Abstract

Parenting education plays an important role in fostering healthy family character, supporting child development, and ensuring family resilience. This research aims to apply Islamic values in parenting practices, examine the role of culture and community support, understand challenges and parenting strategies, analyze gender roles, and assess the effectiveness of parenting education programs in Aceh. The study uses qualitative methods, and analysis using parenting theory. Semi-structured interviews and literature studies were used to collect data. The analysis includes coding of qualitative data, classification, and interpretation. Ethical considerations are enforced throughout the research process, to ensure respondent consent, privacy, and confidentiality and address potential researcher bias. The results of the study concluded that parenting education requires support from Islamic values, culture, community encouragement, fair and good parenting, gender roles, and parenting education programs. Parenting education for Islamic families in Aceh based on religious values (such as monotheism and piety) and Islamic culture has been proven to create family resilience. The tsunami incident is clear evidence of the resilience of the Acehnese family based on Islamic values and religious culture. On the other hand, religious leaders and educators can encourage and enhance this parenting education model in society. The findings of this study have practical implications for developing parenting education programs and interventions that are sensitive to values and culture in promoting well-being, the Islamic family model and family resilience in Aceh, Indonesia.

Abstract

The focus of this research is on the strategies for preserving Seudati dance by the Pidie Jaya government in the era of disruption. Pidie Jaya is one of the regencies known for the Seudati dance, and many prominent Seudati leaders, known as "syeh," hail from this region. This research was conducted in Pidie Jaya Regency, with the location chosen due to the observed phenomenon that the youth are no longer interested in learning and performing Seudati. Data collection techniques in this research included participant observation, where the researcher directly observed the subjects to gather data. In addition to participant observation, in-depth interviews were also employed as a technique for collecting data. The results of the research indicate that the youth are abandoning Seudati because the digital world is more appealing than Seudati. Furthermore, learning Seudati is not as easy as learning other dances. In response to these challenges, the Pidie Jaya government has made efforts to preserve Seudati through several approaches. First, they utilize digital media itself as a platform for Seudati campaigns. They also give recognition to Seudati maestros, creating a positive impression for all parties involved. The government promotes Seudati in extracurricular activities through the Gerakan Seniman Masuk Sekolah. Additionally, they are reactivating village dance studios and providing spaces for expression, such as the Pekan Kebudayaan Pidie Jaya.

Abstract

Semakin tinggi mutu kegiatan belajar siswa, diharapkan hasil belajarnya semakin baik dan banyaknya masalah belajar yang dialami siswa memungkinkan rendahnya perolehan hasil belajar siswa. Banyaknya masalah belajar siswa cenderung meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Kategori masalah keterampilan belajar dan kondisi diri selalu menduduki posisi dominan. Skor mutu kegiatan belajar mengajar mereka rendah dan cenderung menurun dari tahun ke tahun. MA Hidayatussibyan NW Sengkerang, merupakan sekolah yang jauh dari ibu kota provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, memiliki kelebihan dan keterbatasan segi sarana dan prasarana, maupun sumberdaya pendidik dan peserta didik, sumber daya yang dimiliki perlu dikembangkan dan terus ditingkatkan, keterbatasan menjadi penyemangat untuk terus berbenah sehingga cita-cita sekolah, guru dan harapan orang tua peserta didik dapat tercapai dengan maksimal. Siswa MA Hidayatussibyan NW Sengkerang, memiliki masalah terkait dengan kemandirian, kurang percaya diri, tidak mengetahui tujuan hidupnya, bahkan jika ditanya tentang tujuannya bersekolah kebanyakan menjawab “disuruh orang tua”. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan kegiatan pelatihan atau workshop terkait dengan kemandirian dan perencanaan masa depan, sehingga mereka siap dalam menentukan langkah hidupnya dan bertanggungjawab atas konsekuensi tindakan yang dilakukan. Hal ini penting, menyadari bahwa jutaan anak Indonesia banyak yang putus sekolah sejak usia wajib belajar yang direncanakan, mulai dari tingkat sekolah dasar, sekolah menengah pertama dan selanjutnya pada sekolah menengah atas dan yang sederajat. Termasuk didalamnya lulusan sarjana terbaik menganggur. Adapun metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan ini dimulai dengan: penyampaian materi, diskusi, penugasan, FGD, dan evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter penting diterapkan untuk menghindarkan berbagai persoalan yang bermunculan dalam kehidupan seperti kekerasan, kejahatan seksual, tawuran pelajar, pesta pora narkotika dan ketergantungan narkoba remaja di lingkungan pendidikan dan masyarakat. Untuk memberdayakan dan membentengi generasi penerus bangsa ini, pendidikan karakter kini telah diupayakan secara luas, baik formal maupun informal, dari tingkat pendidikan paling dasar hingga tertinggi. Keberadaan mata pelajaran dalam kurikulum pendidikan juga dimasukkan ke dalam pendidikan karakter. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan Inklusi Pendidikan Berkarakter diharapkan guru-guru PAUD di Kota Mataram memiliki pemahaman dalam menerapkan pendidikan karakter di lembaga masing-masing sesuai dengan tingkat usia dan perkembangan anak pada pendidikan anak usia dini. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan langkah-langkah a. Pembukaan, b. Penyampaian materi c. Kerja kelompok d. Presentasi masing-masing kelompok e. Penguatan dan diskusi f. Refleksi dan Evaluasi.

Abstract

Dengan  sistem  pembelajaran  saintifik  yang  di dalamnya banyak terkadung berbagai metode pembelajaran yang dapat di gunakan oleh peserta didik. Di sini yang mendominasi seluruh pembelajaran adalah peserta didik, peserta didik di harapkan aktif dan bersifat memberi ilmu  pengetahuan  juga kepada teman  yang lain,  jadi tidak hanya menerima saja. Proses pembelajaran sepenuhnya diarahkan pada pengembangan ketiga ranah (sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan) secara utuh atau holistic, artinya pengembangan ranah yang satu tidak bisa dipisahkan dengan yang lainnya. Dalam kegiatan ini, beberapa target luaran diantaranya: (1) terlaksananya kegiatan pelatihan dengan judul “Pelatihan ImplementasiPembelajaran Berbasis Pendekatan Saintifik (Scientific Approach) bagi guru di SD Negeri 2 Sigar Penjalin (2) peserta (guru) mampu memahami konsep, karakteristik, dan langkah-langkah/prosedur pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan saintifik (scientific Approach); (3) peningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengimplemenasikan pendekatan saintifik dalam proses pembelajaran; dan (4) menghasilkan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa dengan tahapan saintifik. Metode pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan secara kelompok, curah pendapat, dan partisipatif. Adapu tahapan kegiatan ini sebagai berikut: (1) persiapan dan pembekalan; (2) penyampaian materi; (3) pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdiann dan (4) rencana keberlanjutan program. Hasil dari pengabdian diperoleh bahwa guru di SD Negeri 2 Sigar Penjalin memiliki masalah dalam memahami pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik. Guru hanya mengikuti panduan yang terdapat pada buku guru tanpa melakukan pengembangan secara kontekstual.

Abstract

Objective: The research aims to analyze how the simultaneous implementation of innovation, data-driven strategies, and digital transformation can foster a strong collaborative work culture. It highlights the role of modern management approaches in ensuring organizational competitiveness, adaptability, and a results-oriented focus in the contemporary business environment. Method: This study adopts a library research method, utilizing secondary data from scientific journal articles and previous research reports. These sources provide the basis for analyzing the integration of innovation, data, and technology with modern management practices. Results: The findings indicate that innovation-based strategies, when combined with modern management approaches, enhance creativity and cross-functional collaboration, embedding innovation into the core of the organization's culture. Data-driven strategies support clarity in decision-making, transparency in performance evaluation, and conflict-free collaboration, leading to measurable and efficient teamwork. Digital transformation strategies, through the adoption of modern technologies such as collaboration software, cloud computing, and AI, enable increased efficiency, connectivity, and accelerated teamwork across different locations. Novelty: This study offers a comprehensive perspective on the integration of innovation, data, and digital transformation with modern management approaches. It emphasizes how this combination can create an adaptive, cohesive, and competitive organizational culture, providing valuable insights for organizations navigating the challenges of technological and managerial evolution.

Abstract

Sedau Village is one of the villages in the Narmada sub-district, West Lombok district, West Nusa Tenggara province. Most of the people in Sedau Village are more interested in growing fruits, some other residents are planting medicinal plants. Citronella plants are cultivated by some residents of Sedau Village in small quantities, so they have not been able to provide economic benefits for the local community. In addition, there is also no community in Sedau Village who can process citronella plants into essential oil which can increase the selling price of the citronella. The purpose of this series of socialization and training activities by the Unram Thematic KKN team is to increase people's understanding and creativity about medicinal plant demonstration plots, how to cultivate several medicinal plants in the demonstration plot, especially citronella and post-harvest processing methods of citronella into essential oils , so as to increase the selling price of the fragrant citronella. The method used in this activity is the socialization method, participative through training and learning. While the technique used in distillation is the steam distillation process to obtain essential oils. Citronella oil is usually light yellow to dark yellow in color, and is volatile. Essential oil itself is an oil produced by plants. The resulting aroma is fragrant according to the producing plant, generally insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents. The citronella oil distillation process consumes around 15-20 kilograms of raw materials with a distillation time of approximately 3 hours. From the distillation of citronella, 125 ml of essential oil was obtained.

Abstract

The Slum-Free City Program is one of the strategic initiatives by the Indonesian government aimed at reducing slum areas in urban regions and improving the quality of life for the community. The establishment of Qanun Lhokseumawe City No. 11 of 2018 has made the Slum-Free City Program an effort to address slum settlement issues in Lhokseumawe City. This study aims to analyze the barriers faced in the implementation of the Slum-Free City Program in Lhokseumawe City. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, and the data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and literature review. The results of the study show that the barriers in the implementation of this program include insufficient budget allocation to meet all program needs, social, economic, and cultural constraints within the community, technical and infrastructure challenges, low public participation and awareness regarding the importance of cleanliness and supporting the Slum-Free City Program, and a lack of coordination among the various institutions (government, NGOs, and private sector) involved in the program. Additionally, legal issues related to land ownership and the limitations of regulations that support the Slum-Free City Program are also significant barriers. Based on these findings, the recommendations include increasing budget allocation, strengthening inter-agency coordination, improving socialization and education for the community, and enhancing technical and administrative mechanisms. This research is expected to contribute to improving the implementation of the Slum-Free City Program in the future and help realize cities free from slum areas.

Abstract

Understanding learning theories and individual learning differences is an important aspect in designing and implementing effective learning strategies. This article explores the relationship between learning theories and individual differences in learning contexts. Through an in-depth theoretical review, this article reviews several major learning theories, including behaviorism, constructivism, social cognitive theory, and cognitive load theory. Next, this article discusses various factors that influence individual differences in learning, such as cognitive abilities, learning styles, motivation, interests, and cultural background. The method used is typeliterature study with the aim of exploring research related to the theme of Differentiation-Based Learning and individual differences in developing learning strategies. The study was carried out starting with the stages of collecting and analyzing various previous studies that were relevant to understanding how differentiation-based learning strategies work, and also identifying and collecting articles, journals, books, and academic publications discussing relevant theories. Data sources were taken from academic databases such as Google Scholar (journals), JSTOR, and ProQuest, as well as other references. Next, a literature analysis was carried out, the selected literature was analyzed using the content analysis method to identify main themes, significant findings, and the methodology used in previous research. The research results found that the exploration of effective learning strategies was also a focus with an emphasis on developing a differentiation approach to meet the needs of the diverse learning styles of each student. By integrating learning theories and understanding individual differences, a teacher can create an inclusive learning climate that supports all students, increases their learning potential, and achieves higher academic goals.

Abstract

Peran aktif orang tua dalam proses tumbuh kembang anak usia dini menjadi fondasi penting dalam membentuk karakter, kecerdasan, dan kemandirian anak. Namun, di Desa Batu Jangkih masih ditemukan keterbatasan pemahaman orang tua terhadap pentingnya keterlibatan mereka dalam mendampingi anak, baik di rumah maupun di lingkungan pendidikan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran orang tua melalui program parenting bertema “Keterlibatan Orang Tua dalam Menunjang Tumbuh Kembang Anak Usia Dini”. Kegiatan dilaksanakan bersama para orang tua murid PAUD YAYASAN ZAINUL MUSTAFA melalui pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif berupa penyuluhan, diskusi interaktif, serta simulasi kegiatan pengasuhan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman serta perubahan sikap orang tua terhadap pola pengasuhan yang lebih aktif dan positif. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan manfaat praktis bagi peserta, tetapi juga mendorong terwujudnya sinergi antara keluarga dan lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini sebagai mitra strategis dalam proses pendidikan anak.
