Abstract

This study aimed to describe the use of speech acts in the form of locutionary acts, illocutionary acts, perlocutionary acts, and expressive speech acts used by foreign learners in the learning process of  Indonesian Language for Foreigners (BIPA). This research used descriptive qualitative method. The subject of this research was a Polish student who had been joining Darmasiswa Program at UPT Bahasa, Universitas Sebelas Maret. The technique of collecting data was by using free-listening-participating-speaking (SBLC). The technique of analyzing data was by using the interactive model. The interactive model used in this research was the extralingual interactive model. The results showed that there were types of locutionary acts, illocutionary acts, perlocutionary acts, and functions of expressive speech acts consisting of congratulating, expressing gratitude, criticizing, complaining, giving compliment, apologizing, offering and motivating.Keywords/phrases: speech acts, expressive speech acts, BIPA TINDAK TUTUR DAN FUNGSI TUTURAN EKSPRESIF PEMELAJAR BIPA ASAL POLANDIA DI UPT BAHASA UNSAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan tindak tutur berupa tindak tutur lokusi, ilokusi, perlokusi, dan tuturan ekspresif yang digunakan pemelajar asing dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA). Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa asing asal Polandia yang sedang mengikuti program Darmasiswa di UPT Bahasa Universitas Sebelas Maret. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik perekaman dengan metode simak bebas libat cakap (SBLC). Analisis data menggunakan metode padan ekstralingual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat jenis-jenis tindak tutur lokusi, ilokusi, perlokusi dan fungsi tuturan ekspresifnya yang terdiri dari tuturan ekspresif mengucapkan selamat, terima kasih, mengkritik, mengeluh, memuji, meminta maaf, menawarkan, serta memotivasi.Kata Kunci/frase: tindak tutur, tuturan ekspresif, BIPA

Abstract

Literary work in the form of drama or prose is seen as a psychological phenomenon that displays aspects of psychology (structure of personality) through the characters of the story. This study aims to describe Willem's personality structure in the form of id, ego, and superego. This descriptive qualitative research used content analysis to study the novel Dasamuka. The approach used in this study is the literary psychology proposed by Sigmund Freud. The validity of the data in this study was obtained using triangulation methods. Data analysis technique employed in this study is interactive analysis technique. The findings of this study are that Willem's id is dominated by the instinct of death and avoidance of discomfort; Willem’s ego is shown by strong efforts and decisions in realizing their desires and duties; and Willem’s superego is seen in the understanding of the moral or rules in society, the emergence of humanity, and feelings of guilt or sin.Keywords: personality structure, Willem, novel DasamukaKEPRIBADIAN TOKOH WILLEM DALAM NOVEL DASAMUKA KARYA JUNAEDI SETIYONOAbstrak Karya sastra berbentuk drama atau prosa dipandang sebagai fenomena psikologis yang menampilkan aspek-aspek kejiwaan (struktur kepribadian) melalui tokoh-tokoh ceritanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepribadian Willem yang berupa id, ego, dan superego. Penelitian kualitatif bersifat deskriptif ini menggunakan analisis isi untuk mengkaji novel Dasamuka. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah psikologi sastra yang dikemukakan oleh Sigmund Freud. Keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan triangulasi metode. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis interaktif. Temuan penelitian ini adalah id Willem didominasi oleh naluri kematian dan sikap menghindari ketidaknyamanan; ego Willem ditunjukan dengan usaha dan keputusan-keputusan yang kuat dalam mewujudkan keinginan dan tugasnya; dan superego Willem, yakni memahami moral atau aturan masyarakat, munculnya sisi manusiawi, dan perasaan bersalah atau berdosa.

Abstract

In learning Indonesian language and literature needs to take into consideration the involvement of students in creative process. Students are capable of listening the literary works and appreciate them. The implementation of listening learning can be successful if it is employing a contextual approach. This study describes: (1) the needs of teachers and students in developing interactive media in listening learning of drama for students in Vocational High Schools; (2) the arrangement of interactive media prototype employing contextual approach in listening learning of drama for students in Vocational High Schools; (3) the effectiveness of interactive media employing contextual approach in listening learning of drama for students in Vocational High Schools; (4) the acceptance of interactive media employing contextual approach in listening learning of drama for students in Vocational High Schools based on stakeholders’ responses.The research employs Research and Development (RD) study that conducts some steps developed by Borg and Gall, as follows: 1) the exploratory study that includes literature review, field study and the initial phases in creating prototype design, 2) the development phase of new learning media, 3) the experiment phase that is to test the effectiveness of old media and new media in listening learning of drama, 4) the acceptance test of new learning media to public. The data was collected and tested its effectiveness with the T-Test statistical analysis.The results of this research show that; (1) teachers and students find difficulties to employ interactive media in listening learning of drama in accordance with the students’ basic competence and lesson plan, (2) the prototype of interactive learning media is developed, (3) the students’ learning outcome of listening learning of drama can be improved with the help of interactive media compared with the learning without it and this is proved by the results of limited field trial and field trial, (4) the interactive media can be accepted by public and has more advantages than the old media according to the result of acceptance test.

Abstract

The benefits of studying history, in addition to remembering the past, are also valuable lessons for future generations. Through history, the younger generation knows the cultural treasures of the nation so that they can preserve them. One of the original arts belonging to West Kalimantan is the traditional theater mendu. This theater was successful at the beginning of its emergence (1876 AD) until the Japanese colonial era. After that it was dim because society was forbidden by Japan to gather and associate. Mendu was bloated again and became the belle of the 80's which was driven by the maestro Sataruddin Ramli (1948 - 2015). However, this particular art of West Kalimantan is now only a memory. This research aims to describe the golden age of West Kalimantan's traditional theater. The method used is descriptive qualitative form with a literature study approach. The results of the study describe (1) the glory period from the beginning of the emergence of the mendu to the Japanese occupation (1876 - 1942), (2) the traditional theater of the mendu became the belle of the community (1980s - 2000s). Factors that cause the mendu golden period include because in the past the world of entertainment was not yet sophisticated and modern, the characteristics of the traditional and simple community, the story that was served favored by the community at that time, the participation of the Regional Government of West Kalimantan, as well as coaching was held for the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe and explain: (1) the aspects of diction used in the novel Ayah by Andrea Hirata; (2) the values of character education in the novel Ayah by Andrea Hirata; and (3) the relevance of Andrea Hirata’s novel Ayah as a teaching material of language and literature in Vocational High School. This study is a qualitative research that analyzes the data in the form of documents with the object of study of novel Ayah by Andrea Hirata. The results of this study are as follows. (1) The diction aspect contained in Andrea Hirata's father's novel includes five types of diction, (2) Novels contain sixteen points of character education values, (3) Novel Ayah is relevant to the learning of Indonesian language and literature in SMK because the aspect of diction and the value of character education in accordance with the learning objectives that have been designed using the Learning Implementation Plan based on the Core Competence and Basic Competence which includes the competencies that the learners must achieve in language and literature learning. Dad's novel can increase students' vocabulary mastery according to language ability, student psychology, and cultural background.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, implementation of learning, obstacles encountered, and efforts made to overcome obstacles in accordance with the Curriculum 2013, especially on learning to write biographical text in SMP Negeri 4 Karanganyar. The description of such planning, implementation, constraints and efforts to find out their compliance with the Curriculum 2013. This research is a descriptive qualitative research using case study approach with single strategy terpancang. The results of this study are: (1) Learning planning in the form of RPP in accordance with the Curriculum 2013, but there is discrepancy in the three RPP that is the time allocation in the core activities is not written in detail at each activity steps. (2) Implementation of biography text writing lesson in accordance with RPP but there is non-conformity to time allocation. Assessment done by teacher when the process of learning and writing practice. (3) Constraints faced by teachers: inadequate learning resources, lack of interest and poor readiness of students in biographical texts, and students have not fully adapted to the 2013 curriculum. Teachers 'efforts: seek additional references from other sources, enthusiastic students' enthusiasm with games , giving the lecture method to the students. Constraints faced by students: the difficulty of defining themes and structures in biographical texts. Efforts by students: searching from other sources and asking the teacher.

Abstract

This type of research includes qualitative descriptive research. The selected samples are class XII IPS 5, XII IPS 1 and XII IPS 4 with purposive sampling sampling technique. Source of data used in the form of document document analysis. Technique of data collecting used with technique of free libat captive, recording technique and technique of note. Data analysis technique used in this research is interactive analysis model. The result of this research is finding the form of internal code transfer: (1) switch code from Indonesian to Javanese (2) switch code from Java to Indonesian language. The form of external codes is found: (1) switch code from Indonesian to foreign (English) (2) switch code from Indonesian to foreign (Arabic). From the research results found: 1) mix the word tangible code, 2) mix the tangible code phrase, 3) mix the tangible code clause, 4) mixed tangible code of the word. Factors that influence the use of code transfers include: 1) speakers, 2) speaking partners, 3) presence of third persons, 4) subject, 5) to arouse sense of humor, 6) to be prestigious. Critical factors include: 1) speaker and personal speaker, 2) talk partner, 3) residence and time of conversation, 4) speech mode, 5) topic, 6) function and purpose, 7) variety and level speak the language. The functions of code transfer and code interfacing include: 1) clarifying and clarifying statements, 2) quoting other people's conversations, 3) avoiding rough and smooth forms.

Abstract

In its teaching, literature undergoes a change in approach along with curriculum changes. This study aims to 1) describe the purpose of teaching literature in curriculum KTSP and K13 at the level of high school; 2) to describe the function of literary teaching in the curriculum of KTSP and K13 in SMA; and 3) to describe the literary teaching materials in the curriculum of KTSP and K13 at SMA level. This research is qualitative descriptive type. The research data is obtained from document archive, informant, and textbook of Indonesian KTSP and K13. Data validity is done by triangulation method and data triangulation. Data collection techniques are content analysis and structured interviews. Data were analyzed interactively. The results of this research are the purpose of teaching literature in KTSP and K13 at SMA level is that students are able to analyze and create literary works, as well as develop individual and social character through literary works. The function of literary teaching in KTSP and K13 is to make literary works as a means of achieving language skills. Third, the literary teaching materials in KTSP and K13 are short stories, poems, plays, novels, reviews.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berorientasi pada keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). Namun demikian, berdasarkan observasi terbatas teridentifikasi soal-soal buatan guru belum sepenuhnya berorientasi pada pengembangan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber data meliputi guru-guru Bahasa Indonesia di SMPN 4 Surakarta dan tugas tertulis. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara terstruktur dan tidak terstruktur serta analisis dokumen. Teknik validitas data melalui triangulasi metode dengan cara mencocokkan data antara wawancara dan hasil tes tertulis. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis model interaktif. Setelah dilakukan tindakan perbaikan (treatment) kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan soal bahasa Indonesia mengalami perubahan terutama dalam menentukan kata kerja operasional yang dibutuhkan terukur sesuai dengan dimensi tesnya. Ide pengembangan instrumen tes yang dikembangkan oleh guru bisa bercabang dan divergen sesuai dengan tujuan tes yang hendak dicapai. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya tindakan perbaikan (treatment) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru Bahasa Indonesia dalam menyusun soal berprespektif HOTS. Indikator menunjukkan kemampuan terukur sebagai alat untuk mencapai tujuan. Pengguna potensial hasil penelitian ini adalah sekolah dan Dinas Pendidikan Kota Surakarta dalam mengembangkan kompetensi profesional pendidik.

Abstract

The folklore found in Ngawi regency is very diverse, scattered in various districts. Circumstances like this give the origin of the name of the area can be created through the conditions of the environment. Furthermore, providing values and symbols through Natural Resources as the unifier and strengthening of society. This makes the folklore of the origins of the village in Karangjati district, Ngawi regency as an expression of oral literature with a dimension of concern for humans and nature. So, the problem of concern is related to the value of human care for humans or humans with nature and even nature with humans. The main problem in this research is about how humanist values and environmental care values are contained therein. This research has the aim of describing and explaining the various humanist values and environmental care values of the folklore stories of village origins in Karangjati district. The type of approach used is the ecocritical approach that focuses on the literary field. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by taking data in the form of content analysis. The results showed that there were four folklore in Karangjati district with ecological nuances, namely (1) The Origin of Sembung Village; (2) The Origin of Karangmondo Hamlet, Rejomulyo Village; (3) The Origin of Sumberan Hamlet, Rejomulyo Village, and (4) The Origin of Sawo Village. Meanwhile, in terms of humanist values, there is a lot of data found in the stories of the origins of Sembung and Rejomulyo villages. On the other hand, the two values can provide an early teaching especially the younger generation about the importance of ecology in the community.
