Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of scientific literacy-based e-comic media in improving students' learning outcomes related to the topic of single substances and mixtures. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach was employed, where the same group of 25 students from class VA at SDN Sampangan 02 and class VB at SD Lab School UNNES were tested before and after using the e-comic media. The e-comic was designed to engage students and enhance their understanding of scientific concepts through interactive narratives and visual illustrations.The study found that the use of e-comic media significantly improved students' learning outcomes, as indicated by the results of a paired t-test (t = 9.766, p < 0.05) and N-gain analysis, which showed a medium level of improvement (N-gain = 0.584). Teacher and student responses were overwhelmingly positive, with 93% and 95% satisfaction rates, respectively. This suggests that e-comic media is an effective tool for improving students' scientific literacy and understanding of the material. The findings support the use of digital media in science education, particularly for engaging students in complex scientific concepts.

Abstract

The most prominent problem in learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) is the less-than-optimal use of learning media, which affects students' learning outcomes. This development research aims to develop Sparkol Videoscribe media on IPAS on human needs material. This type of research is development research. This research applies the ADDIE development model. The research subjects are 1 learning media expert and 1 learning material expert. The subjects of this development research trial are 18 students and grade IV teachers. Data collection techniques are done through interviews, observations, tests, questionnaires and documentation. The data collection instrument uses questions to test the feasibility of the Sparkol videoscribe media. The techniques used to analyze the data are qualitative, quantitative, descriptive analysis, and inferential statistics. The study results showed that Sparkol videoscribe is feasible to use, based on the assessment of media experts by 95.8% and material experts by 90% with very feasible criteria. The media developed is practical based on the t-test and n-gain test with moderate criteria. It is concluded that the Sparkol videoscribe learning media that has been developed is feasible and effective to use in IPAS learning because it can improve students' learning outcomes. The implications of the research are that the Sparkol Videoscribe media developed for science subjects can be used in learning.

Abstract

Abstract This research describes the increasing professionalism of teachers through an analysis of the role of educational supervision in the era of Digital 5.0. Using qualitative methods and literature analysis, this research highlights the contribution of educational supervision to improving the quality of teaching in the context of technological advancements and digital transformation. The results show that educational supervision has a significant impact on increasing teacher professionalism, especially in adapting teaching methods to suit technological developments. The role of the school principal is considered crucial in this process, because, in the Digital 5.0 era, an effective school principal must also have a deep understanding of the integration of technology in learning. As effective consultants, school principals can provide meaningful support for teachers in dealing with technology issues and provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of their teaching in the Digital 5.0 era. Overall, this research confirms that educational supervision, when carried out well and supported by good leadership, can be a powerful instrument in raising standards of professionalism in the rapidly changing educational environment in the Digital 5.0 era. Abstrak Penelitian ini menggambarkan peningkatan profesionalisme guru melalui analisis peran supervisi pendidikan di era digital 5.0. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan analisis literatur, penelitian ini menyoroti kontribusi supervisi pendidikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas pengajaran dalam konteks teknologi dan transformasi digital. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa supervisi pendidikan memiliki dampak yang signifikan pada peningkatan profesionalisme guru, terutama dalam mengadaptasi metode pengajaran yang sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi. Peran kepala sekolah dianggap krusial dalam proses ini, karena dalam era digital 5.0, kepala sekolah yang efektif juga harus memiliki pemahaman yang mendalam tentang integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Sebagai konsultan yang efektif, kepala sekolah dapat memberikan dukungan yang berarti bagi guru dalam menangani masalah teknologi dan memberikan umpan balik yang konstruktif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran mereka di era digital 5.0. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa supervisi pendidikan, ketika dilakukan dengan baik dan didukung oleh kepemimpinan yang baik, dapat menjadi instrumen yang kuat dalam meningkatkan standar profesionalisme di lingkungan pendidikan yang terus berubah dengan cepat dalam era digital 5.0.

Abstract

This research explores the application of Break-Even-Point (BEP) analysis in setting financial strategies for small businesses, specifically the Bapilin Dua Saudara cake business. Using the Cost-Volume-Profit (CVP) approach, this study aims to determine the break-even point as well as the profit target that can be achieved through optimizing production volume, managing costs, and setting selling prices. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies to ensure a comprehensive analysis. The results show that the utilization of BEP analysis allows entrepreneurs to understand the interrelationship between cost and revenue elements, so that they can design production strategies that are efficient and adaptive to market dynamics. This research confirms the importance of BEP-based financial analysis as a strategic profit planning tool to support small business sustainability and growth.

Abstract

In the digital age, educational challenges include the integration of technology by teachers to meet the diverse needs of students. Many teachers still find it difficult to update their knowledge and skills as technology evolves. This hinders the achievement of the desired independent learning. The study aims to identify progress in the learning achievement of grade IV-B students through the application of a differentiated learning approach using augmented reality-based edu assemblr media in science subjects at SDN Gisikdrono 02 Semarang City. This study uses a classroom action research approach consisting of two cycles with four stages, namely: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, 4) reflection. The subjects of this study were 27 students of grade IV-B of SD Negeri Gisikdrono 02. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The results showed that the use of Assemblr Edu media based on Augmented Reality improved student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the acquisition of teacher activity scores in cycle I, which was 78.06 (sufficient) increased to 83.23 (Good) in cycle II. The learning outcomes of grade IV-B students on culturally rich Indonesian material have increased after using augmented reality-based edu assemblr media. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes in cycle I, namely 63% (less) to 85.2% (good) in cycle II

Abstract

The introduction of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) concepts should be conducted through problem-based and simple game-based methods to engage students effectively. However, field observations reveal that teachers often employ complex teaching methods accompanied by heavy assignments, causing students to struggle in comprehensively understanding IPAS concepts. This study aims to develop and analyze the effectiveness of HeatnBomb Bingo media for IPAS learning in fifth-grade elementary students. The research method used is Research and Development, with fifth-grade students as the subjects. Data analysis techniques include the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for normality, paired sample t-test to compare pre-test and post-test results, and N-Gain test to measure learning improvement. Media validation by experts indicates that HeatnBomb Bingo is highly valid, with a score of 85.93%. The paired sample t-test shows a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant impact of using HeatnBomb Bingo on students' learning outcomes. The N-Gain test result of 0.5997 reflects a 59.97% improvement in learning outcomes. Thus, HeatnBomb Bingo is valid and effective for IPAS learning. The media fosters active student participation by engaging them in discussions and problem-solving activities, enhancing their conceptual understanding in a more profound and enjoyable way.

Abstract

The problem faced by private schools is that teachers' ability to plan and differentiate learning is not optimal. The purpose of this community service activity is to optimize the role of teachers in designing initial assessments as a support for differentiated learning planning to serve students' learning needs in the classroom. The solution offered to solve partner problems is socialization and assistance in compiling initial assessments as a basis for creating differentiated learning; differentiated learning assistance. The four stages of implementing this community service activity include adopting organizational learning (OL). The four main stages are socializing, externalizing, combining, and internalizing. This community service activity involved three students. The results of the community service activities carried out in May-September 2024 exceeded the target output, which showed that teachers' knowledge of differentiated learning after socialization reached an average of 81.06 and was categorized as good at 69.7%. The FGD results showed that the implementation of the activities showed that the principal and teachers could prepare, implement, or support differentiated learning well.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyediakan bahan ajar muatan pelajaran IPAS yang menggunakan Model Sistem Pernapasan Manusia (MOSIMPER) dan menekankan pada sistem pernapasan manusia pada siswa kelas V SD. Dengan tahapan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi, model ADDIE merupakan metodologi RD yang digunakan pada penelitian ini. Temuan validasi ahli materi mencapai 90,625%, sedangkan hasil validasi ahli media mencapai 91,6%. Hasil pengembangan media pembelajaran memenuhi standar penilaian validasi ahli dan dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran dengan kriteria “sangat layak”. Hasil uji- T menghasilkan nilai t-hitung 11,342 dari t-tabel 1,692363 memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dan untuk melihat peningkatan rata-rata menggunakan uji n-gain didapatkan hasil 0,42 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Model Sistem Pernapasan Manusia (MOSIMPER) memiliki tingkat kelayakan yang tinggi dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui apakah melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan media gambar pada mata pelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan minat belajar pada siswa kelas III SDN Bromantakan 56 Surakarta. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN Bromantakan 56 Surakarta sebanyak 26 siswa yang terdiri dari 10 siswa perempuan dan 16 siswa laki-laki. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dimana pelaksanaan tindakan terdiri dari Siklus I dan Siklus II dengan 4 tahapan yaitu, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, refleksi. Proses pengambilan data yang dilakukan menggunakan lembar observasi, angket, dan tes evaluasi. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan peningkatan minat belajar siswa dapat dilihat pada siklus I peningkatan minat belajar pada aktivitas belajar siswa yang presentase awalnya hanya 52,90% dapat meningkat menjadi 78,75%. Sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 89,81% dengan kategori baik. Data tersebut diperkuat dengan hasil perolehan angket minat belajar siswa pada siklus I dengan presentase sebesar 68,79%, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 86,24% dengan kategori baik. Meningkatnya minat belajar pada siswa berpengaruh pula pada hasil belajar siswa. Presentase siswa yang tuntas pada kondisi awal adalah 53,85%. Pada siklus I naik menjadi 69,24% lalu mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 88,46% dengan perolehan kategori baik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development process of augmented reality media on climate change and global warming created by the researcher, evaluate the assessment results by experts on the augmented reality climate change media, and analyze students' prior knowledge of climate change and global warming material. The research was conducted using a descriptive quantitative method with data analysis supported by SPSS software. The augmented reality media on climate change was developed through the Assemblr Studio web platform, covering topics such as global warming, the greenhouse effect, ENSO, La Niña, El Niño, and the neutral phase. The findings indicated that the media development procedure was analyzed using guidelines, both for developing the media and for its use. Furthermore, the analysis of students' prior knowledge in understanding climate change and global warming material showed satisfactory results. The impact of AR media on climate change and global warming materials includes the ability to enhance global awareness, increase scientific knowledge and environmental care attitudes, as well as foster proactive actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that cause global warming and lead to climate change. Future research is needed to analyze students' literacy understanding after the implementation of the augmented reality climate change media.
