Abstract

This study is about language repertoire of the Chinese community in Aceh. The aim of this study is to find out (1) the mastery of variety of languages and (2) the level of language mastery of the Chinese community in Aceh. This study is based on result of research in ten cities in Aceh. The data was collected by using questionnaire and interview method. The conclusion of this research are (1) the Chinese community in Aceh is included to a group of monolingual, bilingual, and multilingual community and mastery of many languages, such as Chinese, Indonesian, Acehnese, Bahasa Jamee, Javanese, Sundanese, Bataknese, English, Japanese, Korean, and Arabic; and (2) the level of their mastery toward the languages are varied.Their mastery of Indonesian (oral and written) is at the level ‘good’. Their mastery toward oral-Chinese is ‘good’, while written-Chinese is ‘fair’. Hereinafter, their mastery toward foreign language and vernacular be at the level ‘fair’.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the local wisdom reflected through the life experiences of a socio-cultural system in Seulusoh, a novel by D. Kemalawati. The method used in this study is a qualitative analytic approach applying content analysis and in-depth interviews. The results indicate that the local wisdom articulated in the novel includes the celebration of holy days such as Ramadan fasting, meugang, and Eid al-Fitr; the inheritance of values from the older generation to the younger generation, from grandparents to grandchildren, and from parents or teachers to children; skills in making and serving traditional foods such as ie bu peudah and timphan; as well as beliefs and myths. This local wisdom is implied as a means of preserving traditional values, enhancing the ability to read signs of nature, and maintaining family pride and tradition.

Abstract

This research aims to observe Cryptocurrency which has recently been in great demand because it has advantages such as being safe from high inflation, low transaction costs and its value quickly soaring, but so far crypto money does not have a real physical form so researchers want to see how the existence of Cryptocyrenccy as a currency and investment asset in the perspective of Sharia economics the method used is a qualitative method, namely by conducting research with direct observation that is interactive and presenting the results of the research according to the data obtained. The author uses a descriptive qualitative approach, namely by collecting, compiling, and describing various documents, actual information data that aims to describe a situation being studied; The existence of cryptocurrency both as a currency and as an investment asset when viewed from an Islamic economic perspective can be said to be gharar because the intrinsic elements have not been fulfilled both from physical form, value, having a definite amount of value, ownership rights and can be handed over to the buyer.

Abstract

Rekonstruksi kasus pidana merupakan bagian penting dari proses penyidikan yang berfungsi untuk menguji kembali kebenaran keterangan saksi, tersangka, dan barang bukti secara sistematis, guna memperjelas kronologi terjadinya tindak pidana. Dalam praktiknya, kegiatan rekonstruksi kerap menarik perhatian publik dan media, karena dianggap sebagai bentuk transparansi penegakan hukum. Namun demikian, publikasi rekonstruksi secara terbuka melalui media massa maupun media sosial menimbulkan problem etis dan yuridis yang kompleks. Konflik muncul antara hak masyarakat untuk memperoleh informasi sebagai wujud kebebasan pers dan hak asasi manusia, dengan hak tersangka atas perlindungan harkat, martabat, serta asas praduga tak bersalah. Ketidakseimbangan antara kedua hak tersebut berpotensi mengakibatkan pelanggaran terhadap prinsip-prinsip dasar hukum pidana dan hak asasi manusia di Indonesia. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis secara mendalam kerangka hukum nasional yang mengatur publikasi rekonstruksi kasus pidana, dengan menelaah Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Acara Pidana (KUHAP). Metode yang digunakan adalah yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan konseptual dan perundang-undangan, didukung oleh kajian pustaka dan kode etik jurnalistik sebagai instrumen analisis normatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hingga kini belum terdapat pengaturan khusus mengenai batasan publikasi rekonstruksi perkara pidana. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pedoman etik nasional yang mengatur tata cara publikasi rekonstruksi, termasuk mekanisme izin penyidik, persetujuan pihak terkait, dan perlindungan identitas tersangka.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Find the influence of the principal's democratic leadership style on students' learning achievement. 2) Finding the effect of teacher's working motivation on students' learning achievement. 3) Discover the influence of the principal's democratic leadership style and teacher's working motivation on student learning achievement. This research uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression and multiple linear regression which is calculated using SPSS 21. The results of the calculation of simple linear regression are: 1) There is an influence of democratic leadership style on students' learning achievement based on sig values of 0,000<0,05 and the calculated t value of 4,823>2,028 and the effect of variable X1 on Y by 39,2%. 2) There is an influence of teacher work motivation on student achievement based on sig. amounted to 0,001<0,05 and the t value of 3,759>2,028 and the influence of X2 on Y was 28,2%. 3) The results of the calculation of the multiple linear regression test that there is an influence of the democratic leadership style of the principal and the work motivation of teachers together on student learning achievement based on sig values of 0,000<0,05 and the value of F value of 21,198>3,26 and the magnitude of the effect of X1 and X2 together against Y of 54,8%. Keywords: Democratic leadership style, teacher work motivation, student learning achievement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala sekolah terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. 2) Mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. 3) Mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa.
