Abstract

Etnosains memanfaatkan lingkungan sebagai sumber kajian. Gelombang merupakan gejala yang dapat ditemui dengan mudah di lingkungan. Pemahaman tentang gejala gelombang memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam memahami karaktersistik bahan, terutama pada saat interaksi antara gelombang dengan materi. Karakteristik akustik berkaitan dengan interaksi materi dengan gelombang mekanik, terutama pada rentang panjang gelombang audible. Karakteristik optik diperlukan untuk memahami periaku gelombang elektromagnetik, terutama pada rentang panjang gelombang infra merah hingga ultraviolet, saat berinteraksi dengan materi.  Oleh karena itu diperlukan upaya agar gejala ini dapat dipahami dengan mudah. Media yang mudah diperoleh adalah program Excel.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the use of tracker applications on Kinetic Orbital Art (KOA) and magic gyroscope in physics learning. This study uses descriptive analysis methods. The accelerated value of earth's gravity in the kinetic circular motion of orbital art and magic gyroscopes aided analysis with tracker applications and Microsoft Excel programs. The results will be compared to get a graph of position relationships with time. From research conducted on the motion of KOA and magic gyroscope assisted tracker application obtained acceleration value is 9.44 m/s2 and 9.56 m/s2. The graph obtained from both objects is not referred to as parabolic motion on the KOA chart resembles a parabolic motion, while the motion of the magic gyroscope is referred to as circular motion. Thus, the use of tracker application on KOA and magic gyroscope can be recommended as a learning medium of Physics in schools

Abstract

In the process of learning physics, experiments are needed that can help someone in gaining a deeper understanding of learning physics concepts and using technology in the learning process, especially learning sound waves. In this study, the aim is to be able to analyze the sound frequency with the help of Audacity software. Subjects used are 5 different cat sounds. The implementation of this research uses several tools such as a microphone, Audacity software on a laptop, and 5 cat sounds. This experiment was carried out by bringing the micro hope closer to the cat with 5 cm so that the sound was captured by the microphone which would later be transferred to the laptop and read by the audacity software. Furthermore, the data recorded in audacity were analyzed. From the results of the study, it can be said that a tool that can be used in practicum and can read and capture sound waves is effectively used in analyzing sound frequency, spectrum in the application of sound learning so that it can be used as one of the learning media in practicum on sound wave material at Junior high school.

Abstract

Abstrak Telah dilakukan penumbuhan kristal bahan semikonduktor Cd(Se0,6Te0,4) dengan metode Bridgman. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui komposisi kimia, parameter kisi, struktur kristal dan morfologi kristal bahan semikonduktor Cd(Se0,6Te0,4). Pemanasan tahap pertama dari suhu 27°C>200°C>250°C>300°C masing-masing 1 jam, 400°C (2 jam), lalu furnace dimatikan hingga 27 °C (2,25 jam). Tahap kedua dilakukan16 jam kemudian, dimulai dari suhu 27°C>200°C>300°C masingmasing 30 menit, ke 400°C dan 500°C masing-masing 1 jam, 600°C (2 jam), furnace dimatikan hingga 27°C. Penelitian menggunakan 4 sampel, melalui kerakterisasi XRD dan penghitungan parameter kisi menggunakan metode analitik dipilih sampel 4 (Cd=0,362 gram, Se=0,858 gram dan Te=0,390 gram) untuk diuji karakterisasi menggunakan EDAX dan SEM. Hasil karakterisasi XRD sampel 4 menunjukkan telah terbentuk fase Cd(Se0,6Te0,4) terkristalisasi dalam struktur heksagonal, dengan parameter kisi a=b=4,2941Ǻ dan c=6,9975Ǻ. Setelah dilakukan analisis SEM dan EDAX menunjukkan massif yang dihasilkan cukup homogen dengan perbandingan mol Cd:Se:Te=1:0.70:0.40. Kata-kata kunci: Metode Bridgman, Struktur Kristal, Komposisi Kimia, Morfologi Permukaan Cd(Se0,6Te0,4) Abstract Has made crystal growing a semiconductor material Cd (Se0,6Te0,4) with Bridgman method. This study aims to determine the chemical composition, lattice parameters, crystal structure and morphology of crystalline semiconductor material Cd (Se0,6Te0,4). The first stage of the heating temperature of 27 ° C> 200 ° C> 250 ° C> 300 ° C respectively 1 hour, 400 ° C (2 hours), then the furnace was turned off to 27 ° C (2.25 hours). The second phase dilakukan16 hours later, starting from a temperature of 27 ° C> 200 ° C> 300 ° C each for 30 minutes, to 400 ° C and 500 ° C respectively 1 hour, 600 ° C (2 hours), the furnace was turned off up to 27 ° C.The study used four samples, through kerakterisasi XRD and calculation of lattice parameters using the analytical method selected sample 4 (Cd = 0.362 gram, Se and Te = 0.858 grams = 0.390 gram) to be tested using EDAX and SEM characterization. XRD characterization results have formed the sample 4 shows the phase Cd (Se0,6Te0,4) crystallizes in a hexagonal structure with lattice parameters a = b = c = 4,2941Ǻ and 6,9975Ǻ. After the analysis of SEM and EDAX showed massif produced quite homogenous with the mole ratio of Cd: Se: Te = 1: 0.70: 12:40. Abstract

Kegiatan PPM ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bekal bagi para guru IPA SMP dalam menyusun langkah-langkah konkret untuk  mengimplementasikan kurikulum 2013 dalam pembelajaran IPA SMP. Selain itu kegiatan PPM ini diharapkan dapat memberikan bekal bagi para guru IPA SMP dalam melakukan penyusunan perencanaan pembelajaran IPA terpadu sebagai implementasi kurikulum 2013. Pemecahan masalah tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan pelatihan yang meliputi berbagai langkah kegiatan, yaitu:  langkah pertama menyamakan persepsi dengan para guru sains tentang langkah-langkah dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum 2013 dalam pembelajaran IPA, langkah kedua menganalisis SK, KD dan indikator, dan langkah ketiga melakukan penyusunan perencanaan pembelajaran IPA terpadu sebagai implementasi kurikulum 2013. Sebagian guru pada awalnya masih kesulitan dalam menyusun langkah-langkah konkret untuk mengimplementasikan kurikulum 2013 dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu. Tetapi setelah ada kegiatan PPM, para guru mulai mampu menyusun langkah-langkah konkret untuk mengimplementasikan kurikulum 2013 dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu. Sebagian guru  belum memiliki ketrampilan yang memadai menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran IPA terpadu sebagai implementasi kurikulum 2013. Tetapi setelah ada kegiatan PPM, para guru mulai mampu menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran IPA terpadu sebagai implementasi kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

This research aims to produces a work assessment instruments for effective physics laboratory and is able to measure the attitude of discipline and responsibility of students. The methods used in this research is the research development (R&D) The subject of research used in this students of class X SMA N Margabaru, SMA N Megang Sakti, SMA YPBI 3 Tugumulyo. Processing of data in this study conducted in a qualitative descriptive. The results showed that (1) a workplace assessment instrument decent physics laboratory used to measure attitudes and responsibilities of students based on the results of the validation of the experts included in the category either (2) attitude of discipline students get average 86.2 included in katogori very well, while for the responsibility of the students getting an average 90.7 belong in the category. So a work assessment instrument physics laboratory to effectively measure student attitudes and responsibilities when implementing the activities of the physics laboratory.

Abstract

Educational technologies can help students learn more interest and help the student to understand abstract concepts in science to become concrete with visuals in the learning process. The new technology in education is Augmented Reality (AR), which also has an excellent potential to make the learning process more enjoyable, coloring and helping students understand abstract concepts. The use of AR in science education has recently caught the attention of researchers and allowed students to gain real-world experience. Therefore, this study’s concept is the paper review about AR research in science education. The review discusses the application in the science subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Also, this paper explains the advantages of AR technology in science education. The review also shows that AR in science education has great potential and benefits for adapting to science education and highlights AR's limitations for future research.

Abstract

Terdapat banyak model pembelajaran yang diterapkan untuk menganalisis kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah siswa. Namun, belum banyak model yang diintegrasikan dengan pembelajaran berbasis simulasi online untuk meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah siswa. Padahal, saat ini ada banyak website simulasi online yang diterbitkan oleh lembaga pendidikan atau universitas di tingkat internasional dan jarang digunakan dalam penelitian. Penelitian ini mengintegrasikan model pembelajaran inovatif dengan pembelajaran berbasis online simulation untuk meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah siswa. Website simulasi yang digunakan adalah Edu-media simulation. Dalam website ini ada banyak simulasi fisika yang disediakan, tetapi belum banyak penelitian yang menerapkan simulasi ini. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan kuasi eksperimen yang terdiri dari satu kelas eksperimen dengan sampel 25 siswa kelas XI MIA 3 di SMA N 1 Prambanan Yogyakarta. Argumentasi ilmiah siswa diukur melalui instrumen tes uraian. Data argumentasi ilmiah siswa dianalisis menggunakan paired sample t-test  dan pola argumentasi Toulmin (TAP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PBL berbantuan edu-media simulation dapat meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah siswa baik secara kuantitatif maupun kualitatif. Ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai t value -11.051 -1.711 bahwa terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata argumentasi pada pre-test (17) dan post-test (47). Dalam hal ini, siswa sudah mampu membuat klaim yang tegas dengan menyajikan bukti dan alasan yang mendukung klaim. Analyzing students’ scientific argumentation skill in optic: Problem-based learning assisted edu-media simulation AbstractThere are many learning models applied to analyze the ability of students' scientific argumentation. However, not many models have been integrated with online simulation-based learning to improve students' scientific argumentation skills. In fact, there are currently many online simulation websites published by educational institutions or international universities and rarely used in research. This research integrates innovative learning models with online simulation-based learning to improve students' scientific argumentation skills. The simulation website used is Edu-media simulation. In this website there are many physics simulations provided, but not many studies have applied this simulation. This research was conducted with a quasi-experimental consisting of one experimental class with a sample of 25 XI MIA 3 graders in Prambanan High School 1 Yogyakarta. Students' scientific arguments are measured through a description test instrument. Students' scientific argumentation data were analyzed using paired sample t-test and Toulmin argumentation patterns (TAP). The results showed that PBL assisted by edu-media simulation can improve students' scientific argumentation ability both quantitatively and qualitatively. This is indicated by the value of t value -11.051 -1.711 that there are differences in the average value of argumentation in the pre-test (17) and post-test (47). In this case, students have been able to make assertive claims by presenting evidence and reasons that support the claim.

Abstract

One of the phenomena of gourami fish is the jumping motion. In analyzing the fish motion, errors are often experienced in observations, tend to be subjective or take a long time. An alternative software to analyze the fish motion is the Tracker software. The study aims to analyze the video of the Gourami fish motion phenomenon using Tracker software in the mechanical energy conservation practicum. This type of research is experimental research. Based on the results, the greater the mass of the fish indicates the greater the kinetic energy and potential energy in the motion of the fish. Kinetic energy depends on the mass and speed of the Gourami fish jumping. While the potential energy depends on the height of the Gourami fish when jumping. It is also affected by the fish's mass and the acceleration of gravity. The video analysis of the motion of the jumping gourami using Tracker can be used in science learning, especially in physics practicum about the law of conservation of mechanical energy

Abstract

that plays an important role in the movement of people, not only in the movement of people but in distributing goods. The train is called the safest mode of transportation because it has its own track. However, there are several obstacles that obstruct train operations, which is natural disasters. In June 2022 there was a landslide on the Km. 63+100 up to Km. 63+200 between Doplang Station and Randublatung Station, Daop 4 Semarang. One of the causes of landslides is scouring at river bends. In the outer bend area of ??the river where the flow velocity is relatively high, erosion occurs which erodes the river body. Therefore, with the help of ArcGIS 10.5 software, the catchment area is 112.876 km2 ­ (calculated), which is one of the parameters to calculate the amount of flood discharge. By using the Nakayasu method, the 25 years return period flood discharge at the problem area is 353.3 m3/s.
