Shrimp cultivation is one type of cultivation that has a significant impact on the social status of coastal communities. Shrimp farming traditionally faces several challenges, including water pollution, imbalances in temperature, feed, media, and costs. Monitoring the condition of shrimp in the cultivation environment is very necessary to determine the condition of shrimp in the water. Classification of shrimp and fish is the first step in monitoring the condition of shrimp underwater. This research proposes the development of a method for classifying shrimp and fish underwater using feature extraction and machine learning. The flow of this research is: (1) preparing data from ROI detection results, (2) extraction process of morphometric characteristics P and T, (3) calculating the value of morphometric characteristics P and T, (4) data breakdown for training data and testing data, (5) Model creation process, data training and data testing using SVM, RF, DT, and KNN, (6) Evaluation of classification results using a confusion matrix. From this research, it was found that the Random Forest method obtained the highest accuracy, namely 0.93. From this matrix, the values obtained are True Positive = 349, False Positive = 28, True Negative = 223, False Negative = 0.

The advancement of information technology has driven educational institutions to enhance the quality of their services, including Guidance and Counseling (GC). At SMP Negeri 1 Bae Kudus, GC services are still carried out using conventional methods, encompassing counseling submissions, documentation, and reporting activities. This situation leads to several challenges, such as delays in case handling, potential data loss, and difficulties in tracking students’ counseling histories.This Field Work Practice aims to design and implement a web-based Guidance and Counseling Information System to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency of GC services at SMP Negeri 1 Bae Kudus. The system is developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the waterfall model, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and system maintenance. The proposed system enables students to submit counseling requests online, while guidance counselors can manage counseling schedules, document counseling outcomes, maintain students’ counseling records, and automatically generate reports. The implementation of this web-based system is expected to streamline GC service processes, enhance the performance of guidance counselors, and support the digital transformation of educational services in response to the evolving information technology era.

Kasus kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan anak masih tinggi, namun proses pelaporan dan pendataan di tingkat daerah, khususnya di Dinas Sosial P3AP2KB Kabupaten Kudus, masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga kurang efektif dan sulit diakses masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan sistem informasi pengaduan dan pendataan kasus berbasis web guna meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi tahap persiapan, perancangan, pengembangan sistem dengan pendekatan Waterfall, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Sistem yang dikembangkan menyediakan fitur pengaduan daring, pelacakan laporan, pengelolaan data, verifikasi, serta pembuatan laporan otomatis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu meningkatkan kemudahan akses pelaporan, mempercepat pengelolaan data, serta mengurangi kesalahan pencatatan. Survei kepuasan pengguna menunjukkan nilai berkisar antara 88,57% hingga 100% pada seluruh aspek penilaian. Dengan demikian, sistem ini efektif dalam mendukung peningkatan pelayanan dan penanganan kasus di instansi terkait.

Cosmetology services play an important role in enhancing an individual's self-confidence. In Kudus Regency, many makeup service providers still rely on manual ordering methods, which are prone to recording errors, limited information on service availability, and miscommunication between customers and service providers. This condition hampers operational efficiency and reduces the level of customer satisfaction. This research aims to develop a digital-based make-up service portal to improve service quality and customer satisfaction, which consists of the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing and maintenance The research method used is qualitative research; data is collected through in-depth interviews with customers, which consists of the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system developed has main features such as online ordering and service catalogues, as well as CSI-based customer satisfaction evaluations that measure aspects of price, service quality, and user experience. Evaluation using the CSI method shows a customer satisfaction level of 88% with 300 respondents, which indicates that this system is effective in improving user experience and operational efficiency of service providers. In conclusion, the development of this digital-based make-up service portal has succeeded in increasing customer satisfaction and the competitiveness of make-up service providers in Kudus Regency. Further development recommendations are integration with digital payment systems and the use of artificial intelligence technology for more personalized service recommendations.

User reviews on the Google Play Store contain valuable opinions that can be utilised to evaluate application quality, including the Locket Widget application. This study aims to classify user review sentiment into positive, neutral, and negative categories using the Naive Bayes Classifier algorithm with Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) weighting. The data were collected through web scraping, resulting in 589 user reviews. The dataset then underwent preprocessing, sentiment labelling, TF-IDF weighting, and sentiment classification. The model was evaluated using an 80:20 stratified train–test split. The results showed that the proposed model achieved an accuracy of 76.27%, with a weighted precision of 0.69, weighted recall of 0.76, and weighted F1-score of 0.72. The findings indicate that the combination of TF-IDF and the Naïve Bayes classifier is effective in classifying positive and negative user review sentiments. However, the model was unable to effectively classify the neutral class, resulting in an F1-score of 0.00 for this category. This finding indicates that further improvements are needed to enhance the model's ability to distinguish neutral sentiment from positive and negative classes.

The increasing variety of furniture products available in the market makes it difficult for consumers to identify products that best match their preferences. Conventional product selection is often carried out manually, requiring consumers to compare product specifications one by one, which is time-consuming and may lead to less appropriate purchasing decisions. This study proposes a web-based decision support system for furniture product recommendation by integrating the Item-Based Collaborative Filtering (IBCF) method with min–max normalisation. The recommendation process utilises historical user ratings to identify similarities among products, while min–max normalisation is applied to standardise product attributes, including price, category, material, colour, and size, into a comparable scale. To address the cold-start problem for newly added products with insufficient rating data, a content-based similarity mechanism is incorporated into the recommendation process. The system was developed using a dataset consisting of 322 furniture products, 50 consumers, and 1,099 rating transactions. System functionality was evaluated using black-box testing, while user acceptance was assessed through user acceptance testing (UAT) involving ten respondents. The evaluation results show that all primary system functions operated as expected and achieved an overall UAT score of 88.0%, indicating that the proposed system is acceptable and capable of assisting consumers in selecting furniture products based on their preferences. This study contributes by integrating collaborative filtering, multi-attribute normalisation, and a content-based cold-start mechanism into a single recommendation framework for furniture product recommendation.

Indonesia frequently faces hydrometeorological disasters such as floods, resulting in significant asset and material losses. This condition is exacerbated in areas like Setrokalangan Village, which lacks mitigation technology infrastructure. This research aims to develop a flood prevention system that integrates a responsive interface with cloud-based data management, prioritizing reliability and user experience. The methodology includes implementing human-centered design for the interface, building a dynamic database, and optimizing cloud infrastructure for high availability. The findings confirm that the platform is capable of presenting real-time water level information and distributing warning notifications through various communication channels. Dashboard accessibility has been tested across devices (desktop, tablet, smartphone) with consistent performance under high traffic. Kondisi ini diperparah di daerah seperti Desa Setrokalangan yang belum memiliki infrastruktur teknologi mitigasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pencegahan banjir yang mengintegrasikan antarmuka responsif dengan manajemen data berbasis cloud, dengan mengutamakan keandalan dan pengalaman pengguna. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi penerapan Human-Centered Design untuk antarmuka, pembangunan basis data dinamis, serta optimalisasi infrastruktur cloud untuk ketersediaan layanan yang tinggi. Temuan penelitian mengonfirmasi bahwa platform mampu menyajikan informasi tinggi muka air secara real-time serta menyalurkan notifikasi bahaya melalui berbagai media komunikasi. Aksesibilitas dashboard telah diuji pada berbagai perangkat (desktop, tablet, smartphone) dengan kinerja yang konsisten di bawah lalu lintas pengguna yang tinggi. Kesimpulannya, penggabungan desain antarmuka yang edukatif dan manajemen backend berbasis cloud secara efektif menyediakan sistem peringatan dini yang presisi bagi warga desa.

Inventory management plays a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction in building material stores.Sinar Mas Putra Building Store, Jepara, experiences difficulties in determining restocking priorities because inventory decisions are primarily based on estimation and personal experience, which may result in stock shortages or overstock conditions.This study aims to develop a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to support objective restocking decisions.The system evaluates products based on five criteria: stock quantity, sales level, product price, lead time, and demand level.This study adopted the Waterfall software development model, while data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The proposed system was implemented as a web-based application and validated using Black Box Testing to ensure that all functional requirements were fulfilled.The results demonstrate that the proposed DSS successfully generates systematic and objective restocking priority recommendations by integrating multiple evaluation criteria into a single decision-making process.Compared with conventional manual practices, the proposed system improves the consistency, accuracy, and efficiency of inventory decision-making.Therefore, the proposed system provides practical support for inventory management and contributes to more effective and reliable restocking decisions at Sinar Mas Putra Building Store.

Fish cultivation is a vital economic activity for coastal communities, yet traditional farming methods often face challenges such as environmental instability, feeding inefficiencies, and water pollution. Effective monitoring of underwater environments is essential to improve fish quality and farming efficiency. A crucial part of this process is the accurate classification of fish and non-fish objects. This study proposes a method for underwater classification using morphometric feature extraction and machine learning techniques. The research process involves six main steps: (1) preparation of Region of Interest (ROI) detection data, (2) extraction of morphometric features—length (L) and width (W), (3) feature computation, (4) data partitioning for training and testing, (5) classification using Support Vector Machine (SVM), Random Forest (RF), and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), and (6) evaluation using a confusion matrix. Among all models tested, the Random Forest algorithm yielded the highest accuracy at 93%, with classification results showing True Positive = 349, False Positive = 28, True Negative = 223, and False Negative = 0. The findings highlight RF’s potential for enhancing automated fish monitoring in smart aquaculture systems.

Pengelolaan surat masuk merupakan salah satu aktivitas administrasi yang membutuhkan ketelitian, keteraturan, dan kemudahan dalam proses pencarian kembali dokumen. Pada Bagian Koperasi Dinas Tenaga Kerja, Koperasi dan UKM Kabupaten Kudus, proses pengarsipan surat masuk masih menghadapi kendala berupa pencatatan yang belum terintegrasi, penyimpanan dokumen secara fisik, serta proses pencarian arsip yang membutuhkan waktu. Kondisi tersebut dapat menyebabkan keterlambatan administrasi dan meningkatkan risiko kehilangan maupun kerusakan dokumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi pengarsipan surat masuk berbasis web yang dapat membantu proses pencatatan, penyimpanan, pencarian, pengelolaan, dan pemantauan arsip secara lebih terstruktur. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, keterlibatan langsung dalam proses administrasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan framework Laravel dengan MySQL sebagai basis data. Fitur utama sistem meliputi pengelolaan data surat masuk, pengunggahan dokumen digital, pencarian arsip, pengelolaan disposisi, serta penyajian laporan. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat mengintegrasikan proses pengarsipan dalam satu platform sehingga mempermudah pegawai dalam mengelola dan menemukan kembali dokumen surat masuk. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat mendukung transformasi digital administrasi serta meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pengelolaan arsip pada Bagian Koperasi Disnakerperinkop dan UKM Kabupaten Kudus.
