Abstract

Dakwah di era millenial menemukan hambatan yang luar biasabanyak. Kehadiran new media; internet diyakini sebagai faktorpendorong utama yang menjadikan masjid sepi dari aktivitasceramah. Jamaah lebih memilih mendengar ceramah melaluihandphone karena mendapati ustadz populer. Dakwah subuh sebagaiaktivitas da’i dan mad’u dengan tatap muka (face to facecommuniactaion) tentu sangat efektif untuk mendapatkan pencerahanbathin bagi mad’u, dengan metode tanya jawab akan menjadi efisiendan efektif pesan yang di sampaiakan dengan di selingi sarapan pagi.Studi ini menyajikan sebuah praktik terbaik yang mengkolaborasimetode ceramah dengan kebaikan filantropi. Studi kualitatif menjadipilihan melalui mekanisme interview dan pengamatan mendalam.Masjid Al-Mubarakah di Kota Bengkulu menjadi lokasi penelitian.Kami menemukan bahwa filantropi Islam melalui peyajian sarapanpagi setelah dakwah subuh dinilai efektif. Makan pagi disediakan daridana kas masjid yang berasal dari sedekah dan infaq jamaah subuh.  Ada konsistensi kehadiran jamaah, bahkan cenderung bertambah walau tidak fluktuatif. Ustadz memberikan materi sesuai dengan kebutuhan jamaah dan perkembangan zaman.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the impact of problem-based learning with a focus on character development and naturalist intelligence on critical thinking (CT) abilities and curiosity of students. The study was conducted in a school in the city of Mataram - Indonesia, utilizing a 3x2 treatment by level design. Two groups of students, categorized as having high or low naturalist intelligence, were exposed to three different treatments: problem-based learning with character development (PBL-CD), problem-based learning, and regular learning. Data regarding the students' naturalist intelligence and CT abilities were collected through tests, while information on their curiosity was obtained through observation sheets and self-assessment. Statistical analysis using MANOVA at a significance level of 0.05 was performed. The findings revealed that: (a) PBL-CD had a positive impact on students' CT abilities and curiosity; (b) the naturalist intelligence did not significantly influence students' CT abilities and curiosity; and (c) there was no significant impact observed on students' CT abilities and curiosity when examining the interaction between PBL-CD and naturalist intelligence. Thus, PBL-CD presents itself as a viable strategy to cultivate students' critical thinking skills and inquisitiveness, offering an alternative pathway in routine learning in the classroom.

Abstract

Tuntutan penguasaan kompetensi abad ke-21 mendorong perlunya integrasi pendekatan inovatif dalam pembelajaran IPA untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara sistematis efektivitas integrasi STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) dalam pembelajaran IPA melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) berbasis meta-analisis. Studi ini mengikuti prosedur PRISMA dengan menyeleksi 112 artikel yang diterbitkan pada periode 2020–2024 dari basis data Scopus, ERIC, ScienceDirect, dan Google Scholar, sehingga diperoleh 20 artikel empiris yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Data dianalisis menggunakan sintesis tematik dan perbandingan effect size (Cohen’s d) untuk mengevaluasi dampak terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif, literasi sains, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, serta kompetensi abad ke-21 lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi STEM secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi dengan kategori effect size sedang hingga sangat tinggi, terutama melalui model Project-Based Learning dan Problem-Based Learning. Literasi sains juga mengalami peningkatan yang konsisten pada implementasi yang kontekstual dan berkelanjutan. Disimpulkan bahwa integrasi STEM yang terstruktur dan interdisipliner berkontribusi positif terhadap pembelajaran IPA yang bermakna. Implikasinya, diperlukan penyelarasan kurikulum, pengembangan profesional guru secara berkelanjutan, serta dukungan institusional untuk mengoptimalkan implementasi STEM secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Ammonia contamination in water poses serious ecological risks, while commercial bioremediation agents remain costly for widespread application. This study evaluated the technical and economic performance of a self-formulated biological agent made from golden apple snail shells and banana pseudostems for ammonia removal. A laboratory-scale preliminary experiment used 500 mL batch reactors containing synthetic wastewater in a 2 × 3 × 3 factorial design without replication, comparing EM4 and the self-formulated agent at initial ammonia concentrations of 10, 30, and 50 ppm over 1, 2, and 3 days. Ammonia was measured by the Nessler spectrophotometric method and analyzed using ANOVA GLM. The self-formulated agent showed performance comparable to EM4, with both achieving more than 80% removal under suitable conditions. Removal efficiency was influenced by the interaction between ammonia load and contact time, while cost analysis indicated a potential 92.1% saving. Further replicated pilot-scale studies with abiotic controls and real wastewater are recommended.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi sains, pemahaman Quran-hadis, dan kecerdasan naturalis terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan siswa madrasah tsanawiyah di Kota Mataram. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa madrasah tsanawiyah di Kota Mataram kelas IX tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 1.440 orang. Sampel ditentukan dengan metode cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini melibatkan empat variabel yakni tiga variabel bebas: literasi sains, pemahaman Quran hadis dan kecerdasan naturalis dan satu variabel terikat yakni sikap peduli. Literasi sains, pemahaman Quran hadis dan kecerdasan naturalis dikumpulkan dengan instrument soal tes dan variabel sikap peduli lingkungan dikumpulkan dengan instrumen angket. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi linear dan uji F untuk melihat pengaruh kumulatif variabel bebas (X1, X2, X3) terhadap variabel terikat (Y). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Level literasi sains siswa MTs Kota Mataram termasuk katagori rendah. Walaupun demikian, literasi sains berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan siswa MTs di Kota Mataram. Pemahaman Quran Hadis siswa MTs Kota Mataram termasuk katagori sedang. Pemahman Quran Hadis berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan siswa MTs di Kota Mataram. Kecerdasan naturalis siswa MTs Kota Mataram termasuk katagori tinggi. Kecerdasan naturalis berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan siswa MTs di Kota Mataram. Literasi sains, pemahaman Quran Hadis, dan kecerdasan naturalis berpengaruh positif signifikan bersama-sama terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan siswa MTs di Kota Mataram. Pembelajaran qur’an-hadist dan sains tentang lingkungan hidup seharusnya diimbagi dengan penerapannya dalam kehidupan nyata.Keywords: Literasi sains, kecerdasan naturalis, Qur’an Hadist, sikap peduli lingkungan.The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of scientific literacy, understanding of the Quran-Hadith, and naturalist intelligence on the attitude of environmental care students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah in the city of Mataram. The population in this study were all Tsanawiyah Madrasa students in Mataram City in class IX in 2019/2020, totaling 1,440 people. The sample is determined by the cluster random sampling method. This research involves four variables, namely three independent variables; scientific literacy, the understanding of the Quran Hadith and naturalist intelligence, and one dependent variable is caring attitude. Science literacy, the understanding of the Quran Hadith and naturalist intelligence are collected with test questions instruments. Besides, environmental care attitude variables are collected by questionnaire instruments. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and inferential statistics. Hypothesis testing uses linear regression analysis and F test to see the cumulative effect of independent variables (X1, X2, X3) on the dependent variable (Y). The results showed the level of scientific literacy of students in MTs Mataram City included in the low category. Nevertheless, scientific literacy has a significant positive effect on the attitude of environmental care for MTs students in the city of Mataram. Understanding of the Quran Hadith of MTs Mataram city students including the medium category. Understanding of the Quran Hadith not significant positive effect on the attitude of environmental care MTs students in the city of Mataram. The naturalist intelligence of MTs students in the City of Mataram is included in the high category. Naturalist intelligence has a significant negative effect on the attitude of caring for MTs students in the city of Mataram. Science literacy, understanding of the Quran-Hadith, and naturalist intelligence have a significant positive effect together on the attitude of environmental care for MTs students in the city of Mataram. Abstract

Cilegon City, Banten Province, Indonesia, generates abundant organic waste in the form of marine fish viscera (MFV) from fish-cleaning activities in traditional markets, which remains largely underutilized. This study aimed to evaluate the potential of MFV as an alternative bacterial starter for biogas production through the co-digestion of water hyacinth (KIM) and corn husk (KJ) biomass. Prior to digestion, KIM and KJ were physically pretreated to a particle size of 50–60 mesh, then chemically pretreated with 0.1 M NaOH. The pretreated biomass was then oven-dried at 60 °C for 24 h. Various KIM: KJ mass ratios were investigated, including 10:0, 8:2, 6:4, 4:6, 2:8, and 0:10, with a constant total solids (TS) content of 10 g. In addition, the biomass-to-MFV starter ratios were varied to 1:0.5, 1:1, 1:1.5, and 1:2. Anaerobic batch fermentation was conducted at an initial pH of 8, with 160 mL of distilled water added per 10 g TS. Methane content was analyzed using a Shimadzu GC-8A equipped with a thermal conductivity detector (TCD) at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Indonesia. Biogas volume was measured at two-day intervals over a 50-day fermentation period. The results demonstrated that the optimum biomass composition was achieved at a KIM:KJ ratio of 4:6, yielding a biogas production of 65 mL g⁻¹ TS. The optimum biomass-to-starter ratio of 1:1 resulted in a total biogas volume of 986 mL, a biogas yield of 99 mL g⁻¹ TS, and an organic matter conversion efficiency of 65% after 50 days of fermentation, with methane content reaching 60% (v/v). This study introduces a novel approach by demonstrating, for the first time, the use of marine fish viscera as a bacterial starter in the co-digestion of KIM and KJ, highlighting its significant potential to enhance biogas yield while valorizing marine processing waste.

Abstract

Business location selection is a critical strategic decision that significantly influences operational efficiency, cost structure, and long-term competitiveness. The increasing complexity of decision criteria requires structured approaches that integrate analytical methods and decision support technologies. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of integrating Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods within a Decision Support System (DSS) for business location selection. The research adopts a quantitative approach with a Design Science Research framework, involving data collection through questionnaires, expert judgment, and secondary data. The analysis combines AHP for criteria weighting and TOPSIS for ranking alternative locations. The results indicate that the integrated DSS successfully generates clear and objective rankings, with the best location identified based on comprehensive evaluation of multiple criteria. The findings also demonstrate that the system effectively handles trade-offs between conflicting factors such as cost, accessibility, and infrastructure. In conclusion, the integration of MCDM methods within a DSS enhances decision accuracy, reduces subjectivity, and provides practical support for selecting optimal business locations in complex environments

Abstract

Biological treatment of ammonia requires sufficient carbon availability to maintain stable microbial activity and sustain optimal degradation rates. This study evaluates the kinetics of ammonia biodegradation using an EM4 microbial consortium supplemented with palm sugar as an external carbon source in aerobic batch reactors. Initial ammonia concentrations of 10, 30, and 50 ppm were evaluated over six days of operation. Monitored parameters included ammonia concentration, pH, and biomass (MLSS), while kinetic evaluation applied a pseudo–first‑order model via the ln(St/S0)–time relationship. The results showed removal efficiencies of 79.0–83.4%, accompanied by MLSS increases from ~2,000 to ~4,600 mg/L with higher initial concentrations. The pH range of 5.8–8.5 remained conducive to microbial activity. The ln(St/S0) curves exhibited strong linearity, confirming the suitability of the pseudo–first‑order model, and the reaction rate constants increased under higher substrate and biomass conditions. These findings indicate that palm sugar is effective as an external carbon source for sustaining process stability and accelerating ammonia removal. The integration of EM4 with a natural carbon source demonstrates potential as an efficient, economical, and readily implementable biological approach for ammonia treatment in wastewater.

Abstract

Flavonoids are natural phytonutrient compounds in plants that exhibit antioxidant properties and play a role in scavenging free radicals. Walang sangit leaves have potential as a source of flavonoids, with samples consisting of young and mature leaves obtained from Pagebangan, Ciwandan District, Cilegon City. The sample preparation stage was carried out through extraction using the maceration method. The experimental procedure involved 10 g of dried walang sangit leaves ground to 60 mesh, which were macerated using 99.95 percent methanol and 80 percent acetone solutions. The volume of methanol and acetone used was 250 mL, with maceration times of 60 and 120 minutes in an Erlenmeyer flask. At 120 minutes, the methanolic extract yielded 2.81 mg QE/g (young leaves) and 4.12 mg QE/g (mature leaves), whereas the acetone extract only reached 1.03 mg QE/g and 2.88 mg QE/g, respectively. A similar pattern was also observed at 60 minutes, with methanol producing values of 1.39 – 2.32 mg QE/g, which were higher than those obtained with acetone (0.35 –0.78 mg QE/g). The highest extraction rate constant was obtained for acetone–mature leaves (0.0124 / min) and for methanol young leaves (0.0058 / min).

Abstract

ENGLISH: Evaluation of the Love Curriculum Implementation in Shaping Students' Relational Character at State Islamic High Schools: The CIPP Evaluation Model Objective: This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Love and Compassion Curriculum in shaping students' relational character in Islamic boarding school-based education. Method: This study uses a qualitative approach with the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Results: The Love Curriculum is highly relevant to the objectives of Islamic character education. The implementation of this curriculum is effective in fostering discipline, empathy, and cooperation among students through various coaching activities, such as tahfidzul Qur'an, ta'limul muta'allim, and muhadloroh. Conclusion: The formation of students' relational character is not sufficient through spiritual guidance and internal discipline in Islamic boarding schools alone; it requires continuous social learning that involves schools, families, and communities working collaboratively. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil: Kurikulum Cinta Kasih memiliki relevansi yang tinggi dengan tujuan pendidikan karakter Islam. Implementasi kurikulum ini efektif dalam menumbuhkan kedisiplinan, empati, dan kerja sama antarsantri melalui berbagai kegiatan pembinaan, seperti tahfidzul Qur’an, ta’limul muta’allim, dan muhadloroh. Kesimpulan: Pembentukan karakter relasional siswa tidak cukup hanya melalui pembinaan spiritual dan disiplin internal pesantren, tetapi memerlukan kesinambungan pembelajaran sosial yang melibatkan sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat secara kolaboratif. Kontribusi: Studi ini berkontribusi secara teoretis dengan menegaskan karakter relasional sebagai indikator penting keberhasilan pendidikan karakter Islam.Abstract: Evaluation of the Love Curriculum Implementation in Shaping Students' Relational Character at State Islamic High Schools: The CIPP Evaluation Model Objective: This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Love and Compassion Curriculum in shaping students' relational character in Islamic boarding school-based education. Method: This study uses a qualitative approach with the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Results: The Love Curriculum is highly relevant to the objectives of Islamic character education. The implementation of this curriculum is effective in fostering discipline, empathy, and cooperation among students through various coaching activities, such as tahfidzul Qur'an, ta'limul muta'allim, and muhadloroh. Conclusion: The formation of students' relational character is not sufficient through spiritual guidance and internal discipline in Islamic boarding schools alone; it requires continuous social learning that involves schools, families, and communities working collaboratively.
