Abstract

Introduction: Medical services are inseparable from the services provided by health workers, especially nurses. The achievement of optimal work effectiveness is an assessment of the effectiveness of nurses' work as an effort to assess nurses' achievements at work. Assessment of work effectiveness in performance indicators is a reliable tool as a control of human resources and productivity, but in fact nurse performance is a problem in all nursing services. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that affect the effectiveness of nurses' work at Taman Husada Bontang Hospital. Methods: The research design was in the form of observational research using a cross sectional design. The population of all nurses at Taman Husada Bontang Hospital was 212 respondents. The sample in this study was nurses at Taman Husada Bontang Hospital totaling 136 respondents with simple random sampling. Independent variables factor productivity, satisfaction, and competence. Dependent variable of the effectiveness of the nurse's work. Results: The results showed that there was a relationship between productivity factors (p = 0.021), satisfaction (p = 0.000), competence (p = 0.000) on the effectiveness of nurses' work. Multivariate analysis shows that the most influential variable on the effectiveness of nurses' work at Taman Husada Bontang Hospital is satisfaction with the significance level of p = 0.000 and B = 0.333. Conclusion: Work effectiveness is needed in improving the quality of services in hospitals, so that improving the quality of human resources must be optimized. Work effectiveness is a deliberate ability to do something better to achieve certain goals by emphasizing compliance at work and relating to work results. So that leaders in hospitals must continue to pay attention to the welfare of nurses to improve the effectiveness of their work in providing excellent health services.

Abstract

Introduction: Hospital is an organization or health institution that is responsible for the provision of health services ranging from basic and specialty medical services that are quality, effective, efficient, accountable and oriented to customer satisfaction. Hospitals which are places of health services must be able to provide professional resources. One way to improve the performance of employees, including nurses in hospitals, is to carry out good and directed supervision The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of leadership, internal control and employee commitment on employee performance at Gemolong Hospital. Methods: Observational research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population of all employees at Gemolong Hospital was 295 respondents. The sample was 170 respondents with proportional to size technique. The research measuring instrument used was a questionnaire, divided into 4 variables, leadership, internal control, commitment employee performance. The questionnaire that was carried out validity and reliability. Analysis used is univariate and multivariate analysis with linear regression using SPSS 23. Results: Linear regression tests conducted showed there was a relationship between leadership for the head of the room (p=0.007), leadership for the director (p=0.004), internal supervision (p=0.000) and employee commitment (p=0.011) to employee performance. Multivariate analysis showed that the influential variable was internal supervision with a significance level of p=0.000 and B=0.518. Conclusion: The research conducted are expected be input to the hospital to increase motivation and internal supervision to improve the quality of hospital services in the eyes of the community. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh tim residensi mahasiswa Manajemen Administrasi Rumah Sakit Magister Kesehatan Masyarakat Institut Ilmu Kesehatan Strada Indonesia yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 16 Januari - 10 Februari 2023 bertempat di RS Universitas Airlangga Surabaya ini memberikan usulan design formulir khusus untuk wabah dan bencana beserta petunjuk teknis pengisiannya. Sosialisasi dilakukan kepada pengguna formulir di RS Universitas Airlangga Surabaya dengan tujuan memberikan pandangan/ informasi terkait kebutuhan formulir jika sewaktu waktu terjadi wabah atau bencana alam, dimana pada kejadian wabah pandemic COVID19 RS Universitas Airlangga Surabaya menjadi salah satu RS Rujukan Nasional. Diharapkan formulir tersebut dapat di tindak lanjuti oleh pihak manajemen untuk menjadi formulir yang digunakan di RS Universitas Airlangga Surabaya. Kamipun berharap formulir tersebut dapat dikembangkan menjadi Rekam Medis Elektronik oleh tim IT RS Universitas Airlangga Surabaya. Faktor pendukung kegiatan tersebut adalah peserta sosialisasi memiliki kemampuan dalam mengaplikasikan formulir IGD sehingga peserta sangat antusias sekali. Kendala yang dihadapi pada saat sosialisasi adalah kegiatan sosialisasi yang direncanakan berjalan 1 hari tidak dapat terealisasi dikarenakan terbentur dengan aktivitas para peserta yaitu karyawan IGD yang bekerja 3 shift, sehingga tim sosialisasi agak repot untuk menyesuaikan waktu yang cocok. Maka dari itu sosialisasi kami adakan beberapa kali

Abstract

Musculoskeletal Disorder (MSD) adalah suatu kondisi yang dapat memengaruhi bagian manapun dari sistem musculoskeletal. Musculoskeletal Disorder (MSD) terbagi menjadi beberapa jenis di antaranya adalah keluhan leher, bahu, punggung, dan lutut. Ibu rumah tangga yang melakukan berbagai pekerjaan rumah tangga dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan stres ergonomis dan gangguan muskuloskeletal. Pekerjaan rumah tangga dapat menjadi faktor risiko utama yang menimbulkan keluhan dan gangguan muskuloskeletal pada perempuan. Fisioterapi adalah bentuk pelayanan kesehatan yang berperan dalam penanganan gangguan muskuloskeletal tersebut.Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan di Asya Therapy Center Mojokerto adalah menganalisa faktor-faktor penyebab keluhan musculoskeletal, prioritas masalah dan mencari strategi yang akan diberikan untuk mengatasi permasalahan dalam upaya pengembangan pelayanan fisioterapi berbasis masyarakat. Metode pelaksanaan menganalisa faktor penyebab masalah dengan fishbone diagram, kemudian menentukan prioritas masalah dengan metode USG dan strategi penyelesaian masalah dengan analisa SWOT. Strategi yang dapat diterapkan adalah pembentukan komunitas masyarakat khususnya ibu rumah tangga sebagai sarana sosialisasi oleh pemerintahan desa dan fasilitas kesehatan setempat berupa kegiatan pendampingan kesehatan masyarakat, memberikan edukasi mengenai teknik mengangkat barang dengan benar, tips dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan rumahtangga yang efektif dan efisien,dan tindakan pertolongan pertama saat terjadi cidera.

Abstract

Background: Training and socialization on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) throughout 2022 have been carried out to achieve ISO. From the audit results in 2023, it has been found, among others, that the application of “Concise, neat, clean, careful, and diligent” needs to be developed further. The purpose of this activity is to provide Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Kediri Kediri employees with knowledge about “Concise, Neat, Clean, Careful, Diligent”. Methods: Participants in this activity were Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Kediri employees, and the methods used were lectures, discussions, and questions and answers. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. Results: The results of the pre-test and post-test showed that only a small proportion had good knowledge (37%), positive attitudes towards the “Concise, Neat, Clean, Careful, Diligent” (30%), and good “Concise, Neat, Clean, Careful, Diligent” behaviour (33%). It was found that a p-value of 0.001 <0.05 indicated that there was a significant influence between “Concise, Neat, Clean, Careful, Diligent” knowledge and “Concise, Neat, Clean, Careful, Diligent” behaviour and a p-value of 0.010 <0.05 indicated that there was a significant influence between the “Concise, Neat, Clean, Careful, Diligent” attitudes and “Concise, Neat, Clean, Careful, Diligent” behavior of Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Kediri employees. Conclusion: This community service activity went smoothly, thanks to the extraordinary enthusiasm of the employees in following all the planned activities. This activity positively impacted and refreshed information about the “Concise, Neat, Clean, Careful, Diligent” Work Culture, contributing to increased knowledge, especially for employees. In addition, this service effort also received support and appreciation from the Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Kediri office

Abstract

Background: Individuals suffering from chronic kidney failure who undergo Hemodialysis therapy are prone to experiencing anxiety. The literature review aims to determine the importance of Mindfulness in overcoming anxiety in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy. Methods: The design uses the PRISMA approach. The whole text and the year of publication are considered when making selections during the research stage. Additionally, journals and papers that were judged less important were not included. Seven pertinent papers were found through Google Scholar, Indonesia One Search, DOAJ, and Garuda using the keywords "mindfulness therapy," "hemodialysis," and "anxiety." Results: After reviewing the selected articles, it was found that by administering mindfulness therapy, the anxiety level of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy decreased Conclusion: Mindfulness therapy can be used to decrease the anxiety level of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis.

Abstract

Background: Healthcare facilities, particularly hospitals, must deliver swift, precise, and reliable medical services. Additionally, all healthcare providers are mandated to implement electronic medical records as part of their service delivery. Quality services can be good if the patient's medical records are complete, fast, and precise in providing information for health services. Implementing the electronic medical record system ensures resilience, leadership, and commitment. The study aimed to analyze the factors that influence resilience policies on the commitment of the electronic medical record system at the Muhammadiyah Siti Khodijah Hospital. Methods: The quantitative research method uses a cross-sectional design. The population is all Hospital Employees. The sample is 125 employees, and the sampling technique uses Proportional Random Sampling. Independent Variables Resilience and Leadership, Independent Variable Commitment. The instrument used is a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Statistical tests use multiple linear regression Results: The results of the resilience study (X1) have an influence on commitment (Y) with (p = 0.000) < 0.05, and leadership (X2) has an impact on commitment (Y) with (p = 0.000) < 0.05, and the Adjusted R Square value is 0.935 or 93.5%. Conclusion: There is a relationship between resilience and leadership variables and commitment. Employee resilience needs to be improved to maintain the quality of policies and commitments in working. Good leadership will support the Commitment of each employee.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine how the performance of nurses in the inpatient ward I at RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang is influenced by work shifts, workloads, and work stress. This study uses a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study is 242 nurses, with a sample of 151 nurses selected using Probability Sampling techniques. The data analysis method used is SPSS with Multiple Linear Regression tests. This study found that among the morning, afternoon, and night shifts, the morning shift has the greatest influence, with a t-value of 2.164 > t-table 1.655 and a significance level of 0.032 < 0.05, indicating that the morning shift positively affects nurse performance. The influence of workload is indicated by a t-value of 9.855 > t-table 1.655 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that workload negatively affects nurse performance.

Abstract

The hospital as an advanced health facility collaborates with National Healthcare Insurance Patients (BPJS) using the INA-CBG’S package tarif grouping payment method so that quality control and cost control must be carried out. One of the diagnoses whose costs can be guaranted with BPJS is childbirth with Caesarean Section. The number of Caesarean Section is increasing from year to year and most of the patients are BPJS patients. From the Putra Waspada Hospital Financial Report, there is a negative difference in revenue receipt from Caesarean Section BPJS Patients. The aim of this research is to analyze the factors causing the difference in income revenue hospital in cases of Caesarean Section delivery for National Health Insurance Patients at Putra Waspada Hospital Tulungagung.The sample for this study was 250 medical records of patients who gave birth by caesarean section from January to December 2023.

Abstract

Employee motivation and job satisfaction are important aspects in human resource management. Healthcare professionals must do their best as healthcare leaders. Therefore, it is very important to meet the needs of health workers and ensure job satisfaction. This research aims to quantify the impact of these variables and provide insights that can guide improvements in human resource strategies within healthcare organizations to enhance employee performance. This research is a quantitative research with a cross-sectional method. A sample of 127 respondents was obtained using Proportional Random Sampling. After filling in informed consent, respondents filled out motivation, satisfaction and performance questionnaires. After that, data processing and analysis was carried out using SPSS. The calculated F value is 13.212 > F table 3.92 and the sig is 0.000 < 0.05. From these results it can be said that simultaneously, the variables Motivation (X1) and Satisfaction (X2) influence the performance variable (Y). In the multiple liner regression test, the result was Y = 16.981 + 0.127X1 + 0.291X2 + e. Motivation and satisfaction have a significant effect on the performance of health workers.
