Abstract

Social studies education is a subject that can foster student character development and enhance learning outcomes. Social studies education provides students with knowledge and skills in various aspects of social life, including history, geography, economics, and politics. However, in reality, social studies education is still often dominated by lecture and memorization methods, which are less effective in developing students’ character and creativity. Lecture and memorization methods make students passive and less engaged in the learning process. Furthermore, this method does not encourage students to think critically and creatively. The impact of the pandemic on student character has resulted in an increasing level of ignorance and indifference towards others, particularly due to the intensive use of technology, especially cellphones. A creative social studies learning model is a learning model that employs various learning methods and strategies to encourage students to be active, think critically, and creatively. Therefore, a creative project-based social studies learning model is necessary to enhance student character and learning outcomes. Interviews and questionnaires. This millennial Amil project is a collaborative effort involving various parties, including parents and the community that will be the beneficiaries of the activity project. The support of these parties is crucial for the success of this program, particularly the support of the jamiyyah as a representative of parents or guardians of students. In this activity, students will gain valuable insights into Islamic religious education, social studies, civics, English, Indonesian, and ICT. The project aims to cultivate students’ character traits such as caring for others, empathy, and fostering a sense of gratitude. Additionally, it encourages lifelong learning for students.

Abstract

Students in boarding schools face additional pressures due to dual curriculum, high cognitive load, personal problems such as family homesickness, feelings of not belonging, and poor sleep patterns that compound worsening student well-being. This study examines the relationship between school climate and academic hardiness with student subjective well-being, with the mediation of student engagement among students in boarding schools. Data were collected using the Student Subjective Wellbeing Questionnaire (SSWQ; CR=0.941), School Climate Scale (SCR; CR=0.895), The Academic Hardiness Scale (AHS; CR=0.921), and Student Engagement Scale (SES; CR=0.902). A total of 519 junior and senior high school students who participated in Islamic boarding school programs in Banyumas Regency, Central Java, Indonesia, were involved in the study. The data were analysed using AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structures) software to conduct structural model analysis and hypothesis validation, to evaluate the relationship between variables. The results indicated that student engagement mediates school climate and student subjective well-being. Student engagement also mediates the relationship between academic hardiness and student subjective well-being. Students in boarding schools suggested to have a positive perception of the school environment and academic hardiness in facing academic problems and challenges to achieve well-being while living in the dormitory.

Abstract

Theoretically this research was based on that health which affect cleanliness appriciate behavior. This research aiming to find out the difference of healthy and clean lifestyle for elemantary school student based on geographical location between highland and lowland. Proportionate stratified random sampling was used to decide the sample. Questionnaire was used toward 184 respondent to collect the data. Independent t- test with assist from SPSS V 23. 0 Software were used to analized collected data. The result of this research are ; there is a significant differences of healthy and clean lifestyle pattern between elementary school in sub-district baturraden banyumas with sub-distcrict petanahan Kebumen. The conclusion from the research is , student from highland applied more clean lifestyle pattern than lowland student.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran interaktif adalah media belajar yang menggunakan teknologi digital untuk menyampaikan informasi dan mendorong interaksi aktif antara siswa dan materi pelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif jaringan komputer untuk membantu kegiatan pembelajaran di SMKN 3 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengambangan Luther-Sutopo dengan tahapan pembuatan konsep, perancangan, pengumpulan bahan, pembuatan, pengujian dan distribusi dengan menggunakan pemrograman action script 3.0. pada aplikasi Adobe Animated CC. Hasil penelitian yaitu diperoleh media pembelajaran interaktif materi jaringan komputer yang dapat digunakan oleh guru kejuruan TKJ SMKN 3 Kota Bengkulu dalam melaksanakan kegiatan belajar. Menu-menu pada pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif terdiri dari Menu Utama, Menu, Materi dan Menu Evalusi. Pengembangan media pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pemrograman action script 3.0 pada aplikasi Adobe Animate CC yang telah dibuat mampu memberikan manfaat kepada guru dan peserta didik di SMKN 3 Kota Bengkulu dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kejuruan melalui materi jaringan dasar komputer.

Abstract

Percepatan perkembangan teknologi saat ini telah memasuki segala bidang di kehidupan, salah satunya bidang pendidikan. Di bidang pendidikan, teknologi turut berperan aktif dengan adanya kecerdasan buatan atau yang dikenal dengan Artificial Intellegence (AI). Banyakna jenis AI ini, salah yang digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran adalah Quizizz AI yang sebagaimana telah diterapkan di SMK MUHAMMADIYAH LEBAKSIU. Penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif kualitatif yaitu penelitian tentang data yang dikumpulkan dan dinyatakan dalam bentuk kata-kata dan gambar, kata-kata disusun dalam kalimat. Jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kualitatif menggunakan langkah-langkah pengumpulan data, penyajian data, kondensasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa Quizizz AI dapat dijadikan media pembelajaran yang memberikan kemudahan untuk pendidik dalam melakukan penilaian serta memberikan inovasi pembelajaran. Dengan tersedianya fasilitas fitur-fitur yang terdapat dalam Quizizz AI, dapat meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of participatory mapping activities with indigenous communities to uncover their spatial understanding of environmental issues in regional context. By combining participatory GIS with a phenomenological approach, the research aims to extract critical environmental concerns and develop prioritization schemes for planning and conservation efforts, particularly in forest and small island communities. Two case studies were conducted: the Orang Rimba community in Jambi, Indonesia, and the Lovongai community in New Ireland Province, Papua New Guinea. Workshops and training sessions were held with small group in each community to identify and discuss local environmental challenges. The study revealed that the Orang Rimba community primarily concerns the decline of medicinal plant species and the threat on animal habitats, while the Lovongai community faces the pressing threat of sea-level rise. Through participatory mapping and collaborative efforts with local governments and NGOs, both communities developed potential solutions to address their respective environmental issues. It is recommended that future studies explore the long-term impacts of participatory mapping initiatives on community empowerment, environmental stewardship, and sustainable development.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the cardiorespiratory fitness of players in the Football Student Activity Association of the Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto in 2017. This study is a qualitative descriptive method. The population is all players of Football Student Activity Association of the Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto, with a total of 16 people (respondents). The instrument of the study is the Multi-Stage Test with the reliability of 0.9 and the validity of 0.6. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive with percentages and 6 categories; excellent, very good, good, moderate, lack, and fail. The results show that the level of cardiorespiratory fitness of the football players in the Student Activity Association of the Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto is in the medium category, no one in the fail and lack category, 8 people (50.00%) with the moderate category, 4 people (25.00%) with the good category, 2 people (12.50%) with the very good, and 2 people (12.50%) with the excellent category.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the kunjung karya (work exhibition visit) method as a differentiated learning strategy to enhance students’ communication skills in Social Studies (IPS) at SMP Negeri 1 Pejawaran, specifically in Class VII-B. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, the research involved 30 students as participants. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with purposively selected students, and Likert-scale questionnaires administered before and after the implementation of the method. The findings indicate a significant improvement in three core aspects of communication skills: speaking confidence, active listening, and the ability to provide constructive feedback. Moreover, the kunjung karya method increased students' interest in learning Social Studies and encouraged active participation in classroom activities. These results suggest that the method aligns well with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes flexible, inclusive, and student-centered learning. Therefore, kunjung karya can be considered an effective pedagogical approach to fostering a communicative, collaborative, and meaningful learning environment. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas metode kunjung karya sebagai strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus dan melibatkan 30 siswa kelas VII-B SMP Negeri 1 Pejawaran sebagai subjek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung selama proses pembelajaran, wawancara semi-terstruktur terhadap siswa yang dipilih secara purposif, serta penyebaran angket berbasis skala Likert untuk mengukur perubahan keterampilan komunikasi sebelum dan sesudah penerapan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam tiga indikator utama keterampilan komunikasi siswa, yaitu keberanian berbicara, kemampuan mendengarkan aktif, dan kemampuan memberikan umpan balik secara konstruktif. Selain itu, penerapan metode kunjung karya juga mendorong peningkatan minat belajar siswa terhadap mata pelajaran IPS dan memfasilitasi partisipasi aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode ini terbukti mendukung prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka yang menekankan pada pembelajaran yang fleksibel, inklusif, serta berpusat pada peserta didik. Dengan demikian, kunjung karya dapat menjadi strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam membentuk lingkungan belajar yang komunikatif, kolaboratif, dan bermakna.

Abstract

This study aims to implement the differentiated Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in Sociology learning to develop students' creativity and social awareness regarding various social issues within the school environment. The background of this research is based on the phenomenon of students' low social concern toward their surroundings, such as the lack of response to students with special needs, those with chronic diseases, and common social problems in the school community. This research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, involving two classes: an experimental class and a control class at SMA Negeri 1 Mojotengah. Research instruments included creativity tests, social awareness questionnaires, observation sheets, and project documentation. The data analysis results showed a significant increase in students' creativity and social awareness in the experimental class compared to the control class, as indicated by a t-test significance value of p < 0.05. These findings confirm that the application of differentiated PjBL can enhance students' active participation in addressing social issues within the school and foster caring and creative characters in line with the Merdeka Curriculum demands. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) berdiferensiasi dalam pembelajaran Sosiologi untuk mengembangkan kreativitas dan kepedulian sosial peserta didik terhadap berbagai masalah sosial di lingkungan sekolah. Latar belakang penelitian didasari oleh fenomena rendahnya kepedulian sosial peserta didik terhadap permasalahan di sekitar mereka, seperti kurangnya respons terhadap peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus, peserta didik dengan penyakit kronis, serta masalah sosial umum di lingkungan sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experiment, melibatkan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol di SMA Negeri 1 Mojotengah. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari tes kreativitas, angket kepedulian sosial, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi hasil proyek. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan pada aspek kreativitas dan kepedulian sosial peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol, dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi uji-t sebesar p < 0,05. Temuan ini memperkuat bahwa penerapan PjBL berdiferensiasi mampu meningkatkan partisipasi aktif peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan masalah sosial di lingkungan sekolah, serta membangun karakter peduli dan kreatif sesuai tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka.
