Abstract

Community Service Activities (PPM) carried out by lecturers of the Civil Engineering Study Program, PGRI Palembang University at SMK Negeri 1 Suak Tapeh, Banyuasin Regency, aims so that students and teachers can get to know and increase knowledge about the basics of drawing a construction design using the 2D autoCAD application, basic by drawing simple shapes such as trapezoid, circle and simple house, and being able to operate and apply the AutoCAD 2D application program in teaching and learning activities in schools. The method or method applied is to provide theoretical explanations orally and practice directly in the school computer laboratory. The number of participants who attended was 30 students, most of whom did not know autoCAD. After participating in and practicing directly, of the 30 students who took part in this workshop based on the results of monitoring on the student's computer screen, it was seen that almost 90% of students could follow well and could draw according to the instructor's direction. There are 7% of students who have not been able to follow optimally with the condition that the pictures made are not in accordance with the provisions and there are 3% of students who cannot follow due to problems on the computer used

Abstract

In a small-sized to big-sized company, evaluate the information system success is essential, yet notalways been seamless. Successful implementation of a system can be indicated by measuring its usersatisfaction. This study aims to measure Adempiere ERP Open Source end-user satisfaction atBlessings SME’s. This study employs three variables from The Updated DeLone and McLean Information System Success (2003), namely information system quality, information quality, andservice quality, and two variables from Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as well, namely perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, and also takes top management support as another consideration. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to the respondents directly concerned. The findings showed that information quality, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and top management support have significant positive impact to Adempiere ERP Open Source enduser satisfaction, whereas information system quality and service quality have positive impact but not significantly.Keywords: Small-Medium Enterprises, information system quality, information quality, servicequality, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, top management support, end usersatisfaction, information system

Abstract

Pengabdian ini berjudul “PKM Kelompok Ternak Sapi Potong di Desa Tanjung Rejo, Kecamatan Wuluhan, Kabupaten Jember, Provinsi Jawa Timur”. Permasalahan utama berkaitan dengan ketersediaan pakan yang dihadapi usaha ternak sapi potong ini adalah: (1) menjaga ketersediaan pakan hijauan, khususnya  di musim penghujan, (2) membuat pakan dari bahan di sekitar mereka. Berdasar permasalahan tersebut, maka solusi yang ditawarkan  adalah penyuluhan dan atau praktek tentang: (1) pemanfaatan sela-sela pekarangan/sawah yang dimiliki dengan menanam rumput terutama rumput gajah, (2) pembuatan fermentasi jerami untuk mengganti pakan hijauan, (3) pembuatan pakan konsentrat. Metode yang dipakai dalam  pencapaian  tujuan  tersebut adalah : (1) Metode Pendekatan Personal kepada ketua dan anggota kelompok, (2) Metode Penyuluhan, dan (3) Metode Pendekatan Praktek. Hasilnya, Tim Pelaksana Pengabdian Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) telah melakukan penyuluhan dan praktek sehingga peternak mampu:  (1) memanfaatkan di sela-sela pekarangan/sawah yang dimiliki dengan menanam rumput terutama rumput gajah, (2) pembuatan fermentasi jerami untuk mengganti pakan hijauan, (3) membuat pakan konsentrat dengan menggunakan bahan baku yang ada di sekitar mereka dengan penambahan probiotik, untuk menghasilkan pakan ternak berkualitas  tinggi.Kata Kunci: PKM, Ternak, Sapi Potong, Pakan

Abstract

Tuanku Imam Bonjol Museum is one of the places visited by many tourists because it has good and strong potential and attraction to attract tourists so that this historical tourist attraction is prioritized in its development and as a mainstay of tourist attraction in Pasaman Regency. So the author is interested in conducting a research entitled "Tourism Communications Education and Culture Departement in Promoting the Tuanku Imam Bonjol Museum as a Historical Tourism Destination in Pasaman Regency."This study uses a qualitative descriptive type of research. The research subjects here consist of seven people, where the subject is directly related to promoting the Tuanku Imam Bonjol Museum. This study uses data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Researchers use data analysis methods Miles & Huberman analysis consists of three streams of activities that occur simultaneously, namely: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing/verification. To achieve the validity of the data in this study, the authors used extension of participation and triangulation.The results showed that, the first source was the Department of Education and Culture of Pasaman Regency. And second, the message contains persuasive, informative and educational. The three channels (Media) are print media and the use of Facebook as social media. The four receivers are targeting elementary-high school students and are open to the general public of Pasaman and from outside Pasaman. Fifth, we can see the obstacles in promoting the Tuanku Imam Bonjol museum, only the development of the use of social media in promoting and the wider spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Abstract

Swallow's Nest Tax, which has the potential to become a concern and target of thegovernment in collecting swallow's nest tax. nfortunately, until the end of 2018it turned out that the application of tax collection on swallow's nests had not been realized well enough. This thesis discusses how performance The Regional Government of Pekanbaru City in managing the swallow's nest tax in this case is the Regional Revenue Agency (Bappenda) of Pekanbaru City as a revenue supportfunction. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors causing the realization of swallow's nest tax revenue in Pekanbaru City not to be achieved. The theoretical concept used by the researcher is the causative factor of not achieving the Realization of Swallow's Nest Tax Revenue and the Optimization of Local Taxes. This study used a qualitative research method with descriptive data analysis. In collecting data researchers used interview echniques, observation and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded that the factors causing the failure to achieve Swallow's Nest Tax are due to lack of coordination, weak quality of personnel capabilities, as well as inaccuracy in determining basic data and lack of awareness of taxpayers. Efforts must be made by the Regional Revenue Agency of Pekanbaru City to increase nest tax revenue swiftlet namely Expanding the Acceptance base, trengthening the Collection Process and Increasing Supervision. Abstract

Diskominfo is one of the Dumai city government agencies that is committed to realizing electronic government within the scope of the Dumai City Government. The application of E-Absence is also in line with Mayor Regulation Number 8 of 2021 regarding the provision of additional income for employees within the Dumai City Government. The purpose of this study was to find out how the communicator strategy, message strategy, media strategy, audience strategy, the response/effect of the leader's communicant regarding the E-Absence program in increasing the discipline of the Dumai City Diskominfo office employees. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method using a strategic communication model. The research subject is the Head of the Communication and Information Technology office, as well as office employees. The object in this study is the leadership communication strategy regarding Website-based E-Attendance in increasing employee discipline by using interview, observation, and research documentation data collection techniques. triangulation. Data analysis techniques are: data presentation, comparison, and drawing conclusions. The strategy for selecting communicators is based on warrants and based on the factors that communicators must have, message strategies are grouped into two, namely informative messages in the form of appeals about switching attendance systems from manual to digital, and persuasive messages in the form of invitations from the head of department to be adaptive in implementing the new system In this case, there are two media strategies, the first is using online media in the form of websites and social media, namely Instagram and Facebook, the audience selection strategy is employees of the Dumai City Diskominfo office and other regional apparatus organizations as well as responses. The response given by the audience is a positive response, namely appreciation by leadership employees who are considered very appropriate in conveying messages so that employees are able to accept and adapt. Abstract

Education is a very important element to create quality human resources. British village be in a village as a faster alternative school for her student the English language. Learning is done every day of the week starting from morning till night for six months more quickly proven to help her improve their language skills. By using the communication strategy learning in teaching and learning in the English village. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning strategies used in the English village, teacher communication process with the students in learning English, and know the communication media used in teaching and learning in English village.This study uses qualitative research methods with the presentation of analysis desktriptif. The informants are teachers as lecturers and students of English villages were selected purposively. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the technique used in this research is triangulation and extension of participation.The results obtained show that learning strategies English teacher in the village using ekspositorik and heuristic strategies, learning strategies also helped by using teaching methods such as exercise method and method of administration tasks. The communication process is done by teachers and students see the opportunities then sets objectivity and create an alternative strategy, then implement these strategies in the learning process and the final evaluation of what has been done and compared with the previous plan drawn up. Abstract

This research is motivated by the author's interest in the rise of the Single mother phenomenon in Pekanbaru. Whether it's a woman who becomes a single mother due to divorce, the death of her partner, or is no longer supported or abandoned by her partner, a single mother still has the obligation to meet the needs of her family as a father and mother at the same time. Single mothers must be able to balance their time to earn a living as the head of the family and still provide love as a mother. Single mothers will face various kinds of challenges and trials in raising their children alone. Therefore, this study aims to determine the meaning, communication experience and self-concept of single mothers in child care in Pekanbaru This study used a qualitative research method using a phenomenological approach and consisted of 5 informants selected using purposive techniques. Data and information were collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data modeling and conclusion drawing/verification. To carry out data validity, the authors use the technique of extending observations, increasing persistence, and increasing reference materials The results showed that the meaning of single mother in child care in Pekanbaru consisted of being receptive to single mother status which included a sincere attitude in living life, starting a new life, and being ready to risk becoming a single mother. Furthermore, a pleasant communication experience for single mothers is getting understanding from children, being proud to be an independent woman, and getting support from family and the surrounding environment. And unpleasant communication experiences, namely getting unfavorable treatment from the surrounding environment, difficulty raising children alone, and economic problems. Then the single mother self-concept in child care consists of a positive self-concept and a negative self-concept. Positive self-concept consists of single mother acceptance of single mother status in child care, self-disclosure to the environment and people around, good treatment from the surrounding environment, and openness to experience. While the negative self-concept of single mothers in child care in Pekanbaru consists of unfavorable treatment from the surrounding environment, tends to close themselves to experience, and closes themselves to new experiences and people.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to manage the impression of the front stage and back stage of female parking attendants in Pekabaru. This research uses qualitative research with dramaturgy approach. By using purposive techniques in determining informants. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate, when on the front stage the female parking attendant has communication to customers both verbally in the form of greetings, non-verbal can be seen from the signs and attributes used. And at the back stage, the real life of female parking attendants at home and at work is very different, where at work they play a role as parking attendants that are no different from male parking attendants who look strong and tough, but when they are at the parking attendant's house women have strong maternal instincts, it can be seen from their ability to balance between work and as housewives who are responsible for their children. Abstract

Realization of investment in Indonesia is dominated by foreign investors where capital intensive sector such as mining industry is the primary focus. To strengthen their roles in national economies, foreign investors should be directed to plantation sector since it has huge role in labor absorption and positive trade balance. According to MP3EI, realization of investment in plantation sector has reached 2.29 percent in march 2013 which was still below of target. This research aimed to analyze determinants of foreign direct investment conducted vector error correction model analysis and formulated strategies by using SWOT matrix to increase Indonesia plantation sector. Variables used in this model were foreign direct investment, exports value, exchange rates, domestic interest rates, interest rates in United State of America, consumer price index, gross domestic product and crisis as dummy variable. The strategy alternatives were formulated by SWOT model based on the questionnaire and respondents interview designed in analytical hierarchy process framework. The result from model suggested that in the short term exchange rate, value of exports, United States interest rates, gross domestic product and consumer price index had positive impact to foreign direct investment. On the other side crisis had negative impact. Meanwhile in long term, domestic interest rates, gross domestic product and consumer price index had positive impact but crisis had negative contribution. The strategy priority to increase foreign direct investment in Indoensia plantation sector can be undertaken through harmonization between central and local governments regulations.Keywords: Foreign Direct Investment, Vector Error Correction Model, SWOT Matrix
