Abstract

The purpose of this study was to provide a comprehensive description of the mathematical reasoning abilities of students in elementary mathematics learning within the context of reasoning. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design involving 35 first-semester students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Program (PGSMP) in the 2021–2022 academic year, consisting of 12 female and 23 male participants. Data were collected using both test and non-test techniques, including interviews, classroom observations, questionnaires, and documentation studies, in order to obtain a holistic understanding of the students’ reasoning abilities. The analysis focused on identifying indicators of mathematical reasoning such as the ability to make logical connections, construct arguments, provide justifications, identify patterns, and draw conclusions. The findings revealed that the mathematical reasoning abilities of the PGSMP students in the context of elementary mathematics learning were generally categorized as good. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of integrating reasoning-oriented tasks in mathematics learning to strengthen students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills. These results suggest that mathematics educators should continue to emphasize reasoning in instructional practices, as it not only enhances students’ cognitive development but also prepares them to apply mathematical knowledge in real-world contexts.

Abstract

Telepharmacy is a rapidly expanding form of remote pharmaceutical care, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic, aimed at improving access to and the quality of pharmaceutical services. Despite its widespread implementation, the effectiveness of this service remains a topic of debate. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the types and effectiveness of telepharmacy services provided by pharmacists through a systematic review. This study employed a systematic review approach following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Data sources were obtained from PubMed and Oxford Journal databases using relevant keywords such as ‘effectivity,’ ‘effectiveness,’ and ‘telepharmacy.’ The process involved study identification, screening, quality assessment, and data extraction, resulting in 24 articles that met the inclusion criteria. Telepharmacy services identified across the studies were categorized into four main types: 1) remote pharmacist consultation (n=10), 2) drug information provision (n=7), 3) therapeutic drug monitoring (n=5), and 4) electronic medication dispensing (n=2). Evaluation of telepharmacy effectiveness demonstrated significant improvements in several aspects, including: 1) clinical outcomes (6 out of 9 studies; p = 0.019–0.048), 2) patient satisfaction (3 out of 4 studies; p = 0.018–0.041), 3) medication adherence (12 out of 15 studies; p = 0.002–0.040), and 4) cost efficiency (all 4 studies; p = 0.021–0.048). The findings of this systematic review indicate that telepharmacy services are generally effective in improving patient clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction with services, medication adherence, and treatment cost efficiency.

Abstract

Flood disasters have become one of the most critical environmental issues in Grobogan Regency over the past two years. At least three major floods occurred in February and March 2024, and again in January 2025, inundating 98 villages across 14 subdistricts and breaching 28 river embankment points. These floods were triggered by extreme rainfall, inadequate flood control infrastructure, and uncontrolled land conversion from forest to agricultural areas in the upstream catchment zones. This policy paper aims to identify the main drivers of flooding and formulate short-, medium-, and long-term strategies for flood risk reduction in Grobogan Regency. The study employed a descriptive–qualitative approach using literature review, interviews with officials from the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) and the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), and direct field observations. The analysis applied the USG (Urgency–Seriousness–Growth) model to determine priority issues and the SWOT (Strengths–Weaknesses–Opportunities–Threats) framework to evaluate strategic options for policy intervention. The findings reveal that flood mitigation efforts should focus on strengthening water resource infrastructure, conducting regular river normalization, and enforcing stricter land-use control. Adaptive strategies such as agroforestry systems, upstream reforestation, and sustainable land management are essential to enhance climate resilience. Through cross-sectoral collaboration and ecosystem-based governance, Grobogan Regency can progress toward sustainable flood resilience.

Abstract

Abstract

The Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) of the sustainable Mangrove Apple Park is one of the groups formed by the Barito Kuala Regency Government of South Kalimantan as actors in tourism development related to empowering coastal communities who care about the mangrove flora and fauna environment. The purpose of community service activities for partner groups is to utilize mangrove vines as material for propagation/nursery, selecting good media for sowing. The solution offered is to provide information on knowledge about the mangrove apple plant, select planting media and conduct training and demonstrations in order to increase the knowledge and skills of partner groups. The method of delivering material is through meetings and discussions. The training is in the form of demonstrations and demonstrations as well as evaluating the activities that have been carried out. The results of service activities for partner groups have provided a change in attitude and knowledge of partner groups from not knowing enough to knowing enough about propagation/breeding, choosing good media for sowing. Meetings with partner groups have an impact on increasing the variety of knowledge and abilities, where members of partner groups in propagation/breeding efforts, the selection of good media for sowing as an increase in partner group knowledge tends to lead to the same level or evenly.
