The objective of this research isto prove and explain The Effect Of TaxManagement, Bonus Mechanism And Foreign Ownership On Transfer Pricing Decisionpartially and simultaneously. This researchused purposive sampling criteria and logistic regression analysis test. Total sample 76 companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during 2012-2014. The result showed that tax management have a positive impact and significant on Transfer Pricing Decision. Bonus mechanismhave a positive impact and significant on onTransfer Pricing Decision, Foreign Ownershiphave a positive impact and significant on onTransfer Pricing Decision and all these variables effect simultaneously on Transfer Pricing Decision

Horizontal Biofilter System in Tapioca Starch Wastewater Treatment: The Influence of Filter Media on the Effluent Quality Nur Hidayat; Sri Suhartini; Dian Indriana

The aim of this research was to analyse the use of different filter media at laboratory scale under a horizontal biofilter system treating tapioca starch wastewater (TSW) to improve the effluent quality that met the national standard. The completely randomized design was used in this study. A horizontal biofilter system was designed and filled with filter media, include sand, gravel, soil (entisol type), coconut fibre and bamboo plait, in each unit. Prior feeding to the biofilter unit, TSW was inoculated with Bacillus sp. N-09. The TSW flow rate was maintained at 6 l d-1 and operated for 1-month period. The results showed that the use of sand as filter media gave a better performance in improving the TSW effluent quality followed by gravel, coconut fibre, soil and bamboo plait. The horizontal biofilter system packed with sand filter media removed 98.53 % BOD, 98.71 % COD, 88.96 % TSS, and increased pH to 8.0.

Selection of Pseudomonas sp. for Lipid and Detergent Degradation Nur Hidayat; Luqman Nur Chandra

The objective of the research was to identify which Pseudomonas species has the ability to alter lipids and surfactants simultaneously. This research was conducted by using three Pseudomonas species, vegetable oil, and commercial detergent which contains Linear Alkyl Sulfonate LAS. The result shows that Pseudomonas aeruginosa is able to reduce lipids and surfactant 80.53% and 61.22% respectively.

Menurunnya nilai karakter yang dimiliki oleh anak disebabkan dengan perubahan pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan daring. Orang tua perlu menanamkan nilai karakter islami selama proses pembelajaran daring karena penanaman nilai karakter terhadap anak dapat menjadi pondasi untuk mewujudkan perubahan kepribadian baik dalam perubahan aktivitas sehari-hari. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu untuk menggungkapkan bagaimana peranan orang tua menanamkan nilai karakter islami pada anak selama pembelajaran daring. penelitian mengacu pada pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif metode studi kasus, informasi data didapatkan dari data observasi dan wawancara dengan 5 orang tua mempunyai anak sekitar usia 6 sampai 12 tahun di Desa Nibung Provinsi Bangka Belitung. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peran orang tua menanamkan nilai karakter islami melalui 3 kegiatan yaitu 1) menanamkan akidah dan akhlak yang bertanggung jawab, peduli kepada sesama, bersyukur, menghormati guru, mengerjakan tugas dengan tepat waktu dan senantisa beharap serta berdoa kepada Allah SWT; 2) Abad yang dibiasakan sebelum melakukan kegiatan diawali mengucapkan basmallah, menggunakan tangan kanan dan kaki kanan, mengucapkan salam dengan orang yang lebih tua. Makan dan minum dengan keadaan duduk, melaksanakan shalat wajib dan sunnah duhha, murajoah hafalan ayat al- qur’an setelah melaksanakan shalat 3) Membatasi penggunaan gadget pada anak dapat disesuaikan dengan tahap perkembangan dan usia anak. Strategi yang dapat dilakukan agar anak tidak menggunakan gadget dengan menggarahkan anak melakukan aktivitas dibidang olahraga.

Literary works are frequently used to express human expression through words, making literary works one of the unique mediums to express these expressions. The uniqueness lies within the language used to construct the story itself. Therefore, this study aims to uncover the factors that make a literary work great through formalism and defamiliarization theory, furthermore uncovering the impact of the factors on the story. Using a qualitative research method specifically close reading, this study describes how the strength of a short story The Tell-Tale Heart written by Edgar Allan Poe according to both formalism and defamiliarization theory can contribute to the construction of the story. The construction of the story relies on its tension which is delivered through the use of its imageries, form/structure, parallelism, etc. It can be concluded that the possession of the formalism elements helps the story to shape its nuance and its atmospheric storytelling

Analysis of Problems and Obstacles in Class Learning Processes at Islamic School Citra Taman Siswa Dewi Rosaria Indah; Nur Hidayat

This activity aims to analyse the problems & obstacles that occur in the learning process in the classroom. The subjects of this activity were several Math & English teachers in grades 4 and 6 of MI Citra Taman Siswa Menganti. In the implementation of this activity, the method used is a rubric (observation form). The results of the activity showed that there were several problems & obstacles in the learning process at MI Citra Taman Siswa including mastery of learning material, learning methods & lack of learning media covering 4 things: triggering question missed to stimulate students' curiosity, lack of explanation to understand concepts in Mathematics, lack of use of realia in mathematics learning & lack of use of media and learning resources in English classes.

Training Media Learning for Teachers of MI Citra Taman Siswa Nur Hidayat

This community program aims to increase understanding and awareness to educators about the importance of media in the learning process. The subjects of this activity are the teachers of MI Citra Taman Siswa Menganti. In the implementation of this activity, the method used is lecture, question and answer, discussion and practice. The result of the activity shows that with the learning media training activities can improve the understanding and ability of MI Citra Taman Siswa teachers in using media in the learning process. The result of the community program suggests the school to provide supporting training activity with other relevant institution. Finally, the quality of training has to be carefully taken into account to improve teachers’ professionalism.

The Effect of Extensive Reading on Students’ Reading Achievement Of Senior High School Eka Mardiana; Nur Hidayat

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of extensive reading on students’ reading achievement for senior high school grade X. The extensive reading was an alternative method in the teaching reading to make the students fun and easy to get the meaning of texts from many sources. The subjects were 27 students at grade X in the academic year 2018/2019. The researcher applied by using in a quasi-experimental design using a quantitative approach. The instrument of this research used pre-questionnaires, test and observation. The technique of analyzing data was applied by using a paired sample t-test from the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences 22 (SPSS22). The result of the analysis showed that the mean of the pre-test was 79, 85 and the mean of post-test was 85, 56. The mean score of posttest was higher than pretest in experimental class who were taught by extensive reading. It concluded that the implementation of the extensive reading can give positive effects to the students. It was supported by the result of observation showed that the students were enthusiastically to answer the question, many vocabularies, fun, enjoyable, easy to understand the meaning of the texts and more active in the teaching learning.

JOOX Application as a Media to Improve Students’ Pronunciation Ari Astutik; Nur Hidayat; Indah Rosyida

The newest students in university often have difficulty with pronunciation in English. This article is based on the study on students’ pronunciation of Wijaya putra Surabaya University in the first semester. The purpose of this study is to improve the sudents’ pronunciation achievement by using Joox as a media. The subjects were 15 students of wijaya Putra University in the first semester. The data of the study were collected by interview, observation and test. The design of this study was classroom action research which consist of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. In analyzing the data, researcher compared the result of all instruments (interview, observation and test) and concluded it. The result showed that Jooox had positive effect to improve students’ pronunciation achievement.

This research is motivated by the role of language that is very important in the development of science and technology, especially English which is one of the foreign languages that are widely used in every aspect of life such as science, education, culture, business, and entertainment. The author looks at the reality of the lack of mastery of English in the educational environment, especially in the ability to speak. This study aims to describe changes in behaviour after learning English using online video learning media. The theoretical benefit of this research is for the development of science and as a provision for teachers so that it can overcome the problems that occur to students in order to improve the quality of education better. Practical benefits of this research are expected to provide input for English teachers in choosing media as an alternative to improve the quality of learning English and can provide input to teachers in the use of online learning video media for learning English (the ability to speak). The method used in this study is a research method of classroom action with two cycles carried out on the teacher discuss a UK and students of class X SMA Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection is carried out by testing and non-test. Data analysis is carried out with quantitative and qualitative techniques. Quantitative data analysis is obtained by calculating the overall student value and recapping the test scores, then calculating the average value obtained. The expected results of this study can be concluded that learning by using online video learning media can improve students' speaking ability and can change student behaviour towards positive.
