Abstract

Abstrak Kelompok Tani Timbul Tani Desa Abumbun Jaya Kecamatan Sungai Tabuk mengelola lahan rawa untuk budidaya padi sawah yang ditanam secara polikultur dengan tanaman hortikultura dengan sistem surjan.  Tanaman cabai besar merupakan tanaman andalan yang dibudidayakan sejak tahun 2020.  Permasalahan yang dihadapi petani setempat saat ini adalah penurunan produksi cabai jauh di bawah potensi hasil serta serangan organisme pengganggu tanaman.  Bimbingan teknis mengenai budidaya cabai besar sistem surjan di lahan rawa telah dilakukan pada bulan Agustus 2024 di Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian Kecamatan Sungai Tabuk.  Kegiatan ini berbasis permasalahan pada pengolahan lahan dan tindak budidaya cabai pada lahan sub optimal rawa. Mitra sasaran adalah kelompok tani Timbul Tani dengan kategori masyarakat produktif secara ekonomi. Metode pelaksanaan adalah ceramah dan diskusi. Narasumber adalah tim pengabdi.  Petani menyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini sangat berharga karena petani dapat menyampaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi di lapangan dan bertukar pengalaman dalam melakukan budidaya.  Saat ini, petani telah melakukan rotasi tanaman untuk meningkatkan produktivitas cabai besar di lahan rawa pada pertanaman selanjutnya. Kata kunci: hortikultura; kelompok tani; pengabdian masyarakat; kearifan lokal. Abstract The Timbul Tani Farmer Group in Abumbun Jaya Village, Sungai Tabuk District, manages swamp land for cultivating lowland rice planted in polyculture with horticultural plants using the surjan system. Large chili plants are the mainstay plants that have been cultivated since 2020. The problems currently faced by local farmers are a decrease in chili production far below the potential yield and attacks by plant pests. Technical guidance on cultivating large chilies using the surjan system in swamp land was carried out in August 2024 at the Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian of Sungai Tabuk District. This activity is based on the problems faced in order to increase chili production in Abumbun Jaya Village. The target partners are the Timbul Tani farmer groups with an economically productive community category.. The implementation method is lectures and discussions. The resource person is a community service team. Farmers stated that this activity was very valuable because farmers could convey the problems faced in the field and exchange experiences in carrying out cultivation. This activity is expected to continue to help farmers increase the production of large chilies. Keywords: horticulture; farmer groups; community service; local wisdom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh formulasi pupuk NPK-hayati terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jagung hibrida BISI 234 di lahan rawa lebak Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok satu faktor dengan empat taraf perlakuan (100%, 75%, 50%, dan 25% NPK yang dikombinasikan dengan pupuk hayati), masing-masing diulang enam kali. Parameter yang diamati meliputi pertumbuhan vegetatif, waktu berbunga, serta komponen hasil. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan 75% NPK + hayati secara signifikan meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, berat brangkasan, dan komponen hasil seperti diameter tongkol, jumlah baris dan biji per tongkol. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa dosis NPK dapat dikurangi tanpa menurunkan produktivitas bila dikombinasikan dengan pupuk hayati. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam strategi pemupukan adaptif dan efisien pada lahan suboptimal, serta membuka peluang studi lanjutan mengenai sinergi mikroba tanah dalam peningkatan produktivitas pertanian berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Every educational institution has a distinct pattern of facilities and infrastructure management as a determinant of educational quality, as regulated in the National Education Standards; however, in practice, such management has not fully reflected optimal professionalism and standardization. This study aims to analyze and compare the management of facilities and infrastructure between traditional (salaf) and modern Islamic boarding schools based on the concepts of planning, organizing, implementation, and maintenance. Employing a qualitative approach with a comparative case study design, this research utilizes secondary data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data collection, reduction, display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal significant differences between islamic boarding school Bahruttulab and islamic boarding school Darussalam Banyuwangi, where the salaf pesantren tends to apply a flexible, needs-based management pattern, whereas the modern pesantren implements a more systematic and structured approach. Despite its contributions, this study has limitations; therefore, future research is recommended to involve a broader range of pesantren with diverse characteristics, apply quantitative or mixed methods approaches for more comprehensive findings, and develop an integrated facilities and infrastructure management model that combines pesantren values with modern management principles to systematically address the challenges of globalization in Islamic education.

Abstract

This study employed a qualitative approach using a multi-case study design to explore in depth how service excellence and competitive identity strategies are implemented across several Islamic schools operating within multi-faith communities. The multi-case study design was purposively selected because the focus of this research lies in examining bounded systems in the form of educational institutions with distinctive managerial characteristics, rather than investigating the lived psychological experiences of individuals, which is the primary concern of phenomenological research. Through this approach, the researchers were able to conduct cross-case analysis to compare cases, identify patterns of replication, and generate stronger theoretical abstractions regarding the differentiation of school reputation management strategies in heterogeneous societies. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis of school standard operating procedures. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing through source triangulation. The findings reveal that successful Islamic schools have effectively transformed the Islamic value of Ihsan into a standard of professional service, developed an inclusive identity that transcends sectarian boundaries, and fostered parental loyalty based on academic quality and universal ethical values rather than solely on religious sentiment. These findings underscore that the integration of managerial professionalism and spiritual values constitutes a critical factor enabling faith-based educational institutions to achieve social legitimacy and long-term sustainability within diverse and heterogeneous communities.
