Abstract

In the digital era, schools are increasingly required to modernize administrative processes to meet the demands of efficiency and quality service. This study aims to examine the implementation of digital performance management to improve educational administration and staff performance. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and document analysis, then analyzed following Miles’ interactive model of data condensation, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that digital performance management has improved administrative workflows by shifting from manual to real-time, structured, and paperless processes, resulting in more efficient, accurate, and transparent services. Service quality improved across speed, reliability, responsiveness, and accountability. Challenges remain, including variations in staff digital competence, dependence on ICT infrastructure, and occasional network instability. Recommended strategies include ongoing staff training, technological infrastructure enhancement, periodic system evaluation, and strong digital leadership. Digital performance management plays a strategic role in enhancing school administration quality and provides valuable insights for the digital transformation of educational administration. These findings are expected to contribute to policy development on the digitalization of secondary school educational administration.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of a numeracy literacy habituation program in schools using a descriptive qualitative research method through library research. The main focus of this study is to understand various aspects that influence the success of the numeracy literacy program, including reading habituation, educational games, the provision of supporting facilities such as reading corners and educational posters, and the socialization of the program through In-House Training for teachers. Data was obtained from relevant literature sources that examine the numeracy literacy habituation program as well as best practices in its application in schools. The results of the study indicate that reading habituation and educational games can significantly improve students' literacy and numeracy skills. Additionally, strengthening teachers' capacity through continuous training is essential to ensure effective implementation. The use of supporting facilities, such as varied reading corners and informative educational posters, strengthens numeracy literacy learning outside the classroom. This study also emphasizes the important role of parents and the community in supporting the success of this program. By involving various stakeholders, it is hoped that the numeracy literacy program can be optimally implemented to enhance students' competencies in both fields.

Abstract

Education is a dynamic sector that continually undergoes policy changes in line with societal demands and the pace of global development. These policy shifts directly impact the role of teachers, both in their pedagogical functions and in maintaining professional standards. Teachers are required to adapt to new regulations to perform their duties effectively. Failure to adapt may lead to decreased performance, ultimately affecting the quality of classroom learning. The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, which adopts a deep learning approach, demands teachers to adjust their competencies to carry out learning activities in accordance with its requirements. To address these challenges, the school implements In House Training (IHT) and academic supervision as strategies for professional teacher development. This study aims to analyze the role of IHT and academic supervision in improving teacher performance in the domain of pedagogical competence across three key aspects: lesson planning, instructional implementation, and learning evaluation. This research employs a qualitative case study approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The main informants include school supervisors, the school principal, the vice principal for curriculum, and teachers. The results indicate that IHT significantly enhances teachers’ understanding of lesson plan development, differentiated instruction, and formative assessment. Meanwhile, academic supervision ensures the implementation of these competencies through pre-observation, classroom observation, reflection, and follow-up activities. Overall, there is a substantial improvement in teachers’ abilities to design relevant instructional materials, apply active learning strategies, utilize digital media, and conduct more systematic learning assessments.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal supervision on teacher performance at SMAN 1 Cikarang Pusat, Bekas Regency, West Java. In the VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) era, the world of education is facing rapid changes that require continuous adaptation to improve the quality of teachers as a key factor in achieving effective learning. However, preliminary studies show gaps in teacher performance, especially in learning planning, learning delivery, interpersonal relationships, and assessment methods. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational regression method to test the relationship between principal supervision and teacher performance. Data was collected through a questionnaire involving 63 teachers as respondents. The results showed that the supervision of the principal had a significant effect on teacher performance, with a positive correlation coefficient of 0.869 and an R-Square value of 55.8%, which showed that more than half of the variation in teacher performance could be explained by supervision. However, there are still gaps in implementation, especially in the implementation and follow-up of supervision. This research highlights the importance of a structured supervision program, continuous professional development, and active involvement of teachers in the supervision process. These findings contribute to the development of a more effective supervision model to improve teacher performance and ultimately improve the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of school culture on teacher performance at SMAIT Mentari Ilmu Karawang. A positive school culture is expected to improve teacher performance, which in turn will affect the quality of education in the school. This study uses a quantitative approach with a regressional survey method to analyze the relationship between school culture as an independent variable and teacher performance as a dependent variable. Data was collected through a questionnaire filled out by 35 teachers. The results of the analysis showed that school culture had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.719 and an R-Square value of 51.7%, indicating that more than half of the variation in teacher performance can be explained by school culture. However, this study also found that the dimension of teacher and student involvement in school activities still needs to be improved. The implication of this research is the importance of creating an inclusive and collaborative school culture to improve teacher performance. The suggestion for schools is to strengthen teacher and student engagement and provide greater space for participation in decision-making to improve school culture and support teacher performance improvement more effectively.
