Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the MIKiR and Drill learning models on the argumentation skills of students at MTs Hifzil Qur'an Medan. This research used a quantitative approach with a posttest-only design. The population consisted of 216 students categorized into high, medium, and low Mathematical Initial Ability (MIA) groups. Using a non-probability sampling technique, the sample size totaled 110 students, with 34 students in the conventional group, 39 students in the MIKiR group, and 37 students in the Drill group. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, following prerequisite testing with a two-way ANOVA test. The results showed that both the MIKiR and Drill learning models had a significant effect in improving the argumentation skills of MTs Hifzil Qur'an Medan students, with the average scores of the MIKiR group (79.10) and the Drill group (79.46) being higher than those of the conventional group (73.38).

Abstract

In rapid national development, persons with disabilities (PWD) are often lack behind due to lack of policy undertaking that accommodate their limitations and enabling their capacities and strengths. CBR model has been developed by WHO to empower PWD so that they are enabled to participate and contribute in their community as a equel members of the society. This study is reported as a lessons learned from two inclusive disability-based NGO in the districts of Cirebon and Tegal-Slawi. Leaders were funded by Leprosy Research Institute to identify sustained Community Based Organizations (CBOs) in Java and to learn the implementation of CBR principles and inclusive practices. Their journey found only some evidence of CBOs that adopt and implement CBR principles. The lessons learned are used to direct the future development of their respective organizations.

Abstract

Coloring vertices on graph is one of the topics of discrete mathematics that are still developing until now. Exploration Coloring vertices develops in the form of a game known as a coloring game. Let G graph. The smallest number k such that the graph G can be colored in a coloring game is called game chromatic number. Notated as χ_g (G). The main objective of this research is to prove game chromatic numbers from graphsThis study examines and proves game chromatic numbers from graphs shack(K_n,v_i,t),shack(S_n,v_i,t), and shack(K_(n,n),v_i,t). The research method used in this research is qualitative. The result show that χ_g (shack(K_n,v_i,t))=n,and χ_g (shack(S_n,v_i,t))=χ_g (shack(K_(n,n),v_i,t))=3.  The game chromatic number of the shackle graph depends on the subgraph and linkage vertices. Therefore, it is necessary to make sure the vertex linkage is colored first.

Abstract

This systematic literature review examines the relationship between leadership styles and employee work-life balance (WLB). Following the PRISMA protocol, data were collected from four academic databases (Publish or Perish/Google Scholar, Scopus, Emerald Insight) using the PICO framework. From an initial pool of 296 articles, 31 studies met the inclusion criteria for analysis. The findings consistently demonstrate that transformational leadership exerts a significant positive influence on WLB by fostering a supportive work environment, providing psychological resources, and promoting flexible work arrangements. Supportive and authentic leadership styles also show positive correlations, while authoritarian leadership is consistently detrimental. The review identifies perceived organizational support and flexible work policies as key mediating factors. The results underscore that effective, people-oriented leadership is crucial for cultivating organizational cultures that support employee well-being and sustainable work-life integration. Organizations are advised to develop leadership training programs that focus on empathy, flexibility, and empowerment. This study contributes to the literature by synthesizing evidence across diverse contexts and suggests that future research should explore causal relationships and the moderating role of cultural and organizational variables.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on low student learning outcomes, a lack of interest in learning, and the continued use of conventional methods in mathematics instruction. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by Math Chess media in improving mathematics learning outcomes for Phase B students at Taman siswa Galang Private Elementary School. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection instruments included observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The research results show an improvement in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. The implementation of the TGT model combined with Math Chess media has proven capable of creating a fun, interactive, and competitive learning environment, making students more active, enthusiastic, and able to easily understand multiplication concepts. In conclusion, the TGT learning model assisted by Mathchess media is effective in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes on multiplication material in class III at the Private Elementary School Taman siswa Galang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze junior high school students' mathematical proof abilities in Pythagoras' theorem in terms of resilience and cognitive style. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects consist of six eighth-grade students selected based on high, moderate, and low categories in the mathematical proof ability test, as well as considering resilience levels (high, moderate, low) and cognitive styles (field independent). Data collection techniques include a mathematical proof ability test, a resilience questionnaire, a GEFT cognitive style test, and interviews. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that students with high resilience and field-independent cognitive styles have good mathematical proof abilities, are able to construct arguments logically and systematically, and are not easily discouraged when solving problems. Students with moderate resilience and field-dependent cognitive styles demonstrated adequate proof abilities but tended to require guidance and were less independent in their thinking. Meanwhile, students with low resilience and field-dependent cognitive styles had low proof abilities, tended to be confused in constructing arguments, and easily gave up when faced with difficulties. This study shows that students' mathematical proof abilities are influenced by a combination of resilience and cognitive style. Therefore, teachers need to consider both affective and cognitive factors in the mathematics learning process to optimize students' mathematical thinking abilities, particularly in the aspect of proof

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah, masih rendahnya tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Salah satu alternatif pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa adalah pendekatan matematika realistik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dengan pendekatan matematika realistik dalam pembelajaran matematika, serta mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan penggunaan pendekatan matematika realistik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen, dengan desain penelitian Control group pretes-postes. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Swasta Al-Ulum Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Swasta Al-Ulum Medan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII 5 sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih secara random kelas. Kelas eksperimen diberikan perlakuan dengan pendekatan matematika realistik dan kelas kontrol diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran konvensional. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan adalah berupa tes berpikir kreatif untuk melihat kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang telah diujicobakan dan angket untuk melihat respon siswa. Dalam penelitian ini diperoleh data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik uji t untuk melihat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dengan pendekatan matematika realistik dalam pembelajaran matematika. Data kualitatif dianalisis menggunakan skala sikap Likert untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan penggunaan pendekatan matematika realistik. Berdasarkan analisis hasil tes berpikir kreatif diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pendekatan matematika realistik.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Pengembangan perangkat dengan menggunakan model 4-D terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu: Define(Pendefenisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan) dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Subjek uji coba adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Swasta Pelita Aek Kanopan terdiri dari 2 kelas dengan klaster sampling terpilih kelas VIII-A. Teknik analisis data dilakukan analisis soal tes kemampuan representasi siswa. Hasil validitas semua perangkat yang di kembangkan masuk dalam kategori baik yang tercermin dari nilai rata-rata validator silabus 4,1, RPP 4,11 Buku Siswa 4,12, LKS 4,10 dan Tes Kemampuan Representasi Matematis 4,08. Pengelolaan pembelajaran menunjukkan 4,49 kategori baik dan respon siswa positif. Hasil uji coba di peroleh pembelajaran efektif dengan nilai rata – rata kemampuan representasi matematis 76,71. Keaktifan siswa dalam kemampuan representasi matematis sebesar 81,4 % . Rata-rata kemampuan representasi matematis kelas VIII-A 76,71. Dapat disimpulkan perangkat pembelajaran dengan model kooperatifuntuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasai matematis siswa adalah valid, praktis, dan efektif. Abstract

Peningkatan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis dan Kemandirian Belajar Siswa Melalui Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah di MTs Lab IKIP Al-Washliyah Medan T.A. 2020/2021. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui:1.Pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis.2.Pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap pencapaian kemandirian belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Sample dalam penelitian ini adalah 60 siswa kelas VII yang berasal dari dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen berjumlah 30 siswa dan kelas kontrol berjumlah 30 siswa pada satu sekolah MTs Lab IKIP Al-Washliyah Medan. Kelas Eksperimen diberikan dengan Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBM) dan kelas kontrol diberi Pembelajaran Konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data terdiri dari tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan angket Kemandirian Belajar siswa. Tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk essay yang telah di uji validitas, realibilitas, daya beda, dan tingkat kesukaran. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji atau uji independent sampel t test dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS 20.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: 1.Ada pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis.2.Ada pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap pencapaian kemandirian belajar siswa

Abstract

Computational thinking is a way of understanding and solving complex problems using computer science techniques and concepts such as demonstration, pattern recognition, abstraction and algorithms and is seen by many experts as one of the abilities that supports many dimensions of education. This research aims to produce valid and practical learning tools and to measure Computational Thinking in fractional material in class IV of SD Negeri 060911. To evaluate students' computational thinking abilities in fractional material in class IV of SD Negeri 060911. In this research qualitative research methods will be used. with the type of Research and Development (R&D) research. Data collection methods include observation, interviews. The validity of learning tools is tested through validation of teaching modules by material experts and learning method experts, as well as validation of LKPD by material experts. Based on the validation results, the teaching module obtained a score of 80%, which indicates the "Very Appropriate" category. The learning tools developed and implemented consist of teaching modules and Student Worksheets (LKPD). The average pre-test score before using the device was 53.85, while the average post-test score after using the device increased to 81.35. Based on the results of development research, it can be concluded that based on the validation results, the teaching module received the "Very Appropriate" category. The practicality of learning tools is assessed from student and teacher responses after implementation. Data shows that learning tools have a positive influence on students' computational thinking abilities. Meanwhile, the student response questionnaire showed a feasibility score of 78.24%. The average pre-test score before using the device was 53.85 while the average post-test score after using the device increased to 81.35.
