Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to examine the relationship between various variables in order to identify potential solutions. The research method used is qualitative, involving the analysis of published journals. Out of the five factors reviewed, three are independent variables, namely the ease of use of information systems, information system user satisfaction, and quality of information system. The executive support system for business is considered the intervening variable, while employee performance is the dependent variable. The analysis of twenty published journals concludes that the independent variables have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. The literature review suggests that businesses should take all factors into account to improve employee performance. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of liquidity, profitability, and the debt to equity ratio (DER) on stock prices of coal mining sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2022-2023. The method used is a comparative analysis of journal reviews. The results of this research can potentially serve as a reference for researchers and academics interested in the field of corporate financial analysis and financial management, with data derived from financial statements and stock market data of the companies. The findings indicate that liquidity has a significant positive effect on stock prices, suggesting that companies with higher liquidity tend to have better stock prices. Additionally, profitability also has a positive impact, reflecting the importance of profit performance in determining stock value. On the other hand, the debt to equity ratio (DER) shows a negative effect on stock prices, indicating that higher debt levels may reduce investor confidence. These findings provide insights for investors and company management in making decisions related to investment and financial strategies in the coal mining sector.

Abstract

The Coronavirus disease-19 (Covid-19) crisis has an impact on the economic performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at local and national levels. MSME actors are trying to survive the crisis through business efficiency and the national economic rescue program (PEN). This paper aims to (1) examine the resilience of MSMEs against a wave of crisis (2) the right policy formula to strengthen the competitiveness of MSMEs. This research uses descriptive qualitative method using secondary data. The data is sourced from the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives, Bank Indonesia (BI), the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the National Planning and Development Agency (Bappenas), national and international scientific journals and media sources. Slowly, the condition of MSMEs began to rise from the Covid-19 crisis through the PEN program policy which ran in September-December 2020, economic growth was better in the fourth quarter of 2020 by -2.19 percent (yoy), better than the growth in the third quarter 2020 by -3.49 percent (yoy). The distribution of the PEN program for MSMEs was successful and effective in maintaining the resilience of MSMEs from the Covid-19 crisis. The government needs to maintain economic momentum, through the synergy of MSMEs with State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), digitalization and the MSME global supply chain as well as increasing the PEN budget for MSMEs. On the other hand, the government still has a tough task to cut logistics costs which are still relatively high when compared to several ASEAN countries.

Abstract

In the particular setting of Java Island's higher education institutions, this study explores the intricate links between organizational culture, managerial effectiveness, organizational commitment, and lecturer performance. An online questionnaire was used in this study to gather data from a sample of 267 lecturers and teaching staff members. Data analysis was done using structural equation modeling using SEM-PLS 4. The findings demonstrated that lecturers' organizational commitment and performance were greatly enhanced by a supportive and upbeat corporate culture. Effective management techniques also have a positive impact on lecturers' performance and organizational commitment. Conversely, it was discovered that increased lecturer performance was closely correlated with organizational commitment. The study's results highlight how crucial it is for higher education institutions to develop a welcoming environment, enhance management procedures, and put initiatives in place to encourage professor dedication. Despite its shortcomings, this study provides insightful information for higher education institutions in Java Island and abroad, laying the groundwork for further research in the subject of higher education management.
