Abstract

Industry 4.0 is the state of the industry in the face of the 21st century when there is a massive change through technology that opens a barrier between the digital and physical worlds. There will be many types of jobs lost, and new types of jobs will emerge. Faced with this, high mastery skills are required by graduates. In vocational high schools the mastery of skills is done by sending students directly into industrial work practices. But are IWP activities really able to be used to improve skills in dealing with Industry 4.0? What types of skills students must master when dealing with industry 4.0 This article will conduct a study of various related literature about IWP and industry 4.0. The results of the study will link the effects resulting from IWP activities and needs in industry 4.0. The results of the study indicate that the IWP program in vocational high schools needs some improvement to be able to produce vocational high school graduates who are ready to face industry 4.0.

Abstract

The study aims to determine student learning outcomes with direct and problem-based learning models,to determine differences in student outcomes with intelligence levels in direct and problem-based learning models, and analyze the relationship between intelligence levels and direct learning models and problem-based learning models. The method  used in this study was experimentation using factorial research design. The design used is 2x2 factorial design, as this design can be used to see students ' learning outcomes before they are given learning and after learning. The results of the study found that: (1) Student learning outcomes using PBL  models are significantly higher than those using MPL;(2) student learning outcomes who have higher mathematic logic intelligence using  PBL  models  are significantly higher than students who are taught with MPL models;(3)student learning outcomes who have lower mathematic logic intelligence using MPL models are significantly higher than students who are taught with PBL models;(4) There is a significant interaction between the level of intelligence of mathematical logic, learning models in student learning outcomes. The study concluded that:  (1)  The  PBL  learning  model  can  increase  the  student learning outcomes than MPL models;  (2)  Students  who  have  a  higer mathematic logic intelligence using PBL models, higher learning outcomes than student with MPL models;(3) student who have a lower mathematic logic intelligence using MPL models, higher learning outcomes than student with PBL model, and (4) there is an interaction between the level of intelligence of mathematical logic, learning models in student learning outcomes

Abstract

Quality improvement activities can help companies maintain and improve the quality of their products bymaking improvements to the level of being broken product to zero damage. PT. Gemilang Inti Sukses is aProfit-oriented Chicken Porong Home Industry engaged in the agribusiness sector, in the process of cuttingchickens there are several obstacles that can affect the level of quality of chicken slaughtered products,Therefore this study aims to determine the quality problems of chicken slaughter and increase the resultsproduct quality at PT. Gemilang Inti Sukses. The method that will be used in this research is the Six Sigmamethod on the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) concept. The results showed that ofthe 20 days sample that was 6,540 tails, it was found that the number of slaughtered chickens was 2,230chickens with the details of bruised chicken heads, broken chicken wings, bruised chicken body parts, lessclean feather extraction, and internal taking. not clean enough. While the company's performancemeasurement is at Sigma 3.85 level with a 9.292 DMPO value, which means that in 1 million pieces ofchicken there are 9,292 chickens that are deformed. From the Pareto diagram, it is known that 80% of thedefects are broken chicken wings and bruised chicken parts. Then from the cause and effect diagram it isknown that human resource factors are the main cause of broken chicken wing flaws and bruised chickenbody parts, therefore from the results of this study the company needs to improve quality with morediscipline towards human resource operational standards and conduct supervision and evaluation ofemployee performance. Abstract

AbstractIndonesia with a population of more than 200 million people, has an obligation to produce quality human resources to be able to compete with other countries. The problem currently faced is the high level of open unemployment, especially in SMK graduates. One way to improve the quality of human resources is by providing innovation in the learning process, especially in the field of vocational learning. Learning that can be applied in vocational education is learning based on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The purpose of this study is to describe more deeply about STEM learning as an innovative learning process that can be applied in vocational learning. The study was conducted using the literature review method of relevant research references and results, which were continued through focus group discussions (FGD). This study obtained the results of (1) STEM learning successfully applied both abroad and domestically; (2) it can improve students' creativity and critical thinking; (3) STEM learning can be integrated with learning models such as Project Based Learning, Problem Based Learning and cooperative learning; (4) Make students more confident in their future careers; and (5) STEM learning is very suitable for use in 21st century learning, especially in the vocational field so that STEM learning can be used as a solution in improving the quality of human resources and developing 21st century skills skills and in accordance with the objectives of vocational learning Keywords : STEM, Innovation, Learning, Vocational
