Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Subjek penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa di beberapa universitas di wilayah Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta yaitu Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, dan Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta. Terdapat dua jenis data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini, yaitu data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Data kualitatif meliputi data hasil rancangan model pembelajaran, instrumen penilaian model pembelajaran, validasi instrumen penilaian model pembelajaran dan analisis data validasi model pembelajaran. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari data angket penilaian model pembelajaran berbasis Virtual Reality (VR) oleh ahli media, ahli materi dan tes hasil belajar dan lembar penilaian peserta didik. Sementara untuk mengumpulkan data, ada beberapa metode yang digunakan yaitu observasi, angket dan tes. Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini yaitu: 1) mengembangkan model pembelajaran pendidikan multikultural berbasis VR; 2) mengukur implementasi model pembelajaran pendidikan multikultural berbasis VR untuk penguatan sikap toleransi dalam bingkai kebhinekaan.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation and the enhancement of student learning outcomes after applying the bandicam application in the Pancasila Education Course. This study was a qualitative approach with a class action research type. Implementation of the action in two cycles, with one meeting each cycle. This study uses four stages in each cycle: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques through tests and documentation. Data analysis utilized qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. The study results show that the bandicam application in the Pancasila Education Course includes initial, core, and closing activities. Student cognitive learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average of 66.67 percent with 16 people in the complete category, and in cycle II, as many as 21 students with an average of 91.67 percent in the complete category. An increase in student learning outcomes occurred after using the bandicam application.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of problem-based learning models in strengthening the democratic character of students. The type of research used in this study was descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The researchers used observation, interview, and documentation techniques to obtain data. In addition, they checked the validity of the data by triangulation technique. The data analysis techniques contained data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicated that the application of the problem-based learning model could strengthen the democratic character of students by orienting students to problems, organizing students for learning, guiding individual and group investigations, developing and presenting work, and analyzing and evaluating problem-solving processes. Furthermore, strengthening democratic character through problem-based learning is carried out when identifying issues that occur by integrating honest, fair, and participatory attitudes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether using the project-based learning model with mind mapping media can increase students' active participation and learning outcomes in class X D at Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Pandanaran Yogyakarta. The study's findings suggest that using the Project-based Learning Media Mind Mapping Learning Model can raise students' levels of active engagement and learner learning outcomes. The results of the study also suggest that the use of the project based learning media mind mapping learning model can improve students' cognitive and psychomotor learning outcomes both individually and in groups. Specifically, the study contributes to the growing body of educational research by exploring how these combined methods can improve student engagement and academic performance in a high school setting, providing valuable insights for educators looking to adopt innovative teaching strategies in similar educational contexts.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the level of student participation and perception in applying the project-based learning model, specifically through video projects, in the civic education course, to evaluate the implementation of this learning model in the course, and to identify the skills that can be developed through its application in the form of videos in civic education. The study used mixed methods during the even semester of 2022/2023 (February 8-May 8, 2023). The research was conducted within the S-1 English Language Study Program at FBSB UNY, focusing on the application of a video project in the Civic Education course. The research narrows down the problem into three main objectives: (1) to analyze students' level of participation and the perception in application of the learning model to be applied in the civil education course; (2) to evaluate and identify skills that need to be developed in the use of the video in the curriculum. The results show that students' perceptions of the implementation using the video are very good with a percentage of 33% and good with the percentage of 60%. Students' perception of the development of skills in editing videos, teamwork (collaboration), problem solving (problem solving), speaking in front of the camera, and time management were also very good. This study provides insights into students' perceived benefits of using the model and the specific skills cultivated, such as creativity, collaboration, and digital literacy.

Abstract

AbstractGay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) in Indonesia from the perspective of human rights, Islam, and Pancasila. Research is qualitative using the method of literature study (library research). LGBT based on a religious point of view, especially Islam and Pancasila are declared forbidden and contrary culture. But, the state is in ambiguity in determining policy. The State of Indonesia faces a dilemma between Pancasila and Islam with the consistency and spirit of human rights enforcement in Indonesia since the Reformation Era. This manifestation of ambiguity appears to be the lack of clear regulation of LGBT. This gives rise to discriminatory attitudes towards LGBT people both psychologically, physically socially, culturally, and economically. This study recommends that the state should take a bold stance in determining the point of view of LGBT. LGBT citizens should still be treated equally. The absence of regulation against LGBT is a manifestation of discrimination by the state. The state should give its perspective on LGBT in Indonesia. -------------AbstrakTujuan dari artikel ini ialah untuk mengkaji tentang eksistensi Lesbian, Gay, Biseksual, dan Transgender (LGBT) di Indonesia dari perspektif  hak asasi manusia, Islam, dan Pancasila. Penelitian bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode kajian literatur (library research). LGBT jika dipandang dari sudut agama khususnya Islam dan Pancasila jelas dinyatakan terlarang dan bertentangan dengan budaya Indonesia. Tapi, negara dalam keambiguan dalam menentukan kebijakan. Negara Indonesia menghadapi dilema antara Pancasila dan Islam dengan konsistensi dan semangat penegakan HAM di Indonesia sejak Era Reformasi. Manifestasi keambiguan ini tampak pada ketiadaan regulasi yang jelas terhadap LGBT. Hal ini menimbulkan sikap diskrimnasi terhadap kalangan LGBT baik secara psikis, fisik secara sosial, budaya, dan ekonomi. Rekomendasi dari kajian ini ialah negara harus berani mengambil sikap dalam menentukan sudut pandang terhadap LGBT. LGBT sebagai warga negara harus tetap diperlakukan sama. Ketiadaan regulasi terhadap kalangan LGBT merupakan manifestasi diskriminasi oleh negara. Negara harus memberikan sudut pandangnya sendiri terhadap LGBT di Indonesia

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of using wordwall gamification media on enhancing educational achievements. The research strategy used in this study was the One-Group pretest-posttest design. The participants consisted of 43 students enrolled in the Chemistry C Education program at Yogyakarta State University, taking the Pancasila Education course. The data collected from the study were analyzed using descriptive statistics. According to the findings of inferential statistical analysis using the t-test method, there was a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes, with a mean gain of 12.31 score points. Given that the t count is statistically significant at a significance level of 0.05, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected in favor of 3400 of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). This implies a discernible impact of using wordwall gamification media on enhancing learning outcomes. Based on the findings and deliberations, it can be deduced that the utilization of Wordwall media in the context of gamified learning exhibits efficacy in enhancing the educational achievements of 43 participants enrolled in the C Chemical Education program, namely those doing Pancasila Education courses at Yogyakarta State University.

Abstract

This study aims to prove and analyze the increase in Civics learning achievement through the use of RUKAPE learning media based on YouTube for class VIIA students of Panjalu 1 Junior High School in the 2022-2023 academic year. This type of research uses classroom action research by developing a model from Stephen Kemmis & Robin Mc Taggart in the form of cycles of action planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 32 students. Data collection techniques using tests, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistical analysis by looking for the average value, the percentage of learning success. Criteria for the success of the action for learning achievement is the complete limit of 75 (KKM = 75) and class completeness of 85%. The results showed that there was an increase in civics learning achievement in the initial conditions (initial ability test), cycle I, and cycle II. On the initial ability test score, the class average was only 62.5 with a class completeness of 15.6% and students who scored = 75 totaled 5 students. In cycle I there was an increase, namely the class average became 67.5 and class completeness increased to 50% (an increase of 34.3%) and students who scored = 75 totaled 16 students. Furthermore, in cycle II there was also an increase, namely the class average became 81 and the class completeness became 87.5% (an increase of 37.5%) and students who scored = 75 totaled 28 students. Based on these results it can be concluded that the use of RUKAPE learning media based on YouTube can improve civics learning achievement in class VII A students of SMP Negeri 1 Panjalu for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa pelatihan penelitian tindakan kelas bagi guru dalam MGMP Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 26 Juni 2024. Metode penyuluhan dipilih sebagai pendekatan utama untuk memfasilitasi pemahaman dan penerapan penelitian tindakan kelas dalam konteks pengajaran kewarganegaraan. Kegiatan ini dimulai dengan penyampaian materi tentang konsep penelitian tindakan kelas, tujuan, dan metodologi yang relevan dengan pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Materi disajikan secara interaktif melalui diskusi kelompok, studi kasus, dan simulasi untuk memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang langkah-langkah praktis dalam melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Para peserta, yang terdiri dari guru-guru dari MGMP Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, dilibatkan dalam sesi praktik langsung untuk merancang, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi penelitian tindakan kelas. Mereka diberi panduan dan bimbingan untuk mengembangkan pertanyaan penelitian yang relevan, merancang kegiatan pembelajaran yang efektif, serta mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data untuk memperbaiki praktik pengajaran mereka. Evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala selama sesi pelatihan untuk memastikan pemahaman yang tepat dan efektivitas pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas oleh para guru. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan dan kepercayaan diri para peserta dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih berorientasi pada hasil dan berkelanjutan. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan penelitian tindakan kelas ini berhasil dalam memberdayakan guru-guru MGMP Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Kabupaten Tasikmalaya melalui pendekatan penyuluhan yang interaktif.

Abstract

The quality of a nation's human resources can be measured from the learning achievements of students. Learning achievement is an indicator of student learning success and also an indicator of educator success in conducting learning. Learning success reflects the success of students in mastering learning concepts expressed by grades. One way to increase student understanding of concepts is by applying mind mapping. This study aims to determine the effect of mind mapping on the success rate of student learning in the Pancasila course. The method used in this research is Pre-Experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample consisted of 36 students majoring in English literature at UNY by choosing purposive sampling. Analysis of the learning outcomes obtained shows that the value of ha is accepted which means that the effect of applying mind mapping has on student learning success in the Pancasila course. While the Gain value (the average increase as an indicator of learning success) obtained results of 0.33 in the medium category. The implication of this research is as a source of information or a reference for educators that the application of mind mapping in learning can increase learning success.
