Abstract

Specifically, it examines the effects of training and competence on innovative behavior and commitment, as well as the mediating role of affective commitment in these relationships. Design/methodology/approach: The main data collection method in this study is a structured questionnaire, which will be distributed to 50 respondents selected using a census technique. The sample in this study consists of employees in the Procurement Division of Yogyakarta City. This study uses analysis techniques with Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) using AMOS Version 22.0/Amos Graph. Research Findings:  Training does not significantly affect innovative behavior or affective commitment. However, competence positively influences both, indicating that skill development fosters innovation and emotional attachment. Affective commitment enhances innovative behavior and partially mediates the competence-innovation link, while it does not mediate the training-innovation relationship. Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This study extends organizational behavior and HRM theories by highlighting the role of competence and affective commitment in driving innovation. It underscores how non-financial factors, like emotional attachment and skill development, contribute to workplace innovation, particularly in public sector organizations.. Abstract

The coastal area of Segeri sub-district, Pangkajene and Kepulauan Regency is a zone that is prone to natural phenomena of sea level rise. The impact received due to this phenomenon is something that needs to be studied to identify the level of coastal vulnerability and project changes in coastal vulnerability in the future. This study aims to calculate the coastal vulnerability index and project changes in vulnerability in the future due to changes in factors that affect coastal vulnerability. This research was conducted in August – December 2022 in Segeri District, namely in, Bone, Bawasalo and Bonto Matene Villages. The methods or approaches used in analyzing the data are: 1) analysis of coastal ecosystems and resources, 2) analysis of the physical and social characteristics of the community, 3) analysis of the vulnerability of the coastal environment. The Vulnerability Scoping Diagram (VSD) models places exposure, sensitivity and adaptive capacity as dimensions of vulnerability. The components of the exposure dimension consist of coastal dynamics, natural disturbances and population. The components of the sensitivity dimension are the characteristics of the coast, land use, and population settlements. The dimensions of adaptability include coastal habitats and marine conservation areas. Based on the scores of each parameter on the three dimensions, the coastal vulnerability index (IKP) in the three locations is in the range of IKP values of 7.96 - 9.59 which is included in the category of moderate vulnerability. Factors that are very influential on the IKP are the dimensions of sensitivity including: erosion, waves and tides caused by oceanographic factors so that if adaptation and mitigation efforts are not carried out, it is likely that in the next 5-10 years, the level of vulnerability can become high and even very high. Adaptation efforts that can be done are strengthening the coastal border area, planting and expanding mangrove trees in the coastal area of Segeri.

Abstract

Determining the working and operational areas of a fishing port is very important because it strengthens the existence of a fishing port while supporting port operations. The purpose of this study is to determine the working and operational areas of the Untia fishing port based on the ratio of space utilization in land and water areas. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. Secondary data was obtained through literature surveys and institutional surveys to obtain port design plans and spatial planning plans, while primary data was obtained using satellite imagery and verified directly in the field to obtain geographical coordinates. Analysis was conducted on the position of the Untia port in relation to the provincial spatial planning plan, the physical condition, and the operational aspects of the port. The results obtained include the determination of geographical coordinates for the operational areas on land and water used for the construction and operation of main facilities, functional facilities, and supporting facilities for Untia fishing port. Based on the analysis results, the total operational area of the Untia Fisheries Port is determined to be 232.33 hectares, consisting of a land operational area of 9.8 hectares, a water operational area of 92.84 hectares, a land operational area of 23.56 hectares, and a water operational area of 106.13 hectares.

Abstract

It was rather surprising that Windows users readily embraced Copilot, even trusting it with translation projects. Surely, not many users would trust its accuracy in providing cross-language explanations for prompts solely based on the developer's claims. Building on that, this research aimed to test it in a manner distinct from other assessments. Researchers evaluated how accurately Copilot interpreted and understood the advanced Arabic prose from the intricate works of Alfiyah ibn Malik and Nadham Al-Imrithy. The aim was to understand Copilot’s strengths and weaknesses in terms of literal accuracy, terminological-analogical mastery, and contextual depth. Using a mixed-method approach under the Collect-Measure-Repeat (CMR) framework of Responsible AI, the researchers conducted qualitative performance assessments with three experts and quantitative evaluations using METEOR (Metric for Evaluation of Translation with Explicit Ordering). The results showed that although Copilot had no issues comprehending and translating simple Arabic commands, especially word-for-word, it struggled with contextual understanding for many of the complex texts and displayed numerous inconsistencies when the instructions were vague. Copilot's performance issues in context saturation were evident during iterative phases. This led to the conclusion that, while Copilot is competent enough to attempt the challenging task of interpreting complex linguistic structures, it still needs human assistance and cross-references.
