Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran project based learning efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimen) dengan bentuk desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX yang berjumlah 40 siswa sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sampling jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol dengan nilai sig. (2 tailed) sebesar 0,000. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Project Based Learning Efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IX di SMP Negeri 5 Dayun.

This paper is indicated by Business Economics students’ low learning motivation at class X OTKP of SMK Telkom Pekanbaru. This paper analyzes the differences in students’ learning motivation through the application of Team Game Tournament (TGT) as a cooperative learning model. This paper uses experimental research with the pre-experimental or quasi-experimental with the One-group pretest and posttest research design. The research was conducted at Telkom Vocational School Pekanbaru for students at class X of Office Administration who took Business Economics as an Experiment class. Data were collected through questionnaires and observation sheets. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics through the N-gain test and paired sample t-test. The results indicate that the average student’s learning motivation was higher than the average student’s learning motivation before the application of the Team Game Tournament (TGT) learning model. It is proven from the results of the N-Gain test and Paired Sample T-Test that there are significant differences in students’ learning motivation after and before applying the model. Thus, one of the methods that can be applied by the teacher to increase students’ learning motivation is to apply the Team Game Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model.

The quality of human resources should improve and become more competitive as education levels rise. A high level of education is essential to developing high-caliber labor. In contrast to other nations, Indonesia's participation rate for students who continue their education in tertiary institutions is still low. This research is motivated by the lack of interest of students to continue their education to tertiary institutions. This study aims to determine the effect of parents' socio-economic conditions on students' interest in continuing their education to tertiary education in class XI students of SMK Telkom Pekanbaru. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study were 206 students. The research sample used a simple random sampling technique of 67 students. This research data collection method using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that there was a positive and significant influence on the socio-economic conditions of parents on students' interest in continuing their education to tertiary institutions in class XI students of SMK Telkom Pekanbaru.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk media pembelajaran yang relevan dengan kondisi SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. Penelitian menggunakan model 4D yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan. Subjek penelitian adalah respon siswa kelas XII IPS, hasil validasi ahli media, dan ahli materi. Objek penelitian adalah media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android. Proses perancangan dan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis android melalui proses wawancara dengan guru dan siswa, identifikasi perangkat pembelajaran serta penyusunan prototype melibatkan 2 validator ahli materi dan 3 validator ahli media. Hasil validasi ahli media dan ahli materi menunjukkan hasil sebesar 89,31% dan 95% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil uij coba pada siswa menunjukkan media pembelajaran android AJP perusahaan jasa 1.1_0 Apk berada pada kategori “sangat layak” sebesar 86%. Proses desain dan pengembangan menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis android sesuai kondisi siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis 1) pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap optimisme guru SMA Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir? 2) pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap optimisme guru SMA Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir? 3) pengaruh budaya organisasi dan lingkungan kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap optimisme guru SMA Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir? Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah jenis penelitian explanatory. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah berjumlah 121 orang dan sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 93 Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian adalah dengan menggunakan teknik Kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Pengolahan data untuk analisis statistik deskriptif dalam penelitian ini menggunakan program Microsoft Excel dan SPSS versi 23 for Windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Diperoleh pengaruh yang signifikan antara budaya organisasi (X1) terhadap optimisme guru (Y) SMA Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir, (2) Diperoleh pengaruh yang signifikan antara lingkungan kerja (X2) terhadap optimisme guru (Y) SMA Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir,dan (3) pengaruh yang signifikan antara budaya organisasi (X1) dan lingkungan kerja (X2) secara bersama-sama terhadap optimisme guru (Y) SMA Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran ekonomi berbasis Articulate Storyline 3 dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi manajemen SMA kelas X. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Developmen) menggunakan model ADDIE. Data diperoleh berdasarkan angket validasi ahli materi dan media, angket motivasi belajar, kuesioner respon peserta didik. Subjek uji coba yaitu 27 orang peserta didik kelas X IPS 1 di SMA Negeri 1 Kuantan Hilir. Hasil uji validasi materi diperoleh persentase 95% dengan kriteria sangat valid sedangkan uji validasi media diperoleh persentase 93% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Hasil efektifitas penggunaan media pembelajaran menggunakan uji t diperoleh kesimpulan media pembelajaran ekonomi berbasis Articulate Storyline 3 efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dikarenakan thitung 0,014 < 0,005 tabel. Hasil praktis penggunaan media pembelajaran diperoleh persentase 92,72% kriteria sangat praktis.Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran ekonomi berbasis Articulate Storyline 3 telah valid, praktis dan efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

This study aimed to develop android-based learning media to help economics lessons, especially in national income materials for Class XI students of the Department of Social Sciences at the senior high school level. The research method used was research and development (RD), with the ADDIE model. The media was then implemented in class XI students, with a total of 20 students. The research sample was selected purposively with consideration of the material in the media and the ease of research. Media demands, student profiles, and the learning environment were observed and interviewed for study. The media was planned and developed using Articulate Storyline 3, validated by 3 media and 2 material specialists (Expert Judgement), and analysed qualitatively. Student and instructor responses to questions on media practicality and usefulness were quantified. The entire ADDIE circuit was evaluated at each stage. The results of the analize stage prove that students and teachers need support media for material related to economic statistics. The design and development of media was carried out by researchers by providing several advantages including simple and interesting, interactive media that can be used in offline and online modes. Its excellence gained the recognition of eligibility from validators. Student response at the limited trial and implementation stage showed the media had a practicality level which is high and very useful. In fact, economics teachers at both schools gave a perfect assessment (maximum score) for all indicators of the teacher response questionnaire statement. It can be concluded that the media was needed by students and teachers based on economic statistics. The media was designed and developed with advantages based on needs analysis. The media was valid and should be implemented.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the readiness of students to become prospective teachers and the factors that influence it. This study used a mixed method technique. The subjects of this study were all students of the Economics Education Study Program FKIP University of Riau, academic year of 2017 with a total of 78 people. Data collection methods were questionnaires and interviews. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis technique. The results showed that students of the Economics Education Study Program, FKIP, University of Riau were not ready to become prospective professional teachers. The readiness of students in pedagogic competence is in the quite ready category. Meanwhile, in term of professional competence, students of the Economics Education Study Program FKIP University of Riau were not ready to become prospective professional teachers. Judging from the factors that influence student readiness, all factors, both internal and external, greatly influence student readiness, except for physical conditions.

The purpose of this study was to discover how the stages of principal’s supervision improved teacher performance at SD Negeri 245 Palembang. The qualitative technique was employed with observation, interviews, and documentation as tools. Miles and Huberman's theory was used to examine the data. The results revealed that (1) the supervision program is prepared and implemented at the start of each school year, and (2) supervision assessment is carried out at the conclusion of each semester by notifying instructors personally and in groups. This study has received little attention since it investigates supervision in depth in order to improve teacher effectiveness in primary schools. This study is designed to benefit school principals by enhancing performance connected with principal’s supervision.
