Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the culinary sector face increasingly intense competition, requiring the implementation of adaptive and innovative marketing strategies. One important aspect influencing consumers’ buying interest is product packaging design. Corner MT, a culinary MSME that has been operating for more than a decade, still uses a packaging design that has undergone minimal changes, which may reduce product attractiveness amid changing consumer preferences. This study aims to analyse the process of product packaging redesign at Corner MT and its implications for increasing consumers’ buying interest. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews with the owner and employees, consumer questionnaires, and documentation. The packaging redesign process was carried out using a design thinking approach consisting of problem identification, problem analysis, idea or concept development, evaluation, and implementation stages. The results indicate that redesigning the packaging from brown kraft paper to kingstruk-based packaging, combined with the use of bright colors, illustrative visual elements, readable typography, and additional business information, enhances visual appeal and forms a better perception of product quality. Consumer responses show that the new packaging is perceived as more modern, attractive, and functional, thereby encouraging higher buying interest. Therefore, packaging redesign based on the design thinking approach proves to be an effective strategy for culinary MSMEs to enhance product competitiveness.

Abstract

Awal masa kehidupan anak dengan kelekatan memanfaatkan pengasuh utama atau orang tua khususnya ibu sebagai tempat aman untuk mengenali lingkungannya. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengetahui pengaruh kelekatan anak pada ibu bekerja terhadap regulasi emosi anak usia 4-5 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitaif dengan pendekatan ex poxt facto. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan jumlah sampel 226 anak usia 4-5 Tahun Di Kabupaten Karanganyar. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket penelitian berupa kuesioner tertutup. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t, uji-F, dan uji koefisien determinasi atau R². Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara kelekatan ibu bekerja dengan regulasi emosi anak usia 4-5 tahun sebesar 35,8%. Temuan ini memberikan informasi penting bagi ibu khususnya ibu pekerja untuk meningkatkan kelekatan dengan anak dan melatih interaksi positif untuk mendukung perkembangan regulasi emosi anak. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ibu yang bekerja juga bisa mengondisikan emosi anak dengan memberikan perhatian, dibantu oleh ayah dan anggota keluarga lainnya.

Abstract

Community Service is a routine activity carried out by lecturers of Higher Education in order to carry out the obligations of the Tridharma of Higher Education. Lecturers have an obligation to carry out the obligation to share knowledge and skills they have with the wider community who need help. One of the partners who needs support is Al Qomar School which currently has problems in the information system in the digital learning process. This often causes errors in the digital learning process. In addition, the partner also does not have a website application that can be used to display the school's digital learning that makes it easier for teachers to access digital learning quickly and efficiently. Based on this, this community service aims to provide Moodle-Based E-Learning Application Training for the Development and Improvement of Digital Learning Media at Al Qomar School that can be used by partners to improve learning performance better. The activity was carried out face-to-face at the Al Qomar School Hall, Jalan Kamal Raya No. 1 Kalideres, West Jakarta. The target output to be achieved in this activity is the publication of this training activity in national-scale electronic or print media. Improving the ability of the e-learning system aims to provide effective solutions in increasing learning flexibility, accommodating diverse learning styles, and facilitating learning accessibility. E-learning development using the Moodle platform, 100% of teachers are able to design learning with creative and innovative content

Abstract

The flash flood disaster in Maipi, Masamba, North Luwu Regency occurred on July 13, 2020, has caused various problems. The community's unpreparedness in dealing with flash floods disasters creates psychological stress (traumatic) as well as social and economic impacts. This community service aimed to assist the community in increasing their knowledge, abilities, and independence in facing and overcoming disaster problems after flash floods. The method used is by conducting disaster mitigation training and agricultural extension agents. The benchmarks for the success of this activity are, first, increasing knowledge about disasters and ways of dealing with them in community groups. Second, the increased capacity of community groups regarding the optimization of land damaged by flash floods as a forum for the community to produce vegetables with economic value.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kreativitas mahasiswa melalui pelatihan pembuatan lilin aromaterapi. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah semakin tingginya minat masyarakat terhadap lilin aromaterapi, baik sebagai sarana relaksasi maupun sebagai peluang usaha kreatif dengan nilai ekonomi yang menjanjikan. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama satu hari di salah satu rumah kost peserta dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, praktik, dan presentasi hasil karya. Peserta yang terlibat adalah mahasiswa Program Business English Communication kelas A yang berjumlah lima orang. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta mengenai bahan, teknik pencampuran, penambahan aroma, hingga pengemasan lilin aromaterapi. Selain itu, peserta mampu menghasilkan karya lilin aromaterapi dengan variasi aroma dan desain yang berbeda, sehingga menumbuhkan kreativitas, rasa percaya diri, serta wawasan kewirausahaan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berhasil menjadi sarana pemberdayaan yang tidak hanya memberikan keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga membuka peluang usaha baru bagi mahasiswa.

Abstract

Anxiety disorders have surged post-COVID-19 in urban Indonesia, with daily stress, low social support, and negative thought patterns exacerbating symptoms among young adults, impairing daily functioning and academic performance. This study aimed to empirically analyze anxiety characteristics and Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT) application as contextual intervention using Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI). Employing a quantitative descriptive approach, purposive sampling recruited 150 young adults (18-35 years) in urban areas; data were analyzed via SPSS descriptive statistics and Spearman correlations. Results revealed stress contributing 42% to anxiety variance, low support elevating risk 2.5-fold, and negative thinking 28% via rumination (r = -0.559, p < 0.05). Conclusions emphasize CBT's 60% symptom reduction efficacy, advocating multidisciplinary policy integration for prevention.

Abstract

Gizi merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang berperan dalam menunjang perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini. Perkembangan kognitif pada masa ini menjadi dasar bagi kemampuan berpikir, belajar, dan pemecahan masalah di tahap kehidupan selanjutnya. Kurangnya pemenuhan gizi yang seimbang dapat berdampak negatif terhadap fungsi otak dan kemampuan kognitif anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh gizi terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini melalui studi literatur. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menelaah berbagai sumber ilmiah berupa jurnal nasional dan internasional, buku, serta laporan penelitian yang relevan dan diterbitkan dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa asupan gizi yang adekuat, terutama protein, zat besi, asam lemak esensial, dan mikronutrien, memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini. Peran orang tua dan lingkungan dalam pemenuhan gizi juga berpengaruh terhadap optimalisasi perkembangan kognitif anak.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Islamic financial literacy and customer trust on the interest in using Islamic fintech in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). This study was conducted to fill the gap in previous studies, which mostly focused on the interest in using digital services without examining actual financial behavior, such as saving in Islamic banks. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 122 respondents selected purposively. Data were collected through a Likert scale-based questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression after classical assumption tests were conducted to ensure the model's feasibility. The results show that Islamic financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on interest in using Islamic fintech, while customer trust also strengthens interest in usage, although its contribution is smaller. Simultaneously, both variables are able to explain 73.2% of the variation in respondents' interest in Islamic fintech services. These findings emphasize the importance of improving Islamic financial education and strengthening public trust in Islamic-based digital financial institutions as a strategy to expand financial inclusion in the digital era. This study also provides direction for the development of Islamic fintech products and marketing strategies that are relevant to the characteristics of the younger generation as the dominant users.

Abstract

Increasingly integrated global developments require every individual to possess global competencies, including prospective elementary school teachers who must be able to educate students to become knowledgeable, tolerant, and responsible global citizens who are able to adapt to globalization. However, various studies indicate that the global competency of university students in Indonesia is still relatively low. This study aims to describe the actual condition of global competencyamong elementary school teacher education students. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with elementary school teacher education students as respondents. The research instrument includes three main components of global competency: knowledge, skills, and attitudes/values, which are developed based on four dimensions of global competence. However, in this article, the focus is only on discussing the knowledge component of the global competency of elementary school teacher education students. The results of the study indicate that the knowledge component of the global competency of students still tends to be low. These findings indicate the need for learning innovation, whether in the form of developing learning models or using media and other things that can improve the knowledge component, among elementary school teacher education students in facing global challenges
