Abstract

Kegiatan penambangan terbuka sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi hidrologi, terutama dalam pengelolaan air permukaan agar tidak mengganggu operasional. Salah satu komponen penting dalam sistem penyaliran adalah paritan yang berfungsi mengalirkan limpasan air hujan secara terkendali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan dimensi paritan yang optimal berdasarkan debit rencana sehingga mampu mengalirkan air secara efektif tanpa menimbulkan erosi maupun sedimentasi berlebih. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis hidrologi untuk memperoleh debit rencana dari data curah hujan, dilanjutkan dengan analisis hidraulika menggunakan pendekatan persamaan Manning guna menentukan kapasitas aliran saluran. Variabel yang dikaji mencakup luas daerah tangkapan hujan, koefisien limpasan, kemiringan saluran, serta kekasaran permukaan. Proses optimasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan beberapa alternatif dimensi paritan hingga diperoleh kombinasi yang memenuhi kriteria kapasitas aliran dan kestabilan saluran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi paritan yang dirancang berdasarkan debit rencana mampu meningkatkan efisiensi sistem penyaliran serta meminimalkan potensi genangan pada area tambang. Selain itu, desain yang optimal juga berkontribusi dalam mengurangi risiko kerusakan saluran akibat kecepatan aliran yang tidak terkendali. Dengan demikian, pendekatan ini dapat dijadikan acuan dalam perencanaan sistem penyaliran tambang terbuka yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

Edge detection is a crucial process in digital image processing, particularly in automated visual inspection systems for packaging quality control. Cardboard packaging used in traditional food products often experiences deformation due to mechanical stress or poor distribution, thus requiring a reliable damage detection method. This study aims to compare the performance of five classical edge detection algorithms, Canny, Sobel, Prewitt, Roberts, and Laplacian of Gaussian (LoG), in identifying contours and structural deformations in product packaging images. Data were obtained through the acquisition of five cardboard images using a high-resolution smartphone camera. The processing steps include image conversion to grayscale, application of the edge detection algorithm, and quantitative evaluation of the results. The evaluation was conducted using three main metrics: Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and processing time. The results show that the Sobel algorithm provides the best performance, with the highest PSNR and lowest MSE values consistently, despite having the longest processing time. In contrast, the Canny algorithm shows the highest efficiency in speed, but with low detection quality. Prewitt and LoG yielded relatively balanced intermediate results between accuracy and efficiency, while Roberts performed moderately across all aspects. These findings indicate that algorithm selection should be tailored to system requirements. Sobel is more appropriate for applications that prioritise accuracy, while Canny is recommended for real-time systems. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Non-Performing Loan (NPL) on profitability as measured by Return on Assets (ROA) at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. The research method used is a quantitative approach with an associative design. The data utilized are secondary data in the form of annual financial statements of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk during the observation period. The data analysis techniques include multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing consisting of t-test and F-test. The results show that partially, the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has a positive and significant effect on Return on Assets (ROA), while Non-Performing Loan (NPL) has a negative and significant effect on Return on Assets (ROA). Simultaneously, CAR and NPL have a significant effect on ROA. These findings indicate that higher capital adequacy and lower levels of non-performing loans will improve the bank’s profitability.In conclusion, capital management and credit risk control are crucial factors in enhancing the financial performance of banks. Therefore, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is expected to maintain an optimal CAR level and reduce NPL ratios to improve profitability.

Abstract

Implementing a website-based information system as a system for processing student grades is a way to facilitate monitoring of student progress. Monitoring activities have a very important role for teachers, students, and parents/guardians. By implementing website-based student assessments, the system for processing student grades is recorded manually using spreadsheets. This research uses research and development methods through the application of four method stages, namely exploration, development, testing, and dissemination. The results of implementing a website-based information system as a student grade processing system aim to create a website-based assessment system, a precise and accurate student grade processing system. The research results show that the use of a website-based student assessment system can speed up the teacher's work in monitoring student development. Apart from that, it can make it easier for parents to monitor their students at school. The use of a website-based assessment system has proven effective in monitoring student progress. Therefore, it can be concluded that a website-based assessment system can be a useful system in the world of education, especially for monitoring student progress in school

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has had a significant impact on various business sectors, including service businesses and vehicle repair workshops. The Vespa Jangkar Kudus Workshop still manages cash flow and inventory data manually, which causes various problems, such as recording errors, reporting delays, difficulties in monitoring stock, and the risk of data loss. This study aims to design and implement a web-based cash flow and inventory information system to improve operational efficiency and simplify financial and inventory data management. The community service methods used include observation, interviews, and documentation, while the system development method applied is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model. The developed system has features for managing financial income and expenses, managing stock, generating reports, and providing user access rights for admins and owners. The community service results show that the implemented system is able to simplify the transaction recording process, improve the accuracy of financial and inventory data management, and support real-time data monitoring. In addition, this system also helps improve operational effectiveness and supports more appropriate decision-making in workshop management. Thus, the implementation of this web-based information system is expected to improve the quality of business management at the Vespa Jangkar Kudus Workshop.

Abstract

The study of sports injuries is a crucial and captivating topic that requires thorough exploration. Understanding and effectively managing sports injuries is essential for coaches, instructors, and athletes. However, there is limited awareness among sports practitioners, particularly regarding flat foot conditions. Therefore, this research aims to identify common injuries among athletes with flat feet through a comprehensive survey. Employing a quantitative descriptive method with a survey-based approach. This study included a sample of 89 male athletes who sought treatment for sports-related injuries at massage clinics. Data collection techniques encompassed observations, interviews, questionnaires, and measurement tests. Purposive sampling was utilised for participant selection. Wet footprint tests, stature metres, weight scales, and questionnaires were employed for data collection. Data analysis employed the percentage formula and was supported by Excel software. The findings indicated that athletes with flat feet were more susceptible to knee injuries (69%), ankle injuries (31%), external causes of injury (22%), internal causes of injury (52%), and overuse injuries (26%). These results imply that athletes with flat feet who seek treatment at massage clinics commonly experience knee and ankle injuries, with internal trauma being the leading cause. This study contributes to a better understanding of injury identification among individuals with flat feet, aiding in the selection of appropriate sports activities. Limitations of this study include a single research site, an uneven distribution of sports disciplines, and a male-only sample. Future research should employ more comprehensive methods and ensure representative samples across various sports to facilitate proper generalisation of the data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyajikan pengembangan 'Scout Connect', sebuah aplikasi mobile yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan literasi digital di kalangan Pramuka Penegak dan Pandega di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menjawab kebutuhan akan informasi kepramukaan yang mudah diakses dan dapat diandalkan di era digital. Dengan menggunakan metodologi yang menggabungkan UML untuk desain sistem, MySQL untuk manajemen basis data, dan Figma untuk pembuatan prototipe UI/UX, aplikasi ini menawarkan fitur-fitur seperti forum kolaboratif, konten edukasi, dan modul pembelajaran interaktif. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam literasi digital dan pengetahuan kepramukaan di antara para pengguna, dengan 75% melaporkan peningkatan pemahaman materi kepramukaan setelah satu bulan penggunaan. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa 'Scout Connect' secara efektif menjembatani kesenjangan informasi digital dalam pendidikan kepramukaan, mendorong komunitas kepramukaan yang lebih aktif dan terinformasi. Platform inovatif ini sejalan dengan tujuan Gerakan Pramuka Indonesia untuk membina generasi muda yang melek teknologi dan patriotik di abad ke-21. Kata kunci: Scout Connect, literasi digital, aplikasi mobile, e-learning, prototipe Figma.
