Abstract

The purpose of  this paper is to  improve  role  of police  community  partnership forum (FKPM)  in  the prevention of crime. Methodology approach  in this study uses an empirical- juridical approach, because the scope of the research is to study law in  action. A prevention effort of criminal act not only as police responsibility but also as society responsibility entirely. To develop a partnership between police and society, it is formed community policing model (Perpolisian Masyarakat/ Polmas) as regulated in Decree  of  Indonesia Chief Police  No.  Skep/737/X/2005 on  Policies  and Implementation  Strategy  of  Community Policing Model  in  Police  Duties. In other words, Indonesia police move or empowering the people (pemberdayaan masyarakat) in order to  motivate the rising power of  the people themselves for performing functions of the police. Idea of alternative police also can be called as an attempt for empowering the society to create security function in their surroundings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi serbuk rimpang kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val.) yang menyebabkan konsentrasi tengahan (LC50) dan waktu tengahan (LT50) kematian kumbang jagung (Sitophilus zeamais M). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli sampai dengan bulan Oktober 2010 di Laboratorium Jurusan Biologi Fakultas MIPA Universitas PGRI Palembang. Uji toksisitas akut kumbang jagung menggunakan metode bioassay dengan waktu aplikasi 96 jam. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis probit dengan program SPSS versi 13 dan metode Spearman-Karber. Konsentrasi serbuk rimpang kunyit yang diuji adalah 0, 22, 24, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, dan 38% diaplikasikan selama 96 jam. Hasil penelitian di dapatkan LC50 dengan waktu aplikasi 24, 48, dan 96 jam secara berurutan sebesar 30,26  27,73 dan  25,53%. Nilai LT50 konsentrasi 32, 34, 36, dan 38 % secara berurutan sebesar  1310.  1172, 1044, dan 812 menit.

Abstract

Salah satu pengembangan dalam suatu mobil adalah desain bodi mobil. Desain mobil tidak hanya ditinjau dari factor estetika (keindahan), namun juga berdasarkan bentuk keaerodinamisan bodinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pola aliran, koefisien drag (CD) dan koefisien lift (CL) pada bodi mobil ESEMKA RAJAWALI standar dengan bodi mobil ESEMKA RAJAWALI modifikasi.     Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan merubah geometri sudut kap dengan kaca bodi mobil standar dengan sudut 156o menjadi 165o, dan merubah bemper depan yang memiliki sudut 90o menjadi 65o. Desain pembuatan bodi mobil menggunakan software solidworks 2014. Dan disimulasikan menggunakan CFD pada software Ansys 15.0     Dari hasil simulasi CFD didapatkan perbedaan pola aliran dan nilai-nilai tekanan pada bodi mobil masing-masing bodi mobil. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi perhitungan coefficient drag dan coefficient lift pada bodi mobil ESEMKA RAJAWALI modifikasi lebih kecil dari bodi mobil ESEMKA RAJAWALI standar.

Abstract

The research is conducted using weak experimental type one group pre test post test design. The object of this research is 16 second-level students as the respondents. The sample is taken by using simple random sampling technique. Data collection was performed by giving test and questionnaire. The given test was writing Japanese essays (sakubun) with the topic “hobby”. The writer applies two tests, they are pre test and post test. Pre test is given before the students are taught by implementing Secret Message Game, and post test is given after the students are taught with Secret Message Game. This research is processed by paired sample t-test using software of SPSS Version 16 in order to know whether Ha is accepted or not. Based on the data analysis, the value of the post test in writing Japanese essays is lower than 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). It means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Besides that, most students agree that this game is effectively helping to write Japanese essays (sakubun) easily. The result of this research is that there is a significant impact of using Secret Message Game in learning of Japanese essays (sakubun) on the second-level students of Japanese Education Department Faculty of Teacher’s Training and Education Riau University.Key Words: Sakubun, Secret Message Game, Writing Skill

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to determine student learning outcomes before and after using KWL method and to find out the influence of KWL method on students’s ability in reading comprehension Japanese text (Dokkai) by the third level students of Japanese Education Department Faculty of Teacher’s Training and Education Riau University. This research used quasi experimental research with one group pretest - posttest design. The object of this research are 16 third level students of Japanese Education Department Faculty of Teacher’s Training and Education Riau University Academic Year 2016/2017. Data collection was performed by giving test (pretest and post test). The given test was 3 essay and 6 questions shaped is matching vocabulary, essay to find out the students’s ability in reading comprehension (pretest and post test). On average pretest results obtained by the students was 50,31 and at posttest increased by 5,61 into 55,92. Then the pretest and posttest results processed using statistical test by paired sampling t-test  using software of SPSS Version 19 to get the value of the significant of the application KWL method.      Based on statistical calculations for the t-test using SPSS for Windows software version 19 with paired sample test found significant numbers 0,039 lower than 0.05 ( 0.039 < 0.05 ). It means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, so there is a significant impact with the application of KWL method on the learning of Japanese reading comprehension (dokkai) by the third level students of Japanese Education Department Faculty of Teacher’s Training and Education Riau University.  Thus, it can be concluded that KWL method was effective in reading comprehension japanese text (dokkai). Key words: dokkai, method, KWL

Abstract

The prominent physical disorder for women during menstruation is dysmenorrhea. There are several methods to reduce dysmenorrhea pain; one of them is the Mozart. Mozart music can overcome the pain based on the gate control theory that explained the pain impulse can be regulated or inhibited along the central nerve system. The aim of this research is to analyzed the effect of Mozart music on reducing dysmenorrhea pain for adolescent in MAN Sooko Mojokerto. Research design that used by researcher is pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test design. The populations in this research were all adolescent in tenth grade students of MAN Sooko Mojokerto. The sampling used is purposive sampling with 20 respondents were found which appropriate criteria. The collecting data is using numerical pain scale and the result processed with paired sample T-Test. From the result of paired T-Test showed that p (0,000) &lt; &alpha; (0,05), so that, Ho refused. It means there is significant effect of Mozart music on reducing dysmenorrhea pain. This is because by listening to Mozart music can stimulate the raising of endorphin hormone that would block the release of P substance from sensory neuro, so impulse pain transmission in the spinal medulla becomes blocked, so that menstrual pain sensation is reduced.Key Words: Dysmenorrhea, Mozart Music.

Abstract

Abstract : This study discruses the flashcard media in learning Japanese vocabulary to vocational student SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine significant differences, between the vocabulary of student who use the flashcard media and who do not use flashcard media as well as how the vocabulary before and after implementation of flashcard media. The object in this research is second semester of class X student in SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. Cosist of two class, class X Society 1 and X Society 2. This Quasi Experiment using Pretest-Posttest in two classes were experiment’s class and control’s class. The result is the flashcard media can improve the outcomes of Japanese vocabulary better than the outcome with convecional menthod. Experiment class (class treatment) are also increasting with 96,25 to the average value in the experimental class and 61,5 in the control class.Key Word: Learning Vocabulary, flashcard Media , Student of Class X SMAN 9 Pekanbaru

Abstract

Abstract : This research is about the application of learning media word wall in order to improve the students on japanese vocabulary. This research took place in senior high school of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to know how the procedures are being implemented and to know the degree of improvement by using media word wall. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The object of this research is was students of grade XI IPA 1 Senior High School of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru as many as 35 persons. This research is conducted in two cycles. The design used is the designed introduced by Kemmis & Mc. Taggart which the research flow includes steps such as: 1) planning, 2) acting, 3) observing, 4) reflecting. The data collection techtiques used are observation, field note, test on each cycle and documentation. On the cycle I, the result is 66%, on the cycle II increased into 77,14%. It can be concluded that the application of learning word wall media in order to improve the students on japanese vocabulary to student grade XI IPA senior high school of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru.Keywords : Vocabulary.Word Wall, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Parit Hidayat in Teluk Dalam village. The purpose of this research was to find out the pilgrimage procession to Sheikh Abdurrahman Siddiq Al-Banjari's tomb. The focus of this research is the process of tomb pilgrimage, the meaning of the tomb pilgrimage, and the intention of pilgrims makes pilgrimage to the tomb of Sheikh Abdurrahman Siddiq Al-Banjari. The researcher used the descriptive qualitative methods. The informants in this research were 6 informants. Data collection used method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Sheikh Abdurrahman Siddiq Al-Banjari is a leader of the kingdom of Indragiri. This research found that people makes pilgrimage to Sheikh Abdurrahman Siddiq's tomb every day. Sheikh Abdurrahman Siddiq's tomb was also used as an intermediary to pray for the people. The people believes that by visiting the tomb of Shaykh Abdurrahman Siddiq, all wish the people pray will be carried out, because Sheikh Abdurrahman Siddiq immediately convey the wish of the pilgrims to Allah. So as to give rise to a desire to be achieved by pilgrims when on pilgrimage to Sheikh Abdurrahman Siddiq tomb. Keywords: Tradition, Culture, Tomb Pilgrimage
