Abstract

This research aims to delve into the implementation of the concept of maslahah in the revolving fund loan or financing program managed by the Cooperatives, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Revolving Fund Management Agency (LPDB-KUMKM). The research method employed is a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach. Secondary data was obtained from various sources, including journals, relevant research, and books related to the research context. The results of the research indicate that LPDB-KUMKM has overall implemented the maslahah concept in its programs. This finding is reflected in several aspects. Firstly, LPDB-KUMKM has successfully fostered economic self-reliance for its cooperative and MSME partners through fund provision, training, and mentoring. Secondly, the institution ensures that all implemented programs adhere to the characteristics of Sharia compliance by avoiding elements of usury, ambiguity, and gambling. Thirdly, the institution conducts a comprehensive risk evaluation, encompassing credit risk, operational risk, and compliance risk. The fourth, LPDB-KUMKM actively engages in community empowerment through training programs, mentoring, and providing access to other resources. The fifth aspect encompasses LPDB-KUMKM's commitment to accountability and transparency at every stage of revolving fund management. Finally, the institution actively participates in an ongoing evaluation and improvement process to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the implemented programs.

Abstract

Agenda pembangunan yang terkait peningkatan kesejahteraan kerap mengalami kegagalan. Pembangunan dan model kebijakan yang sangat elites serta mengesampingkan nila-nilai kearifan lokal menjadi salah satu akar penyebab kegagalan tersebut. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menelaah bagaimana program pembangunan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai luhur atau kapital sosial yang ada sebagai Engine of Development. Dalam konteks pembangunan desa di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, untuk mencapai visi yang tertuang dalam “NTB Gemilang” memiliki program Trade and Distribution Center desa yakni program distribusi dan pusat perdagangan di desa melalui skema bisnis Badan Usaha Milik Desa. Skema ini bertujuan untuk modernisasi dan digitilasasi desa dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pokok masyarakat desa. Namun, dalam perkembangan studi mengenai Badan Usaha Milik Desa di Indonesia pada umumnya merupakan kebijakan yang kerap diselewengkan untuk kepentingan politik dan pembangunan yang sifatnya parsial dan jangka pendek. Studi ini mencoba menelaah dan memberikan kajian kritis terhadap hilangnya kapital sosial dalam implementasi program Trade and Distribution Center desa. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif eksploratif, studi ini berfokus pada pilot poject Trade and Distribution Center di wilayah Lombok Barat NTB yang secara implisit telah menemukan jawaban bahwa kapital sosial tidak tereproduksi dalam agenda pembangunanan dikarenakan pembangunan yang tergambar sangat politis dan elites baik dalam penyusunan maupun implementasinya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policy of providing United States military assistance to Ukraine during the 2022 Russian invasion. The policy of the United States deciding to provide military assistance to Ukraine to help Ukraine resist the Russian invasion drew reactions from the international community as well as from Russia itself. This study aims to analyze this in the context of: exploring the types of assistance, the reasons & objectives behind policy making, and their implications for the relationship between the United States and Russia. This study will use the Rational Actor Model Theory to analyze the reasons behind the policy of granting military to Ukraine by the United States which has considered all available viewpoints, alternatives, and solutions so as to achieve the highest objectives of the policy. In looking at the goals to be achieved by the United States in policy making, the concept of national interest will provide insight into what the United States’ intended goals behind their policy of providing military assistance to Ukraine. The results indicate that the given aid is an investment whose benefits outweighs its costs, as well as the United States justifying their aid provision to Ukraine under defense, ideological and economic interests

Abstract

The Computer Engineering program at UNISKA Kediri is a study program focused on information technology. Despite being an IT-based program, the process of determining Final Project a lecture is carried out through a coordination meeting mechanism with the lecturers. In this meeting, a lecture matched based on their expertise and the topic of the Final Project proposed by each student. This discussion process requires a significant amount of time, making student services less efficient in terms of time management. To address this issue, a decision support system is needed to help the program coordinator expedite the lecture assignment process without compromising the accuracy of matching lecturer expertise to the students Final Project topics. This research uses the MOORA method (Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis). This method effectively conducts multi-criteria selection by considering various factors. The results of this study, based on data from 10 trials using the MOORA method, showed an accuracy of 90%, meaning that students were assigned a lecture in line with their respective areas of interest.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the effectiveness of cash waqf implementation at Nu-Care LazisNU Yogyakarta in alleviating poverty, according to the legal effectiveness theory proposed by Soerjono Soekanto. Conducted as field research with a sociological legal approach, the study reveals that, overall, the implementation of cash waqf at Nu-Care LazisNU Yogyakarta is ineffective in alleviating poverty. This ineffectiveness is attributed to various factors, including legal, law enforcement, infrastructure, societal, and cultural factors. Although Nu-Care LazisNU Yogyakarta has not fully optimized poverty alleviation, at least some of the mauqūf alaih who received capital loans from NU-Care LazisNU D.I.Y have managed to surpass the absolute poverty threshold, earning above 1.25 dollars per day or above the national and regional poverty lines. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami secara mendalam tentang efektivitas pelaksanaan wakaf tunai di Nu-Care LazisNU Yogyakarta dalam mengentaskan kemiskinan menurut teori efektivitas hukum yang dikemukakan oleh Soerjono Soekanto. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan hukum sosiologis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara umum pelaksanaan wakaf tunai di Nu-Care LazisNU Yogyakarta tidak efektif dalam mengentaskan kemiskinan. Hal ini diakibatkan oleh beberapa faktor yaitu faktor hukum, faktor penegak hukum, faktor sarana, faktor masyarakat, dan faktor budaya. Meskipun Nu-Care Lazisnu Yogyakarta belum sepenuhnya dapat mengoptimalkan pengentasan kemiskinan, setidaknya dari sebagian mauqūf alaih yang mendapat pinjaman modal dari NU-Care LazisNU D.I.Y telah mampu melampaui target ambang batas kemiskinan absolut dengan mendapatkan penghasilan di atas 1,25 dolar perhari atau di atas garis kemiskinan nasional dan daerah.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Digital transformation in education demands a fundamental shift in the way schools are managed, particularly at the leadership level. Principals, as learning leaders, are required not only to understand technology but also to strategically manage organizational culture change. This study aims to uncover principals' leadership strategies in managing digital-based change at the junior high school level. The approach used was a qualitative interpretive approach with a multiple case study design, involving principals from public and private junior high schools in Pakong District, Pamekasan Regency, who have experience in digital transformation. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, limited observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, while validity was maintained through triangulation of sources and methods. The study's findings are divided into three main themes. First, the meaning of digital leadership is reflectively interpreted by principals as the ability to integrate technological vision with participatory leadership values. Second, the managerial strategies employed include strengthening teacher capacity, digitizing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control, and optimizing digital communication platforms. Third, the main challenges faced are teacher resistance, infrastructure inequality, and resource limitations, but these are offset by innovative solutions and local best practices. This study provides theoretical contributions to the development of a locally context-based digital leadership model, as well as practical implications for policymakers designing programs to improve the capacity of school principals to manage change in the digital era. ABSTRAK Transformasi digital dalam pendidikan menuntut pergeseran mendasar dalam cara sekolah dikelola, khususnya pada level kepemimpinan. Kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin pembelajaran dituntut tidak hanya mampu memahami teknologi, tetapi juga mengelola perubahan budaya organisasi secara strategis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mengelola perubahan berbasis digital di tingkat sekolah menengah pertama. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif interpretatif dengan desain studi kasus multipel, melibatkan kepala sekolah dari SMP negeri dan swasta di Kecamatan Pakong, Kabupaten Pamekasan, yang telah memiliki pengalaman dalam transformasi digital. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup wawancara mendalam, observasi terbatas, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model Miles dan Huberman, sedangkan validitas dijaga melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode. Temuan studi ini terbagi dalam tiga tema utama. Pertama, makna kepemimpinan digital dimaknai secara reflektif oleh kepala sekolah sebagai kemampuan mengintegrasikan visi teknologi dengan nilai-nilai kepemimpinan partisipatif. Kedua, strategi manajerial yang digunakan meliputi penguatan kapasitas guru, digitalisasi SOP dan kontrol mutu, serta optimalisasi platform komunikasi digital. Ketiga, tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah resistensi guru, ketimpangan infrastruktur, dan keterbatasan sumber daya, namun diimbangi oleh solusi inovatif dan praktik baik lokal. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis pada pengembangan model kepemimpinan digital berbasis konteks lokal, serta implikasi praktis bagi pengambil kebijakan untuk merancang program peningkatan kapasitas kepala sekolah dalam mengelola perubahan di era digital.

Abstract

AbstractOne of the important assets in a company is customers. Customers determine the company's stability because they are source of income and determine the company's competitiveness. It shows the importance of predicting which customers have the potential to switch to another company. These predictions can be done using Machine Learning (ML). One of ML methods is the Extreme Learning Machine (ELM). The advantages of ELM compared to other methods are fast computing time, ease of use, and can reach a global optimum. However, ELM has weaknesses when solving problems with high-dimensional datasets, so feature selection is required. The Binary Bat Algorithm (BBA) is a swarm intelligence method that can be used to optimize ELM performance. The advantages of BBA compared to other are few parameters and much better in effectiveness or accuracy. This research was carried out with preprocessing data, training data and testing data. The research results showed that ELM-BBA is better than ELM and ELM-Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BPSO) in evaluation metric values. However, ELM-BBA tended to be slower than ELM-BPSO. The best results on evaluation metrics achieved by ELM-BBA were 0.97, 0.97, 0.96, and 0.97 in accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score, respectively.

Abstract

Data mining is a very important process for finding out the data interpretation. Data preprocessing is the crucial data mining steps. The existence of missing values in the data is one of the primary issues with data preprocessing. Generally, this can be overcome with mean or median imputation because they are easy to implement. However, the use of these techniques is not recommended because they ignore the data variance. This research develops the Kernel Fuzzy C-Means Optimized by the Particle Swarm Optimizer with Two Differential Mutations (KFCM-PSOTD).  KFCM imputation is applied to obtain better estimation values due to its proven ability to recognize patterns in the data. In addition, the PSOTD algorithm is used as an optimization tool to boost the KFCM's performance. PSOTD is adopted because it has more balanced exploration and exploitation capabilities compared to classical PSO. Datasets that have been imputed on KFCM-PSOTD are classified using the Decision Tree algorithm. The results are evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and f1 score to determine the quality of the imputed values. The outcomes demonstrate that the KFCM-PSOTD algorithm has a better performance; even the difference in evaluation scores obtained reaches 10% better than other imputation techniques.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Implementation of Islamic Religious Education in tertiary institutions, with the object of research in tertiary institutions under Majlis Atturot Al-islamy Foundation. Qualitative research methods with the type of field research, data collection by interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis with triangulation. The result of this research is that reviving religious culture among lecturers and staff in tertiary institutions can be an important effort to develop positive religious, moral and ethical values in the academic environment. Some of the religious cultures that are built in tertiary institutions are, Ikhlash, responsible, disciplined, and trustworthy in carrying out tasks, appearance, simple and in accordance with Shari'at guidelines, have noble character and can be role models for their students in speaking, behaving and behave, maintain and establish brotherhood between ustadz, prioritize husnudzhon attitudes, improve and develop scientific quality, maintain and implement Islamic law, guard speech, must participate in activities set by the institution, be fair and wise in imposing sanctions on students. obey the leadership and institutional regulations as long as they do not conflict with the Shari'a.The programs that are running are: studying the Koran, weekly studies,  wearing sharia clothes.

Abstract

Pelatihan pembuatan komik digital menggunakan aplikasi Pixton di SMK Al-Ittihad bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan digital dan kreativitas siswa dalam menyampaikan ide dan cerita melalui media visual. Di era teknologi yang terus berkembang, pemanfaatan aplikasi digital dalam pendidikan menjadi semakin penting. Pixton, sebuah aplikasi pembuat komik digital, menawarkan fitur-fitur yang mudah digunakan dan interaktif, sehingga cocok untuk diaplikasikan dalam lingkungan pendidikan. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk memberikan pemahaman dasar tentang komik digital, pengenalan aplikasi Pixton, serta teknik-teknik dasar dalam mendesain komik. Metode Pelatihan meliputi presentasi materi, diskusi interaktif, dan praktik langsung menggunakan Pixton. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari siswa kelas X dan XI SMK. Siswa diberikan kesempatan untuk merancang dan membuat komik digital mereka sendiri. Hasil dari pelatihan siswa bisa menggunakan teknologi untuk tujuan kreatif, mengembangkan keterampilan dalam bercerita secara visual, dan memperkaya metode pembelajaran di SMK Al-Ittihad. Dengan keterampilan baru ini siswa mampu menghasilkan e-komik. Melalui pendampingan ini siswa mampu menghadapi tantangan di era digital dan memiliki alat tambahan untuk mengekspresikan ide-ide mereka secara kreatif.
