Abstract

Nursing practice is sometimes found that patient safety is carried out by nurses at work so that this raises concerns for the public to seek treatment. To determine the determinants that affect patient safety at work. This systematic review begins with a literature review from various sources. Articles were collected using search engines such as PubMed, google schoolar, science direct, ProQuest and Elsevier. The articles used in the study were published from 2018-2023. Articles were searched using keywords that have been determined by the researcher then articles were extracted based on inclusion and exclusion criteria using the PRISMA protocol. Thus, 15 articles were found that matched the critical appraisal criteria for analysis.Based on the articles collected, it was found that patient safety is a topic that has been the subject of much discussion in recent decades. Patient safety is defined as failure to accomplish what was planned or achieving something using the wrong means. In brief, there are two elements to patient safety: a plan and an aim. This means that there are two possible causes of error: the medical provider made the wrong plan and the patient was injured, and the provider made the right plan but there was an error in execution that caused the patient to be injured. These errors can occur due to several things, such as work environment disorders, fatigue, lack of team coordination, and communication failures.Communication, environmental conditions, workload, distraction at work, and staff education are factors that significantly affect patient safety at work. It is expected that nurses in providing health services must improve quality which will be able to provide comfort and quality service to patients in terms of improving patient safety.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension in productive age has become a health threat for all of us. In addition to the use of medical treatment for people with hypertension, hypertension can also be done with complementary therapies which are more effective and do not cause side effects in the treatment of hypertension. Complementary therapies that can be used are acupuncture and acupressure therapy. Purpose: Analyzing the effectiveness of acupuncture and acupressure therapy in reducing high blood pressure in the productive age population Methods: The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental study with a one group pretest and posttest design. This study was conducted on 24 samples by comparing the experimental class 1 which used acupuncture therapy, the experimental class 2 which used acupressure therapy and the control class which was not given any treatment, then an evaluation was carried out and the results were compared. Conclusion: Patients who used acupuncture therapy experienced a decrease in systolic blood pressure with a value of 17.73% and diastolic blood pressure with a value of 16.44% faster in reducing blood pressure compared to acupressure therapy which had an average value of 13.38% for systolic blood pressure . and 14.19% for diastolic blood pressure. By looking at these results it can be obtained that the most effective therapy in reducing high blood pressure is acupuncture therapy.

Abstract

Contaminated linen can produce large amounts of pathogenic microorganisms. In particular, handling dirty linen is very important to reduce the risk of nosocomial infections. The problems that occur due to nosocomial infections are very complex and can cause losses for patients and hospitals. In addition, unclean washing will leave stains and odors from previous patients so that it can cause discomfort to patients who use it later. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of laundry chemical doses on the quality of cleanliness of medical linen at the kediri district general hospital. The design of this study was an experimental quantitative study with a true experimental post test only design approach. With the focus of the research directed to analyze the effect of laundry chemical doses on the quality of cleanliness of medical linen at the kediri district general hospital with a sample of 74 samples taken using the accidental sampling technique. The findings showed that based on the mann whitney test, the value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained so that it can be concluded that there is an effect of the laundry chemical dose on the quality of the smell of medical linen at the kediri district general hospital. And also obtained a value of 0.001 <0.05 so that it can be concluded that there is an effect of the laundry chemical dose on the visual quality of medical linen at the kediri district general hospital. The provision of laundry chemicals on medical linen in both infectious and non-infectious categories can effectively improve the quality of cleanliness of medical linen and can be proven by the quality of the fresh smell and the visual quality that looks clean.

Data were collected using a questionnaire, data were analyzed using logistic regression test (α ≤ 0.05). The results showed that there were influences between the classes of pregnant women with complications of pregnant women (p = 0.036), and there was no effect of parity on complications of pregnant women (p = 0.321). There was no influence between the classes of pregnant women (p = 0.997) and Parity (p = 0.379) with postpartum care. There was no relationship between classes of pregnant women (p = 0.059) and Parity (p = 0.447) with early initiation of inclusion. Classes of pregnant women affect the complications of pregnant women, the full participation of pregnant women can be carried out in an effort to prevent pregnant women from reducing complications of pregnant women, so that the health of mothers and babies is getting better
