Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers to shape students' communication ethics at SMP Budi Utomo Binjai, as well as analyze the implementation of these strategies in students' daily communication, including in the digital era. The methodology used is qualitative with a focus on phenomenology, including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that IRE teachers use various strategies, including role-modeling, habituation, discussion, lectures, reprimand, motivation, use of digital technology, and collaboration with teachers. Based on these findings, the use of digital technology is found to be an integral part of the teachers' strategy. Furthermore, the study reveals that contributing factors to the success of ethical communication include teacher role-modeling, teamwork, and active student participation. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors can be seen through the decline in students' awareness and the role of parents. This study recommends developing teachers' creativity in digital learning and fostering collaboration between schools and students to optimize student communication in the modern era.

Abstract

This study explores the internalization of moral values contained in Rasysy al-Barad, a classical commentary (syarḥ) on Al-Adab al-Mufrad by Imam al-Bukhārī, through the lens of classical text-based information literacy. The urgency of this research stems from the declining moral behavior among students in Islamic educational institutions, prompting the need to return to foundational ethical texts rooted in prophetic traditions. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with a hermeneutic method, this study analyzes the contents of Rasysy al-Barad and examines the stages of value internalization aligned with the framework of information literacy: accessing, evaluating, and integrating information. The findings reveal that the book emphasizes values such as honesty, trustworthiness, respect, patience, modesty, and compassion. These values are interpreted in relation to contemporary social contexts, reflecting not only textual fidelity but also moral relevance. The study concludes that classical Islamic texts like Rasysy al-Barad function not only as religious knowledge resources but also as character-building tools within Islamic education. It recommends incorporating such texts into values-based curricula to foster moral sensitivity and critical religious thinking (tafaqquh fī ad-dīn), ultimately producing intellectually and ethically grounded individuals.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the still less than optimal community participation in road infrastructure development, which is seen from the damaged road conditions and the minimal involvement of residents in the planning process to the implementation of development. This study aims to determine community participation in road infrastructure development in Panreng Village, Baranti District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The population of this study was 1,501 family cards and a sample of 91 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and purposive sampling techniques. The type of research used is quantitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, questionnaires, and literature studies. Data analysis techniques were with the help of IMB SPSS statistics 26. The results of this study from the results of the questionnaire obtained a recapitulation of community participation variables of 65% in the "Good" category. Recapitulation of infrastructure development variables of 64% in the "Good" category. Factors that influence community participation that influence community participation are the willingness/awareness factor of 80%, education factor 68%, income factor 76%, leadership factor 76%, and facility/equipment factor 62%.

Abstract

The role of Baitul Mal in financing Dayah education in Aceh Singkil Regency and Subulussalam City faces several problems, including the limited and uneven allocation of ZIS funds for Dayah, especially in remote areas, the lack of coordination and transparency in fund distribution hampers the effectiveness of distribution, and low public awareness of ZIS contributions to Dayah education reduces the potential for fundraising. This study uses a library research method. The main data sources in this study are reference books that discuss Baitul Mal, zakat, infaq, sedekah (ZIS), and Dayah education. The findings underscore that (1) Baitul Mal in Aceh Singkil and Subulussalam channels ZIS contributions through mosques, zakat agencies, and digital platforms, yet dedicates only 20–30 percent to Dayah, resulting in uneven distribution and limited transparency; (2) further optimization is impeded by weak coordination with Dayah administrators, opaque distribution processes, limited public awareness of ZIS’s impact on Dayah education, and constrained administrative capacity; and (3) the allocated funds have fostered meaningful improvements—upgrading facilities, empowering teachers through professional development, refining curricula, and awarding scholarships to deserving students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Policy Implementation and to find out the supporting factors and inhibiting factor that affect the Implementation of Waste Handling Policies in Panca Rijang District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The population in this study was the total population in Panca Rijang District which amounted to 34.433 residents and the sample in this study was 100 respondents determined by using the Slovin formula and purposive sampling technique. The type of research used is quantitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, questionnaires, and literature studies. The data analysis technique is with the help of the IBM SPSS statistics 25 application. The results of this study indicate the results of the recapitulation of the policy implementation variables with a percentage of 75% in the good category and recapitulation of the waste handling variables with a percentage of 70,64% in the good category. Supporting factors and inhibiting factors for policy implementation on waste handling with a percentage of 72.7% are in the good category. Policy implementation affects waste handling, because the sifnificant value of 0.000 < 0,05, the Ho is rejected, so Ha is accepted. Supporting factors and inhibiting factors affect the implementation of waste handling policies, because the significant value of 0.000 < 0,05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profesionalisme kerja aparatur dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik di Kantor Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Desa, Perempuan, dan Perlindungan Anak Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan melibatkan 39 responden dari total populasi 39 orang melalui rumus sampling jenuh atau non probability sampling. Selanjutnya, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji validitas, reliabilitas, serta analisis linear sederhana dengan menggunakan software IBM SPSS Statistik 25. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) Rekapitulasi variabel X, dengan persentase rata rata keseluruhan mencapai (69%), yang mencerminkan tingkat profesionalisme kerja yang tergolong cukup baik, 2) Rekapitulasi variabel Y, dengan tingkat kualitas pelayanan publik secara keseluruhan berada pada persentase rata rata (67%), yang menandakan tingkat pelayanan yang cukup baik namun masih menyisakan ruang untuk perbaikan

Abstract

In an effort to improve the performance and professionalism of employees, the Social Service of Bengkulu Province annually conducts an evaluation or assessment to determine the best employees as a form of appreciation for the performance of these employees. However, in its implementation, this process experiences obstacles in terms of objectivity and efficiency in conducting assessments, because it still uses a manual process. Therefore, to overcome these problems, this research develops a Decision Support System (SPK) using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to increase objectivity and efficiency in assessing the best employees. This system is developed using PHP programming language and using MySQL database. Based on the results of data testing as many as 5 alternative employees, the results obtained one employee with the highest score on behalf of Zulkifli with a value of 0.931 and declared the best employee

Abstract

SMK Negeri 2 of Bengkulu City is one of the State Vocational High Schools in Bengkulu City that continues to strive to improve the quality of its students' academic evaluation. So far, the assessment of student academic achievement still refers to the average value. The school sometimes has difficulty in seeing student development and providing appropriate student motivation based on the results of the level of student academic achievement that has been obtained. Clustering student data using the K-Means Method in determining the level of academic achievement at SMK Negeri 2 of Bengkulu City can provide information on the level of student academic achievement in each subject which is divided into 3 groups, namely high, medium and low levels of academic achievement and can help teachers monitor student academic development, identify student learning patterns, and provide appropriate interventions according to the needs of each group. In order to facilitate the process of clustering student data to determine the level of academic achievement using the k-means method, a desktop-based application was built using the Visual Basic .Net programming language. In addition, this application also contains graphic visuals of the grouping results as output from the application. Based on the test data used, on the grade X Indonesian Language subject data for the Even Semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year of the Mechanical Engineering Expertise Program of 23 students, the results showed that the high level of academic achievement (Cluster C1) was 7 students, the moderate level of academic achievement (Cluster C2) was 9 students, and the low level of academic achievement (Cluster C3) was 7 students

Abstract

Abstract: Civil Servants (PNS) have an important role as public servants who must provide fair and quality services. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to have human resources (HR) who have the capability to carry out their duties effectively, efficiently, productively, and professionally. The current employee performance assessment process is sometimes still subjective, this can be seen from the low productivity of employees in government agencies and the results of employee performance measurements have not been utilized optimally. One way is to use the Clustering technique with the K-Means algorithm which has a high level of accuracy in measuring objects. The final result of this study is a system that can cluster performance quality into 3 parts where the Best Performance Quality consists of 8 people, Fair Performance Quality consists of 1 person and Poor Performance Quality consists of 6 people. Keywords: Public Service, Service Quality. Abstrak: Kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi telah membekali para pengambil keputusan dengan perangkat pengambilan keputusan yang cepat dan tepat. Sistem komputer yang terintegrasi dengan pengetahuan ahli telah membentuk metode yang efektif untuk pengolahan data dan penyajian informasi, yang penting untuk pembuatan kebijakan. Evaluasi penilaian kinerja pegawai sangat penting bagi keberhasilan organisasi, dan Badan Kepegawaian Provinsi Bengkulu memerlukan sistem evaluasi kinerja yang akurat. Metode evaluasi konvensional seringkali tidak efisien, sehingga memerlukan sistem yang terstruktur dan objektif. Metode Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment membantu meminimalkan kekurangan evaluasi dengan menentukan kombinasi kriteria yang optimal. Implementasi sistem menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode System Development Life Cycle. Dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan adalah evaluasi penilaian kinerja pegawai menggunakan Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment dapat dilakukan dengan baik dan untuk objektivitas serta peningkatan pengambilan keputusan dalam manajemen kepegawaian Kata kunci: Kualitas Pelayanan, Penilaian

Abstract

Abstract: Advances in science and technology have equipped decision makers with fast and accurate decision-making tools. Computer systems integrated with expert knowledge have formed effective methods for data processing and information presentation, which are essential for policy making. Employee performance assessment evaluation is critical to the success of an organization, and the Bengkulu Provincial Civil Service Agency requires an accurate performance evaluation system. Conventional evaluation methods are often inefficient, requiring a structured and objective system. The Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment method helps minimize evaluation deficiencies by determining the optimal combination of criteria. The system implementation uses the PHP programming language and the method used in this study is the System Development Life Cycle method.
