Abstract

Joint pain is one of the most common health complaints in the community. This complaint is often found in individuals with an age range of 50 to 70 years, this complaint is believed to have a fairly close relationship with the aging process. The complaints submitted are quite typical, namely in the form of pain that feels specific to the joint area. There are two methods that are usually used to treat complaints of joint pain, namely pharmacology and non-pharmacology. Non-pharmacological pain management can be done using distraction techniques and relaxation techniques. The use of ginger as an alternative to pain management has begun to be widely used in certain cases, such as in cases of gout pain, gout arthritis pain, osteoarthritis pain and joint pain where the cause is still unknown. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ginger compresses on complaints of joint pain. The method in this study was one group pre test post test design, the research sample was 30 residents who experienced complaints of joint pain, data analysis used the Wilcoxone test. This research was conducted in November-December 2022 in Lubuk Ketepeng Village, Jejawi District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The results obtained p value 0.005. It was concluded that there was a significant effect of ginger compresses weighing 1 gram and carried out for 2 hours on complaints of joint pain.

Abstract

This research examines the application of Islamic social etiquette among students at MTs Al-Ikhlas Alang-Alang Caruban Jogoroto Jombang. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study type. The research results show that this madrasa applies Islamic social etiquette through preventive and repressive measures. Preventive measures include education in aqeedah, worship, and morals. Repressive action takes the form of giving educational punishment. The main supporting factor is the teacher's role as a guide, facilitator, role model, and motivator. The inhibiting factor is the influence of social media and technology. Implementing Islamic social etiquette is urgent to shape students' personalities with good morals, produce a young generation with a leadership spirit, and anticipate the negative influence of developments in technology and social media. Strategies to strengthen its implementation include increasing the quality and quantity of religious activities, collaboration with parents, separate seating for men and women, teacher supervision, and spiritual formation through habituation to commendable behavior and imitating the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Abstract

Pengelolaan risiko dalam proses bisnis rantai pasok merupakan aspek krusial dalam memastikan kelancaran operasional dan keberlanjutan industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi risiko utama dalam rantai pasok, menganalisis dampaknya terhadap efisiensi operasional, serta mengembangkan strategi mitigasi berbasis pendekatan House of Risk (HOR). Metodologi yang digunakan mencakup identifikasi risiko menggunakan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), analisis probabilitas dampak, serta pemetaan strategi mitigasi yang tepat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa risiko utama berasal dari ketidakpastian pasokan bahan baku dan ketidaksesuaian permintaan pasar, yang dapat menghambat produktivitas. Implementasi strategi mitigasi berbasis HOR mampu mengurangi tingkat risiko secara signifikan dan meningkatkan efisiensi rantai pasok. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi bagi industri dalam meningkatkan daya saing melalui pendekatan proaktif dalam manajemen risiko rantai pasok.

Abstract

This research examines the strategies and practices used in building leadership character through the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) at Al Malikus Sholeh Sumobito Vocational School, Jombang. This research uses qualitative methods with in-depth interviews and participant observation as data collection techniques. Research findings show that OSIS is an effective means for developing leadership skills, responsibility, teamwork, and moral values ??in students. This research provides good insight for schools and educators to design programs that focus on developing leadership character through OSIS activities.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of learning supervision at MTs Miftahul Ulum Cermenan Jombang, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in teacher performance assessment. This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews as a method of data collection, involving the principal, supervision team, and several teachers at the school. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of supervision at MTs Miftahul Ulum is carried out in a structured manner twice a year, with the main focus on Teacher Performance Assessment (PKG) in the even semester. Supervision is carried out using two techniques, namely direct supervision through classroom observation and indirect supervision through meetings and group discussions between teachers. The main supporting factors are teacher mastery of technology, a conducive school culture, adequate facilities and infrastructure, and the existence of a competent supervision team. However, there are several inhibiting factors, such as time constraints, schedule clashes with other activities, and challenges in the readiness of learning devices and student discipline problems. The implications of this study indicate the need to develop a more flexible and data-based supervision system and improve teacher skills in utilizing technology to support the quality of learning. The results of this study can be used as consideration in developing supervision policies and practices in other schools, especially in utilizing technology to improve the effectiveness of supervision and the quality of learning

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the empowerment management of the Intra-School Student Organisation (OSIS) in shaping student leadership character at MTs Miftahul Huda Silir Wates Kediri. This study stems from the importance of the role of OSIS as a strategic vehicle in developing the leadership potential of students based on Islamic values. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with subjects consisting of the head of the madrasah, OSIS advisors, and OSIS administrators. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies, then analysed using data reduction, data presentation, and interactive conclusion-drawing techniques to gain an in-depth understanding of the management practices applied.The results of the study indicate that OSIS empowerment in this madrasah is implemented through four main management functions, namely participatory planning, democratic organisation, experiential learning, and reflective evaluation oriented towards the formation of Islamic leadership character. The synergy between these functions produces a student leadership profile that is religious, disciplined, communicative, and responsible. Academically, this article contributes to strengthening the study of Islamic education management, particularly in the development of an Islamic leadership education model that integrates modern management principles and Islamic spiritual values. The results of this study can serve as a conceptual reference for Islamic educational institutions in designing strategies for empowering student organisations as effective, adaptive leadership laboratories rooted in transcendental moral values.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Nyeri osteoartitis cukup banyak dijumpai. Gejala klinis ini mengganggu area persendian dan berdampak pada terganggunya fungsi tubuh penderitanya. Penanganan nyeri selama ini masih bertumpu pada tatalaksana farmakologis dan belum banyak penderita yang mencoba penanangan secara non farmakologis. Tujuan: Mengetahui apakah ada Pengaruh penerapan Terapi Relaksasi OtotProgresif Terhadap Skala Nyeri pada Penderita Osteoarthritis di UPTD Puskesmas Gunung Kemala Tahun 2025. Metode: Desain penelitian menggunakan rancangan Pra-Experimental dengan pendekatan One Group PreTest-PostTest Design. Populasi 850 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel Purposive Sampling, jumlah sampel 30 responden. Data skala nyeri diukur menggunakan Numeric Rating Scale dan Visual Analog Scale sebelum dan sesudah pemberian terapi relaksasi otot progresif,  pelaksanaan 28 April-07 Mei 2025 di Puskesmas Gunung Kemala Kota Prabumulih. Hasil: Sebelum terapi relaksasi otot progresif, 20 orang mengalami nyeri berat dan 10 orang mengalami nyeri sedang, setelah dilakukan intervensi terapi relaksasi otot progresif terjadi penurunan skala nyeri 6 orang mengalami nyeri ringan, 19 orang mengalami nyeri sedang dan 5 orang masih mengalami berat. Hasil analisis statistic menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon didapatkan nilai 0,000. Saran: Agar Pasien dapat menerapkan secara mandiri terapi otot progresif tindakan nonfarmakologi sebagai terapi konvensional terhadap keluhan nyeri osteoarthritis guna meningkatkan derajat kesehatan menjadi lebih baik. Kata Kunci: Nyeri, Osteoartritis, Terapi Relaksasi Otot Progresif,

Abstract

Background: Unsafe actions are a primary contributor to occupational accidents in industrial environments, yet the influence of worker-specific factors like knowledge and attitude requires continuous investigation. This study aimed to determine the association between Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) knowledge, attitude, and the prevalence of unsafe actions among lathe machine operators. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted involving 33 lathe machine operators at CV. Melpura Jaya Teknik. Data on demographic characteristics, OSH knowledge, OSH attitude, and unsafe actions were collected using a structured questionnaire. The relationships between variables were analyzed using the Chi-Square test, with the significance level set at p < 0.05. Results: The analysis revealed a highly significant association between OSH knowledge and unsafe actions (p < .001), as well as a significant association between OSH attitude and unsafe actions (p = .031). Notably, all participants with poor knowledge (100%) or an unsupportive attitude (100%) were found to engage in high-risk unsafe actions. Conversely, all workers with good knowledge or a supportive attitude were classified in the low-risk category. Conclusion: OSH knowledge and attitude are critical determinants of safe behavior among lathe machine operators. Deficiencies in these areas are strongly correlated with high-risk actions. Therefore, workplace safety interventions should adopt a dual approach, focusing not only on comprehensive knowledge-based training but also on fostering a positive safety culture to shape supportive attitudes.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze how the Bima community interprets and reconstructs the Rimpu tradition as a cultural symbol intersecting with Islamic law, to identify the various forms of practice, modification, and contestation of Rimpu within social life and digital spaces, and to examine how Rimpu adapts amid contemporary modernization. The study employs a qualitative approach using ethnographic methods—including participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation—to produce a detailed and comprehensive account of this socio-cultural phenomenon. The findings reveal that Rimpu functions as a symbol of morality and honor as well as a mechanism of social control rooted in the Maja Labo Dahu value system of Bima society. Rimpu constitutes part of a cultural habitus reproduced through socialization processes within families and communities. A significant shift has occurred from collective obligation to individual choice, accompanied by the commodification of Rimpu within the cultural economy—particularly through festivals and creative industries, including rimpu cili for young girls and rimpu colo for adult women—now featured in cultural parades, local beauty contests, and public performances as a visual representation of Bima identity. This transformation reflects an ongoing negotiation between Islamic values, cultural identity, and the forces of modernity. The article recommends that local government strengthen sustainable cultural preservation programs, support local culture-based MSMEs and creative industries, and integrate cultural education into the formal education system.
