Abstract

Keterampilan abad 21 sangat penting dikalangan pendidikan, khususnya pada keterampilan berpikir kritis untuk membantu siswa mengatasi tantangan di era 5.0. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efektifitas pemanfaatan media pembelajaran augmented reality terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Purbalingga Lor. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah kelas eksperimen one group pretest-posttest. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes tertulis. Penelitian ini juga mengumpulkan data kusioner guna mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penggunaan media augmented reality diperoleh dari ke tiga aspeknya yaitu motivasi 82.3, kemenarikan 82.1, dan rasa ingin tahu 83. Hasil pengujian diperoleh skor sebesar 0,5791 dengan kriteria berpikir kritis sedang dan kriteria interprestasi keefektifan berpikir kritis 57,9% yang berarti cukup. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran bahwa augmented reality mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis sehingga diharapkan dapat dikembangkan ke dalam materi berkaitan dengan lingkungan. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of parents in motivating the learning process of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Kalibagor, Banyumas. Employing a descriptive qualitative design, data were collected through classroom and home observations, interviews with the class teacher, students, parents, neighbors, and a teacher, and documentation of grade books and student data records. Informants were selected via purposive sampling to include four students (with low and high motivation), four parents (active and less active), two neighbors, and one class teacher. Instruments consisted of observation, interview, and documentation guides, with data validity ensured through triangulation. Results indicated that parental involvement—through encouragement, supervision, and supportive learning environments—positively influenced student motivation. High motivation was observed in students with active parental support, while those lacking such support exhibited lower participation and academic achievement. Based on these findings, it is recommended that schools and educational authorities facilitate active parental engagement through coaching programs and involvement in learning activities to enhance student motivation and academic outcomes.

Abstract

Desa Ngijo Kecamatan Tasikmadu Kabupaten Karanganyar memiliki berbagai potensi salah satunya usaha di bidang industri makanan ringan (snack). Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra yaitu belum memiliki kapabilitas pemasaran yang memadai terutama kurangnya inovasi, baik inovasi produk, inovasi promosi, dan inovasi distribusi. Kegiatan Pengabdiaan Kepada Masyarakat dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk kepedulian sosial Perguruan Tinggi STIE Atma Bhakti Surakarta melalui kegiatan penyuluhan kepada mitra mengenai pengembangan strategi pemasaran dengan harapan agar mitra di Desa Ngijo dapat berkembang dan berekspansi ke usaha yang berskala lebih luas. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan metode ceramah dan sharing. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dimulai dengan Observasi Lapangan, Pelaksanaan Kegiatan, dan Penyusunan Laporan. Setelah mengikuti penyuluhan dan sharing, para mitra telah memperoleh pengetahuan dan wawasan yang semakin baik mengenai strategi memasarkan produk makanan ringan melalui bauran pemasaran 5P yaitu produk, harga, promosi, distribusi, dan pelayanan. Dengan adanya program pengabdian ini diharapkan akan banyak membantu persoalan pemasaran yang dihadapi mitra (Kelompok Wanita Tani) di desa Ngijo terutama dalam memasarkan dan menjual produksinya. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of tax socialization, tax knowledge, and the effectiveness of the tax collection system on tax compliance among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). These three independent variables are examined within the framework of the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) to understand tax compliance behavior from the perspectives of attitude and subjective norms. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 100 MSME respondents in Surakarta City who possess a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP). Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, preceded by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that all three independent variables significantly influence tax compliance, both simultaneously and partially. Tax socialization contributes to building taxpayer awareness and social norms, while tax knowledge fosters a positive attitude toward compliance. The effectiveness of the tax collection system, particularly those based on technology, simplifies administrative processes and enhances taxpayer trust. Therefore, improving MSME tax compliance can be achieved through continuous education, enhanced tax literacy, and the optimization of a responsive and integrated tax system.

Abstract

Student mental health is a growing concern due to increasing academic pressure, social demands, and economic factors affecting their well-being. Depression, a common issue among students, significantly impacts academic performance and overall quality of life. Therefore, early detection and accurate prediction of student mental health conditions are essential to provide timely interventions. This study aims to improve the accuracy of depression prediction among university students by integrating Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) for feature selection with Random Forest (RF) as the classification model. The dataset used is the Student Depression Dataset from Kaggle, consisting of 27,900 respondents with 18 features related to demographic, academic, and psychological factors. Data preprocessing includes handling missing values, normalization, categorical encoding, and feature selection using PSO. The model is trained and evaluated using 10-Fold Cross-Validation. Experimental results show that PSO-optimized Random Forest outperforms the standard Random Forest model. The optimized model achieves an accuracy of 84.08%, precision of 82.79%, recall of 77.79%, and an AUC-ROC score of 0.912, improving classification performance. These findings demonstrate that PSO effectively enhances feature selection, leading to better classification accuracy. This study contributes to the development of a more accurate and efficient machine learning model for detecting student depression. By optimizing feature selection, this approach reduces computational complexity while maintaining high predictive performance. Future research can explore hybrid optimization techniques such as Genetic Algorithm (GA) or Differential Evolution (DE) to further enhance model generalization across different datasets.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing critical thinking skills and learning outcomes among seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Cilongok. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group that received PBL treatment and a control group that followed conventional instructional methods. Data collection instruments included critical thinking tests and academic achievement tests, administered both before (pretest) and after (posttest) the intervention. Initial analysis indicated that both groups had relatively equivalent baseline abilities. Following the intervention, the experimental group demonstrated a significant increase in critical thinking scores (mean = 98.10) and learning outcomes (mean = 88.00), compared to the control group (mean = 84.13 and 80.25, respectively). The experimental group also achieved 100% mastery learning, surpassing the minimum required criteria. Statistical tests confirmed that the data were valid and reliable. These findings suggest that the PBL model is more effective than conventional methods in fostering students’ critical thinking and improving academic performance. Therefore, PBL is recommended as an active and contextual learning strategy for classroom implementation. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Cilongok. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi-eksperimen dengan dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen yang memperoleh perlakuan pembelajaran PBL dan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa tes berpikir kritis dan tes hasil belajar, baik sebelum (pretest) maupun sesudah (posttest) perlakuan. Analisis awal menunjukkan bahwa kedua kelompok memiliki kemampuan awal yang relatif setara. Setelah perlakuan diberikan, kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada skor berpikir kritis (rata-rata 98,10) dan hasil belajar (rata-rata 88,00), dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (masing-masing 84,13 dan 80,25). Ketuntasan klasikal kelompok eksperimen mencapai 100%, melampaui kriteria minimal. Uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa data valid dan dapat dipercaya. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa model PBL lebih efektif dibandingkan metode konvensional dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis serta meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, PBL layak diterapkan sebagai strategi pembelajaran aktif dan kontekstual di kelas.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the students' physics learning outcomes using Macromedia flash learning media. This research is a classroom action research. The research subjects were students of class XI MIA 7 SMAN 2 Bantul, consisting of 30 people (20 Females and 10 Males). Data collection was carried out in three cycles, with three meetings each. The research stages include planning, implementing the action, observing, and reflecting. The results showed an increase in students’ learning outcomes after using Macromedia flash learning media. The percentage of students’ who achieved the minimum completeness criteria in cycle 1 was 83.3%. In Cycle 2, the percentage improved to 93.3%, and in cycle 3 became 96.7%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of Macromedia Flash can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Deviant behavior among elementary school students has recently become increasingly prevalent, particularly in the form of negative deviations. Given the rise of negative deviant behavior in elementary schools, research on this issue is necessary. This study, conducted at SD Negeri Doplang 04 Adipala, aims to identify the influencing factors, the forms of negative deviant behavior, and the efforts made to prevent and address such behaviors among elementary school-aged children. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a case study design to provide an in-depth description of the findings. The results show that the factors influencing negative deviant behavior include habits, peer associations, environmental influences, lack of awareness of existing rules, rapid changes in norms, and unclear regulations, which can lead children to lose their sense of guidance and seek self-expression through deviant actions. Forms of negative deviant behavior at school include vandalizing school facilities, cheating, extorting money from peers, not doing homework, climbing over fences, leaving school without permission, neglecting cleaning duties, littering, and truancy. The follow-up efforts taken include restitution approaches, persuasive actions, positive reinforcement, and collaboration with parents.

Abstract

Student discipline issues remain a persistent challenge across educational levels, often disrupting the learning environment and student development. This study aims to investigate the application of the restitution triangle as an alternative strategy for addressing disciplinary problems among elementary school students. Developed by Diane Gossen, the restitution triangle offers a restorative framework consisting of three main stages: stabilizing identity, validating misbehavior, and seeking underlying beliefs. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving students and teachers at Gunungsimping 02 State Elementary School. The findings reveal that the implementation of the restitution triangle effectively reduced the frequency of disciplinary violations, enhanced students' self-awareness, and strengthened teacher-student relationships. These results suggest that the restitution triangle is a promising strategy for fostering a positive school culture grounded in self-discipline and personal responsibility.

This investigate explores the viewpoints of sixth-grade understudies with respect to the integration of visual media—specifically images—into Indonesian dialect instruction at SDN Cibalung 04, Cimanggu. Visual media is recognized as a capable instructive instrument that can essentially upgrade understudy engagement and comprehension, especially inside dialect learning settings. Utilizing a graphic subjective technique, information were accumulated through classroom perception, semi-structured interviews, and survey dissemination among the understudies.
