tren dan arah penelitian diskalkulia pada siswa sekolah dasar melalui pendekatan analisis bibliometrik dan systematic literature review. Diskalkulia, yang merupakan kesulitan belajar matematika, mempengaruhi kemampuan anak dalam memahami konsep bilangan dan melakukan operasi aritmatika dasar. Dengan menggunakan metode systematic literature review, penelitian ini menelaah 19 artikel dari basis data Scopus antara tahun 2005 hingga 2025, yang mengidentifikasi gejala, faktor penyebab, serta intervensi yang relevan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi diskalkulia sekitar 2% di populasi siswa sekolah dasar, meskipun banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar matematika tidak terdiagnosis dengan baik. Analisis juga mengungkapkan bahwa guru sering kekurangan pemahaman tentang karakteristik diskalkulia, serta perlunya pendekatan inovatif dalam pembelajaran, termasuk teknologi bantu dan strategi berbasis Executive Function. Kolaborasi antara pendidik, psikolog, dan peneliti diperlukan untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif dan adaptif. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan intervensi pendidikan yang lebih efektif untuk mendukung siswa dengan diskalkulia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memetakan perkembangan penelitian tentang prestasi akademik di sekolah dasar melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dan analisis bibliometrik. Prestasi akademik di tingkat sekolah dasar dianggap sebagai fondasi penting untuk pendidikan jangka panjang dan perkembangan psikososial siswa. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prestasi akademik dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor internal, seperti kecerdasan, motivasi, dan kesehatan, serta faktor eksternal, termasuk lingkungan keluarga dan kualitas pengajaran di sekolah. Hasil analisis bibliometrik menemukan bahwa penelitian terkait prestasi akademik semakin meningkat, terutama setelah tahun 2010, dengan banyak publikasi berasal dari Amerika Serikat. Temuan ini menunjukkan perlunya sintesis komprehensif untuk memahami interaksi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi prestasi siswa. Selain itu, studi ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi pengambil kebijakan dan pendidik untuk merumuskan strategi berbasis bukti yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di sekolah dasar. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk menjembatani kesenjangan pengetahuan yang ada dan mendukung pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan yang inklusif dan holistik.

Abstract

Program pengabdian “Membangun Kelekatan, Mendampingi Tumbuh Kembang Anak” bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan orang tua serta guru PAUD dalam membangun kelekatan aman sebagai dasar perkembangan anak usia dini. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui seminar ceramah berbasis bukti, penampilan kreasi anak sebagai media observasi interaksi orang tua–anak, serta diskusi tanya jawab untuk memperdalam pemahaman dan refleksi peserta. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman peserta mengenai konsep kelekatan, kebutuhan perkembangan anak, dan strategi pengasuhan sensitif. Observasi selama kegiatan juga memperlihatkan peningkatan kualitas interaksi positif orang tua–anak, serta respons emosional anak yang lebih percaya diri dan adaptif. Peserta melaporkan bahwa diskusi dan contoh praktis membantu mereka mengidentifikasi pola pengasuhan yang kurang tepat dan menerapkan pendekatan yang lebih suportif. Secara keseluruhan, program ini efektif dalam memperkuat kapasitas pengasuhan dan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna, serta berpotensi untuk direplikasi pada komunitas lain melalui kolaborasi lintas lembaga guna mendukung kesejahteraan keluarga dan tumbuh kembang anak secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

 Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran dari self-leadership terhadap kemandirian akademik dengan motivasi belajar sebagai mediasi pada siswa. Kemandirian akademik yang menjadi fokus permasalahan utama, merupakan kunci penting yang harus dimiliki siswa agar mencapai keberhasilan dalam akademik. Selain itu, self-leadership memainkan peran yang penting pada diri siswa untuk mengatur dirinya agar menjadi lebih mandiri ditambah dengan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei menggunakan instrumen skala Self Regulated Learning, skala Self-Leadership, dan Skala Motivasi Belajar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Analisis Mediasi menggunakan bantuan program JAMOVI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-leadership berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar (P = 0,001 < 0,05) dan kemandirian akademik (P = 0,001 < 0,05), serta Motivasi belajar juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemandirian akademik (P = 0,001 < 0,05). Selain itu, motivasi belajar terbukti memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara self-leadership dan kemandirian akademik dengan hasil indirect effect dan direct effect yang signifikan (P = 0,001 < 0,05). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa self-leadership berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kemandirian akademik siswa, baik secara langsung maupun melalui motivasi belajar. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat untuk siswa dalam mencapai kemandirian akademik yang tinggi sehingga berdampak pada keberhasilan pendidikan.Kata Kunci: Kemandirian Akademik, Motivasi Belajar, Self-Leadership, Siswa
