Abstract

Cooperative sustainability is a critical factor in ensuring operational survival and cooperative contribution to its members and surrounding communities. The study aims to study the sustainability of the General University of Soedirman Employee Cooperative (KPRI KOSUKU) through a life cycle analysis approach of the cooperative. This research uses a method of cooperative life cycle analysis consisting of five main phases: (1) economic justification; (2) organizational design; (3) growth, success, and heterogeneity; (4) introduction and introspection; and (5) choice. The analysis uses the annual report of KPRI KOSUKU from 2012 to 2022. The results of the research show that KPRi KOSUKU, through the analysis of the life cycle of cooperation, has passed through these 5 stages and is currently at the maturity stage of the lifecycle of cooperation. Data for this analysis was obtained through interviews with cooperative managers, analysis of financial reports, and literature surveys. This cooperation has managed to build a stable market share, offer a variety of services, and generate consistent profits. Factors that contribute to sustainability include efficient management, active participation of members, and adaptation to environmental change. However, the study also identifies some of the challenges that KPRI KOSUKU may face in the future, such as increasing competition and changing regulations. Therefore, these cooperatives need to continue to develop sustainable strategies, such as product diversification, improved services, and the use of information technology, to ensure their operational sustainability. This research is expected to provide guidance for KPRI KOSUKU and other cooperatives in managing their sustainability. By understanding the life cycle of a cooperative and the factors that influence it, the cooperative can take appropriate action to maintain sustainability and continue to benefit its members and surrounding communities

Abstract

Soil Retaining Wall is one of the constructions used to hold the soil or provide stability to the soil that has different heights. Soil retaining wall function to support the soil as well prevent it from the danger of landslides, so it does not experience landslides both due to the load of rainwater, the weight of the soil itself, or as a result of the load acting on it. Based on the way to achieve stability, the soil retaining wall can be classified into several types, namely gravity wall, cantilever wall, counterfort wall, buttress wall. In this research, we plan gravity-type soil retaining wall. Planning this gravity-type soil retaining wall is considered necessary because in today's competitive era, in addition to accuracy and accuracy in planning, speed in calculating is also needed. Therefore, using this program is expected to increase competitiveness for planners, especially planning related to soil retaining walls.

Abstract

From data from BPS (Central Statistics Agency) Jambi City, the population of Jambi City in 2022 is 619,553 people with an area of 205.38 km2, has 11 sub-districts. Safira Housing is one of the housing complexes located in Talang Bakung Village, Paal Merah District, Jambi City. Population Safira housing ± 455 people. The increase in trips made by a number of Safira housing communities will cause traffic jams during peak hours such as when leaving and returning from work. This research method uses multiple linear regression with independent variables consisting of the number of family members X1, the number of family members who work X2, number of family members attending school x3, with trip generation as variable Y and then analyzed using the SPSS application. The variable that has a dominant influence on the dependent (dependent) variable is based on the standardized coefficient beta value, namely the variable number of family members attending school/college (X3), number of family members (X1), and number of working family members (X2). The trip generation analysis model at Safira Housing is: Y 2.257 + 0.275 X1 + 0.227 X2 + 0.528 From this model, the factors that influence the generation of Safira Housing trips are obtained, namely the number of family members (X1), the number of family members who work (X2), the number of family members who go to school/college (X3). Based on the R Square value of 0.621, this means that 62.1% of trip generation at Safira Housing is explained by the independent variables in the form of number of family members, number of family members working, number of family members attending school/university.

Abstract

Jalan D. I. Panjaitan in the city of Jambi is a vital road with a 2 lane 2 way (2/2) road type, where there are some roads that use permanent road dividers and some that do not use road dividers. The condition of the road which includes residential areas, shops, schools, hospitals, places of worship, and so on causes road traffic to develop according to the conditions around the road. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of U-turn Volume and Degree of Saturation on Jl. D. I, Panjaitan, knows the level of service on Jl. D. I, Panjaitan. The conclusion is that based on the research results that have been calculated, it can be obtained that the U-turn volume influences the degree of saturation (DS) with a positive correlation, so the highest degree of saturation is obtained with a correlation coefficient value of 0.89. The coefficient value shows that the greater the U-turn volume. the greater the influence on the degree of saturation (DS). So the level of vehicle road service on Jl. DI Panjaitan with a road service level volume of 0.56 can have a service level of C. Where the flow is stable, but the speed of vehicle movement is controlled.

Abstract

The Palembang - Jambi highway is a very busy route. Along the road at the entrance to Jambi City, Paal 10 - Simpang 4 Paal 10, Jambi City is passed by many vehicles because this road is one of the roads that is open to pass through heavy vehicles carrying loads. This is also one of the causes of rapid damage to flexible road pavement. The aim of this research is to determine the average daily traffic volume of vehicles passing through the asphalt pavement at the entrance gate of Jambi City, Paal 10 - intersection 4 Paal 10, Jambi City, to find out the effect of vehicle load on the level of road damage on the entrance gate of Jambi City. Paal 10 – Simpang 4 Paal 10 Jambi City. This research method uses guidelines from Bina Marga Pd T-14-2003. Average daily traffic data (LHR) on the entrance road to the city of Jambi Paal 10 – intersection 4 Paal 10 Jambi City on Saturday is 6,702 vehicles, on Sunday it is 6650 vehicles and on Monday it is 6719 vehicles. From this data, the total LHR from the vehicle analysis results is 1115 vehicles/hour. and the results of the Truck Factor calculation are 3.775 > 1, where this value shows that the condition of the damage to the road at the entrance to the city of Jambi Paal 10 - intersection 4 Paal 10 Jambi city is due to the excessive load of vehicles passing through it. The excessive load factor that occurs causes 2 types of damage, namely groove distortion with a high level of damage and alligator cracks.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in Natural Sciences and Social Sciences (IPAS) at elementary schools. The study involved 23 fourth-grade students from Sompokan Primary School. This research utilized a one-group pretest-posttest design. Student learning outcomes were obtained through pretest and posttest exams consisting of 20 short-answer questions. The pretest results showed an average score of 56.43 with a standard deviation of 12.251, while the posttest results showed improvement with an average score of 83.70 and a standard deviation of 6.071. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test indicated that both pretest and posttest data followed a normal distribution, with significance values of 0.200 and 0.120, respectively. The correlation between pretest and posttest scores was 0.683, statistically significant (p < 0.001). Paired samples t-test showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (t = -14.156, p = 0.000). These findings suggest that the use of E-LKPD based on PBL positively influences the improvement of student learning outcomes in IPAS for fourth-grade elementary school students. This method enhances interactivity and student engagement in learning, facilitating deeper understanding and critical thinking skills. Thus, E-LKPD based on PBL can be an effective strategy to enhance the quality of elementary education.
