Abstract

One important theme in Arabic science is al-hazfu. This term in Indonesian is called Ellipsis. In our daily reality, there are often people who see that something that is not written or not mentioned in the text means that it is understood as something that does not exist and therefore is also not important. Though it is very possible that it has a very important meaning, even because it is very important, the Mutakallim (speaker) deliberately does not express it explicitly or explicitly with certain purposes. Such expression is one style of language which is considered by one linguist as one of the models of language beauty. Al-Quran as a divine greeting which has the beauty of a very high language is certainly not silent from the language style, meaning that the Qur'an also uses language style in the form of al-hazfu, where many lafaz that even though it is not mentioned, must be understood there, so that understanding of a verse will be more perfect. The style of language in the form of al-hazfu contains secrets that are very urgent to be revealed, so that various forms, places, causes and purposes or their benefits are clearly known. This very simple article is strived to uncover these things although it is also realized that what is described is not silent from various weaknesses and limitations.

Abstract

Uslub or Al-Quran language style is quite varied and all of course contain very poor intention to be understood by all Muslims. However, due to various limitations, so that not all Muslims can know these purposes but by the ulama especially those who are proficient in the fields of Al-Quran sciences including Arabic language. Imam Suyuti is known as one of the scholars who are competent in this matter. He is not only known as an expert on the Qur'an, but also known as a linguist and other sciences. Related to his thoughts on the science of the Koran, in this paper revealed only about one theme that is about ta`rif and tankir or in other terms that are more popular are makrifah and nakirah. Many lafaz in the form of makrifah (definite) and nakirah (indefinite) in the Koran and are often read by us as people who believe in the truth of the holy book, but sometimes we do not think why the lafaz is expressed in this form. Therefore, in this paper an attempt is made to uncover a part of it by raising the thoughts of Imam Suyuti who may increase our insight into the secrets behind the style of the Koran language. In summary, the thought of Imam Suyuti regarding these two terms shows that the use of lafaz in the form of makrifah and nakirah in the Koran has its own purpose or purpose which cannot be exchanged with one another, even though lafaz in general contains the same meaning.

Abstract

Salah satu gaya bahasa yang ditunjukkan Allah swt dalam menyampaikan pesan-pesan suci-Nya dalam Al-Quran adalah dengan menggunakan qasam atau sumpah. Siapa saja yang membaca dan meneliti Al-Quran tentu saja dia pasti mendapati ungkapan yang mengandung sumpah Allah dalam berbagai variasinya, semua itu tidaklah merupakan suatu kebetulan, melainkan memiliki maksud-maksud atau tujuan tertentu yang seharusnya menjadi perhatian bagi siapapun yang meyakini Al-Quran itu sebagai Kalam Allah yang menjadi petunjuk dalam hidup dan kehidupan ini. Bagaimana dan dengan apa Allah bersumpah? mengapa Allah bersumpah? dan apa rahasia dan manfaat sumpah yang terdapat dalam Al-Quran tersebut?. Tulisan sederhana ini diupayakan untuk dapat menjawab berbagai masalah tersebut dengan menelusuri pandangan para ulama Al-Quran dalam berbagai kitab yang mereka wariskan dengan harapan dapat menjadi pelajaran yang berharga untuk lebih meningkatkan pemahaman kita terhadap Al-Quran itu sendiri. Secara umum dapat dikatakan bahwa sumpah Allah dalam Al-Quran tidak terlepas dari pada isyarat yang jelas agar kita sungguh-sungguh memperhatikan pesan-pesan yang disampaikan, karena pesan yang disampaikan mengandung tujuan untuk kebaikan dan kebahagiaan manusia di dunia dan di akhirat.

Abstract

The Koran was revealed in Arabic. This has been emphasized by Allah Ta`ala himself by mentioning the arabiyyan quranan. From that, the Arabic language used by Allah in Al-Quan must be understood and believed to have its own specialties over other languages in the world. In studies related to various branches of Arabic, there are various terms, including thibaq and muqabalah. These two terms are known in the study of the Balaghah wa bil branch of science specifically badi` science. Although these two terms are both related to the beauty of meaning or tahsin of meaning, thibaq and muqabalah also have differences, thibaq is more about the gathering of two opposing things, whereas muqabalah can be in the form of collecting more than two opposing meanings and it can also be other than that. . Because the Al-Quran is in Arabic, of course it is not silent from the two things that are part of the meaning of the tahsin, especially since the Koran is the holy Kalam whose beauty exceeds the beauty of the language used by Arabic linguists throughout the ages. The meaning of tahsin in the form of thibaq and muqabalah in the Koran is quite widely scattered in various letters and verses. This is certainly not a coincidence, but a clear proof that the Koran has the advantage of a language style which is quite beautiful and interesting.

Abstract

The study of the Qur'an in its various dimensions has always been actual from classical times to the present. This is marked by the emergence of a number of scholars who are famous for their various works and discuss various aspects related to the content of the holy book, one of which is Ibn Qutaibah who lived in the 3rd century AH with various monumental works such as the book Ta'wil Musykil Al- Quran. In this book, he displays takwil or explanations of various utterances that he considers musykil, so that with the takwil he did, then what was previously considered musykil seen to have become something clearer. The recitation of the pronunciation of the verse he chose not only uses reason alone, but also seen by considering the language factor, so that the recitation does not deviate from the rules of language. His efforts should help us to be more aware of the uniqueness of the language of the Qur'an itself, not even enough to get there, but also he has played an active role in making the people aware of the greatness of the Divine Word which is a guide for all human beings. Although his description musykil covers a lot of themes, but this simple writing only describes a few things, such as related to majaz, isti`arah, al-hazfu, words that have different meanings and related letters ma'ani.ABSTRAKKajian tentang Al-Quran dalam berbagai dimensinya senantiasa aktual sejak zaman klasik hingga kini. Hal ini ditandai dengan munculnya sejumlah ulama yang terkenal dengan berbagai karyanya dan membahas berbagai sisi terkait isi atau kandungan Kitab suci itu, salah satunya adalah Ibnu Qutaibah yang hidup pada abad ke 3 hijriyah dengan berbagai karya monumentalnya antara lain adalah kitab Ta'wil Musykil Al-Quran. Dalam kitab ini, beliau paparkan takwil atau penjelasan terhadap berbagai lafaz yang beliau anggap musykil, sehingga dengan takwil yang beliau lakukan, maka apa yang tadinya dipandang musykil terlihat telah menjadi sesuatu yang lebih jelas. Penakwilan terhadap lafaz ayat yang beliau pilih tidak hanya menggunakan nalar semata, tapi juga terlihat dengan mempertimbangkan faktor bahasa, sehingga takwil yang dilakukan tidak menyimpang dari kaidah bahasa. Upaya yang beliau lakukan kiranya dapat membantu kita untuk lebih menyadari akan keunikan gaya bahasa Al-Quran itu sendiri, bahkan tidak cukup sampai di situ, melainkan juga beliau telah berperan aktif untuk menyadarkan umat akan keagungan Kalam Ilahi yang menjadi petunjuk bagi sekalian manusia itu. Walaupun uraian beliau tentang takwil musykil itu memuat cakupan tema yang cukup banyak, namun tulisan yang sederhana ini hanya memaparkan beberapa hal saja, seperti terkait majaz, isti`arah, al-hazfu, lafaz yang memiliki makna yang berbeda serta terkait huruf ma'ani.

Abstract

Wealth is a matter of great urgency in human life, and it is not surprising that everyone needs it. Many people are even preoccupied with accumulating wealth without caring whether it is rightfully obtained or not. The Quran itself, as the guidance for Muslims, extensively discusses the concept of wealth. Therefore, this article aims to uncover the Quran's perspective on the essence of wealth, its acquisition, and its utilization by examining and analyzing the writings of Quranic scholars through a qualitative descriptive approach. The expected outcome is to enhance our comprehensive understanding of wealth and enable us to implement it correctly and responsibly in real life. In general, wealth in the Quranic view is inherently linked to two aspects: a gift and trust from Allah that should be appreciated, and a trial that must be approached with caution. This is because wealth not only has the potential to positively impact the owner's future (afterlife), but can also have negative consequences. Hence, it requires high knowledge and awareness regarding its acquisition and utilization.

Abstract

One of the uslubs or language styles mentioned in the Quran for expressing its sacred messages is question and answer (sual wa jawab), where a question is followed by its answer. This style of language has certainly attracted the attention of many parties, especially the scholars of the Quran, or mufassirin, whose thoughts and expertise are in direct contact with the holy words, as well as Arabic linguists, especially those related to balaghah. Scholars' perspectives on revealing the secrets of these questions and answers differ according to their scientific backgrounds, but all of them appear to be urgent in order to strengthen our awareness of the truth of the Divine Word that Allah revealed to His Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him). The questions and answers (uslub) implicitly seem like an extremely important style or learning method to be applied in communicating with other parties. Among the forms of questions and answers (uslub) in the Qur'an that are interesting to observe is "uslub al-hakim," which is literally interpreted as the style of a wise man. This article discusses some of the general characteristics of usul al-Quran.It also describes specific types of Quranic questions and answers. Hence, it aims to be a blessing for us in this life.
