Abstract

Desa Sokkolia memiliki potensi alam berupa tanaman kelor (Moringa oleifera) yang bisa dijumpai di pekarangan rumah masyarakat setempat. Namun pemanfaatan darun kelor dari masyarakat di Desa Sokkolia belum terlalu optimal. Selain itu, masih banyak masyarakat setempat yang belum mengetahui bahwa daun kelor kaya akan nutrisi yang dapat diolah menjadi bahan makanan alternatif. Pemanfaatan daun kelor hanya sebatas dikonsumsi yang dijadikan sayur bening. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan PkM ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemanfaatan daun kelor di Desa Sokkolia melalui edukasi, inovasi pengolahan, dan pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat. Sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang manfaat daun kelor, mengembangkan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah daun kelor, meningkatkan nutrisi masyarakat melalui konsumsi produk olahan daun kelor. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan metode praktik langsung atau demonstrasi dimana masyarakat didampingi oleh tim PkM dalam pembuatan produk daun kelor (puding kelor, martabak mie kelor, dan omelet kelor). Hasil dari kegiatan PkM ini menghasilkan produk olahan kelor berupa puding kelor, martabak mie kelor, dan omelet kelor memberikan manfaat yang sangat baik untuk peserta. Melalui pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat membantu masyarakat Desa Sokkolia dapat memanfaatkan dengan optimal pengolahan daun kelor menjadi produk olahan yang kaya akan gizi dan tetap disukai oleh anak-anak agar dapat mencegah stunting.

Abstract

The use of digital technology based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) is now opening up significant opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of learning. With the support of AI, teachers can create engaging, high-quality, and easy-to-understand learning media in a shorter time compared to using conventional digital tools. One AI-based application with great potential in educational media development is GAMMA. This application enables users to create visual media supported by well-structured, detailed, and informative content points. However, knowledge about GAMMA among teachers, particularly teachers in Barru Regency, is still limited. Therefore, this community service program aims to strengthen the capacity of teachers in developing AI-based instructional media. The program was carried out in three main stages: (1) presentation of materials on AI technology and the GAMMA application, (2) hands-on practice in developing instructional media using GAMMA, and (3) a discussion session to reflect on outcomes and challenges. Based on the evaluation results obtained through a questionnaire, the program successfully increased teachers’ knowledge and skills in using the GAMMA application to support more engaging and effective learning processes. In the future, teachers are expected to be better prepared to meet the challenges of 21st-century education.

Abstract

Optimizing student competence begins with empowering fundamental skills, namely critical and creative thinking skills. This study aims to investigate the correlation between critical thinking skills and creative thinking skills simultaneously on cognitive learning outcomes of 162 students in grades XI and XII who have learned cell and tissue material at the Movement School in Biringkanaya District, Makassar City in the even school year 2022/2023. Research data were collected using integrated essay questions as many as 10 items that were valid (4.73) and reliable (0.853). The data obtained from the research sample in the form of quantitative data will be analyzed with two kinds of analysis techniques, namely descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of statistical inferential analysis showed a correlation between critical thinking skills, creative thinking skills, and cognitive learning outcomes of students in movement schools on cell and tissue material (=0.730, <0.001, N= 162). The correlation is positive with a regression equation Ŷ= 7.796 + 0.322X1 + 0.402X2 with an effective contribution of 53.26%. Therefore, learning needs to empowering critical and creative thinking skills to support the optimization of students in facing the challenges of everyday life problem.

Abstract

Desa Sokkolia di Kabupaten Gowa memiliki potensi besar dalam sektor pertanian, khususnya budidaya singkong. Namun, pemanfaatan singkong oleh masyarakat masih terbatas pada konsumsi langsung dan olahan sederhana yang kurang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendorong diversifikasi pengolahan singkong menjadi berbagai produk bernilai jual tinggi guna meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat desa. Melalui pendekatan pemberdayaan masyarakat, kegiatan ini mencakup pelatihan keterampilan pengolahan singkong menjadi produk seperti es krim tape singkong, cassava ball, colenak, serta olahan minuman probiotik. Selain itu, pelatihan juga dilengkapi dengan manajemen usaha sederhana dan strategi pemasaran produk. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam menciptakan produk unggulan berbasis potensi lokal, membuka peluang usaha baru, serta mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan di Desa Sokkolia.

Abstract

This research is important to carry out to provide information, knowledge, and understanding regarding adolescent reproductive health topics. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes about reproductive health and early marriage among teenagers in Gowa Regency High School. The population of this study was all class XI at SMA Gowa Regency. The sampling technique was carried out using the simple random sampling technique. This type of research is descriptive correlational research which aims to determine whether there is a relationship between variables. This research design uses a cross-sectional study design. The research instruments used were tests and questionnaires, data collection techniques in multiple-choice questions to measure reproductive health knowledge, and a questionnaire that refers to Likert scale parameters to measure attitudes towards reproductive health and early marriage. This research data analysis technique uses descriptive and inferential data analysis techniques. There is a relationship between knowledge and Reproductive health attitudes and early marriage are significant with a correlation value (R) between variables was 0.789 which is included in the strong correlation category.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the differences in critical thinking skills and argumentation skills through the application of argument driven inquiry and discovery learning models in biotechnology material. The research method is a quasi-experiment with a quantitative approach using a pretest posttest control group design. The research population was all class X MIA consisting of 3 classes. The research samples were X MIA 2 as experimental class 1 and X MIA 1 as experimental class 2 selected using random sampling techniques. Data collection used critical thinking skills test instruments and argumentation skills tests in the form of 10 essay questions. The posttest t-test results for critical thinking skills obtained a value of 0.01, which is smaller than 0.05, thus showing that there are differences in critical thinking skills in classes that use argument driven inquiry and discovery learning models on biotechnology material. The results of the t-test posttest on argumentation skills obtained a value of 0.00, which is smaller than 0.05, thus indicating that there are differences in argumentation skills in classes that use argument driven inquiry and discovery learning models.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepratikasan media pembelajaran e-Atlas preparat fotografi anatomi tumbuhan monokotil familia Poaceae. Model pengembangan penelitian ini yaitu ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Biologi Jurusan Biologi FMIPA UNM dengan subjek penelitian yaitu 3 dosen pengampu mata kuliah anatomi tumbuhan dan 33 mahasiswa mahasiswa jurusan biologi jenjang strata satu (S1) yang telah memprogram mata kuliah anatomi tumbuhan. Pengembangan produk diawali dengan membuat preparat melalui metode section parafin dan preparat segar kemudian mengembangan desain e-Atlas dengan menggunakan aplikasi canva, dan dikembangkan menjadi media elektronik menggunakan flipbook. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa angket respon dosen pengampu mata kuliah anatomi tumbuhan dan angket respon mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan media pembelajaran e-Atlas preparat fotografi anatomi tumbuhan monokotil familia Poaceae memenuhi kriteria praktis berdasarkan hasil respon dosen pengampu mata kuliah anatomi tumbuhan yaitu 91,32% dan respon mahasiswa 91,97%, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa e-Atlas bersifat sangat praktis dengan memberikan respon positif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran e-Atlas preparat fotografi anatomi tumbuhan monokotil familia Poaceae telah memenuhi kriteria praktis

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi keterampilan public speaking dalam aktivitas sosial-keagamaan remaja masjid, menganalisis keterkaitan antara intensitas latihan public speaking dengan keterlibatan mereka dalam kegiatan masjid, serta menilai kepuasan peserta terhadap program pelatihan yang telah diikuti. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan dukungan data kualitatif melalui observasi dan wawancara. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 20 remaja masjid Desa Sokkolia yang aktif mengikuti pelatihan public speaking. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan public speaking telah diimplementasikan dalam berbagai bentuk, antara lain menjadi MC, pembawa kultum, dan moderator kegiatan masjid. Analisis korelasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara intensitas latihan dengan frekuensi keterlibatan (r = 0,61; p < 0,05), yang berarti semakin sering latihan dilakukan, semakin tinggi pula keterlibatan remaja dalam kegiatan masjid. Selain itu, tingkat kepuasan peserta terhadap program pelatihan tergolong tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 82.5%, terutama pada aspek metode pelatihan dan dukungan fasilitator. Berdasarkan temuan ini, penelitian merekomendasikan adanya program lanjutan berupa mentoring intensif serta integrasi keterampilan komunikasi dalam kegiatan keagamaan rutin remaja masjidKata kunci: public speaking, remaja masjid, pelatihan, kepuasan, keterlibatan sosial-keagamaan

Abstract

The study aimed was to determine the effect of the SaLDI learning model integrated with TPACK on student activity, motivation and learning outcomes. This type of research is an experiment with a posttest-only control group design. The sampling technique is using random sampling. The sample in this study was XI 5 class as the control class and XI 6 as the experimental class, each class totalling 32 students at SMAN 14 Makassar. The instruments used were observation sheet of learning activity, questionnaire of learning motivation, learning outcome test with multiple choice type. Research data analysis includes descriptive and inferential analysis and uses non-parametric testing with mann whithney test using SPSS type 25.0. The results of descriptive analysis showed that implementing of the TPACK-integrated SaLDI learning model in the experimental class had the ability of active learning activities, very high learning motivation and good learning outcomes. The results of the infrential analysis show that the alpha significance is smaller than 0.05. So, there is a positive influence of SaLDI learning model integrated with TPACK on the activity, motivation and learning outcomes of Biology students at SMAN 14 Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the constructivist Biology learning experience of high school students in South Sulawesi. The research subjects consisted of 525 students from 7 districts/cities in South Sulawesi. The method used in this study was a descriptive survey using a closed questionnaire instrument and a Likert scale. The data collection technique used a Google Forms platform that contained a questionnaire. The data obtained were processed using descriptive and inferential analyses. The results showed that the constructivist biology learning experience of students in South Sulawesi included learning personality indicators of 64.20%, reflection thinking of 68.89%, problem solving and investigation relevance to daily life of 69.55%, collaborative learning of 71.00%, discussion of 72.75%, teaching scaffolding of 68.29%. Then a very low correlation coefficient value is shown in the learning personality indicator with problem solving investigation of 0.15. The strong correlation coefficient value on the collaborative learning indicator with discussion is 0.60. The findings of this study indicate that the overall constructivist learning experience of students in South Sulawesi is still moderately low and the correlation coefficient between the dominant indicators is still weak. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve the constructivist Biology learning experience to optimize learning effectiveness.
