Abstract

The study of the effectiveness of entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana (Bals) Vuill. with the addition of an insect growth regulator (IGR) lufenuron to control the fruit fly Bactrocera carambolae (Drew and Hancock) (Diptera: Tephritidae) was conducted at the Laboratory of Toxicology and Laboratory of Entomology, Department of Plant Pests and Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Brawijaya Malang from March 2012 until December 2012. This study examined the effect of lufe-nuron to the development and sporulation of B. bassiana and the effectiveness of the fungus B. bassiana in combination with several concentrations of lufenuron (0.5, 1, 1.5 mL/L) on the mortality of fruit fly larvaB. carambolae. The results showed that the addition of lufenuron at the concentration of 1 mL/L could significantly increase the sporulation of B. bassiana. The addition of B. bassiana at 108 spores/mL combined with lufenuron at the concentration of 1 mL/L applied to compost pupation medium of larva of B. carambolae is significantly able to suppress the formation of the fruit fly pupa and imago of B. carambolae

Abstract

Any waste whether it is organic or inorganic waste causes a serious issue that is faced by the Magetan regent. The lack of waste management systems such as uncontrolled garbage accumulation, burning and dumping into rivers and vacant land could lead to pollution. The Solution to solve this issue is the waste bank called Sapu Jagad in Magetan regent which was established in 2015. Sapu Jagad waste bank is also educating and training the people to recycle the waste into a product with an economic value. The product from the waste bank is sold by an online market. However, the production time is sometimes too long since the raw material is not always adequately available. This situation is caused by irregular collection from the community. The result of this activity is the registering process by the waste bank, waste bank fund, and operational bookkeeping using a simple application. Record sales of waste products into crafts and better chairs and tables. The process of storing plastic packaging for drinking water and plastic packaging waste can already be cut into small pieces using a plastic cutting machine which is also invested in a waste bank. Plastic waste storage becomes very space efficient.

Abstract

Perkembangan hotel dan bisnis kuliner saat ini meningkat di daerah daerah tidak terkecuali di kabupaten Kendal yang saat ini menjadi daerah yang tujuan perkembanga industry. Untuk itu banyak perkembangan kuliner karena banyanya masyarakat yang produktif dan tingkat perekonomiannya. Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) juga diperlukan peningkatan dan perkembangannya salah satunya yang sudah di lakukan oleh SMK PGRI 4 Kabupaten Kendal yang dimana melaksankan pelatihan Frutis Carving pada siswa baik kelas 1, 2 dan 3 serta guru-guru pada jurusan perhotelan yang memiliki tujuan supaya meningkatkan skill atau kemampuan di bidang seni ukir. Seni ukir atau carving art adalah ilmu pahat yang dilaksanakan di lakukan pada media buah, biasanya buah yang di ukir yaitu semangka, papaya, melon serta bahan lainnya seperti lobak, waloh, apel maupun yang lainnya. Keindahan dan keserasian adalah yang utama pada penampilan carving art ini. Hasil pada pelatihan ini banyak siswa dan guru antusias dan mempraktikan sendiri sehingga ada ketertarikan dalam seni ukir buah.

Abstract

Economic developments in regions in Indonesia have changed, mainly due to the Covid-19 pandemic, one of which is the impact on MSMEs. Some MSMEs are even forced to stop because production cannot be carried out, and restrictions from the government hamper buying and selling activities. Therefore, at this time, MSMEs, which were previously constrained by the Covid-19 pandemic, are starting to try to bounce back. Godan Village is one of the villages in Grobogan Regency that seeks to improve the economy by reviving MSMEs. With this, the UNS 358 KKN Team carried out community service activities by carrying out the main work program entitled Assistance in processing tahu walik. This activity is carried out offline in conjunction with implementing the Monthly PKK in Godan Village. This activity went well and received a positive response from PKK members who attended the training. PKK members are also enthusiastic about producing the tahu walik on a home scale. This assistance activity for processing tahu walik is very beneficial for the people of Godan Village, especially for people with MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence exerted by Inflation, Exchange Rates, Palm Oil Production on the Export Volume of Indonesian Palm Oil for the period 1990-2020. The data used is secondary data obtained from Bank Indonesia, the Directorate General of Plantations and the Oil Palm Statistics Agency. This study uses time series data analysis with the Multiple Linear Regression method. The results of this study indicate that inflation, exchange rates and palm oil production have a significant effect on Indonesian palm oil exports. Partially, the inflation variable has a negative and significant influence on Indonesian palm oil exports. Partially, the production variable has a positive and significant effect on exports of Indonesian palm oil commodities. The Rupiah exchange rate shows a positive and significant effect on Indonesian palm oil exports.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and evaluate the effect of motivation, work stress, and physical work environment on employee performance at the Center for Research and Development of Geological Disaster Technology (BPPTKG) Special Region of Yogyakarta. The sample in this study were employees of the Special Region of Yogyakarta Special Region of Yogyakarta with 70 respondents. The sampling technique applied is non-probability sampling where all members of the population are sampled. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis which aims to calculate the magnitude of the regression coefficient to show the magnitude of the influence of motivation, work stress and physical work environment on employee performance. While the observation test shows that various changes in motivation, work stress and physical work environment jointly affect employee performance in the special area of the Geological Disaster Technology Investigation and Development Agency (BPPTKG) Special Region of Yogyakarta. The results of this research show that: (1) motivation has no significant effect on employee performance; (2) work stress has no significant effect on employee performance; (3) the physical work environment has a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Digital developments that are increasingly modern and fast make BPRS management continue to improve innovation and service quality to customers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of funding liquidity and product innovation on customer satisfaction. The research method uses a quantitative approach, because this research was carried out using a survey method with a correlation technique. Respondents in this study were BPRS Karomah customers, totaling 110 people, who had been customers for at least 1 year. Selection of the sample using purposive sampling seen from the issues raised. The results of the study show that there is a strong influence of funding liquidity and product innovation on customer satisfaction. The influence of funding liquidity and product innovation variables on customer satisfaction is 61%.

Abstract

The development of science and technology which is growing rapidly greatly affects industries that produce machine elements that use steel as the main raw material, steel is widely used in construction. This has caused many mechanics to join steel using the SMAW process without regard to the welding method and mechanical properties which causes the steel not to be connected perfectly, thereby endangering safety. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of seam variation V, K and X and normalizing, quenching and no heat treatment on the mechanical properties of welded joints in SUP9 steel. From the variation of seam and heat treatment, there were 9 combinations with 3 repetitions. The results of this study indicate that the weld seam and heat treatment affect the tensile strength and impact price of SUP9 steel. The most optimal treatment to produce high tensile strength is seam variation X with quenching heat treatment with ASTM E8 specimen shape having an average tensile stress value of 84.23 Kgf/mm2, and for the most optimal treatment to produce high impact values ​​is variation of seam X with normalizing heat treatment with specimen form ASTM E23 has an average impact value of 1.11 J/mm2.

Abstract

Budidaya jamur tiram di Pondok pesantren salafiah Al-Ihsaniyah Abul Faidl mempunyai kapasitas 6 - 12 Kg per hari. Usaha jamur tiram yang berjalan di pondok pesantren yaitu dengan cara membeli media tanam dalam baglog, sehingga biaya produksinya menjadi lebih mahal.Keterbatasan keterampilan dan peralatan yang menyebabkan para santri harus membeli baglog. Kondisi seperti ini tentunya menghilangkan potensi insentif besar yang seharusnya bisa didapatkan pondok pesantren. Kegiatan pengabdian ini membekali keterampilan para santri untuk membuat baglog secara mandiri dan melaui pengabdian ini para santri juga dibuatkan teknologi mesin tepat guna untuk mengisi baglog secara otomatis. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah diselenggarakannya pelatihan produksi baglog jamur tiram dan mesin pengisi baglog otomatis. Dengan adanya program ini, pondok pesantren Al-Ihsaniyah Abul Faidl dapat memperluas usaha dengan adanya mesin pengisi baglog otomatis.

Abstract

There are still employee complaints that the compensation is not consistent with the concept of justice, the existing facilities at the research site are insufficient to perform community service duties, the facilities that require quantity and quality improvements. This study aims to prove the effect of compensation, facilities, and work environment on the job satisfaction of environmental employees in Kendal Regency. This study design is a descriptive study employed by quantitative analysis using SPSS version 17.0 for the Windows application. This study investigates the relationships between three independent effects — compensation (X1), facilities (X2), and work environment (X3) — and one dependent variable — job satisfaction (Y) with Approximately 114 Kendal Regency Environmental employees asministrated by the questionnaire to the respondents. The results show that there is a positive and significant effect of compensation, facilities, and work environment on the job satisfaction of Kendal Regency Environmental employees. The work environment is the variable that most dominantly influences the increase in job satisfaction of Kendal Regency Environmental employees because it has the highest beta value.
