Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Bagaimana pemaknaan masyarakat Kecamatan Bangkala Kabupaten Jeneponto mengenai pentingnya uang panai’ dalam adat pernikahan. (2) Bagaimana kaitan antara status sosial dan uang panai’ bagi pihak keluarga perempuan. (3) Bagaimana kaitan antara status sosial dan uang panai’ bagi pihak keluarga laki-laki. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari melalui beberapa tahap yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan beberapa informan sesuai dengan kriteria yang dibutuhkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan : (1) Masyarakat Kecamatan Bangkala mempunyai pandangan uang panai’ ditentukan melalui status sosial dan juga faktor budaya, sosial dan ekonomi dapat mempengaruhi pemberian uang panai.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami tentang Pabbbicara dalam proses pelamaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Lapangan yang bersifat kualitatif kemudian dipaparkan secara deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dengan melakukan observasi di lokasi penelitian dan wawancara dengan beberapa informan dan dilengkapi dengan dokumen yang diperoleh dari instansi setempat dan dokumentasi berupa foto yang di ambil oleh peneliti ketika turun kelapangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1)Pabbicara dalam prosesi lamaran pada Suku Bugis di Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Kabupaten Bone yakni penyambung lidah antara kedua pihak keluarga serta berdasarkan kebutuhan dasar masyarakat akan aspek budaya, sosial dan komunikatif. (2) Proses penyampaian lamaran oleh pabbicara dilakukan pada tahap madduta oleh, penyampaian lamaran melibatkan pabbicara kedua belah pihak mempelai yang ini menciptakan momen krusial yang mencerminkan komitmen dan keseriusan terhadap pernikahan.(3)Makna penggunaan pabbicara bukan hanya sebagai penyampai pesan, melainkan juga sebagai simbol keberlanjutan budaya dan sarana untuk menjaga hubungan sosial yang erat dalam masyarakat Bugis di Kecamatan Tanete Riattang, Kabupaten Bone.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perencanaan kinerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai dan pengaruh perencanaan kinerja dan motivasi kerja secara simultan terhadap kinerja pegawai di KPRI UNM. Metode Penelitian: Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai KPRI UNM, sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh sehingga sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 33 pegawai. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis persentase deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, uji instrumen, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan kinerja secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan tingkat signifikan <0,05 dan motivasi kerja secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan tingkat signifikan <0,05. Perencanaan kinerja dan motivasi kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan tingkat signifikan < 0,05. Selain itu, koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,532 (53,2%). Artinya pengaruh perencanaan kinerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai KPRI UNM sebesar 53,2% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 46,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Menganalisis bagaimana cara untuk mempertahankan tradisi adat kalomba digenerasi muda saat ini di Kecamatan Herlang Kabupaten Bulukumba. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 7 orang yang ditemukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan narasumber, baik yang melakukan kalomba dan yang tidak melakukan kalomba. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kebudayaan merupakan warisan penting yang mencerminkan identitas suatu bangsa. Namun, dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi dan modernisasi, banyak tradisi kebudayaan yang mulai terlupakan, terutama di kalangan anak muda. Penting bagi generasi muda untuk aktif menjaga dan melestarikan tradisi kebudayaan.  Tradisi kalomba dilakukan dengan pesta adat, maka dapat dipastikan bahwa agar terlaksana dengan baik memerlukan keterlibatan dari berbagai unsur, dari berbagai pemeran dalam pelaksanaan tradisi kalomba dapat diklasifikasikan dalam 3 kelompok pemeran yaitu ; 1) pemeran utama adalah keluarga inti atau orang tua yang menyelenggarakan pesta kalomba, termasuk anaknya yang menjalani prosesi adat kalomba , 2) pemeran pendukung adalah sanro (dukun) yang memimpin pelaksanaan prosesi adat kalomba, dan 3) tamu undangan yang menghadiri acara adat kalomba.This study aims to analyze how to maintain the kalimba tradition among the current young generation in Herlang District, Bulukumba Regency. The method used in this study is qualitative, with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. The number of respondents in this study was 7 people who were found using purposive sampling techniques with informants, both those who perform kalimba and those who do not perform kalimba. The results of the study show that culture is an important heritage that reflects the identity of a nation. However, with the rapid development of technology and modernization, many cultural traditions are starting to be forgotten, especially among young people. It is important for the younger generation to actively maintain and preserve cultural traditions. The kalimba tradition is carried out with a traditional party, so it can be ensured that in order to be carried out properly it requires the involvement of various elements, from various actors in the implementation of the kalimba tradition can be classified into 3 groups of actors, namely; 1) The main actors are the nuclear family or parents who organize the kalimba party, including their children who undergo the kalimba traditional procession, 2) the supporting actors are the sanro (shaman) who leads the implementation of the kalimba traditional procession, and 3) the invited guests who attend the kalimba traditional event.

Abstract

Character education is a crucial pillar in shaping a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent but also socially sensitive and caring towards others. However, in practice, the instilling of character values in elementary schools is often theoretical and not fully internalized by students in their daily lives. This study aims to explore how learning based on the local wisdom of the Mandar tribe can foster social awareness in elementary school students. The study was conducted in three elementary schools in Polewali Mandar Regency, involving nine informants, consisting of teachers, principals, and students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observation of learning activities, and then analyzed thematically. The study's results reveal three key findings. First, Mandar cultural values such as Siwaliparri (mutual cooperation), Metawe (mutual respect), Mepuang (hospitality and empathy), and Metabe (shared responsibility) are applied through contextual learning activities based on student experiences. Second, teachers act as value facilitators, connecting the learning process with social practices and daily role models. Third, the internalization of these cultural values has a tangible impact on students' social awareness, as evidenced by the increase in mutual assistance, politeness, empathy, and responsibility within the school environment. These findings confirm that local wisdom-based learning has the transformative power to naturally foster children's social character. Further studies can be conducted to explore the application of cultural values from other regions as an effort to strengthen character education and the Pancasila Student Profile, which is rooted in the nation's culture.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Pancasila values through extracurricular activities at SMPN 1 Tinambung and to identify the challenges and opportunities associated with its implementation. The research approach employed is a descriptive qualitative one, utilizing data collection methods that include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of four extracurricular advisors and three students who were selected purposively. Data validity was obtained through member checking and source triangulation techniques. The results showed that extracurricular activities at SMPN 1 Tinambung played an important role in internalizing Pancasila values among students. Values such as mutual cooperation, tolerance, deliberation, responsibility, humanity, and social justice were applied through student council activities, scouting, PMR (Youth Red Cross), and various school social activities. This implementation helps shape students' character to be disciplined, caring, and leadership-minded. However, the application of Pancasila values still faces several challenges, including limited resources, a lack of in-depth understanding among extracurricular advisors, and differences in students' levels of awareness and participation. This study also identified significant opportunities to enhance the internalization of Pancasila values by strengthening character-based extracurricular programs, utilizing digital technology as an educational medium, and fostering increased collaboration among schools, parents, and the community. The results of this study are expected to form the basis for the development of character education policies and strategies in secondary schools, so that Pancasila values are not only understood cognitively but also internalized and practiced in students' real lives.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the school environment on student learning motivation at SDN A Makassar. The focus of this study is to determine how the physical condition of the school environment, social atmosphere, and emotional support from teachers and peers contribute to increasing student learning motivation. The method used is qualitative interviews with students and teachers at the school. The results indicate that physical facilities, including comfortable classrooms, adequate learning materials, and spacious sports fields, have a positive impact on students' comfort and motivation in learning. Additionally, a positive social atmosphere, characterized by good relationships between teachers and students, as well as among peers, plays a crucial role in enhancing student motivation to learn. However, issues related to classroom cleanliness and facility maintenance are still factors that hinder student comfort. This study suggests that schools should improve physical facilities, enhance classroom cleanliness, strengthen social relationships between students and teachers, and increase parental involvement in the learning process. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for developing a school environment that is more conducive to student learning motivation.
