Abstract

The use of technology in learning is very necessary in terms of designing, analyzing, evaluating, developing, and implementing material in the learning process. The important thing in the learning design process is the media used in learning. These learning media can be in the form of PowerPoint, digital modules, video tutorials, and other presentation materials. An educator should have learning media that is new and interesting in delivering material to his students, one of which is by presenting material through animated and fun learning videos. Canva is an application that can be used in designing learning media in the form of videos. How to use Canva Design is quite easy with many choices of design variations. This application provides a variety of design templates to use, ranging from free (free) to paid (pro). Canva can help users create and design a variety of creative designs, from designing brochures, advertisements, presentations, videos to infographics. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using the Canva application as a creative, innovative and collaborative learning video medium. The research method used is literature review. The method for searching for article data sources is carried out through the Google Scholar database resources (2020-2022) by taking relevant articles published in Indonesian. Key terms and phrases related to the Canva app, media, and learning videos were used in related subject searches. The results of the study show that the Canva application is effectively utilized as a medium for making creative, innovative and collaborative learning videos, so that it can assist educators in delivering material and make it easier for students to understand learning material. In addition, using Canva is also more efficient because it provides a variety of design templates for free and is available in several versions, namely web, Android and iPhone, so you can make learning videos simply by using your cellphone (gadget).

Abstract

This study examines the effect of STEAM-based learning on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Sawal, Banjarnegara. With the need for 21st-century education to develop critical, creative, and innovative thinking in young learners, a quasi-experimental design was used with Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Groups. Fifth-grade students were divided into experimental and control groups through purposive sampling. A critical thinking test based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) was administered before and after the intervention. The results showed a significant improvement in critical thinking skills in the experimental group (p < 0.05). STEAM-based learning effectively enhances critical thinking and is suitable for integration into 21st-century education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the "7 Habits of Great Indonesian Children" program on the discipline levels of second-grade students at SDN 2 Sibalung. This initiative, launched by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), seeks to instill positive character values through daily habits such as waking up early, religious observance, maintaining health, consuming nutritious food, fostering a love for learning, socializing, and ensuring quality sleep. The research employs a literature review method to analyze relevant sources. The findings indicate that the program positively influences students' discipline levels. Consistent application of these values has been shown to enhance students' adherence to school rules and their sense of responsibility. However, the implementation faces challenges, including limited supporting facilities, varying family backgrounds, and insufficient community support. Therefore, collaboration among schools, families, and communities is essential for the sustainable success of the program.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka at SD Negeri 3 Karangsalam using the Scriven Evaluation Model. The analysis was conducted through both formative and summative evaluations. The formative evaluation encompassed four key aspects: the clarity of curriculum objectives, the relevance of instructional materials, the implementation of instructional methods, and assessment practices. Meanwhile, the summative evaluation assessed program effectiveness, implementation efficiency, stakeholder satisfaction, and the overall impact of the curriculum. This research employed a descriptive-evaluative method using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Evaluation instruments were developed based on indicators from the Scriven Model. Data were collected through official school document analysis, classroom observations, interviews, surveys administered to teachers, students, and parents, as well as student learning outcomes. The data were then analyzed and compared with the evaluation instruments. The results indicate that the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka is categorized as effective, with a formative evaluation score of 79.35% and a summative evaluation score of 79.94%. These findings suggest that the curriculum has been implemented optimally and has positively influenced both the learning process and student outcomes. The study recommends ongoing evaluations to support continuous improvement in curriculum implementation quality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji relevansi pemikiran nilai-nilai akhlak Imam al-Ghazali dalam pembentukan karakter murid Generasi Z di SMP Islam Al Azhar 15 Cilacap. Fenomena melemahnya nilai karakter di kalangan remaja digital menjadi latar belakang utama studi ini. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi dengan teknik mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Partisipan terdiri dari empat siswa kelas VIII–IX, dua guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, dan dua wali kelas yang dipilih secara purposive. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model interaktif Miles & Huberman dengan fokus pada proses internalisasi dan makna pengalaman subjek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga tema utama: (1) internalisasi nilai-nilai akhlak seperti kejujuran, kesabaran, dan tanggung jawab melalui pembelajaran reflektif; (2) peran sentral keteladanan guru dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moral; dan (3) tantangan psikososial generasi Z seperti rendahnya pengendalian diri dan ketergantungan digital. Temuan ini memperkuat relevansi pemikiran akhlak al-Ghazali dalam konteks pendidikan kontemporer dan menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan spiritual dan afektif dalam pembentukan karakter. Implikasi penelitian meliputi pengembangan kurikulum berbasis nilai sufistik serta perlunya pelatihan guru dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai tersebut secara kontekstual. Penelitian ini juga merekomendasikan studi lanjut dengan cakupan lebih luas dan pendekatan longitudinal.

Abstract

This study on the implementation of the Tahfizh Al-Qur’an program in enhancing spiritual intelligence was conducted to obtain insights into how this program is applied at Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Zam-Zam Banyumas Junior High School to foster the spiritual intelligence of its students. The aim of the research is to describe the implementation of the Tahfizh Al-Qur’an program in enhancing the spiritual intelligence of students at MBS Zam-Zam Banyumas Junior High School, focusing specifically on the program’s concept, implementation, and impact. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with field research methods. Data analysis was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the Tahfizh Al-Qur’an program positively impacts students’ spiritual development at MBS Zam-Zam Banyuma Junior High School, evidenced by their respectful speech and conduct, care for others and the environment, and performing acts of worship independently. Thus, memorizing the Qur’an strengthens students' spirituality, faith, and piety toward Allah Swt., as reflected in their daily behavior.

Abstract

Situs Lemah Wangi terletak di Dusun Kalipagu, Desa Ketenger, Kecamatan Baturraden, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengetahuan lokal spasial terkait Situs Lemah Wangi dalam konteks mitigasi bencana Gunung Slamet. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan etnografi kolaborasi dan etno spasial, penelitian ini menggali informasi melalui wawancara mendalam dengan tokoh masyarakat, pemangku adat, dan anggota kewargian Situs Lemah Wangi, serta survei GPS untuk mengidentifikasi titik-titik koordinat situs. Data kualitatif dan geospasial kemudian diintegrasikan dan dianalisis menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) untuk menghasilkan peta etnografi Situs Lemah Wangi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Situs Lemah Wangi memiliki sejarah dan makna filosofis yang kuat, berfungsi sebagai pusat tradisi dan upacara adat yang secara inheren mendukung ketahanan masyarakat. Pengetahuan mitigasi bencana berbasis masyarakat di Dusun Kalipagu terbukti menyatu dengan kearifan lokal, seperti tradisi Kupat Slamet dan Gandulan, yang memperkuat solidaritas sosial dan resiliensi psikologis. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan identifikasi pengetahuan lokal narasumber dan rendahnya kemampuan teknis masyarakat dalam pemetaan geospasial. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam pengembangan strategi mitigasi bencana yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan dengan mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal.

Abstract

Penyusunan proposal Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilatihkan sebagai reinforcement atas pengalaman para guru. PTK suatu bentuk penelitian reflektif dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai alat untuk pengembangan kurikulum, pengembangan atau peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik dan prosesional berkaitan dengan pengelolaan kelas, fasilitator bagi peserta didik mencapai kompetensi atau capaian pembelajaran sesuai tahap perkembangannya. Beberapa kondisi guru SMA PL Don Bosko Semarang enggan membuat proposal PTK. Kondidi ini berefek kepangkatan guru banyak yang tidak lancar, diantaranya karena belum memiliki PTK. Tujuan kegiatan: meningkaatkan keterampilan guru SMA PL Don Bosko menyusun proposal PTK. Metode pelaksanaan: dikemas dalam bentuk workshop. Tahap pertama, diawali dengan pemberian materi kebijakan dan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, dilanjutkan pemberian materi penyusunan proposal sebagai penguatan pemahaman yang dilakukan melalui ceramah dan diskusi interaktif, serta praktek menyusun rancangan atau proposal PTK. Tahap kedua, guru-guru peserta pelatihan diberi kesempatan waktu (off time) sekira 10-14 hari untuk menyusun proposal dan pendampingan secara daring. Tahap ketiga, menentukan waktu pelaksanaan penelitian sesuai kesiapan guru. Tahap keempat, umpan balik atas rangkaian kegiatan dan dilanjutkan dengan pembagian sertifikat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan guru semangat mengikuti, pemahaman sangat baik, keterampilan menyusun pada level sedang. Sebagian besar masih pada tahap revisi proposal. Selain itu, terdapat 4 proposal yang siap diteruskan di kegiatan penelitian atau dilaksanakan.

Abstract

With the advent of smartphones, social communication has become much easier to enable than with previous generations of communication tools. Furthermore, it is essential to acknowledge the value of communication in assisting kids in developing relationships with their classmates. Objective: The primary purpose of this research was to examine the relationship between higher education students' smartphone usage and their deterioration in communication skills. Method: The data for this statistically designed study will be collected using a snapshot survey. Participating were 556 undergraduates, with the vast majority serving as pre-service teachers at Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, Indonesia. After that, AMOS version 24 was used to analyze the data even further. Findings: Students' communication skills were found to be positively correlated with their smartphone usage. The medium-sized association between effective communication skills and smartphone use. Extraordinary smartphone use among elementary school pupils may also affect their ability to communicate in real life, according to one reading of the results. Conclusion: Students who spend too much time on their phones are less likely to be good communicators, according to the research. Students should so exercise greater restraint when using their smartphone if we value effective communication abilities among them. Abstract

AbstrakBerdasarkan hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan bahwa strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru belum inovatif serta metode pembelajaran yang bersifat Teacher Centered Learning.  Model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbasis Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) mampu mengoptimalkan pembelajaran serta dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran secara optimal terlebih lagi pada abad ke-21. Metode penelitian yaitu menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan bentukOne Group Pretest-Posttest Only Design. Sampel yang diambil yaitu kelas VA dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling, teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan tes uraian dalam bentuk pretest dan posttest. Uji normalitas menggunakan uji Chi Kuadrat dan uji hipotesis menggunakan paired sample t test. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan mengidentifikasi bahwa terdapat pengaruh model PjBL-STEM dengan media DITAMAN terhadap prestasi belajar. Kata Kunci:Pembelajaran Abad 21Project Based LearningSTEM
