Abstract

This study will describe information that Islam plays a role in influencing the struggle in determining the main ideology of the Indonesian people. Some Indonesian Muslim leaders strive to determine the foundation of the country in studying Indonesian history requires a proper understanding of the role of Islam. Before independence, the movement of Islam in Indonesia was divided into two major currents: traditionalists who developed in the countryside and modernists who grew up in urban areas. The current type of research is critical analysis. This research is based on library research and textual analysis of relevant materials taken from primary and secondary sources on history, development, change and transformation. The results of this study reveal that nationalism does not conflict with Islam and therefore Muslims can apply it in their lives. This is because nationalism can be used to obtain peace among the people whether they are Muslim or non-Muslim. Nationalism will not harm Islam and Muslims in Indonesia because nationalism is part of Islam. They allow the application of man-made laws such as nationalism as long as they are suitable for Muslims. However, their acceptance of Pancasila as a state ideology is a reflection of their commitment to Indonesian nationalism.

Abstract

This paper aims to put forward the implementation of sufism (tasawuf) in the learning of Islamic education which is analyzed by the approach of independence, dialogue, and integration. This discussion finds that Islamic education in the era of globalization is momentum in developing and building competitive Islamic education. Islamic education must be able to face all forms of globalization challenges with their various impacts. The presence of Sufism is the antidote to the problem of the Islamic education being faced. The formation of our human beings from the process of Islamic education made Sufism a method and learning strategy.

Abstract

This article discusses Code switching of English and Arabic happens in the  Islamic boarding school: Pondok Pesantren Terpadu Miftahul Ulum Al-Yasini Pasuruan East Java. The researchers fascinated in analyzing a code-switching which usually happened at that place. The aim of this study is to find (1) the reasons in using code-switching in PPT Miftahul Ulum Al-Yasini Pasuruan, and (2) the types of code-switching used in that place by all members of the room. This is a descriptive qualitative research. In this case, interview and observation is used to get the data. This research was conducted for two weeks in the end of January 2020. The participants were  15 students from 3 rooms from Germany area which consisted for about 70 students. The results showed that the students used code-switching because of six reasons, such as: talking about specific topic, quoting somebody else, quoting someone else, interjection, recurrence for clarification, clarification the speech content for the interlocutor, to strengthen or soften some requests and command, and because of lexical need. The implication is that code-switching is inevitable due to various situation. It occurs in the context of EFL particularly when two foreign languages are simultaneously learned.  Keywords: bilingualism, code switching, Pesantren, sociolinguistics.

Abstract

The implementation of PP No. 55/2007 is part of government intervention in religious and religious education. every policy stipulated in its implementation certainly raises constructive criticism. Criticism that arises starts from the aspects of laws and regulations, the implementation process and the impact of a policy in the set of approaches used in this research policy research that focuses on researching policy formulation. The content analysis technique in this research is to compare the contents/formulation of PP RI No. 55 of 2007 concerning Islamic religious education with public policy theory. The researcher selects the data source that has relevance to this policy study and concludes the data for conclusions. The results of the research found were the formulation of PP RI No. 55 of 2007 related to public policy objectives that are regulative, deregulation, dynamic or stabilizing. Regulatory aspects provide restrictions and regulate the implementation of Islamic religious education. The deregulation aspect has the purpose of liberating in terms of providing education. The aspects of dynamism as the driving force for national education goals. The purpose of stabilization is intended to make adjustments to the rules so that Islamic educational institutions follow the National Education Standards.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the religious orientation recognized by fundamentalism among students. This research can provide a comprehensive picture and answer regarding the attitude of Islamic fundamentalism. The research approach used is descriptive quantitative research. The method used in this research is the descriptive method. A descriptive method that aims to test a theory and provides a statistical picture with a percentage to show a description of the research data. Researchers took research samples through a random sampling technique of 100 respondents who are actively involved as Rohis activists from five high schools (SMAN/SMKN and MAN). The data analysis produced in this study is a descriptive statistical technique. Descriptive statistical analysis is used to analyze data by describing or describing the collected data as it is without intending to make generalized conclusions or generalizations. The results of the distribution show that some students are classified as having a high Fundamentalist Attitude, and a few others have a very high Fundamentalism Attitude. There are 4 people (4%) who have moderate fundamentalism.

Abstract

Personality of a teacher should be a role model for students. This is because the personality of the teacher have direct and cumulative effect on student behavior. Behavior of the teacher in teaching directly or indirectly have an influence on student’s motivation either positive or negative in nature, means that, if the teacher's personality displayed in accordance with the expectations of student teaching, students will be motivated to learn well.

Abstract

The study also sought to determine the contribution of students' perceptions about the professionalism of teachers and learning motivation of Islamic religious education to the formation of the Islamic Personality of learners. Together the students' perception of the professionalism of teachers and learning motivation of Islamic religious education related to the establishment of the Islamic Personality. Results of multivariate analysis with multiple regression which has a dominant role and significantly associated with the formation of the Islamic personality, that students' perceptions about the professionalism of teachers and learning motivation of Islamic religious education. Party authorities and teachers are expected to pay attention to these factors either the professionalism of teachers and learning motivation of Islamic religious education, so as to support the achievement of the formation of Islam with a good personality. The results could be implicated to learners in particular to improve the professionalism of teachers and learning motivation of Islamic religious education in order to overcome the obstacles in penguasaaan science of Islamic education in the formation of the Islamic personality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi peran kompetensi guru dan lingkungan sekolah sangatlah penting untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Peran motivasi sangat besar dalam belajar, dengan motivasi inilah siswa menjadi tekun dalam proses belajar mengajar, dan dengan motivasi itu pula kualitas hasil belajar siswa dapat diwujudkan dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kompetensi profesionalisme guru dan lingkungan di sekolah dengan motivasi belajar PAI peserta didik kelas XI Tahun Pelajaran 2016 – 2017 di SMA/SMK/MA se kota Probolinggo. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode kuesioner, yang disebarkan kepada 60 sampel. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik Proporsional Random Sampling teknik analisis data yang di gunakan adalah korelasi ganda. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam penelitian ini hasil statistik diketahui nilai korelasi r hitung sebesar ry3 = 0,591. Angka ini mengisyaratkan bahwa hubungan berjalan secara bersama–sama antara kompetensi profofesionalisme guru dan lingkungan sekolah adalah positif. Nilai R Square sebesar 0,350 menunjukkan bahwa variable kompetensi profesionalisme guru dan lingkungan sekolah dengan motivasi belajar PAI berkontribusi terhadap motivasi belajar PAI 35%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 65% dijelaskan oleh faktor lain yang tidak dianalisis dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Backgound: Difficulty sleeping or insomnia is a complaint about the lack of quality sleep caused by one of; it is difficult to enter sleep, often wake up at night then difficulty to go back to sleep, wake up too early, and sleep badly. Insomnia is not caused by at least one person sleeping, because everyone has a number of hours of sleep on their own. This is a case study of subjects who experience symptoms of insomnia due to stress. Besides subject matter experience, because of academic and family factors. Interventions used are cognitive restructuring and emotional relaxation therapy, muscle. Methods: This study uses a psychological assessment which is an activity to collect subject data using data collection techniques from observation, interviews, and psychological tests. Result: the results of therapy that have been carried out using the interview method conducted directly to the subject, several days after the therapy was carried out experienced significant success. Conclusion: the application of restructuring of psychotherapy and relaxation of emotions, muscles can reduce insomnia

Abstract

Proses belajar mengajar ialah sesuatu rancangan dari program proses pembelajaran yang wajib direncanakan serta disampaikan, kemudian ditunjukan terhadap hasil yang di diharapkan ataupun menjadi cerminan hasil proses pendidikan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah bagaimana cara meningktakan kecerdasan spritual santri melalui pembelajaran kitab Hamami Zaadah (tafsir yasin). Tujuan penelitian ini supaya mengetahui bagaimana cara meningktakan kecerdasan spritual santri melalui pembelajaran kitab Hamami Zaadah (tafsir yasin). Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori kualitatif deskriptif, karena penelitian yang hendak diimplementasikan berupaya mendefinisikan mengenai kitab Hamami Zaadah (tafsir yasin) untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual santri di pondok pesantren. Dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan spiritual santri mengembangkan penjelasan kitab Hamami Zaadah (tafsir yasin), pengasuh serta pembimbing akan terus berusaha agar santri mempunyai kepahaman yang optimal dengan menerapkan nilai-nilai yang terdapat dalam kitab hamami zaadah sehingga spiritualitas santri bisa diimplementasikan dalam diri santri, alhasil dalam penerapan aktivitas pembelajaran kitab bisa dicerna, maka dari itu pihak pondok pesantren harus menyiapkan suatu upaya dan usaha untuk meningkatkan spiriual santri sehingga wajib mempersiapkan suatu usaha serta upaya agar kecerdasan spiritual santri akan menghasilkan angka keagaaman senantiasa bermanfaat pada santri.
