Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and the non-physical work environment on employee job satisfaction at the Tanete Rilau Sub-district Office, Barru Regency. The research adopts an associative quantitative approach with a saturated sampling technique, involving 32 employees as respondents. Data collection was conducted through observation and questionnaires, while data analysis utilized validity and reliability tests, descriptive analysis, multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) software. The findings reveal that organizational culture and the non-physical work environment each have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. The regression results indicate that the non-physical work environment exerts a more dominant influence compared to organizational culture. The coefficient of determination (R²) shows that 41% of the variation in employee job satisfaction is explained by these two variables, while the remaining 59% is influenced by other factors outside the model. These findings emphasize that strengthening a collaborative, communicative, and supportive organizational culture, along with creating a conducive non-physical work environment, are critical strategies for improving employee job satisfaction and ultimately enhancing the quality of public service delivery at the sub-district level. The study contributes practically by providing insights for local government institutions to design policies and interventions that foster motivation, loyalty, and productivity among employees.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Celebrity Endorser and Brand Image on Purchase Decisions for Scarlett Whitening Products among Students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University. The sample used was 100 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business who had been selected based on predetermined criteria. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires and literature studies. Data analysis techniques consist of validity tests, reliability tests, classic assumption tests consisting of normality tests, multicollinearity tests and heteroscedasticity tests, multiple linear analysis tests, hypothesis tests, determinant coefficient tests. The results of this research show that the Celebrity Endorser and Brand Image variables have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. The variable that most dominantly influences purchasing decisions is the Celebrity Endorser variable and the one that has the least influence is the Brand Image variable. The dependent variable for purchasing decisions can be explained by the Celebrity Endorser variable and the remaining Brand Image is explained by other variables that were not examined in this research.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how rewards and punishment influence employee performance at PT. Miami Creameries. The sample used was 61 employees using saturated sampling technique. This research data collection used observation methods, interviews, distributing questionnaires and literature review. The data obtained was then analyzed using the multiple linear regression formula and hypothesis testing with the help of the SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Science) program. The regression equation formed is Y = 5,406 X1 + 0.305 + 0.808 X2. Simultaneous hypothesis testing: Reward and Punishment together influence employee performance. The magnitude of the influence of reward and punishment on employee performance with an Adjusted R square value of 69.7%. while the rest is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Beban Kerja terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan melalui Kompensasi sebagai Variabel Moderasi pada PT. PLN (Persero) UID Sulselrabar Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah seluruh karyawan pada kantor PT. PLN (Persero) UID Sulselrabar dengan sampel sebanyak 116 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) dibantu oleh aplikasi SmartPLS versi 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Beban Kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja. Di sisi lain, Kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja, serta berperan sebagai variabel moderasi yang memperkuat hubungan antara Beban Kerja dan Kepuasan Kerja.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the physical work environment and organizational culture on employee productivity at PT. PLN (Persero) UID Sulselrabar. The study uses a quantitative method with an associative process. Data was collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature review. The population in this study consisted of all employees at PT. PLN (Persero) UID Sulselrabar, with a sample size of 116 individuals, using stratified random sampling as the sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The research results indicate that the Physical Work Environment has a positive and significant effect on Work Productivity, meaning that the better the work environment, the higher the employees' work productivity will be. Organizational Culture also has a positive and significant effect on Work Productivity, meaning that the better the organizational culture, the higher the employees' work productivity will be as well. Additionally, the Physical Work Environment and Organizational Culture simultaneously have a significant impact on Work Productivity, meaning that the physical work environment and organizational culture together influence the work productivity of employees at PT PLN (Persero) UID Sulselrabar.

Abstract

Pengaruh Corporate Social Responsibility dan Likuiditas terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Perusahaan Pertambangan yang Terdaftar LQ45 di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2020-2024. Program Studi Manajemen, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Negeri Makassar (dibimbing oleh M. Ikhwan Maulana Haeruddin dan Annisa Paramaswary Aslam). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dan likuiditas terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan pertambangan yang terdaftar dalam indeks LQ45 Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2020–2024. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh langsung CSR dan likuiditas dalam meningkatkan kinerja keuangan perusahaan, serta melihat bagaimana tingkat pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial dan kemampuan perusahaan memenuhi kewajiban jangka pendeknya dapat berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan profitabilitas perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif kausal. Data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi laporan tahunan dan laporan keuangan perusahaan pertambangan yang terdaftar dalam indeks LQ45 Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2020–2024. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda untuk menguji pengaruh langsung variabel Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dan likuiditas terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan yang diukur menggunakan Return on Assets (ROA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dan likuiditas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan pertambangan. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial dan semakin baik kemampuan perusahaan dalam memenuhi kewajiban jangka pendeknya, maka semakin meningkat pula tingkat profitabilitas perusahaan.

Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by the low level of leadership and managerial skills among micro-business owners in Tarowang Village, Jeneponto Regency, which has limited their competitiveness and business sustainability. The primary objective of this program was to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in leadership and micro-business management through an applied and participatory training approach. The methods included presentations, group discussions, and practical simulations involving 30 micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) participants. Competent resource persons in the field of management delivered relevant and context-based materials tailored to participants’ needs. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of leadership and management concepts, as evidenced by pre- and post-training evaluations. Participant feedback reflected high satisfaction and motivation to apply newly acquired skills in their business operations. As a follow-up, additional training sessions on specific topics such as financial management and digital marketing are planned, along with the establishment of an MSME community network to support collaboration and program sustainability.ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan kepemimpinan dan keterampilan manajerial pelaku usaha mikro di Desa Tarowang, Kabupaten Jeneponto, yang berdampak pada terbatasnya daya saing dan keberlanjutan usaha mereka. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam aspek kepemimpinan serta manajemen usaha mikro melalui pelatihan yang aplikatif dan partisipatif. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup presentasi, diskusi kelompok, dan simulasi praktis dengan melibatkan 30 pelaku UMKM sebagai peserta. Narasumber yang kompeten di bidang manajemen memberikan materi yang relevan dan kontekstual sesuai kebutuhan peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta terhadap konsep kepemimpinan dan manajemen, yang tercermin dari hasil evaluasi sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Umpan balik peserta menunjukkan kepuasan tinggi serta motivasi untuk menerapkan keterampilan baru dalam kegiatan usaha mereka. Sebagai tindak lanjut, direncanakan pelatihan lanjutan pada topik spesifik seperti pengelolaan keuangan dan pemasaran digital, serta pembentukan komunitas pelaku UMKM untuk memperkuat jejaring dan keberlanjutan program pemberdayaan.

Abstract

Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisi gap penelitian antara kualitas kehidupan kerja dan burnout dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja. Metode. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tenaga kerja milenial yang ada di kota Makassar. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 100 responden dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode non-probability sampling. Teknik penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan analisis analissi regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 25. Hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas kehidupan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja, burnout berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja, serta kualitas kehidupan kerja dan burnout berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja. Implikasi. Generasi milenial lebih banyak menggunakan dan mendapatkan informasi melalui media sosial dengan memanfaatkan teknologi dan informasi. Selain itu, generasi ini melibatkan pikiran dan jiwa mereka dalam melakukan sebuah pekerjaan sehingga mereka tumbuh dengan adanya sebuah peningkatan akan pengakuan diri, bersifat sosial, dan memiliki ekspektasi yang tinggi terhadap diri mereka sendiri dan orang lain.

Abstract

This literature review delves into the multifaceted impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on employee performance across a variety of sectors, including technology, healthcare, finance, and manufacturing. As organizations increasingly adopt AI technologies, understanding their implications becomes crucial for optimizing workforce effectiveness. The review investigates how AI enhances productivity by automating routine tasks, thereby freeing employees to engage in more strategic and creative activities. Furthermore, it explores the role of AI in improving decision-making processes by providing real-time data analytics, which enables employees to make informed choices that drive organizational success. In addition to productivity and decision-making, the review addresses the influence of AI on job satisfaction. By alleviating mundane workloads, AI fosters a more engaging work environment, contributing to higher employee morale and retention rates. However, the review also highlights the challenges associated with AI integration, such as potential job displacement, the skills gap, and ethical concerns regarding bias and privacy. By synthesizing findings from recent studies, this review not only provides insights into the evolving relationship between AI and human workforce dynamics but also identifies key themes, trends, and gaps in the existing literature. Ultimately, it offers a comprehensive understanding of AI's role in shaping employee performance, laying the groundwork for future research and practical applications in organizational settings.

Abstract

Product innovation is a key driver of economic growth and corporate competitiveness. Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionising product innovation, influencing how products are developed, marketed and used. This study aims to map the research landscape on product innovation and AI through bibliometric analysis. Data are collected from scientific publication databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and Web of Science, covering publications from 2000 to 2023. Bibliometric analysis is performed using VOSviewer and Publish or Perish software to identify publication trends, author collaborations, research themes, and keywords. As for theoretical contribution, the results of the study show a significant increase in related publications, strong interdisciplinary collaboration, and dominant research themes such as the use of AI in product design, AI-based market analysis, and smart product development. As for managerial contribution, this study provides insights into the challenges and opportunities associated with the use of AI for product innovation, which can help companies make more informed decisions and drive innovation in various industrial sectors.
