Abstract

Background: Waste management is a critical issue in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas like Pandansari Lor Village in Malang Regency. Improper waste disposal practices, such as open burning and dumping in rivers, pose environmental and health hazards. This study aims to analyze the waste generation characteristics in Pandansari Lor Village as a baseline for planning a community-based Reduce, Reuse, Recycl waste processing site/Tempat Pengolahan Sampah Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (TPS 3R). Method: A waste sampling method was conducted following the SNI 19-3964-1994 guidelines to measure the waste generation rate, density, and composition. Findings: Household waste data analysis shows that low-income households generate 39.1% of the total waste, while middle and high income households contribute 28.7% and 32.2%, respectively. The amount of waste per day was recorded at 9.73 kg on Friday for low income households, while for middle and high income households, the highest amount of waste occurred on Monday with 8.56 kg and 9.09 kg, respectively. Conclusion: These findings indicate fluctuations in waste generation patterns based on income levels, with certain days producing larger amounts of waste. Novelty/Originality of this article: This study proposes a 3R TPS model adapted to rural waste, focusing on organic waste composting and plastic recycling. This model is designed to increase community participation in waste management through community-based education and empowerment.

Abstract

Increasing coir fiber and bagasse ash waste can cause environmental degradation. Utilization of this waste in construction work is still rarely done. Coir fiber is a natural material with the highest coefficient of friction and tensile strength. Bagasse ash has a high silica content and is suitable for use as pozzolan. Soil stabilization with a combination of both is expected to improve the geotechnical properties of soft soil. This research aims to analyze the unconfined compressive strength (UCS) and secant modulus of soft clay stabilized with coir fiber-bagasse ash mix. Coir fiber as much as 0.75% and ash with varying contents: 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, and 10% of the total weight of the mixture. The specimens were cured for 28 days. UCS tests were conducted according to ASTM D2166-16 with the axial stress and strain relationship curve results to determine the UCS and secant modulus. The results showed that the UCS value and secant modulus value increased along with increasing bagasse ash content. The maximum value was achieved at 8% ash variation with a UCS value of 472.45 kPa (an increase of 382% from a soil-coir fiber mix) and a secant modulus value of 21.94 MPa (an increase of 571% from a mixture of soil and coir fiber). The research results show that this mixed soil is classified as hard soil, which can withstand high loads. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a reference for stabilizing soft soil in the field.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan informasi dalam beberapa dekade terakhir telah mengubah berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat, termasuk cara bertransaksi yang menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. e-commerce telah menjadi alternatif utama dalam jual beli produk komersial di Indonesia, memberikan dampak signifikan pada pedagang konvensional seperti di pusat perbelanjaan International Trade Center (ITC) Depok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh e-commerce terhadap pedagang konvensional di ITC Depok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik random sampling, melibatkan 30 pedagang konvensional sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan uji determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-commerce memiliki pengaruh positif namun lemah terhadap pedagang konvensional, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 28,4%, yang berarti 71,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya e-commerce memiliki pengaruh dan manfaat yang besar terhadap pedagang konvensional maka adopsi e-commerce oleh pedagang konvensional diperlukan untuk dapat meningkatkan penjualan dan memberikan manfaat yang lebih besar bagi bisnis mereka.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Make A Match terhadap hasil belajar Biologi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Kota Bima Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui desain Posttest Only Control Group Design. Populasi terdiri dari 3 kelas seluruhnya berjumlah 96 orang siswa. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara simple random sampling yang terpilih sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas eksperimen. Tehnik pengumpulan data hasil belajar menggunakan soal tes. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus Uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa sebelum mendapatkan perlakuan dan hasil belajar siswa yang setelah mendapatkan perlakuan (thitung = 3,378 ttabel = 1,684). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Make A Match terhadap hasil belajar Biologi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Kota Bima Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Post partum terjadi sejak pengeluaran hasil konsepsi, plasenta dan sampai dengan pemulihan fisiologis system organ. Ibu perlu untuk beradaptasi fisiologis seperti saat sebelum hamil. Masa ini merupakan masa yang rawan, rentan risiko terjadinya komplikasi postpartum seperti perdarahan post partum, infeksi masa nifas, anemia, pre eklampsia/eklampsia, dan depresi. Senam nifas dianggap sebagai alternatif kegiatan fisik tubuh yang tepat pada ibu post partum untuk menstabilkan, mempertahankan, meningkatkan serta membantu kekuatan otot perut pasca melahirkan, sehingga adaptasi fisiologi ibu dapat tercapai dengan baik. Tujuan: menganalisis pengaruh senam nifas terhadap kemampuan adaptasi fisiologi ibu postpartum primipara di Kabupaten Jombang. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif quasy eksperimental, desain yang digunakan “one group pretest-posttest. Sejumlah 18 responden yang dugunakan untuk penelian ini, alat ukur kemampuan sosialisasi menggunakan kuesioner. Uji statistik bivariate dianalisis melalui Wilcoxon dengan p<0.05. Hasil : Kemampuan adaptasi fisiologi sebelum perlakuan didapatkan hampir sebagian responden dalam ketegori kurang yaitu 38,9%, baik yaitu ada 37,8,3%, sangat baik 33.3%, sementara hasil setelah dilakukan dilakukan senam nifas menjadi meningkat yaitu didapatkan kurang 5,5%, baik 50,0 % dan sangat baik 44, 5% dengan nilai p: 0,000. Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh senam nifas terhadap kemampuan adaptasi fisik dan psikologis ibu postpartum primigarvida di Kabupaten Jombang

Abstract

One of the topics taught in lower grades is the mastery of unit, tens, and hundreds concepts. However, many teachers face difficulties in delivering these concepts effectively, including at SDN Teguhan 1 Paron Ngawi. Therefore, this study addresses this issue by employing flannel board media. With the use of flannel boards, students can effectively group unit, tens, and hundreds in their respective places. This research aims to enhance the understanding of number concepts among second-grade students at SDN Teguhan 1 Paron Ngawi using flannel board media. Understanding number concepts is crucial as it forms the foundation for mathematics learning at the elementary level and influences students' ability to comprehend more complex mathematical operations in the future. Flannel board media was chosen for its ability to provide concrete visual and manipulative experiences, aligning with the cognitive development characteristics of students at this age. The implications of this study include the development of more effective and inclusive mathematics teaching strategies, particularly within the context of basic education in Indonesia. The study recommends integrating flannel board media into the mathematics curriculum at SDN Teguhan 1 Paron Ngawi to enhance students' learning outcomes and deepen their understanding of number concepts.

Abstract

Background: This research investigates the impact of tofu industry wastewater on the aquatic environment at the Suyanto Tofu Factory, Mojokerto. The tofu industry produces liquid waste that contains high pH, Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), so it has the potential to pollute local rivers. Although the Suyanto Tofu Factory has wastewater treatment facilities, these facilities are currently not functioning, indicating an urgent need to design a new wastewater treatment plant. In this context, the research aims to determine the volume of wastewater produced, analyze BOD, COD, TSS and pH levels in wastewater, and design sustainable wastewater treatment facilities for the tofu industry. Methods: The method used is planning the design Constructed Wetland system with water hyacinth plants . This method is expected to minimize the environmental impact of tofu wastewater, protect the surrounding aquatic ecosystem, and comply with environmental regulations. Findings: This research found a wastewater treatment plant model using a pond system Sanita (Constructed Wetland ) which can reduce tofu waste effectively and sustainably is very important to maintain water quality and river ecosystems around the Suyanto Tofu Factory. Conclusion: The liquid waste at the Suyanto tofu factory has high levels of acidity and organic pollutants, with a pH of 3.91, TSS of 1050 mg/L, BOD of 2063 mg/L, and COD of 5135 mg/L. The factory uses a wastewater management design involving Sanita Pond processing with Eichhornia crassipes plants, effectively reducing the organic content in the waste. Novelty/Originality of this Study: By proposing a Constructed Wetland system for tofu industry wastewater treatment, this research introduces an innovative, sustainable solution tailored to local conditions, potentially revolutionizing waste management practices in small-scale food industries.

Abstract

Pendidik merupakan komponen yang mempengaruhi proses pendidikan yang harus diimbangi dengan kemampuan mengimplementasikan perangkat, media, srategi, metode maupun model pembelajaran. Salah satu model yang diterapkan adalah model pembelajaran think pair share. Hal ini bertujuan untuk membangun suasana belajar yang komunikatif antar siswa melalui saling berbagi informasi dalam kelompok. Hal ini didasari dari hasil observasi di kelas VII di SMP Negeri 14 Kota Bima bahwa hasil belajar Biologi siswa hanya terdapat 70% siswa belum mencapai ketuntasan. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa rendahnya hasil belajar siswa turut berpengarauh terhadap kurangnya keaktifan siswa mendominasi di kelas tersebut. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi eksperimen. Terdiri dari kelompok kontrol siswa kelas VII A dengan jumlah 33 siswa menerapkan model diskusi dan kelompok eksperimen kelas VII B dengan jumlah 33 siswa menerapkan model Think pair share. Instrument untuk mengamati aktivitas belajar siswa menggunakan lembar observasi sesuai dengan aspek aktivitas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh ada perbedaan persentase keaktivan siswa yang signifikan antara kelas control dan eksperimen, sehingga disimpulkan Model pembelajaran think pair share berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar afektif siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 14 Kota Bima tahun ajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

The decision to purchase or choose is a process in which consumers make a choice from various alternatives available, selecting the product that best fits their needs. Product quality, including performance, durability, and suitability, plays a significant role in this decision. In the context of higher education, product quality encompasses the study programs offered, innovations, and the added value provided to consumers, in this case, the students. STIEB "Perdana Mandiri" in Purwakarta is one of the most sought-after universities, and this study aims to understand how students make decisions when selecting a campus. This research uses a survey method with Likert scale questionnaires, with a sample of 150 individuals selected through purposive sampling. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The results of the study indicate that the factors of product, word of mouth, location, and price have a positive and significant effect on the decision to choose a campus and also influence student satisfaction. These findings highlight the importance of product quality and external factors in influencing students' decisions when selecting a higher education institution.
