Abstract

The Qur'an uses stories as a medium to convey moral messages for the creation of a virtuous human community. Scholars, such as Wahbah Zuhaylī, interpret these stories and derive various lessons and wisdom from them. In his exegesis al-Munīr, Zuhaylī discusses the "fiqh al-hayah" or lessons that can be learned from the interpreted verses. As a result, this article explores the deeper wisdom within the story of Prophet Sulaiman and the hoopoe bird, regarding Zuhaili's al-Munīr exegesis. This research utilizes a library research approach and a descriptive-analytical method. The findings indicate that the story of Prophet Sulaiman and the hoopoe bird offers wisdom on leadership values, interpersonal relationships, wisdom, honesty, and humility in acknowledging the knowledge provided by Allah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah model pembelajaran sastra yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran sastra yang dikembangkan kepada siswa. Data motivasi belajar siswa dikumpulkan sebelum dan setelah penerapan model, dan hasilnya dianalisis untuk menilai efektivitas model tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam motivasi belajar siswa setelah penerapan model pembelajaran sastra serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keberhasilan model pembelajaran sastra. Simpulannya adalah bahwa pengembangan model pembelajaran sastra efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Sastra, Motivasi Belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penggunaan diferensiasi produk sebagai asesmen alternatif bagi siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group, di mana dua kelompok siswa diberikan perlakuan berbeda dalam pembelajaran, yaitu kelompok kontrol yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional dan kelompok eksperimen yang mengalami pembelajaran dengan diferensiasi produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan diferensiasi produk dalam asesmen mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi Bahasa Indonesia secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa diferensiasi produk dapat menjadi alternatif asesmen yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia bagi siswa. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh media sosial TikTok dan Facebook terhadap kemunduran etika berbahasa dan perubahan karakter pada anak remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif untuk mengumpulkan data dari sejumlah responden siswa yang aktif menggunakan media sosial TikTok dan Facebook. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis secara tematis untuk mengidentifikasi pola perilaku dan perubahan karakter yang terjadi pada anak remaja seiring dengan penggunaan media sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial TikTok dan Facebook memiliki dampak yang signifikan pada etika berbahasa dan karakter anak remaja. Ditemukan bahwa beberapa responden cenderung menggunakan bahasa yang kurang sopan atau informal di platform media sosial, yang menunjukkan kemunduran dalam etika berbahasa. Selain itu, penggunaan media sosial juga mempengaruhi perubahan karakter dengan adanya peningkatan terhadap perilaku yang mengikuti trend atau opini publik tanpa pertimbangan yang matang. Simpulannya adalah penggunaan media sosial TikTok dan Facebook berdampak negatif pada etika berbahasa dan karakter anak remaja, ditandai dengan perilaku dan bahasa kurang sopan. Abstract

Imam al-Biqāʻī is one of the most prominent Quranic commentators who took care of the objectives of Quranic chapters and became the first scholar to draw attention to this science. Benefited from the science of the Quranic munāsabah, al-Biqāʻī analysed the objectives of the Quranic chapters in his books Naẓm al-Durar fī Tanāsub al-Āyāt wa al-Suwar and Maѕāʻid al-Naẓr li al-Ishrāf ‘alā Maqāѕīd al-Suwar. Therefore, the nature of this paper requires that the researchers rely on the inductive method to reach the views of scholars and Quranic commentators, especially that of al-Biqāʻī on the topic, to prove the approach of al-Biqāʻī in the purposes of the sūrah. The authors argue that relying on the sciences of the Quranic tanāsub and siyāq, al-Biqāʻī concluded that revealing monotheism is the ultimate goal of most of the Quranic chapters.[Imam al-Biqāʻī salah satu tokoh tafsir terpenting yang berkontribusi dalam Ilmu Maqāṣid ṣ al-Suwar al-Qur’āniyyah, bahkan beliau di garda terdepan dalam ilmu ini sebagai perintisnya. Dengan mendalami ilmu Munāsabah al-Quran, beliau menganalisis dan menentukan tujuan surat-surat al-Qur’an sebagaimana tergambar dalam kitabnya yang berjudul Naẓm al-Durar fī Tanāsub al-Āyāt wa al-Suwar dan Maṣāʻid al-Naẓr li al-Ishrāf ʻalā Maqāṣid al-Suwar. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan induktif untuk mengumpulkan pendapat para ulama dan para ahli tafsir, khususnya pendapat al-Biqāʻī, terkait disiplin ilmu tersebut untuk menelisik karakteristik pendekatan al-Biqāʻī dalam menentukan tujuan dari surat al-Quran. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa menurut al-Biqāʻī, tauhid adalah tujuan tertinggi di sebagian besar surat al-Quran. Pandangan al-Biqāʻī ini dia dapatkan melalui dua ilmu yang menjadi referensinya, yaitu ilmu al-Tanāsub dan al-Siyāq].

Abstract

Attention which is achieved through the process of adapting to new conditions and information can be an issue for new students. Previous studies have suggested that listening to Quran recitation (murattal) can positively influence attention. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the effects of listening to Quran recitation on students’ attention. The research was conducted by designing a quasi-experiment with a non-randomized pre-test and post-test control groups. Besides this, the groups were divided into two, the experimental group and the control group. The data were collected from 20 new students of Ar-Raniry State Islamic University as a sample, who met the criteria of having healthy hearing conditions and obtained GPA > 3.50. The measuring instrument utilized in the study was the number range test of Weschler Intelligence Scale, while the treatment used was listening to Quran recitation. Then, the data was analyzed using a paired t-test to examine the difference in attention between the experimental group and the control group. The results showed that there was a difference in the average attention score between the experimental group of 11.70, and the control group of 8.80 with a significance level of 0.026 (P < 0,05). Thus, the findings of the study indicate that there is a significant difference in attention between the experimental group and the control group after listening to Quran recitation.

Abstract

Bank Interest Scheme According to Abdullah Saeed's Hermeneutics (Examination of Ribā Verses)Abdullah Saeed is famous person because his thoughts on contextual interpretation, his journals is frequently awaited by academics. He is still alive today, his thoughts on the interpretation of the Quran are also quite easy to understand. This study  is a library research with using a hermeneutic approach for examining the bank interest scheme intended by Abdullah Saeed. The most of the data in this study used from Abdullah Saeed’s books and journals and also several other references is research about interpretation contextualist of Abdullah Saeed. According to Abdullah Saeed, the verses of the Quran that different from currently concept of bank interest now. Bank interest which mean clearly forbidden is the presence of elements of oppression and harming other. It is absolutely different from bank interest, are creditors at bank are mostly those who can afford and have agreed to pay more voluntarily. This makes bank interest not include usury as the Quran’s explaining. The thoughts of Abdullah Saeed are based on the concept of revelation that he coined, that Allah's revelation will not increase Rasulullah has died, but the reasoning from these revelation must till develop according to the needs of the times

Abstract

The magmatic arc of Sumatra Island, which is indicated by the presence of the Barisan Mountains zone on the west side of Sumatra Island with a general direction northwest - southeast, makes Mount Masurai, which is administratively in Merangin Regency, Jambi Province, become one of the volcanoes on Sumatra Island. Geographically, the peak of Mount Masurai is located at coordinates 101o 51' 28.60" E and 2o 30' 09.19" S with an elevation 2915 masl. The eruption period of Mount Masurai is estimated to have occurred twice during the eruption period. Based on the lack of information about volcanoes, this research was conducted to determine the characteristic and distribution of pyroclastics from Mount Masurai. In the area around Mount Masurai, remnants of volcanic eruptions were found, in the form of pyroclastic flows and falls. From data collection based on the results of geological mapping and petrographic analysis, pyroclastic rocks were found in the area around Mount Masurai with lithology in the form of Andesite Breccia, Laharic Breccia Pumice Breccia, Lapilli stone and Tuff. This is reinforced by the results of petrographic analysis of rock samples which are dominated by the presence of a glass

Abstract

This research deals with a preliminary study for hearing and obedience in the Islam. This research aims to explain the concept hearing and obedience and report the importance of hearing and obedience and types of hearing and obedience. Then discover the effects of hearing and obedience both individually and collectively. And summarizes that the word of hearing in the Quran is still followed to obedience. Hearing and obedience to Allah r and the Messenger of Allāh r is absolute. As for hearing and obedience to guardians, parents, the husband and others, they are restricted to what was known in the Sharia, that is, if they agree to the truth and what they violate, meaning as long as they are not commanded to disobey Allāh, because there is no obedience to a created being in disobedience to the Creator. He who is characterized by this quality has fully enjoyed this life and the hereafter.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan literasi numerasi mengenai materi diagram batang, diagram garis, dan diagram lingkaran dalam pembelajaran matematika pada siswa kelas V di UPT SPF SD Negeri Mongisidi II, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menghambat kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa dalam memahami materi tersebut; dan mengetahui penanganan yang diterapkan untuk mengatasi masalah kemampuan literasi numerasi pada materi diagram batang, diagram garis, dan diagram lingkaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 6 siswa kelas V di SD Negeri Mongisidi II Makassar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan langkah-langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas data diperiksa dengan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa sudah memahami materi diagram batang, diagram garis, dan diagram lingkaran. Namun, terdapat beberapa faktor yang menghambat kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa, seperti kesulitan dalam menerjemahkan soal bacaan ke dalam diagram, serta kebingungan dalam menentukan data yang dibagi sama besar berdasarkan nilai data. Ketika data yang disajikan banyak, siswa sering merasa bingung dalam membagi data dengan tepat. Oleh karena itu, siswa perlu fokus dan teliti agar dapat memahami materi dengan lebih baik. This study aims to: (1) determine the numeracy literacy skills related to bar charts, line charts, and pie charts in mathematics learning for grade V students at UPT SPF SD Negeri Mongisidi II; (2) identify the factors that hinder students' numeracy literacy skills in understanding these topics; and (3) examine the strategies applied to address issues in numeracy literacy regarding bar charts, line charts, and pie charts. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The subjects of this study were 6 grade V students from SD Negeri Mongisidi II Makassar. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing steps. Data validity was verified through triangulation of techniques and sources. The results show that students have a basic understanding of bar charts, line charts, and pie charts. However, several factors hinder their numeracy literacy, such as difficulties in translating reading problems into charts, and confusion in determining how to divide data equally based on its value. When large datasets are presented, students often find it challenging to divide the data correctly. Therefore, students need to focus and be more careful to better comprehend the material.
