Abstract

This study was motivated by the low IPAS learning outcomes of students at SDN 1 Trenceng Tulungagung, as indicated by the low level of learning mastery (±35%) and the lack of tolerance attitudes in learning interactions. The conventional learning approach that still dominates classroom instruction is considered unable to optimize the achievement of cognitive and social learning objectives. This study aims to analyze the effect of students’ perceptions of the implementation of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model and emotional intelligence on IPAS learning outcomes through tolerance attitudes as a mediating variable. This study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory correlational design. The sample consisted of 59 students determined using the Isaac and Michael formula. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and documentation of learning outcomes, and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The results show that students’ perceptions of the implementation of the TPS model have a positive and significant effect on tolerance attitudes (β = 0.451; t = 4.215; p < 0.001) and learning outcomes (β = 0.312; t = 2.965; p = 0.003). Emotional intelligence also has a significant effect on tolerance attitudes (β = 0.389; t = 3.874; p < 0.001) and learning outcomes (β = 0.330; t = 3.450; p = 0.001). Furthermore, tolerance attitudes significantly affect learning outcomes (β = 0.322; t = 3.102; p = 0.002) and mediate the effects of both variables. The R² values indicate that the model explains 54.2% of the variance in tolerance attitudes and 61.8% of the variance in learning outcomes. Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komparatif teori behaviorisme dan nativisme dalam pemerolehan bahasa pertama pada siswa kelas rendah di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Pemerolehan bahasa pada tahap ini merupakan proses penting dalam perkembangan kognitif dan komunikasi siswa yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan dan kemampuan bawaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur dan analisis deskriptif terhadap berbagai sumber ilmiah yang relevan. Teori behaviorisme menekankan bahwa kemampuan berbahasa diperoleh melalui interaksi dengan lingkungan melalui mekanisme stimulus, respons, imitasi, dan penguatan. Dalam konteks pembelajaran di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, teori ini tampak pada praktik pembiasaan bahasa melalui latihan dan pengulangan. Sementara itu, teori nativisme berpendapat bahwa siswa memiliki kemampuan bawaan berupa perangkat linguistik yang memungkinkan mereka memahami dan menghasilkan bahasa secara alami tanpa harus diajarkan secara eksplisit. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kedua teori memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan dalam menjelaskan pemerolehan bahasa pertama. Behaviorisme efektif dalam menjelaskan peran lingkungan dan proses pembelajaran, sedangkan nativisme mampu menjelaskan kreativitas dan kemampuan alami siswa dalam berbahasa. Namun, masing-masing teori juga memiliki keterbatasan. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan integratif yang menggabungkan faktor lingkungan dan kemampuan bawaan dinilai lebih komprehensif dan relevan dalam memahami pemerolehan bahasa pada siswa kelas rendah di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kreativitas dan kepercayaan diri siswa sekolah dasar melalui pembinaan ekstrakurikuler seni tari dalam program Asistensi Mengajar Sekolah Dasar (AMSD). Kegiatan dilaksanakan di UPT SD Negeri 6 Watampone selama satu bulan dengan melibatkan siswa yang memiliki minat pada bidang seni. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi tahap observasi, perencanaan kegiatan, pelaksanaan latihan seni tari, serta evaluasi melalui pementasan karya siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan seni tari mampu meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan sekolah, mengembangkan kemampuan motorik, serta meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa ketika tampil di depan umum. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna melalui aktivitas yang bersifat kolaboratif dan kreatif. Puncak kegiatan ditandai dengan presentasi karya siswa berupa penampilan tari dan pembacaan puisi pada acara penarikan mahasiswa asistensi mengajar. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pembinaan ekstrakurikuler seni tari dapat menjadi salah satu strategi yang efektif dalam mendukung perkembangan kreativitas dan karakter siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that is a frightening specter for students. Mathematics is considered a difficult science to understand that requires early handling because it will affect the next academic career level. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of clinical scaffolding in mathematics learning for elementary school students. This study was an experimental study with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were 19 fifth-grade students of SDN 2 Balangnipa. Data collection techniques used observation sheets and mathematical concept understanding tests. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis to determine the effectiveness criteria. The results showed that there was an increase in students' mathematical concept understanding ability tests after the implementation of clinical scaffolding, namely the n-gain value was in the high category, and student activity in learning through clinical scaffolding met the ideal time percentage. Based on these results, it can be seen that learning with clinical scaffolding is effectively applied in mathematics learning for elementary school students.

Abstract

The guidance for School Field Practice (PLP II) is still dominated by a focus on pedagogical technical aspects and has not yet optimally integrated character formation based on Pancasila values and local wisdom. This study aims to: (1) analyze the philosophical and theoretical foundations of the PLP II guidance model based on the philosophy of Hamemayu Hayuning Bawono; (2) describe the implementation of the model in the mentoring process of practice students; and (3) identify its impact on the formation of Pancasila value-based character. A qualitative approach with an intrinsic case study design was used. The research subjects consisted of supervising lecturers, mentor teachers, and PLP II practice students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, and then analyzed using an interactive model (reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing). The validity of the data was tested through triangulation and member checking. The results showed that the Hamemayu Hayuning Bawono-based mentoring model is implemented through five main stages, namely value orientation, practice contextualization, reflective supervision, social collaboration, and character evaluation. This model has been proven to be able to comprehensively shape students' character, covering religiosity, nationalism, integrity, mutual cooperation, responsibility, democracy, social justice, and critical reasoning. The research conclusion shows that the integration of local wisdom in PLP II mentoring is effective in strengthening the internalization of Pancasila values in a reflective, contextual, and sustainable manner. This model can be an innovative alternative in the development of teacher professional education that is oriented towards character formation based on culture.
