Abstract

One type of benign tumor that is often found in women is Fibroadenoma Mammae (FAM). This is because women do not know how to do Self Breast Check Up. This study aims to see the effectiveness of providing Self Breast Check Up counseling on the ability of early detection of Fibroadenoma Mammae (FAM) disease in adolescent women at SMKN 2 Kediri. The research design used Pre Test Post Test Control Group Design were 2 sample groups, the treatment group of 105 respondents and the control group of 105 respondents. The research sample was determined by the Proportional Random Sampling technique. The measuring instrument used a questionnaire and a bivariate analysis using the Man Whitney test and the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the average value of the treatment group before receiving counseling was 13 and after receiving counseling there was an increase in the average value of 19, while the average value of the control group was 14. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed that the value of sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, then reject H0 and accept H1 which can be said that there is a significant difference between Self Breast Check Up abilities before and after giving treatment in the treatment group. Meanwhile, the results of the Mann Whitney tests showed that the sig (2-tailed) value was 0.000 < 0.05, so reject H0 accept H1 which can be said that there is a significant difference between the Self Breast Check Up abilities of the control group and the treatment group. Then it can be concluded that the counseling given to the treatment group had an effect on increasing the ability of Self Breast Check Up compared to the control group who had lower abilities. This is because in this study the control group only acted as a comparison without giving any treatment from the researcher.

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 and has been designated a pandemic by WHO. The Covid-19 outbreak has spread to various countries with an increasing number of cases, so cooperation from various sectors is needed, including the role of students. The purpose of this study was to determine understanding, coping strategies, levels of compliance and adaptive behavior towards COVID-19 in health and non-health students. The research method used is analytic, cross sectional approach in comparative research with accidental sampling technique. The number of each group is 60 respondents. The results of the path coefficient analysis model I, namely understanding (x1) the level of compliance (y) obtained a score (p = 0.002), standard coefficient: 0.261, p-Values: 0.002, 95% CI: 0.133-0.588, then coping strategies (x2) against level of compliance (y) obtained score (p = 0.000), standard coefficient: 0.347, p-Values: 0.000, 95% CI: 0.228-0.641. While the results of the coefficient model II, namely understanding (x1) adaptive behavior (z) obtained a score (p = 0.233), standard coefficient: -.087, p-Values: 0.233, 95% CI: -.318-0.78, then strategy coping (x2) on adaptive behavior (z) got a score (p=0.147), standard coefficient: 0.109, p-Values: 0.147, 95% CI: -0.049-0.321, and level of adherence (y) to adaptive behavior (z) obtained a score (p = 0.000), standard coefficient: 0.655, p-Values: 0.000, 95% CI: 0.499-0.805. The results between understanding and coping strategies have a significant effect on the level of compliance because someone who has good insight and coping strategies certainly has a good level of compliance, while the results are not significant on adaptive behavior because students are still in the adaptation stage of a new life. life so that a process is needed to make it a behavior.

Abstract

Professional Nursing Care Management (PNCM) is a structured approach aimed at improving the quality of nursing services by emphasizing patient safety and professional standards. Despite its significance, many hospitals encounter barriers in implementing PNCM optimally due to uneven educational levels, limited nurse competencies, unsupportive management systems, and low staff motivation. These challenges can lead to suboptimal nurse performance and reduced care quality. This community-based project aimed to improve nursing care quality at Dayaku Raja Regional Public Hospital through the implementation of PNCM. A SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis was conducted to identify internal and external factors affecting PNCM implementation. Based on the analysis, priority strategies were developed. Interventions included planning and organizing a care model, implementing care based on nursing standards, enhancing nurse competencies, promoting integrated documentation, and encouraging multidisciplinary collaboration. The effectiveness of implementation was evaluated using nursing quality indicators. The initial assessment led to the development and formalization of nursing care guidelines. Post-intervention evaluation showed improved compliance with nursing protocols such as standardized handovers and nursing conferences. There was a noticeable increase in patient satisfaction and quality indicators related to nursing services. The implementation of PNCM proved to be effective in enhancing nursing care quality. Strengthening nurse competencies, supporting organizational structures, and maintaining continuous quality evaluation are critical to sustaining improvements. The success at Dayaku Raja Hospital may serve as a model for similar healthcare facilities.

Assessment of hospital readiness in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic is needed to ensure that hospitals continue to maintain and improve the quality of health services and patient safety. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of hospital classification, type of service, referral status and accreditation status on hospital readiness in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic in East Java. Methods: The design of this study is a quantitative observational analytic type with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study is 385 hospitals in East Java. The sampling technique of probability sampling with a stratified random sampling approach obtained a sample of 129 hospitals. The data analysis used is Dummy Multiple Linear Regression. Results: The results showed that the classification of the hospital with a p value = 0.001 and the accreditation status with a p = 0.000 had an effect on the readiness of the hospital to face a pandemic. Meanwhile, the type of service with a p value = 0.397 and referral status with a p value = 0.077 did not affect the readiness of the hospital to face a pandemic. Conclusion: Hospital classification and accreditation status influence hospital readiness to face the COVID-19 pandemic in East Java. Therefore, regular monitoring and evaluation of readiness to face a pandemic is important for all hospitals to carry out through independent assessments. Making efforts to improve each component, especially in class C and D hospitals, as well as collaborating with the Health Service is very necessary to fulfill regulations and implement improved services for both COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 patients.

Respondents amounted to 133 people consisting of professional health workers who will later be involved implementation of EMR. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire via a google form link. Analysis using SEM (structural equation model) with Lisrel. The results showed that organizational culture significantly affected individual readiness (?=0.67, t-value=7.40). Organizational culture has a significant effect on championing behavior (?=0.42, t-value=4.10). Individual readiness significantly affects championing behavior (?=0.48 , t-value = 4.56). Individual readiness is also a significant mediator of the relationship between organizational culture and championing behavior (complementary mediation type). A strong organizational culture will support the readiness of the organization's planned changes. A strong organizational culture also influences behavior to fight for the success of the change plan. Through individual readiness, organizational culture influences behavior to fight for the successful implementation of EMR. So, organizations need to prepare individuals well for the success of the change plan. Keywords : Championing Behavior, EMR, Organizational Culture, Readiness for Change
