Abstract

This study aims to review the literature on the role of digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) in strengthening the sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia for the period 2021–2026. Using a systematic qualitative literature review method, this study synthesizes findings from national and international scientific journals, reports from government institutions, and credible academic sources. The results show that digital adoption—including e-commerce platforms, digital payment systems, and AI-based applications—significantly increases market reach, operational efficiency, and business resilience of MSMEs. AI-based technologies such as machine learning, chatbots, and data analytics have proven capable of reducing operational costs and improving decision-making accuracy. However, low digital literacy, limited capital access, and uneven digital infrastructure remain major barriers. Government support through programs such as Bangga Buatan Indonesia and collaboration with the technology sector are key to accelerating inclusive digital transformation. This study concludes that synergizing digital transformation with AI has the potential to become the main pillar of MSME sustainability in the digital economy era in Indonesia.

Abstract

It is a fact that financial institutions among Asian countries, especially Indonesia, have beendominated by commercial banks. In addition, an insurance market share is only 10 percent ofthe financial market. Yet, the insurance industry is an important partner for the banking industry.This function is to guarantee the risk of banks in distributing credit and supportingthe national economy through the community's fund. This paper evaluates the relative efficiencyof 23 Non Life Insurance companies in Indonesia, using Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) model. DEA is a management evaluation tool that assists in identifying the most efficientand inefficient decision-making units (DMUs) in the best practice frontier. Empiricalresults show that bigger insurance companies are found to be more efficient than smallerfirms. Moreover, companies with captive market and the company's group with non-captivemarket have relatively the same result. These findings are new empirical contributions toefficiency literature of the insurance industry. The paper also provides policy implicationsfor the Indonesian insurance sector.

Abstract

The growing prominence of gender equality and women’s rights in modern society has intensified debates over the interpretation of Islamic law, particularly regarding whether Qur’anic and Prophetic texts should be understood through ḥaqīqah (literal meaning) or majāz (metaphorical meaning) in response to changing social realities. This study aims to analyze the concepts of ḥaqīqah and majāz within Islamic legal theory (uṣūl al-fiqh), examine their application to texts concerning gender and women’s rights, and assess their relevance to the contemporary reformulation of Islamic law. Employing a qualitative library research approach, the study draws on classical and contemporary works on uṣūl al-fiqh, Qur’anic exegesis, hadith studies, and Islamic legal scholarship. The findings demonstrate that ḥaqīqah and majāz constitute complementary interpretive instruments in understanding Islamic legal texts. In particular, metaphorical interpretation can reveal the broader objectives of Islamic law (maqāṣid al-sharīʿah) and support more context-sensitive responses to gender-related issues and women’s rights. Nevertheless, such interpretation must remain grounded in linguistic conventions, textual context, and established principles of Islamic jurisprudence to prevent arbitrary or subjective readings. The study concludes that a methodologically controlled application of ḥaqīqah and majāz can contribute to a more responsive, equitable, and contextually relevant framework of Islamic law. It further contributes to contemporary Islamic legal discourse by clarifying how classical linguistic principles may be employed to reconcile textual authority with evolving demands for gender justice.

Abstract

The eighth century of the Hijri era witnessed the emergence of a prominent scholarly figure in Arabic grammar, namely Imam al-Shāṭibī (may Allah have mercy on him). He was distinguished among the grammarians of his time by his independent approach to grammatical research and the verification of grammatical issues. He authored a work on Arabic grammar and morphology entitled Al-Maqāṣid al-Shāfiyah fī Sharḥ al-Alfiyyah li Ibn Mālik. This study aims to clarify Imam al-Shāṭibī’s critical perspective on the construction of the imperative verb (fiʿl al-amr) and the grammatical ruling of the present tense verb (fiʿl al-muḍāriʿ) when accompanied by the direct emphatic nūn (Nūn al-Tawkīd al-Mubāsyirah) and the feminine nūn (Nūn al-Niswah) by employing the analytical method. The study compares the opinions of scholars regarding these grammatical issues based on classical works of grammar, morphology, linguistics, and rhetoric, while evaluating and giving preference to the strongest opinions. The study finds that scholars have expressed various views on these issues. Imam al-Shāṭibī maintained that the imperative verb is built on sukūn (quiescence) unless it is a defective verb (muʿtall), presenting both criticism and refutation of the numerous opposing opinions. The study concludes that his view is the strongest because of the soundness of its evidence and its ability to withstand counterarguments.

Abstract

Abstract. Fish meal, corn, and gacor5000 rice bran are feed ingredient which easily obtained. Different of quality and amount of each ingredients in fish feed result a various respons on fish. The aim of this study were to determine respon of growth and feed consumption of walking cat fish (Clarias sp.) which fed feed made of fish meal, rice bran, and corn. The experimental diets containing fish meal, corn meal, and rice bran meal, respectively A. 70;10:19,5.; B. 60;25;14,5 C=60,19,75:19,75; D=60:9,5:30, and the other diets, E and F, were commersial diets. Daily growth rate, feed consumption, feed eficiency, and feed conversion ratio showed significant differences (p0,05) among the treatments. In general, feed consumption rate, daily growth rate, feed efficiency, and feed conversion rate were best obtained on commercial feed, while feed made from local ingredients showed lower performance than commercial feed. The low quality of feed local ingredients were caused by used low quality of local ingredients which caused the level minimum of fibre and ash were high in 17,9% and 23,5%, respectively. The utilization of Local fish meal 60-70%, corn meal 9,5-19,75%, and rice bran meal 14,5-30% in fish diet did not result better growth performance than commercial diet, however the best formulation for local ingredients of fish meal, corn meal, rice bran meal were 60%; 19,75%; 19,75% and 60%; 9,5%;30 % respectively Keywords : Corn meal; diets; feed consumption; fish meal; growth; rice bran; walking catfish (Clarias sp.)Abstrak. Tepung ikan, jagung dan dedak padi adalah merupakan bahan baku yang mudah diperoleh dan dapat digunakan sebagai bahan baku pakan ikan, meskipun demikian perbedaan kualitas setiap jenis bahan baku dan jumlah pengggunaan setiap bahan baku dalam pakan dapat menghasilkan respon yang berbeda terhadap ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan konsumsi pakan ikan lele (Clarias sp.) yang diberikan pakan berbahan tepung ikan, tepung dedak padi, dan tepung jagung. Pakan uji yang dicobakan adalah pakan dengan komposisi tepung ikan: tepung jagung, dan: tepung dedak yang berbeda yaitu masing-masing A=70:10:19,5; B=60:25:14,5; C=60:19,75:19,75; D=60:9,5:30, serta dua pakan komersial yaitu E dan F Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pakan dengan komposisi bahan baku yang berbeda berpengaruh (p0,05) terhadap laju pertumbuhan harian, tingkat konsumsi pakan, efisiensi pakan dan rasio konversi pakan. Tingkat konsumsi pakan, laju pertumbuhan harian, efisiensi pakan dan rasio konversi pakan yang terbaik diperoleh pada pakan komersial sedangkan pakan yang berbahan baku lokal menunjukkan tampilan yang lebih rendah dibandingkan pakan komersial. Rendahnya kualitas pakan berbahan baku lokal diduga disebabkan oleh bahan baku lokal yang digunakan memiliki kualitas yang rendah sehingga menghasilkan pakan dengan kandungan serat kasar dan abu yang tinggi masing-masing minimal 17,9% dan 23,5%. Penggunaan bahan baku local yaitu tepung ikan 60-70%, tepung jagung 9,5-19,75% dan dedak 14,5 30% belum dapat menghasilkan tampilan pertumbuhan yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pakan komersial, meskipun demikian formulasi terbaik pakan berbahan baku lokal diperolah pada komposisi tepung ikan; jagung; dedak adalah 60%; 19,75%; 19,75% dan 60%; 9,5%;30 %.Kata kunci : Ikan lele (Clarias sp.); konsumsi pakan; pakan; pertumbuhan; tepung dedak; tepung ikan; tepung jagung

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of photosynthetic bacterial fertilizer and the pull-push cultivation technique on corn. The research was conducted in Banjaran Village, Purbalingga Regency. The experimental design used was a completely randomized block design. The treatments for photosynthetic bacteria included S0 (control), S1 (50 mL/2L), and S2 (100 mL/2L), as well as the pull-push system treatments P0 (control), P1 (lemongrass), and P2 (groundnut). Each treatment was replicated three times and analyzed using ANOVA. Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) (α=5%) was employed for significantly different results. The observed variables were plant height, number of leaves, dry root weight, dry plant weight, and total chlorophyll. The results indicated that the application of photosynthetic bacterial fertilizer increased plant height but did not affect the number of leaves. The pull-push cultivation technique showed significance in the lemongrass treatment and total chlorophyll, while no interaction was observed between the two applied treatments.

Abstract

Conventional heating methods remain prevalent among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for aluminum mold thermal regulation during resin-coated sand (RCS) core production. Inconsistent thermal regulation significantly alters the characteristics of resin-coated sand cores. This study aims to investigate the effect of curing parameters on the compressive strength and toughness of the resin-coated sand. The RCS specimens were prepared using an aluminum mold that underwent controlled thermal treatment in an electrical furnace. The thermal treatment is performed by processing specimens across a curing temperature range of 200-300°C and varying curing time from 3 to 15 minutes. HDPE polymer was proposed as the RCS binder. Compressive and impact tests were carried out to determine the characteristics of resin-coated sand. The results showed a non-linear relationship between curing parameters and mechanical properties. Although moderate curing time and higher temperatures initially improve compressive strength and toughness, exceeding optimal thresholds leads to the degradation of these mechanical characteristics. The highest mechanical properties (compressive strength = 38.4 MPa, toughness = 0.43 MPa) are achieved through a curing temperature of 250°C and a curing time of 9 minutes. This study provides valuable insights into determining the optimal parameters for processing resin-coated sand cores or molds with superior compressive and toughness properties.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bertema budidaya tanaman sayur secara hidroponik dilakukan di Desa Kuala Muda, Penaga, Pulau Penang, Malaysia, untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan warga setempat. Latar belakang kegiatan ini didasari oleh kebutuhan masyarakat akan makanan sehat dan optimalisasi pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan rumah. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan wawasan tentang hidroponik dan meningkatkan keterampilan dalam budidaya sayuran. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, diskusi interaktif, dan praktik lapangan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman warga tentang pentingnya sayuran bebas pestisida dan keterampilan dalam budidaya hidroponik. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat melalui penyediaan makanan sehat.
