Fruit flies (Bactrocera sp.) are the most common types of plant pests attacking fruit plants. The pest attacks the fruit in the plantation. The control of fruit flies is quite difficult, which is usually done by using eugenol. Fruit flies are insects that are sensitive to light with wavelengths of 300-650 nm. The light trap is a method commonly used yet it is rarely used to control the fruit flies. This research was conducted to determine the effect of the color variation in light traps on the number of trapped fruit flies. This study used quasi-experimental research methods. The data were analyzed descriptively and continued with one-way ANOVA statistical testing using SPSS 25.0. The results showed that the highest average number of fruit flies was in light traps with the addition of blue lights of 17.22. Post hoc tests showed that blue lights were more effective in attracting flies into light traps.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan keterampilan kerja sama peserta didik kelas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (RD) yang menggunakan model 4-D (four D model). Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MAN Yogyakarta III pada semester kedua tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi dan tes. Teknik observasi digunakan untuk mengetahui keterampilan kerja sama peserta didik. Aspek keterampilan kerja sama yang diteliti adalah bekerja produktif, tanggung jawab dan fleksibilitas. Tes digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada pokok bahasan Alat-Alat Optik sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik peningkatan gain, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji multivariate ( MANOVA). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa : Blog sebagai media dalam pembelajaran fisika dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan keterampilan kerja sama peserta didik.The Development of Blog as Media in Project-Based Learning AbstractThis study aims to: know the increase of student’s problem solving skills and teamwork skills. This study was aimed at determining the effect of applying pressure to changes in optical fiber output intensity, giving various kinds of filling gel on the connection to fiber optic output. The optical fiber used was Polymer Optical Fiber (POF) type SH-4001-1.3. This POF has a core refractive index of 1.49 and a cladding refractive index of 1.41. The gel was inserted between the optical fiber with a length of 1 cm in a small pipe, then given a variation of pressure so that it affected the intensity of the light. The optical power output from Polymer Optical Fiber was detected using Optical Power Meter (OPM). The light source used was the HeNe laser with a wavelength of 632.8 nm and an output power of 5 mW. The results show that the intensity of the optical fiber output light increases in line with the addition of pressure. Giving pressure on fiber optic joints using various types of gels show that the best light intensity output value was the yellow gel pen. The best sensitivity value on yellow pen gel at a distance of 0.5 cm with a gradient of (0.0035 ± 0.0028) dBm/cm. While the best linearity is in the type of clear pen gel with a distance of 0 cm which is equal to 0.99919.EFEK TEKANAN DAN JENIS GEL PENGISI SAMBUNGAN TERHADAP INTENSITAS KELUARAN PADA FIBER OPTIK PLASTIKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tekanan terhadap perubahan intensitas keluaran fiber optik, pemberian berbagai macam gel pengisian pada sambungan terhadap keluaran fiber optik. .Fiber optik yang digunakan adalah Polymer Optical Fiber (POF) tipe SH-4001-1.3. POF ini memiliki indeks bias core sebesar 1,49 dan indeks bias cladding sebesar 1,41. Gel disisipkan di antara fiber optik sepanjang 1 cm di dalam pipa kecil, kemudian diberi variasi tekanan sehingga mempengaruhi intensitas cahaya. Daya optik keluaran dari POF dideteksi menggunakan Optical Power Meter (OPM). Sumber cahaya yang digunakan adalah laser HeNe dengan panjang gelombang 632,8 nm dan daya keluaran 5 mW. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensitas cahaya keluaran fiber optik mengalami penaikan seiring dengan penambahan tekanan. Pemberian tekanan pada penyambungan fiber optik dengan menggunakan berbagai jenis gel menunjukkan bahwa gel yang memiliki nilai keluaran intensitas cahaya terbaik yaitu gel pulpen dengan warna gel kuning. Nilai sensitivitas terbaik pada gel pulpen dengan warna gel kuning pada jarak 0,5 cm dengan gradien sebesar (0,0035 ± 0,0028) dBm/cm. Sedangkan linearitas terbaik terdapat pada jenis gel pulpen dengan warna gel bening pada perlakuan dengan jarak 0 cm yaitu sebesar 0,99919

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan panduan praktikum fisika berbsis inkuiri untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir siswa sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran siswa SMA N Margabaru kelas X, ditinjau dari aspek kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, penyajian, dan kegrafikan, serta untuk mengetahui ketercapaian keterampilan berpikir siswa selama menggunakan panduan praktikum fisika berbsis inkuiri. Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R&D). Pengembangan dilakukan dengan mengacu pada model 4-D dengan tahapan Definition, Design, Development, dan Dissemination. Subjek coba pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri Margabaru sejumlah 46 orang dengan rincian: 10 siswa untuk uji kelompok kecil dan 36 siswa untuk uji lapangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner, tes (post-test), dan sebaran jawaban siswa. Masukan terhadap panduan praktikum hasil pengembangan pada tahap uji kelompok kecil digunakan untuk dasar perbaikan panduan praktikum pada uji coba tahap berikutnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa panduan praktikum fisika berbsis inkuiri yang dikembangkan di tinjau dari aspek kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, penyajian dan kegrafikan baik menurut ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru fisika secara umum dalam kategori baik. Penerapan panduan praktikum fisika berbsis inkuiri dalam pembelajaran secara umum terlaksana sangat baik. Respon siswa terhadap penggunaan panduan praktikum fisika berbasis inkuiri dalam kategori baik. Pembelajaran dengan panduan praktikum berbasis inkuiri yang dikembangkan dapat mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir siswa

Tempe packaging plays an important role to avoid contamination of microorganisms. Many studies have shown that the best packaging is banana leaves; compared to other wrappers such as plastic, paper and teak leaves. Of the various types of banana trees that grow in Indonesia, it is necessary to select the right leaves to produce an elastic wrapper so that it is not easily torn in order to support the optimization of tempe production itself. This research is an experimental study using linear regression analysis method, the relationship between the square of the oscillation period to the load mass and data collection for the determination of the modulus of elasticity of the material is carried out by using banana leaf oscillations with variations in the load mass which are videotaped and analyzed using tracker software. Furthermore, from the T2 to M data is carried out by linear regression and obtained a gradient value that will be used to determine the modulus of elasticity of banana leaves. It was obtained that the modulus of elasticity of banana leaves was E = 4.92 × 102 Nm-2 for young leaves, E = 8.59 × 102 Nm-2 for medium leaves, and E = 13.22 × 102 Nm-2 for old leaves with relative error of 11.6% or 0.116.

This study is aimed at: (1) creating Sasirangan Science Mobile (MLI Sasirangan) Learning product for junior high school students and (2) determining the feasibility level of MLI Sasirangan according to experts, practitioners, academics, and the response of students in limited trial test as users. The type of this research is research and development (R&D). Furthermore, the result of this research shows that: (1) Android-web-application-based MLI Sasirangan was created from Learning Management System (LMS) Moodle. The material was delivered by integrating the waste of typical South Kalimantan fabric making with the environmental pollution material and learned online; (2) based on the assessment result from media and material experts, this product obtained a value of 4.73 and 4.48 with a feasibility percentage of 94.6% and 89.56%. Meanwhile, the evaluation result from practitioners and peers, the values obtained were 4.45 and 4.64. Moreover, from the limited trial test, this product obtained a value of 4.47 with the percentage of feasibility is of 89.00%, 92.80% and 89.40% respectively. Therefore, it can be concluded that MLI Sasirangan which has been developed is considered feasible with very good criteria to be used as science learning media. The Pandemic COVID-19 has changed various aspects of human life today, especially in education. This requires all elements of education to adapt and continue the rest of the semester. The purpose of this study as a general review of learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses descriptive content analysis study method. The analysis was carried out on international, national articles and similar sources related to learning solutions during the pandemic. Online learning is an effective solution for activating classrooms even though schools have closed because time and place are at risk during this pandemic. However, this learning technique is important to be evaluated according to local conditions given the distribution of facilities and the ability of parents to provide different online learning facilities to students in Indonesia.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran fisika dengan kerja laboratorium ditinjau dari ketercapaian pemahaman konsep fisika, sikap disiplin dan tangung jawab siswa SMA. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri Megang Sakti, dengan sampel 2 kelas MIA, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan pengelajaran dengan menggunakan kerja laboratorium dan kelas kontrol dengan perlakuan penmbelajaran dengan demonstrasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan capaian pemahaman konsep fisika, sikap disiplin dan tangung jawab siswa antara pembelajaran dengan kerja laboratorium dan demonstrasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji gain, pembelajran fisika dengan kerja laboratorium lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan demonstrasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep fisika, sikap disiplin dan tangung jawab siswa SMA.

The spread of COVID-19 makes learning at every level of the education unit conducted from home online or distance learning. However, this is not an easy thing for teachers to do. Teachers are required to innovate in delivering materials so that students can easily understand and learn actively. Indonesia is an agricultural country where most of the population has a livelihood as farmers. As a form of contextual learning and alternative distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers can take advantage of rice farming activities in Indonesia, known as rice Tandur (reverse planting), as physical science teaching materials. Therefore, this research aims to explore the concept of physical science contained in rice Tandur activities to be used for physical science learning. This research is descriptive research to describe the idea of physical science in rice planting activities. Data collection was conducted by documentation of rice planting activities as well as literature studies. After the documentation is collected, the analysis uses Kinovea software to find out the center of gravity (COG) and the corners formed by the limbs. Based on the results of analysis and literature studies, the concept of physics was obtained in the form of a third-class lever arm that can be used for science materials in high school classes. In addition, there is a center of gravity and torque concept in the torso's movement, which can be used as a material for learning physics in high school.
