Abstract

This study aims to Develop monitu (Monopoly Waktu) learning media that can improve the understanding of the concept of time operations for second-grade elementary school student. This study uses the Research and Development(R&D) met met with the ADDIE model consisten of five stages: analysis,Disign, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The research subjects were second-grade student of SDN 060796 Medan area Selatan and involved material experts, media experts, and teachers. The reseaech instrument included validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and a concept understanding test. The results showed that monitu media has a very good level of validity, is effective in improving concept understanding, and is practical for use in mathematics learning. This media Makes learning more fun, interactive, and contextual so that it can increase learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate an alternative design for learning the concept of flat-sided wake-up space against the background of didactic situations and learning obstacles experienced by students. This type of research is a DDR (Didactical Design Research) research. The didactic design was developed through three stages, namely: first, compiling an initial design based on student barriers that had previously been identified, secondly analyzing metapedadydactics carried out during learning, and thirdly, retrospective analysis carried out by identifying learning obstacles and compiling learning designs. This research was conducted at Mts Al Washliyah Tanjung Morawa class VIII with 35 students. The results of this study indicate that there are several learning obstacles that occur to students, namely errors in the concept of flat side space, errors in multiplication, and also errors in answering questions whose context is different from the example questions given. Based on the identification results that have been analyzed, one of the alternative solutions is to develop alternative solutions to the concept of flat side space in order to minimize barriers to learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the inquiry learning model on students’ learning outcomes in IPAS on the topic of eclipses in Grade VI at SD Negeri 060900 Tapian Nauli. This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method to examine the impact of a specific instructional treatment on one group compared to another group that received a different treatment. The research design used was the Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The population of this study consisted of all Grade VI students at SD Negeri 060900 Tapian Nauli, totaling 52 students. The sample in this study consisted of students from classes VI-A and VI-B who were selected using purposive sampling. The findings indicated that the inquiry learning model had a positive effect on students’ learning outcomes related to eclipses. Students in the experimental group who were taught using the inquiry learning model achieved higher posttest scores than those in the control group who were taught using the conventional (lecture-based) method. Furthermore, the significance value obtained from the Independent Samples t-test was less than 0.05, indicating that H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. Therefore, it was concluded that the inquiry learning model had a significant effect on the IPAS learning outcomes of Grade VI students at SD Negeri 060900 Tapian Nauli.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of contextual approach-based mathematics electronic modules on students' self-efficacy and problem-solving skills. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method with a quantitative approach, the study involved 142 junior high school students. The electronic module was developed using Kvisoft Flipbook Maker with modified Dick, Carey, and Carey development models. The research instruments included a test of problem-solving ability, a self-efficacy scale, and a student response questionnaire. The validation results show that the quality of the electronic module is very good with an average score above 4.2 out of 5. Statistical analysis revealed a significant increase in students' self-efficacy (p=0.001) with an average score of 82.4 in the experimental group compared to 72.8 in the control group. Mathematical problem-solving ability also experienced a very significant increase (p=0.000) with an average score of 82.7 compared to 74.2 in the control group. The research proves the effectiveness of contextual-based electronic modules in improving students' self-efficacy and mathematical problem-solving abilities through interactive design, contextual approaches, and cognitive scaffolding.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of students in multiplication material in grade IV UPT SPF SDN 106828 Sumberejo, where 60% of students obtained scores below the KKM (70). Conventional mathematics learning and the lack of interesting learning media cause students to experience difficulties in understanding multiplication concepts and memorizing multiplication tables. The purpose of this study is to develop a valid, practical, and effective Android-based Mathchess learning media to overcome the multiplication problems of grade IV students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were 26 grade IV students of UPT SPF SDN 106828 Sumberejo. Data collection techniques used expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively to determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the learning media. The results of a field trial involving 26 fourth-grade students of UPT SPF SDN 106828 Sumberejo showed the effectiveness of Mathchess media in improving students' multiplication skills. The trial data showed that students experienced a significant increase in mastery of multiplication material. A total of six students achieved the highest score of 87-90 with the ability to master multiplication up to number 9, ten students obtained a score of 80-86 with mastery of multiplication up to number 7, five students with a score of 77 were able to master multiplication up to number 6, and five students with a score of 70 mastered multiplication up to number 5. The average overall score of students reached 79.54, Based on the results of research and discussion on the development of Android-based Mathchess media to overcome the multiplication problems of fourth-grade students of UPT SPF SDN 106828 Sumberejo. The Mathchess learning media was declared valid and suitable for use based on validation results from material experts (81% - suitable), media experts (62% - suitable), and education practitioners (56.25% - quite suitable), with an average suitability of 66.42%. Abstract

This research was conducted at SD IT Perguruan Baiti Jannati on students in grade IV consisting of 7 students with 5 academically gifted students and 2 non-academic gifted students. In grade V students also consisted of 7 students with 5 academically gifted students, 1 non-academic gifted student and 1 academically and non-academic gifted student at SD IT Baiti Jannati with the aim of analyzing the learning styles of gifted students both in academic and non-academic fields. Data were obtained through questionnaires, observations, and interviews with students and teachers. Data were analyzed using a qualitative approach with a data reduction model, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research conducted at SD IT Perguruan Baiti Jannati showed that the dominant learning style in grade IV is visual, because students prefer to learn by reading, writing, and viewing displays such as in games. The most dominant learning style in grade V is visual and kinesthetic, because students find it easier to understand material through direct activities, practice, play, and using aids. In addition, it was found that gifted students both academically and non-academically show uniqueness in the way they absorb information

Abstract

Serabi merupakan jajanan pasar tradisional khas Jawa yang tetap bertahan di tengah modernisasi kuliner. Selain memiliki nilai budaya dan kearifan lokal, serabi berpotensi dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran kontekstual di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan serabi sebagai jajanan pasar tradisional serta menganalisis potensinya sebagai media pembelajaran geometri di sekolah dasar berbasis pendekatan kontekstual dan etnomatematika. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Objek penelitian adalah serabi yang dikaji dari aspek bentuk geometris, bahan penyusun, proses pembuatan, serta nilai budaya yang terkandung di dalamnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa serabi memiliki bentuk lingkaran yang dapat digunakan untuk mengenalkan konsep jari- jari, diameter, keliling, dan luas lingkaran secara konkret. Integrasi serabi dalam pembelajaran membantu siswa memahami konsep abstrak melalui pengalaman nyata. Selain itu, serabi mengandung nilai kesederhanaan, kebersamaan, dan pelestarian tradisi yang relevan dengan pendidikan karakter. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa makanan tradisional dapat diintegrasikan sebagai media pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis kearifan lokal untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep geometri sekaligus menanamkan nilai budaya kepada siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Bangun datar adalah bentuk geometri dua dimensi yang memiliki panjang dan lebar tetapi tidak memiliki tinggi atau ketebalan bangun datar hanya memiliki luas dan keliling serta terletak pada satu bidang datar. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis cara berpikir siswa sekolah dasar dalam mengklasifikasikan bangun datar berdasarkan sifat-sifat geometrisnya fokus penelitian diarahkan pada kemampuan siswa dalam mengenali dan membedakan ciri-ciri bangun datar seperti jumlah sisi panjang sisi besar sudut serta kesebangunan dan kesimetrian penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 4 sekolah dasar teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara dan observasi terhadap siswa kelas 4 SD. temuan menunjukkan terlihat sebagian siswa masih mengklasifikasikan bangun datar berdasarkan bentuk tampak secara visual bukan berdasarkan sifat-sifat geometris seperti jumlah sisi besar sudut dan panjang sisi namun ada sebagian siswa sudah mampu menggunakan sifat-sifat tersebut secara tepat dalam proses pengelompokan menunjukkan bahwa Pemahaman konsep geometri mahasiswa masih perlu diperkuat Melalui pembelajaran yang lebih kontekstual dan penggunaan media konkret.

Abstract

Computational thinking is a way of understanding and solving complex problems using computer science techniques and concepts such as demonstration, pattern recognition, abstraction and algorithms and is seen by many experts as one of the abilities that supports many dimensions of education. This research aims to produce valid and practical learning tools and to measure Computational Thinking in fractional material in class IV of SD Negeri 060911. To evaluate students' computational thinking abilities in fractional material in class IV of SD Negeri 060911. In this research qualitative research methods will be used. with the type of Research and Development (R&D) research. Data collection methods include observation, interviews. The validity of learning tools is tested through validation of teaching modules by material experts and learning method experts, as well as validation of LKPD by material experts. Based on the validation results, the teaching module obtained a score of 80%, which indicates the "Very Appropriate" category. The learning tools developed and implemented consist of teaching modules and Student Worksheets (LKPD). The average pre-test score before using the device was 53.85, while the average post-test score after using the device increased to 81.35. Based on the results of development research, it can be concluded that based on the validation results, the teaching module received the "Very Appropriate" category. The practicality of learning tools is assessed from student and teacher responses after implementation. Data shows that learning tools have a positive influence on students' computational thinking abilities. Meanwhile, the student response questionnaire showed a feasibility score of 78.24%. The average pre-test score before using the device was 53.85 while the average post-test score after using the device increased to 81.35.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning assisted by ChatGPT in improving students' mathematical critical thinking and mathematical resilience. The study employed a quantitative quasi-experimental design using a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group involving three intact seventh-grade classes at UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Buntu Pane in the 2025/2026 academic year. The sample consisted of 65 students selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected using a four-item essay test of mathematical critical thinking and a 20-item mathematical resilience questionnaire. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, normalized gain, assumption tests, one-way ANOVA, post hoc comparison, and two-way analysis at a 5% significance level. The results indicate significant differences among the three learning models in mathematical critical thinking and resilience. PBL assisted by ChatGPT produced the highest normalized gain for critical thinking (0.584) and resilience (0.746). Post hoc analysis showed that PBL assisted by ChatGPT and ordinary PBL did not differ significantly in critical thinking, but PBL assisted by ChatGPT was significantly superior in mathematical resilience. These findings suggest that the pedagogical strength of PBL lies in promoting critical reasoning, whereas ChatGPT contributes additional value by providing adaptive scaffolding that supports students' confidence, persistence, and willingness to re-engage with mathematical challenges.
