Abstract

In an era marked by increasing cultural diversity and global interconnectedness, this article critically examines the pivotal role of multicultural Islamic education in instilling Human Rights values within multicultural societies. By fostering an educational paradigm that transcends traditional boundaries, multicultural Islamic education emphasizes the profound internalization of core principles such as tolerance, justice, inclusivity, and non-discrimination. This approach is strategically designed to cultivate moderate (wasatiyah) and humanistic learners who embody Islam's balanced, compassionate ethos across diverse contexts. Drawing on robust theoretical analysis, the study establishes meaningful linkages between universal human rights principles—derived from international frameworks such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights—and authentic Islamic perspectives. Key Islamic concepts, including human dignity (karāmah al-insān), equality before God, restorative justice ('adl), and religious freedom (hifz al-din), are meticulously aligned with the comprehensive Maqāṣid al-Sharī‘ah framework, which prioritizes the preservation of faith, life, intellect, progeny, and wealth. This integration not only resolves potential tensions between secular and religious worldviews but also enriches both by highlighting Islam's inherent commitment to human flourishing. The article further highlights practical strategies for embedding Human Rights values by promoting tolerance and interfaith dialogue, respect for minority rights, equitable social justice initiatives, and the unequivocal rejection of violence and extremism in Islamic educational curricula. Special emphasis is placed on the indispensable role of teachers and educational institutions as architects of change. Educators, equipped with pedagogical innovations and cultural competence, are positioned as key agents in crafting inclusive, participatory learning environments that encourage critical thinking, empathy, and civic engagement among students from varied backgrounds.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how problem posing based on the Geger Hanjuang Inscription artifacts elicits Bishop's six activities and to identify the types of mathematical ideas generated by students. The learning intervention was carried out through outing class activities, where students observed the inscription artifacts, conducted measurements and sketches, formulated mathematical questions based on their findings, and solved the problems posed. Using a descriptive and exploratory qualitative research design, this study examined how students interacted with cultural artifacts and processed them into meaningful mathematical ideas. Data were collected through observations, field notes, documentation, and student work, then analyzed using Bishop's six mathematical activities framework. Furthermore, the researcher triangulated sources to validate the validity of the data. The research findings indicate that cultural artifact-based learning has the potential to facilitate the emergence of various mathematical activities in students in contextual learning contexts such as measuring, designing, calculating, allocating, and explaining. Through tasks based on local culture, students demonstrated increased curiosity, contextual reasoning skills, and the ability to formulate mathematical problems independently. This study contributes by demonstrating the integration of ethnomathematics, problem posing and direct experience-based learning at cultural sites as a strategy to elicit students' mathematical activities.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pentingnya model pembelajaran mental tangguh pada masa transisi pandemi corona berbasis media sosial di Indonesia. Dalam rangka mengembangkan kesehatan mental dan membentuk mental yang tangguh, yang diperlukan dimasa krisis khusunya yang telah dialami yaitu pandemi corona, maka dilakukan model pembelajaran mental tangguh pada masa pandemi corona berbasis media sosial di Indonesia. Manfaat model pembelajaran mental tangguh pada masa pandemi corona ini dengan pelaksanaan psikoedukasi dengan memberdayakan individu, keluarga, maupun komunitas. Guna menemukan, menjaga, dan mengoptimalkan kondisi sehat mentalnya dalam menghadapi kehidupan sehari-hari walaupun dimasa krisis penyesuaian transisi pandemi corona.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cognitive mechanisms in the mental steps of fastcalculations of tradisional market traders through an ethnomathematics perspective. The study reveals the stages of thinking that enable traders to perform calculations quickly and accurately without relying on calculations tools. Using a qualitative approach with the Spradley ethnographic method, the study involved six traders at Pasar Baru Majenang who had 15-25 years of trading experience. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the traders’ fast calculation abilities are formed through long practical experience and involving four mental steps: (1) identifying information in the from of remembering quantity and prices; (2) selecting strategy through non-proportional reduction and simplification; (3) execution calculations by  untilizing the properties of arithmetic operations; and (4) checking the reasonableness of the results as a from of monitoring to ensure calculation accuracy. The novelty of this study comfirms that these mental steps reprsent a structured practical mathematical system, which complements formal procedures through the adaptation of efficient cognitive strategies in economic activities. Practically, these findings contribute to educators’ efforts to integrate the trader’s “intuitive simplification” strategy into numeracy instruction. This aims to transform strudents’ learning orientation, shifting from being fixated on standard procedures to developing fiexible reasoning and adaptive self monitoring in various calculation contexts.Mekanisme Kognitif Berhitung Cepat Pedagang Pasar Tradisional: Studi Etnomatematika di Pasar Baru MajenangABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis mekanisme kognitif dalam langkah-langkah mental berhitung cepat pedagang pasar tradisional melalui perspektif etnomatematika. Penelitian ini mengungkap tahapan berpikir yang memungkinkan pedagang melakukan perhitungan secara cepat dan akurat tanpa bergantung pada alat hitung. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi Spradley, penelitian melibatkan enam pedagang di Pasar Baru Majenang dengan pengalaman berdagang selama 15-25 tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berhitung cepat para pedagang terbentuk melalui pengalaman praktis yang panjang dan melibatkan empat langkah mental, yaitu: (1) identifikasi informasi berupa remembering kuantitas dan harga; (2) pemilihan strategi melalui non-proportional reduction dan penyederhanaan; (3) eksekusi perhitungan dengan memanfaatkan sifat operasi hitung secara intuitif; dan (4) pengecekan kewajaran hasil sebagai bentuk monitoring untuk memastikan akurasi perhitungan. Kebaruan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa langkah-langkah mental tersebut merepresentasikan sebuah sistem matematika praktis yang terstruktur, yang melengkapi prosedur formal melalui adaptasi strategi kognitif yang efisien dalam aktivitas ekonomi. Secara praktis, temuan ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pendidik untuk mengintegrasikan strategi “penyederhanaan intuitif” pedagang ke dalam pembelajaran numerasi. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mentransformasikan orientasi belajar siswa agar tidak hanya terpaku pada prosedur baku, tetapi mampu mengembangkan fleksibilitas penalaran dan self-monitoring yang adaptif terhadap berbagai konteks perhitungan.Kata Kunci :Etnomatematika, Berhitung Cepat; Langkah Mental; Pedagang Pasar

Abstract

Komitmen organisasi merupakan faktor penting yang menentukan loyalitas dan keberlangsungan anggota dalam sebuah organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh iklim organisasi, servant leadership, dan keterlibatan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi pada Keluarga Mahasiswa Advent Yogyakarta (KMAY). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data diperoleh dari 94 anggota aktif KMAY melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS versi 26. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah nonprobability sampling, yaitu metode penentuan sampel yang dapat dilakukan melalui sampling jenuh atau sensus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklim organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi, servant leadership berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan, serta keterlibatan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel tersebut berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin kondusif iklim organisasi dan semakin tinggi keterlibatan anggota, maka semakin kuat komitmen mereka terhadap organisasi, meskipun gaya kepemimpinan melayani belum berdampak signifikan. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya membangun lingkungan organisasi yang positif dan mendorong keterlibatan aktif anggota.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning transformation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) through the Deep Learning approach at the Luqman Al Hakim Integrated Islamic Elementary School Yogyakarta. This approach is implemented as a solution to create a learned, meaningful, and enjoyable learning experience for students. This qualitative research uses a case study design with data collection techniques through triangulation involving school principals, PAI teachers, and students in grades III and VI. The research instruments included in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies on the Fifth Edition of JSIT Indonesia's Quality Standards, School Operational Curriculum (KOS), and In-Depth Learning Plans (RPM). Data analysis is carried out through the stages of reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that SDIT Luqman Al Hakim Yogyakarta has taken transformative steps by implementing a Deep Learning approach in stages  in PAI subjects. Through careful planning, participatory implementation, and authentic process-based evaluation.  This research makes a theoretical and practical contribution as well as a reference in the development of transformative learning strategies in elementary schools.

Abstract

Purpose of the Study: To explore early childhood experiences in PAUD and elementary school (SD) that contribute to children's initial awareness and understanding of careers in the context of school-based career guidance. Methodology: Qualitative approach, phenomenological design; tools: semi-structured interviews, direct observation, documentation; analysis method: Colaizzi; participants: two purposively selected children aged 4 and 9; software/tools: manual coding without specific software; data sources: children's verbal responses, behavior, and creative work. Main Findings: Children’s career ideals shaped by visual media, direct experience, and close environment; understanding of work remains basic but developing; schools introduce careers through role-play and visual aids; parents support awareness via play tools and discussion. Four main thematic findings emerged highlighting the importance of combined school-family efforts. Novelty/Originality of this Study: This study uniquely captures early career awareness from children’s perspectives using phenomenological analysis. It introduces fresh insights into how early education environments and families collaboratively shape initial career concepts, offering foundational input for developing contextualized, age-appropriate career guidance in elementary education.

Abstract

Pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables pose a danger to human health if consumed for a certain period. This requires appropriate technology for household scale and is environmentally friendly. Ozone is a strong oxidizing agent capable of degrading pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables. Ozone is a green chemical compound because it does not produce harmful derivative compounds, and is even friendly to the environment. The development of a mini ozone generator with DBD technology has been successfully carried out. The DDBD reactor is made of Pyrex glass with a length of 10 cm and an outer diameter of 4 cm. The reactor uses electrodes made of copper plates. The outer electrode is 13 cm long and 5 cm wide, while the inner electrode is 10 cm long and 5 cm wide. Optimization of the mini ozone generator is carried out using high voltage AC pulses whose pulse frequency can be varied from 30 to 60 Hz with 10 Hz intervals. The free air flow rate was varied at 0.2 – 0.8 lpm with an interval of 0.2 lpm. The optimum ozone production of 480 mg/l was obtained at a voltage setting of 2.8 kV and a frequency of 50 Hz and a flow rate of 0.2 lpm. In this setting, the DDBD reactor consumes 9.32 watts of power. The development of mini ozone generator technology has the potential to be applied on a household scale because of the small reactor size and low power consumption.
